I went to this cache today and if I had followed the hint I would have been stuck by syrings. The bush behind the chair has a few of them in it. No cache. Could the owner please remove this cache from the list.

Didn't delve too deep after a very close call with a syringe. I think its safe to say that the cache is no longer here. And if it was I would recommend not attempting it anyway, It might just be me but I consider a multitude of broken glass & dirty hypodermic needles a little dangerous. Definately not worth the risk.
I was in the area with time to kill and was checking on known caches. This one I couldn't find. There is, however, some new garden plumbing running right through the old hiding spot. I think it's been Muggled
Westside appears to be gone for good for the moment.
Unfortunately, this was the only DNF racked up while attempting 14 caches in a day in Canberra on the 20th. We went on to rack up 32 finds for our SE NSW Caching Holiday.

I have now visited this site three times and still no luck. Can I get someone who knows where it is to check that it is still there

Couldn't find this one, but we were able to find the pub....very nice.
Thanks.....Lex.
Thanks.....Lex.
Two goes to knock this off. First attempt the area was heavily infested with muggles. Still we were warned.
So THAT's where that pub is!

After being muggled at our first attempt, HeathLet and I headed back here to try for it again. With no-one around at all, the find was quite easy (given the clue admittedly ) and at 17:20 we logged the find. TNLNSL. Thanks maleks.
I did what I was told and left this one till the end of the night, however, the pub was closed!
2340 was a good time to go for this one: not a muggle (or smoker) in sight! TNLNSL. TFTC.

Found it easily, a bit surprised muggles haven't stumbled on it as I guess this is a well-visited spot.
Cache sure is small, managed to squeeze in a dinosaur when we took out the butterfly
It's been a while since anyone has been here so had to reach around a fair bit - almost gave up, thinking it had gone walkabout!
Found by Lambchops @ 1:15PM
Luckily this one is still there, saw as soon as I sat down as it was not covered under the bush. Easy one to do on weekends for sure. Took bouncing ball and left dice.
Thanks maleks

Nice one! Who would have thought there's a geocache there. We've spent the day chasing down a HUGE multi-cache, so it was nice to find one quickly. The cache had been thrown out of it's spot, but we put it back carefully. Took plastic cockroach, left Davidoff purfume.
Just catching up on my logs now that i again have computer access, took ladybug and waited for a lull before being able to replace cache
An easy find but a difficult place to be discrete!
Took stickers and left ladybug.

Just came from the film and sound archives. Isn't the Civic area quiet on a Sunday mroning. Nice easy find. Thanks malek youv'e given us some good finding this weekend.
Our 2nd of 5 for the day. Great location very easy to find but difficult to get without being caught by geo muggles. Took a plastic shell and left a blue beetle.
I was passing through on a Saturday night. The pub was packed and people were watching and I wasn't gona stick my hand in there and feel around. Maybe next time. Thanks for the hunt.
A nice easy find. In and out in 5 minutes. No-one around on a Saturday morning. Just signed the log. Thanks Maleks
Found by Mary & David at 0740. Just down the road from where we were staying, making a raid before breakfast quite easy. No smoking muggles about yet to hinder our quick search. Took Tasmanian Devil, left shell. Our thanks to maleks.
A nice stroll from the vernon's. when I got to the location, there was a small box broken very near to where the cache was hidden, and Ithought that the cache might have been raided. LUckily, this was not the case, and I found it soon after.
Found this one on our way out of town ... apart from a couple of empty buses, the area was deserted. Made my search much easier! No small swaps with us, so just signed the log - took nothing and left nothing. Thanks for the hunt!
Area totally deserted at 3pm on Sat arvo. Easy, surprising find. Clever spot. Signed sheet, Cooeee off I rode through the quiet civic. no. 4 for the day.
Found it on the second attempt.
It was in a pretty difficult place to find, but we found it in the end!
It was a lot of fun.
We took the plastic Yowie figure, and we left a plastic Tasmanian Devil we found in a previous geocaching trip.

