Found at 17:40 I had to head in to the 2 dollar shop and buy a torch so I could do a few more caches before the long trip back to Warburton. Once I had the torch over the bridge and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks.

The Kids sure find nice spots for their caches, and a great hiding hole. Nice park, I expected more (or any) muggle traffic as it was around lunchtime, but I had it to myself.
Took: Elk (possibly reindeer), Left: Fire Truck.
Thanks, Robmc.

Once Ground Zero was located, it was just a matter of locating its hidey hole. Very well camouflaged, but found it easily really, as it could only be in one place. There wasn’t a soul around the entire time I was searching for this one, which I thought was fortunate. At 1545, I expected to have to deal with some muggle traffic. Left a small cake of soap in the cache after filling in the log. Took nothing. Thanks Keryn. Nice hide [^]

This park looks much nicer than I last remember it, but that was more than ten years ago now!! A nice easy find - TNLNSL, as our swaps are all packed for our move O/S at the end of the week! Thanks to Keryn and the 2+4 team.

We didn't even know this park existed! Thanks for a quick and easy cache. Took a small clip and left an action hero. In our haste to get to the next cache, we forgot to date the log book, although we did sign it. Wink

Found at 6:10 pm. GPS narrowed it down and Rey pointed and said 'there it is'. Quickly extracted with gloves insitu (due to the crusty undies hanging not too far away) we TNLN and were on our way.
Thanks Two+Four!

Found at 1030, in company with barcoder. Our sixth cache on our assault of Werribee and Hoppers Crossing, and our first of four Two+Four caches for the day. An easy find. The GPSr pointed us to a structure, which was the only likely place around, so it was only a matter of locating it within.

IN: Bubble blower
OUT: Packet of postage stamps featuring birds

Wow!!! Big GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig GrinBig Grin
It was just on lunch. What a spot. I could drive and park right near a table. But what, there’s more. A clean shiny BBQ right there, and it was free. Being a Friday, there was no one around so I had the park all to myself. Birds, frogs, table, chair, BBQ and a cache right close by. I took some glue out of the cache and left a philately collection. Clear skies, John. Thanks 2+4.

Ants, ants and more ants!
If you come this way bring something to rid yourself of ants.
Apart from that a very nice cache, easy enough for little G with me today.
Took a whale and left a star fish (all in the marine theme you see).
Thanks for a fun cache.

Last cache after a great day introducing my Sister and Nieces to the pleasures of geocaching. Was almost too dark to find it, but managed to avoid the spiders to fish out the cache. Swapped Nemo straw....Niece #2 fell in love with it....for a "Cat" tin with lollies. Thanks Keryn!

08-Nov-03
Found at 1745. Saw a couple of trolleys in the river as I walked across the bridge - guess the council missed a couple! GPS led me to a likely spot, but approaching from the wrong angle, I didn't see anything. Went back and around, then grabbed the container before anything lurking in the spider webs could get me, and escaped to examine the contents. The koosh ball immediately called out to me, so I swapped it for a Nemo straw (yes, a fish can be a straw) for somebody to find.

Thanks Keryn for a great spot - and thanks 2+3 for helping her hide it.

30-Oct-03

Took a protractor/compass, left Grolsch keyring. Also left TB Travis Trout, that we found in SA, to enjoy the river scenery. Our thanks to Keryn and the rest of Two+Four.

Found this one around 12:30 (I think). This was my fourth and final Two+Four cache for the day. And what a lovely day it turned out to be, at least while I was caching. After arriving at GZ, I checked the most likely object for the cache, but then had to go to the next likeliest place before finding the cache.

I took a carabina from the cache, but I didn't write down at the time what I left. I think it was a pompom ball and something else, but I'm not sure.

Thanks, Two+Four, for this and all the other caches recently hidden.
