Called by yesterday evening to check in on the cache. The cache has gone and the cache hiding spot has been comprised, read damaged. I don't believe that a cache can be now hidden in the original spot, without being quickly muggled. There is a possible hiding spot nearby, but not a great spot - not one that I would be keen on. Hence the suggested archive unless the owners can investigate or someone would like to adopt.

27-Jan-06
cache missing, location damaged

26-Jan-06
Have put in a adoption request. Assuming that is appoved or in fact either way, will look to get this back up and going within a week.

23-Jan-06
Plenty of no finders..owner hasnt responded.

23-Jan-06
Six no finds in a row.
This needs a check

I thought it was my inexperience until I came back and read the logs. Me thinks missing too.

28-Dec-05
I must remember when travelling interstate to check the recent logs. I also looked on 20/12/05. Arnty B had a look as well. We found 5 golfballs but no cache. Great views, Thanks Anyway - UNKA DAVE

15-Dec-05
This has definately gone. I was here months before with Dangerducks and we found it easy.

Might be an idea to temporarily disable while you check it out and/or replace cache.

15-Nov-05
Gave this one a go as was near. Did not find, looked in, around and up all the paperbarks, found 4 golf balls but no cache!!! Being a hot day no muggles were around so was able to have a thorough search.

20-Aug-05
Chwiliwr pointed out the cryptic log of PaddyK to me and I thought why not go and see. So I went and sure enough he had left something. Signed log for the cache and then went to find the little green man. Thanks PaddyK for leaving the present.

The log book of the cache has only a few pages left and there is nothing left inside the cache to write with so it will need to be fixed sometime soon.
TNLN TFC Trekkers.

20-Aug-05
To think I could've knocked this one off a long time ago if only I had the co-ordinates plugged into the old GPSr back when I did "I Yam What I ...".

A pleasant return visit to a great spot.

Note: Log book is down to the last couple of pages and will need replacing soon.

Took: Nothing!
Left: Nothing! (or did I?)

18-Aug-05

14-Jun-05
Found this one quickly and easily on a quick walk from the office i was training in over the road. Decided i was all alone with not a soul in site, and had the cache spread out on the ground near it's hiding spot trying to remove an ant or two when an oldish fella power walked past me and said hi - luckily he didn't seem to be very interested in what i was doing (tho it must be strange seeing someone dressed in buisness attire parked on the side of a path searching thru a container full of junk...)

Cache is nice and dry, I put the log book in the zip lock bag as it was feeling ever so slightly damp. Cache is somewhat ant infested.. a little surface spray wouldn't go astray:)

Left a calling card - nice little collection forming there!

Thanks for the cache!
T.

Our first - the clue helped !

04-Jun-05
A nice location. This was our first geocache, we were quite excited to make the find. We are hooked.

28-May-05
Not a pony in sight today, so an easy find without any much subterfuge required.
No swaps.
What a nice bit of swampland so close to the industrial centre of Osborne Park.

27-Apr-05
Found at 12:50pm on my 2 day visit to Perth. I was pleasantly surprised to find this location as I had lived in Perth for 13 years previously and never had the occasion to visit the area. I appreciated the lake, the ducks and opportunity to find another cache. I swapped a first-aid book out for a souveniour key-ring.

06-Apr-05
I've never seen bark quite like this before - natural paper!
+ Rubber Stamp TB
- spinning king
Thanks The Trekkers

24-Mar-05
Dropped in here on my way through to Trigg Or Treat (GCJT3M). A hard days GeoCaching. I think this was my third hunt for the day.

No one around. Sweet!

Had so much trouble trying to find this cache. I don't know what went wrong, couldn't get a good fix. Trees? Solar flares? UFOs? My human error? More than likely me.

I will return.

Thanks Trekkers for enlightening me about something I didn't know about this great city of ours.

We just got back from down south yesterday and the goekids were over at someone elses house so decided to take the dog for a walk around Herdsman Lake, had the GPSr in the car and decided to do this cache as I have been meaning to for a while. Cache is in fine condition. TNLN. Thanks for the adventure.

We've been waiting for some time to get over this way to log this cache. Found easily, though the coords appeared out a smidgen, but that was probably due to the tree cover. Thanks to The Trekkers for the cache, with great views of Perth and of course, the Pony Club.

27-Sep-04
Found without too much trouble on the way home. Checked a couple of places before finding the cache but it didn't take long.

Found with Aushiker and Minibenkst.

14-Aug-04
Found with Aushiker and Surfs_up. My second cache!

14-Aug-04
Found our second cache! Young Cameron (9 years old) got this one. Saw signs of tramping down of the reeds, but still needed the hint to narrow things down. We still need to learn to think geocaching Smile First thought that as the water levels had risen, the cache was "drowning." Thankfully not. Thanks for this cache; nice views. Kids enjoyed themselves. One point, it is a high traffic area, so cache needs to be well hidden. Left hacky and singaporen badge. Took golf ball and pencil.

Furthering my friend Ian’s geocaching experience we went for this one. Ian found it on his own this time. Well done.

Found it! Only one travel bug in it, now there are none.

We removed Travel Bug KEY-WEE which may now get a trip to America. Probably in the San Francisco area.

25-Apr-04
The horse people were around so it was tough to hide in the weeds since I was in plain view. Just about to give up and on my way out but looked one more place, and suddenly I saw it! The guy in an old TV series called Sea Hunt used to say that. I saw Slyvester the TB and just had to take him home for a day. Dropped off TB Keywee.

Passed by and couldn't resist to have a look at Travel bugs. Ulster Slyvester decided and wants to stay abit longer to enjoy the scenery. Wilson is being lifted up for sightseering Perth.

