Checked at lunchtime today and it's definitely missing (ironically so is the nearby "gnarly" tree which has recently been removed). RIP BG2L.
My sister just talked us into geocaching (she celebrated her 100th find in the US) and so we tried to find our first today - but no luck. Fairly sure we had the right spot, as the clue led us to one place, but we couldn't find anything. For now I'll chalk it up to us being too new at this and hope we have better luck on our second try.
Will try back on this one after a few finds, considering we live about 10 minutes away only.

This was one of my first caches, under the supervision of master hguo, who's introducing me in this new world!

No problems. There should be more of these in Hamilton, the city is full of nice spots that I'd like to be fooled into visiting!
Found with Surgez & Dysentry. An easy find, a really good location. On a rather warm day. Cheers

Easy Find.
Lovely quiet spot in the heart of the CBD
The clue gives it away for sure.
Nothing in-nothing out

It was harder to find a carpark than the cache. My first trip to Hamilton and my first Hamilton cache. I wish I had more time to look around.

Quick check (it's handy working so close). Cache is still there - will drop in a few more trading goodies in the next day or so.
Hmmm - how come everyone found this easy and we didn't find it at all??? Never mind - on a flying visit through Hamilton so may be a while before we try again.

It wasn't till I was wandering around the locality that the naming of this cache struck me. Very clever [^]
Nice and quiet this morning; successful retrieval and replacement free of muggies.

Great day for a walk, made it a quick one we didn't want our car towed away. Not easy finding a park.
Nil in and nil out.
Next person needs to take a pencil, sorry we didn't have one to leave.
Thanks.

Feeling frustrated at having missed this one yesterday so went back after reading the clue and got straight onto it this time! We were certainly very close with our search the day before.

Decided to do a few caches on way back home from a friends wedding in Rotorua. This last of the day. (4 of 4). Went to get the TB that was ment to be here but Boges had not logged his visit or the TB find so it was almost a wasted visit. Took out sticky lollypops (geocache + food = mistake).

Nice easy find. Nothing out. Zeebloo travel bug in. Zeebloo just returned from a trip to Nth Vietnam with me and my family. Had a great time. Too many people there to find a safe place to cache anything.

You're right about it being easy. Did not know this walk way existed. Another place I would never have gone without geocaching.

Tried to explain geocaching to my flatmates and they didn't get it. So I got them to do a cache and they loved it. Nice walk along the river to.
Well hidden cache in the middle of town. No problem with muggles - but the guy on the lawn mower was suspicious! Nothing in - nothing out.
Thank you for a lovely walk. Used the clues for an easy find. Took Muppet and left tape measure.
Thanks

When we drove pass bryce things started to make sense, the etrex was close again but had to use the clue. Silvafox just in front of us and had left us some goodies. Time for a coffee
Nice little jaunt and close to our favourite coffee outlet. Dropped Merv in for a change in scenery. Took out flower seeds, dice and chalk. Placed tissue pack and happy stone.
Found this one but an hour from when KaimaiKid was here - had the in-laws to be over from Australia so it was a good chance to show them what geocaching was all about. Liked the cache, and yep be careful of bystanders. Cache was hidden in a great place.
Left fridge magnet, took batteries..

Went looking yesterday (16th) but Muggle with beer in hand (10am) kept leaning on the fence, right by the [zrgny pnc]!! Will return another day!
Came back today...found it!
Had nothing to leave so (except GPS or car keys!) left nothing & took nothing, but got wet in downpour!!

Found cache!
I used Topo Maps and it told me it was on the wrong side of the river. [:(!]
My day off so went to look for it, I was lucky it was a tuesday and all Muggles where at school or at work.
Take a bicycle and do the whole track if you have time (it is a long way.)[^]
