Oops no find - maybe it had already dissappeared before we got there.

This cache is being perminantly archived due to repetitive Muggling. Also, the cache site is being used as a tip - Yuck!

In the pouring rain...Fouond the spot with the 2 nails, but the cache had already been removed...never found it Sad

10-Jan-05
I have replaced this cache with a small, well hidden Micro, hidden on the platform itself.
Have asked the moderator (nzmoderator1) to ressurect it so that I can update the cache instructions.

Unarchived to allow editing.

What about a Bear_left style attachment for the deck?
Something like a hollowed-out bit of 100x100 with some glued-on bolts? Or maybe bolts that unscrew?

05-Jan-05
Second time in as many weeks that this cache has gone missing. It's a great spot, so I'll need to try and come up with another solution.

05-Jan-05
We tried to find this one so after waiting until a couple had finished the fish'n'chips luch we went to work. There were a couple of interuptions for people coming to look at the view. After searching for some time we concluded that this had been lost again.

We were hoping to find a travel bug on our second cache this day and we did!!!
The path was a little confusing and we were not sure to go in there but we were glad we did!
Only took the travelbug to bring to Holland, no trade.

Team: Godert & Marieke
From: the Netherlands

After arriving in Greymouth we just visited the internetstore and we saw that there was a cache only 650 meters from the campsite.

A nice walking, a bit steep at one place but a beautiful view of the town, see and surroundings.

08-Feb-04
Well this was a trip down memory lane, use to live up Arnotts Height lots more development up there now. Well I was the one who had to take the short walk down the muddy track but didn't take me too long to locate the cache was well hidden.
Didn't take anything but probably left a party popper.
Cheers

Went searching for this on the way out of Greymouth and found a travel bug wanting to head to Uluru. As we are headed home to Sydney in a week or so we thought we'd help out.

- Rope watch (for a friend who was with us at the time)

13-Aug-03
Sorry Steve and Ruth, I picked up the Circumforaneous Kiwi in order to take him to Nelson.

10-Aug-03
Called in to see Circumforaneous Kiwi. His offer of a trip to Nelson sounds good, so he was left to look out over Greymouth for the time being.

Took Avon, left rope watch.

Thanks Moneydork.

The Travel Bug Circumforaneous Kiwi looked like he was missing cache life, so I put him in the cache.
If he's still here next week, I'll take him up to Nelson, otherwise someone else can help him on his quest.
