I tend to agree with other visitors .... this one is missing in action. The area has been cleaned up and the grass sprayed so there is no under growth to hide in ...
Three Strikes and It's out (of action) until confirmed either way.
Will try to get over there this long weekend.

Hi,
I found the white marker "RW" but no cache. It was quite stormy today and I was soaked by the time I made it up tho the car. Best to check on this one. Nice spot though.

Very pretty view. Spent over an hour at Ground Zero with no luck. Very possibly muggled? (I, too, found the white RW marker.)

What a beautiful area! I found this with a friend of mine while we were looking for a place to camp. Thanks for the hide! T- Aladins Lamp TB. L - Sully TB.
What a great place - a key piece of our NZ foundations and such a scenic spot. Were accompanied most the way across the grounds by a cute little fantail - he was darting around our heads and seemed very excited to see us! We tried turning over a couple of rotten trees for him (For food) but he wasn't interested - just wanted to dart around us! Many thanks for the cache
Ha - finally found one after failures earlier in the day in Paihia and Russell. This one is in a nice spot and I found it pretty easily. Left Aladin's Lamp TB, no other swops. Thanks.
Easy find. Left smelly pens and carabinery clip. Took measuring tape and TB Cash Barne.

Wasn't sure how to approach this one initially, so went and had a coffee at the nearby café. Asked the waitress about the beach walk, and she kindly pointed a way to the track. Once on the track it was easy from there. What a beautiful walk and such a gorgeous day! Cache was a nice distraction at the end Cheers Gav [497]
Lovely view. Golfers elsewhere today but nice day for fishing and looking around Treaty Grounds
Found easily after all the golfers and groundsmen had buggered off! Lovely location for a cache, took Squid pro quo to help him on his way...

The Real Badger & Muffin
Releasing Squid Pro Quo into the wilds, He's done his time at sea and has had many harrowing, but always successful escapes from other very much larger pelagic predators. Now he goes in search of quieter waters around the world in his retirement.
Bon Voyage Squiddy.
Bon Voyage Squiddy.
Lots of dangearous golfballs, but could not find the entrance to the cliffpath. Locals showed different directions-gave up.Thanks anyway.

Found with Dysentry. Found cache without any problems. Location rather windy. A nice little walk along the grass to the location with some golf balls in flight. A cool view out to sea.

Here we are a long way from home.
Yesterday it was “The hole in the Rock†and today out to see some dolphins.
Start the day with a cache trip. No golf player around but some fishermen.
Left the TB Berta16 after a long time in our possess. Send it with my daughter six months ago but forget to give her the GPS.
We took the “TB Cookie Monster and his Vacation Caravan†out for a trip.

Was heading into Paihia, so let cookie monster loose on the unsuspecting tourists. Bon Voyage my Hairy Little Mate!
This has a great view of the water and islands. There were many people around, so had to be careful. Nice day too. TN, left postcard. Thanks Imgame from Colorado, USA
An easy find. Had to wait for some passing sportsmen to play before our final search.
Cecil B der celery TB came with us to look at the outstanding views.

Yes - one of our Beanz was asleep and you know what they say about sleeping babies! The view for those of us not asleep or on duty (the other thing about sleeping babies is that they should not be left alone in the car!) was great.
Took: Kiwi brand shoelaces (nice touch)
Left: Gorilla

Third quick one of the day - again with Ellie Beanz - smaller crew this time though as the original Ellie Beanz was asleep in the car. Took padlock - left wallet (empty though - sorry)

Also just happened to be passing (as it were) in the early morning, Gave Spikes Little Friend a lift further North
I was just passing, as it were, and dropped of TB Spike's little friend as this cache had a reasonably spacious kennel.
April 30th Ritzy
This cache was a easy find.
Excellent views, Shame we didn't have a rod.
Out nothing.
In padlock.

Saw Pat was home, so nipped over to collect and give him a warm bed for the night. The concert party was going full bore for the tourists next door, but apart from one lone fisherman returning empty-handed, we had the bay to ourselves.
An easy find in the morning, when the crowds and campervans are far away. Dropped TB Pat the dog.
A busy day today. After the walk from the Harura Falls we visited the treaty ground and than searched for the cache. We had no problems with the golf balls. Now we have to walk back to Haruta Falls camping ground. The cache is in good condition.

Thank goodnes for an easy one after a hard days caching. In playing cards out texas geocoin.
Thanks GG
Thanks GG
Popped in quickly to drop off texas geo coin which works like a travel bug. Was quite shocked to find the cache sitting out in the open for all to see. With all the dry weather lately the vegetation had dried off. Moved it a metre or two to conceal it.
Great location--lots of history. Weather beautiful. We enjoyed the walk while foreign visitor enjoyed the tour. Plan on lunch at the visitor's center when you visit this site.
Incredible view. Had to fight strong urge to swap Garmin for fishing rod, but sanity prevailed. Found reasonably easily after a small goose chase in the wrong shrubs. Took stuffed Kiwi, left tape measure. Also released Lumy the Kiwi TB for a trip to the big city. Golf balls make horrible nests.
Unfortunately was unable to give Lumy a tour of the North, so made a temporary nest out of used Golfballs and string to make do until another cacher can get him on his way again.
What a great location for a cache. Great place for a snorkel or a surfcast or just relaxing.
It was really funny today as we arrived at the survey peg there was a local couple lying against a tree a few meters away. They had just finished surfcasting and looked like they were there for a while so we just had to start searching the close bushes. No luck. Then the couple said are you looking for treasure. "Yes"
"Is this what you are looking for ?" It was the cache. They were sitting about one foot from it. They were really interested in the geocaching story, so you might have some new geocachers in your area.
There was no trade as we had left all back in the van.
Thanks for bring us to a neat area.

A relatively easy find in the light rain but the view was still impressive. And a nice walk, even with the rain.

Well, we were in the area and I thought I'd swith on my GPSr to see if we were near any caches - lo and behold this one was a mere 250metres away! Found this after a couple of minutes searching so we sat down to admire the view and write the log. Beautiful spot for lunch, also!
Took the puzzle and left a LED torch keyring.
Easy find, great view!
Many thanks...James & Helen.

Ran into Kiwi Cachew Nuts while there. They were kind enough to share the clue with us (someone forgot to print it out before leaving ), but like them had no luck tracking this one down.
Found by a wayward golfer perhaps??

Squelch!
Very wet underfoot, but then I wasn't on the path. Another E-Trex friendly cache location with the Yellow Peril stopping me a full one pace away from the cache. Not knowing this fact, I then proceeded to wander around scaring other night-time creepy crawlies partying in the undergrowth. Eventually I came back to the original spot, and a quick firkle in the grass left me with a cache in my hands

...Better head off to work now I suppose .
Thanks for the early morning stroll.