30-Mar-04
Found it easily after a short search. It was well hidden and the cache was jam-packed with lots of interesting goodies. We dropped of Travel Bugs Wizmedic's Wilson (TB2F4) and Ulster Slyvester (TB27AF). Wilson wants to travel to America. Slyvester wants to return to Ireland. Please help these fellows on their way. Took nothing from the cache. The pencil failed us halfway through writing in the logbook. (Could someone please take a sharpener on their next visit to the cache?) Thanks for a great cache!

5.00pm: Luckily there were no walkers in sight and it has been very quiet moment when the cache was found. TNLNSL Great location and wildlife. Thanks.

26-Mar-04
Called into this cache whilst doing maintenance at our nearby cache. I drive past here often and never seem to have the time to stop and get the cache. It's nice to be back out finding them again - thanks.

22-Mar-04
Our first cache !!!

Received my new Meridian GPS unit this afternoon, got it up and running and found this cache is within 3 km of home.

Took my daughter around sunset. It is still 35C+ after a 41C day. 4th hottest March day on record.

An easy find , even though it was almost completely dark.

T: Glider, Trekkers Card (one left).
L: Nothing as the box was too small for the item I took along.

Cache is in good condition and still well hidden.

07-Mar-04
Found it on the second try! A very clever hiding spot - we had investigated the entire periphery of the spot, and failed to find the cache the first time - despite being within 1 foot of it! Went home, and came back the next day after reading the hint. Did we feel silly.

A great spot for birding, and a nice place for a walk. Took craft knife and card, left stickers, glider and helicopter toys.

28-Feb-04
Ahh finally found it. Hard to believe with all the searching that went on last attempt this spot wasn't looked at. Cache in good condition, I like the drink-holder securing the lid. Thanks for the hunt!

04-Feb-04
Found this cache in good condition, traded a couple of items. It took a little while to find as my co-ords seemed a little out, once I read the hint though it was easy, such a nice spot close to the city.
Thanks

28-Jan-04
Spent ages here, looked everywhere, but to no avail. I bet the cache was actually there, where we've now read where it is... arrgh! Next time cache, next time!

It took a while to locate this one - well hidden but it needs to be.

Someone has used a waterbottle holder to secure the lid - a very original idea we thought. I dont know whether it was more of a challenge to find the cache or replace the lid as there are some rather large items inside. It reminded me of one of those wooden puzzle things that you can never quite seem to get back together. ha ha.

A great view of Perth from a different angle.

Thanks.

Sue

28-Dec-03
Got here at 6pm and at that time of day we didn't need to worry about nosey hikers or park goers. Just needed to watch out for wayward golf balls. 3rd find for the day, all found with no difficulty to ease us back in to this. Jasmine went camera shy today so a skyline view from the cache instead.
Took nothing but left a phone & computer surge protector. These things are expensive but I just don't use it anymore.

27-Dec-03
We paid a visit to Etamoogah pub before tackling this one on the meander home. Nice place that, but I remember it used to have it's own beer...... Needless to say it was well nigh seven o'clock at night when we found the pony club. Amazing walk along the water course where ducks were being amorous and the last of the sun was setting the buildings of Perth ablaze. It was really quiet and the twilight was adding a crispness to the air, I thought I was in heaven for a bit and then we found the cache and I knew I was because I got some more rivets!!!! Second haul today... very auspicious. We exchanged them for a very shiny keyring. Thanks Trekkers, seriously nice spot for a geocache.

29-Nov-03
9:10am. Saturday. While we were hunting for this cache we found a golf ball so we added this to the contents and took out MacDonald’s spinning top toy. The cache is only a short walk from the carpark and you and if you go in the morning like we did you will find the area quiet and peaceful. The view toward Perth in the distance is interesting. Coordinates seemed to be a small amount out but as there were only limited places you could hide a cache it wasn’t that hard to find as long as you don’t mind thrusting your hand into unknown territory.

23-Nov-03

This site not to far from home so wondered down today to have a look. Great spot, the coordinates where spot on, did not know if the reading would be out at the moment what with all this solar flare activity from the sun supposedly effecting navigation at the moment. Dug around with a stick first then quickly reached in and grabbed it. Just made an entry in log book.

15-Oct-03
After looking around the tree for a few moments, I realized my fears were true. Not wishing to start digging around the grass without being sure though, I decided to decrypt the hint. Yep, I would have to face my fears and put my hand into a place I couldn't see. Add onto that the signs warning of Tiger Snakes and yeah, I was paranoid.

After carefully peering into the fork, I found the prize. Removing it as quickly as possible, I was again reminded why this sport is so great! I had found the cache! As I have been a budget traveller for the past few months now, I carry the bare minimum with me, so what I took was the electrical tape around the outside of the box (to throw away) and what I left was a log book entry.

Thank you guys for the cache!

Chris

20-Sep-03
Well, forgot to pull the tape off and discard, but was a very interesting find nonetheless. Wasn't real sure about poking around with my hands trying to find the cache, glad someone left a convenient stick nearby!

Wasn't actually planning to visit this cache when we did, we were actually looking for the UBS store to get some maps when I pulled out my GPS, and lo and behold.....

Since we're here from the US, grabbed the Graceland T/B to carry him back over the pond. Took nothing else, left only a logbook entry.

Good cache, first one to find down under!

Regards,
Ron NN5DX + Ron K5LLL

Yep we used Duck tape. Found at 5.30pm in the fork of a paperbark tree like you said, but had to look a little. Left cappaccino key ring, first aid book, Elvis the T/B (Home to Graceland III), grandies took screwdriver and we took Duckie the T/B who is now travelling with us. Thanks Trekkers.
