Logs
As I have had no response I'm archiving this cache. Please contact me at [email protected] if it needs unarchiving. Thanks, Neill.
Have sent e-mail to cache placers regarding any maintenance actions taken or planned & temporarily disabled for now.
Check logs, not there.... we found bits of it scattered among the sand. Needs to be laid again elsewhere
A good lesson to read the logs before you download the waypoints.
As previously recorded, the cache is not there.

My parents (wjbwc) have just rung me and asked that I report that the cache has been vandalised. Most of the items (including Surf Seeking Rubber Duck TB) are missing.
Dropped off the Surf Seeking Rubber Duck travel bug. He'll be glad to be at a beach, overlooking the waves.
Gus the Geo-Monkey Travel Bug was also with us.

good view, lovely day. Took the famous pen, left some felt pens from In Range 2 (Canterbury). Thanks for the excuse to journey along a new road, explore some new surroundings.
On a work trip down to Dunedin thought I would take detour number 1... great location, though there is a dead sheep quite close to the cache - rather pungent! Swapped a party popper for a rubber dinosaur.
Cheers
Nick.

Anita & I found this in the dark by torchlight, thanks to the clue! We'll visit again in daylight to see the beach and what sounds like a lovely area. Left a Cancer Society Daffodil pen and will take the Geo Turd Travel Bug for a ride, hopefully to South Africa in 2 weeks time. Had dinner with Scott & Kelly afterwards, concluding a good day of caching and socialising.
It was a lovely day in this area. We enjoyed the walk to the cache. What interesting cliffs at both ends of the beach.
We left a fish magnet and the GeoTurd Travel Bug. We took the Chopin tape.
Thanks Scott and Kelly.
