The theme of this cache is defunct - the camera is long gone!
As the owners have ignored 4 years of maintenance requests, it is probably time to finish it.
However darthvandal has offered to do maintenance so may also like to take over ownership.

It's gone, Sorry darthvandal but its current location is too close to another traditional ( you found it on 30 Dec) to get past an adoption.

I'm disappointed you've decided to archive the cache, It was literally only a day away from being replaced - camera and all. I'm only waiting for the paint to dry on the cache and it would have been ready to place. (I'm lucky it's not payday until tomorrow, otherwise I'd have already bought the cheap camera I've got my eye on by now!)
Guess I'll have to find somewhere else to put it.

I now have a replacement container, I should have it in place within the next week. Regards, DV.
Dropped in on this one again after finding The Bells. It's still in a sad state of affairs. I'll look at replacing it in the new year with more appropriate container.
This cache was full of water, I still managed to write somewhere in the log without ripping it up
Thanks

Found it ok...but as per the previous logs it is in a very sad state of affairs. It is a little beyond maintenance, but I'll see what I can do in the next week or so. Don't want to see a cache location go to waste!!!!

As per the last few posts, the cache was half in the open and thoroughly soaked.
Found 9.50am
We can only assume that the mushy mess we found at GZ is all that is left of the cache. Having poured a half litre of water out we could barely make out that the lump of congealed paper used to be a log book. Did not bother to try and sign or leave anything. I think it's about time this old cache had some serious TLC.

Cache was damp - dried as best I could. TNLN. Didn't sign the log as I'd managed to lose my pen between the Bells and here!! Pen in cache is no good. Thanks for the cache.
I found this cache 58 seconds after The Bells for a new PB. No camera with me today, plus many say my face is more suited for radio.
Thanks,

Yet another team doing a GC Friday.
This was part of our local cache clean-up (or part there of)
We had previously visited The Bells, and whilst this was nearby, we gave it a miss to come back here again.
We walked nearby, GeoTodd not in the best of moods (a dirty nappy will do that). GeoMum stayed down below whilst GeoDad found the cache @ 4:20.

Found this cache by accident! We were looking for "The Bells" The cache didn't have a camera in it - we were and still are a bit confused. The Log Book said "Photo Shoot".

We found this one while taking our puppy Lucy for a walk. Lots of dead blackberries if you go the wrong way! We took the geocoin and didn't make any other trades.
Visited this cache today, and dropped off the Geocoin, old log was V wet, but rest of contents were Ok, BYO pen.
Left new Cache letter.

Found cache today in a sorry state. Tipped water out. I think a new container is required. Left another fresh log book in a plastic bag as other one soaked.
Great location. We had a pleasant walk to GZ but unfortunately on arrival discovered that the cache has been muggled.
Found container and plastic bag near GZ. The log has had all the pages ripped out and scattered to the wind and contents/swaps obviously taken.
We gathered up all the pages we could find (sodden as they were) and put them back in the bag, then replaced the cache in its hide. It is now in need of some urgent maintenance however.
Left a wizard to help protect it hopefully!
Cheers

This one was a little wet, infact so wet that we couldn't sign the Log. T TB L Glue stick.
Didn’t do enough log reading for this one, so didn’t come prepared with a new log book. The whole cache was also quite damp and despite edmil’s efforts was still taking on water. Otherwise this is a really nice park and a great place for a cache to be. TNLN, put our name on the back page of the log book.

Found at 18:10. Unfortunately this cache reminded me of another cache. the cache has had it and needs some series maintanance, No camera so no photo. I loved the stone water ways at this spot. And another cache so close was a bonus. Thanks for showing me this location.

Third of six Ballarat area caches on my back from the far west. This was the first of the Gong Gong Reservoir twofer. It was an easy find at 1300. The lid of the cache is damaged, and so doesn't seal the container. From the look of the rust, I'd say it has been like this for some time. The contents of the cache are in zip lock bags, so I assume they are OK. (They looked tightly packed, so I didn't take them out of the tin--just grabbed the log book and signed in.) I made no exchange at this one. Thanks to Pyrenees Kid & Mikita for the cache.
found it i felt a little silly all ready being here before and not knowing it was so close no camara but left a mystri ball.
Nice Cache PK.
We have really enjoyed the caches of yours we have done so far.
Keep up the good work.
Took massager and left Digi Corkscrew.
Was handy, being so close to "The Bells", we had a couple of quick finds after spending ages and coming up with nothingg at "M8"

Found this one while visiting relatives near Ballarat. Found with sister Sue and Farmer John. This was Farmer John's first find! What a wonderful time we are having here in Australia! Watch my post as we will be leaving two travel bugs while we are here that I want to get back to America. Took nothing left some American coins.