Grabbed this one fairly easily, area was very quiet. In some ways this may have been easier if it was a little busier as a lady across the road at the bus stop had nothing better to do than watch what I was doing. Got it in the end anyway. Great cache.

What a great place to hide a cache. Saturday morning seems to be pretty quiet in this area and a good time to visit. The cache is extremely full but in good condition. Very small swaps would be ideal. Left Ditti the Yowie who was picked up from Andries Red Hot Spot. Took a two cent coin.
1 urban cache
5:00 PM on a work day
only a 10 min parking meter available
could we find the cache,
extract it and log it
hide it again
and get back to the car in under 10 minutes?
This was our mission.
We choose to accept it........
In fact we made it back with a few minutes to spare - the cache was easily found - logged and a descrete pretend yawn and stretch had the cache back in its hiding hole again.
Didn't leave enough time for a quick one at the local pub though - damn.
thanks

at 4:45 the location was getting busy so we quickly parked and grabbed the cache with out being seen. after a quick rest on a bench while logging it we headed back to the car and off to the next cache
Second attempt at this location too many people around the first time. Left(fresh) AA batteries, ment to take the 2 cent peice but forgot!
gf was quite busy this trip she found this one too. Said, interesting location...gps kept reading incorrectly...but found it anyways. Thanks for the fun down under....mate
Hah hah ..finally found it...well BundyB did the actual finding I just cheered...
Found this one during the week. It was a bit cold and drizzly when I came past so not to many people where out on the street to see my hunt. When I figured out where the cache was I walked past a few times to get a better look and I noticed that it was viewable from the footpath, if you looked in the right spot. After taking up a position at the seat I was able to reach in and grab the booty with out drawing any attention. I hope. I swapped out the key ring and left a plastic bug. I also sharpened the pencil. Its lucky I carry around a small pen knife, which in my mind is a critical caching tool. Thanks for the fun. After I finished I poked the cache a bit further into the bush. Its not viewable from the path any more.
Took me three tries to sit down and search well enough to find it but got it in the end. Amazing how unobservant we can be when people fit in. Took the pendant left a keychain.
Does anyone know where one could buy many pencil sharpener's at a cheap price? I am getting fed up with having to pay about $1 for a pencil sharpener. I really need to add this item to all of my geocaches. If I can buy them bulk and cheap I'd be happy to drop one in other geocaches.
Easy peasy. Without a GPS, the clues should help you. It was a pleasant surprise all the same. Pencil still broken, sorry I didn't have a sharpener. Left a slippy hand for any kids.
Couldn't wash my thirst with a beer as it was closed on a Sunday morning!

A sunny Saturday was an ideal time to hunt this cache as there was minimal eyeshot from the great unwashed! My intuition immediately suspected the hiding spot but I paused a bit to work up some Indiana Jones gusto for the final run in. The potential for additional surprises shouldn't be underestimated. Took the plastic rubber ball and replaced it with a former two cent coin. Surreptitiously replaced the cache but luckily there were no prying eyes.
[Future cache hunters will need to bring their own pen/biro as the top of the lead in the pencil has snapped off]

Been away a week, and come back to find lots of new caches in town! I like it.
Nice and easy find early on a Saturday morning. Not sure how I would go about this one during the week? Took Dinosaur and left a pendant. Thanks Maleks for giving me an excuse not to sleep in this morning…

Ahh, a nice easy find! I came, found, and wrote who I was not. Swapped out a super ball, swapped in a dinosaur and had a hard time getting him in there. Nice little cache, pity about the huge number of ciggarette buts around there. I must get my friend with his blue and white home brand car to park there and book a few litter bugs. It's something he enjoys doing.
I really expected Trainee to head for this one seeing as how it must be close to where he lives. I delibretly held off reporting this to see if he'd be covered in anguish to find my comments there.
