In June last year, Mama Bear found saw this cache, solved the puzzle (with a little help from the Bearded Half of Bear_Left), then went out and found the required TBs.
Unfortunately, she ran out of time on that visit to complete the cache, so we made plans to relocate here permanently so we could complete it...

She'd packed the coords away in a box (one of dozens still unpacked in the Bear_Lair) but Wakiwi was kind enough to remind us of the coords, once we'd shown him the logs proving that we'd done the legwork.

A quick poke around in the likely places turned up the likeliest one of all, and we signed the log and left a TB to go into the new cache nearby.

Will be the LTF? (For the _right_ reasons!)

What else can I say! Finally managed to close the case on this one - a good and sometimes frustrating hunt.

In the words of that Looney Tune great , "Th...Th...That's all folks!"

Took: Kalgoorlie Map
Left: Toy Motorcycle / New(ish) Tennis Ball ( guess where that came from)

It has taken a long time and a long prickly walk to a golf course to find this but we can finally log it as a find after finding all the correct info that was required.
Thanks WAKiwi for this cache it has been one that we were determined to do.
Took - Another frog
Left - Macca toy and a map of Kalgorlie

A clue from only one traveller and all the other hints enabled us to find the cache.

The container is broken and the bag will hold until it rains I think but it definately needs some maintenance.

Took Nothing Let Nothing

Thanks

What a great concept and challenge -

I cannot believe that after trying to find all the components of this cache for soooo long, we where finally lucky enough to time our Perth visit with both bugs being available for capture. AND THEN we forgot to log the cache!!!!

Sorry but at this late stage I cannot remember what we swapped but do remember the cache box itself was rather large.

Thanks WAKIWI for letting us know that we had forgotten to log.

Found the cache at 13:00 without much trouble. I think it was more trouble to track down the two travellers with the information.

It took a much longer drive to find the clues for this cache than to do the cache itself. However the cache is nicely hidden and was a fun adventure.

Goodness! This has taken forever to get hold of the coords and then get out for the hunt - nonetheless it was good to have finally logged it Big Grin

I made the mistake of downloading the coordinates of this one along with the other regular caches. Works most of the time, I just look to see if there are any caches in the area, home in find them. Not this time! This is a cache of a different colour. The box does have a hole in it but has survived well, only a bit damp inside. Thanks wakiwi. TNLN

A TB making a visit

26-Jun-04

Didn't really know what we were on about on this. Had heard rumours about it. When we found one of the traveller’s it told us a bit of the story and when we found another traveller that gave us the rest and being lucky enough to make note of the first fella's information we knew where to go.

Logged our visit, swapped a small toy car for a key ring.

Well done nice cache chase.

4.55pm: Finally found it after chased the travellers in the different directions! It was a good challenge and we like the idea of it. Noticed that bottom corner of the plastic container is cracked and damaged – need to be replaced soon before the wet season comes. TN L: Aussie key ring. Thanks for a great challenge.

After carefully getting thru the bush in shorts and thongs it was nice just to be able to dodge the tennis balls. If only we had had the notes for this we may found the cache. Next time we will

Found cache... what a fun yet challenging exercise. The travellers eluded us for a while, but we wouldn't be beaten. Well done!!

Found this one easily (after finding the co-ordinates) the co-ordinates are spot on. The hard part was not being viewed by the locals, for any one else attempting this on Saturday afternoon watch out for a thousand tennis players.

Took - Miss Piggy
Left - toy car and glass frog

Thanx for the hunt wakiwi

We were patient and waited for the TBs to be within easy reach of us before we went out and got them. We were also pleased to find that we were only 2km away from the cache when we found the second bug. The find was easy and we had no people wandering past to bother us. The container is split so we put it in a big plastic bag we carry for such occasions. We would have put it in a new container but the contents wouldnt have fitted in the boxs we had with us unless we raided most of the contents of the cache. The container will need to be repaced before winter but it should stay dry and safe in the plastic bag until time permits the owner (or the next visitor) to run out and repair it fully. We added 4 refresher towels from Garuda and took out the cowboy and horse figurine.

Great Idea. Took Travel game Left Ptk texas, eeyore keyring notepad and out of space stickers.

Oh WAKIWI the cache is all broken on one end. A few creepy crawlies have taken up residence. May need to replace sometime, thanks for the hunt.

Found after a short search at 11.15am yesterday morning instead of playing tennis. We seem to be finding a lot of travel Bugs lately. After Time Out we logged our find, took a beetle keyring and left a furry crab.

I would like to thank wakiwi for bringing a level to caching in W.A.
This has taken me a week of searching for clues to be able to find the prize
and I have not had this much fun in a while.
I hope this is just the start of new cache adventures.

As the cache is now a week old and no one has found it yet I have added a $10.00 Bunnings voucher for the first finder.
I think someone is zeroing in on it already though.