This was our final cache (8th) for the day in the Ballarat area.
It was after sunset, so we broke out the torches and headed for GZ.
A bit of a hike with 4 year old G hanging on to me with one hand and the torch with the other.
Once we got to GZ however the cache was soon in hand at around 6:10pm.
No camera!
Actually there was nothing in the cache but a log book and the cache container is very wet inside too.

Found this one fairly quickly after visiting The Bells. We were disapointed that the camera wasn't there, but then my ugly mug may have been too much of a shock & broken the lens anyway.

Found 12:05, after a brief search took the last two photo's on the camera and as we were on our way to visit the Pyrenees Kid & Mikita we took the camera to be processed. The Pyrenees Kid advises that a new camera willbe placed in the next couple of days.
thanks Pyrenees Kid & Mikita.

We scampered into this area quickly (we weren't sure how long the gates would be open - or how long it would take us to find the cache). It ended up being not too tricky. We took just one photo in the fading light (we'll be the ones poking our tounges out). There are only around 2 shots left on the camera. The container had a bit of water in it, so we drained it out before rehiding. Thanks Pyrenees Kid and Mikita - it'll be great to see all of the photos developed and up on the site
Found pretty easily by 7 yr old cache queen [:X]. Bit of rust in cache, but contents well sealed and not affected. Photo taken. Thanks for cache.
Found this one after getting the bells, walked back down the hill untill we realised it was up the hill as well. But oh well.
Took pic of us together and one of geo dog Baxter pretending to be the cache in the log lol.
Nice views.

3rd of 7 attempts today in the Ballarat area. Visiting from Pittsburgh, PA, USA and traveling around Victoria. This was a very nice park and the walk around the trails and up by the reservoir was extremely pleasant. Took photo of myself, which was #10, I think. Thanks for placing the cache here!
I found this one shortly after finding The Bells. The previous visitor who came on 10 March (I think) couldn’t work the camera and thought that it was broken. It wasn’t, but the wind on mechanism was a bit stuck. It should be okay now. I took 3 photos to record my visit. As I was alone and I was pointing the camera at myself for 2 of them, I’m not sure how they’ll turn out.
Joe and I should have found this cache when we came to Mission Possible, but somehow we managed not to. I guess it’s better 6 months late than never.
The container for this cache is leaking. While its lid is extremely difficult to get off (without the appropriate equipment – I eventually needed a trip to the car to get something to remove it) the water seems to be getting in somehow. The bag contaning the logbook is a little wet and the camera is dry at present. I’m not sure how the situation will change though when this region finally gets some rain…
Thanks Pyrenees Kid & Mikita,
Peter

After completing a nearby cache we hurried to this one with about 20 minutes before the gates were shutting. Found easily but unfortunately the contents had been wet.

Found this one in the company of Kiwideb and Alan-san. They had just done 'The Bells' and there was a bit of a desperate dash to see who could find this one first. It was quickly located and retrieved. Unfortunately some water leaked in so Kiwideb and Alan-san dried it out while I made my log entry in the book.
Once logged by all, we proceeded to take a couple of photos, trying to fit all three heads in - I don't know how good my aim is. Hopefully, each of us will appear in at least one of the two photos taken. Just in case, we tried again with my own camera.

Found at 10:30am with Muzza and Kiwideb. We found that water had leaked into the cache container and was now black coffee. I happy to say the bagged contents were still dry. So as Muzza stood by talking on his phone Kiwideb and I dried out the cache and took care of that side of things. Not long after the three of us knocked headed for the photo shoot, see Muzza's description below. The cache has been replaced upsidedown on a slight tilt to hopefully remain dry. TB i! Geoffrey has decided to join is for the days adventure.
Just finished The Bells and decided to make a dash for this one. 1030 Muzza beat Alansan and I by _____ that much . No swap made but we did manage to take a few photos with the camera from the cache and also with Muzza's Digital camera. Managed to squeeze in our 3 heads. See Muzza's log for our photo's.

In the fading light in the freezing cold, Quasar, Lasercat and Skyfox found this one as a preparation the night before Mission Possible. Ballarat is known for being cold, but this was COLD! Took two photos of us shivering in the rain before driving into Ballarat for tea.
Found this one with stumpy of Stumpyspud while we finished off final last minute touches to the event on Sunday. Something was wrong with the coords and Darryn and I have yet to work out what. Keep in mind that the coords above have changed. Great idea for a cache Darryn
