Out and about on a Narrogin with Raymac picking up a few caches.found cache, empty- bits scattered everywhere Didnt have any spares with me Contacted the ownerThankyou to Drogger for placing Yilliminning rock for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 11:19This is find number 448 for meTFTC
Easily spotted when we got to GZ. There were numerous flies in the shade so once they were scared off I sat down and grabbed the cache only to find d the bottom is broken and everything fell out. Also needs a logbook as there are just numerous peices of paper floating around in the container. Some tape may hold the container together but didn't have any on hand.TFTC
Sitting at home in Victoria about 2 - 3 weeks ago and I noticed an article about WAGB.
I had heard of it before and checked out the dates for it and thought to myself that that is do able for me.
Airfares and car rental booked then posted my will attend to all of them.
I then worked out some accommodation and here I am for my first WAGB weekend and a few extra days as well.
After the walk up to the top of Yilliminning Rock and taking in the magnificent views t found this one on the way back down.
Thanks drogger TFTE.

Find # 8,169 for me on 4 June 2023 at 9:15 am.
Today we looked around Narrogin, did some Adventure Labs and some of the caches placed around the town. This is one of the caches I found with PamJ.
Found with a group of cachers. Unfortunately the lid has disintegrated.
Thanks Drogger, for giving back to the game.

Dragged myself out of bed early to grab a coffee in town then headed here for a nearby event. Gathered on top of the rock then made a quick find here because there was a large gathering at gz. I'm sure its been mentioned many a time today but cache needs a new bottom. Tftc
Day 4 of the WAGB 23 weekend. Caching between committee commitments and now starting to wear bags under my eyes - but its all in the name of fun! Many thanks to everyone involved in making this weekend a success. Many thanks Drogger for placing this hide for me to find and adding to an awesome weekend at WAGB23. This will be my 6418 find.
Day three of the WAGB long weekend . The aim of the day for TaurusSix and I was the head to the morning event and then do a big circle in that general direction taking in Wickepin . Giving there have been so many new caches placed we are spoilt for choice, which is a great thing and we are very grateful to all the CO who have contributed to making this weekend fabulous. The morning walk up Yilliminning Rock was fabulous , very chilly but once the sun was fully out almost felt like a lizard lapping up the rays of sunshine. Once the crowds had dispersed after the drone photo and headed in all direction , we kept bumping into geocachers wherever we went all day which was nice. All in all another great day geocaching and a fabulous weekend of events.

Sunday at WAGB started with a MICKS Crew breakfast before heading to the first event of the day at Yilliminning Rock before heading back into Narrogin to checkout the airfield and show the kids some of the places of my childhood.
After a short lunch break I walked through town collecting mainly lab caches and a few others that crossed my path.
Enjoyed chatting to a few people about caching before a great meal with friends.
Once all the kids were down decided to race out to Williams to pick up a couple of new caches before heading home to rest up before heading home tomorrow.
After the late night run I’d accumulated 10 finds, 40 adventure labs, 2 events attended and 0 DNF’s.

Narrogin Day 5 & day 3 of WAGB
Another big day, early morning event at Yilliman Rock, a full day of caching then an event with a fantastic meal at the end of the day.
Today we also found a variety of caches with the last one of the day a night fishing cache.
FP for getting me to the top of the rock, great views of the surrounding area.
Thankyou to the CO's for placing these caches.

Down in Narrogin for a weekend of some serious caching and event attending. Teamed up with AlliedOz, Kyzabra, Rokadz & The_Fitzys for the most part and ended up with 90 odd smilies over the three days.
Found with a group on the way down. Always good to claim the smiley on a cache that has lasted the test of time.
Drogger I found your cache at 9:04am, this was the 3rd of 40 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 7926. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

In Narrogin for WAGB 2023, ullyssia, Photo-Play and I teamed up today to find as many caches as possible in and around town. We either signed as "P U P-P" or as our individual caching names. The weather held up for most of the day and it was nice to run into many other caching teams throughout the day. Thank you very much to the organising committee and volunteers for an enjoyable weekend!

Visiting from the east and heading to the WAGB event and caching along the way and at the event and areas around Narrogin then on to Kulin and back to Perth via a quick visit to Albany. Thanks to all the various COs for placing caches (or EC and virtuals) for us to locate, learn and explore. Signing as Team East+2.
Down in Narrogin for the 10th anniversary of WA Goes Big! What a relief it is being away from the city for a few nights. As expected it was a busy weekend of caching and this meant driving to all corners of the shire and beyond. Picked up plenty of cache and hopefully will be back soon to clear off the rest of the map. Thanks to West Oz Geocaching for a great weekend of events!
Our second day of caching out and about in the local area with geo friends. (To save space on the log sheets, we are signing as Team East+2)
All caches we found today were in good condition and a credit to all the COs who placed them. Thank you

Great spot, top cache. Container lid is damaged but cache is well protected. Fav point for the view.
Out and about again, a hot day, jumping in and out of the car and enjoying the aircon. Hit the country mainly around Narrogin locality.
Found a variety of hides and in different areas which made for a nice day. Generally quick finds today
Thanks to all the CO’s for the hides I found.

Out for a drive today east of Narrogin, racking up some kilometres on the dash. Started off by heading through Boundain to Yilliminning Rock. Then through Tincurrin and Harrismith to get to Jitarning, where I stopped in to say hello to burns345. I was then on my way to Kulin, where I bumped into ebenie out caching. This was a chance and lucky encounter, and very fortunate, because at the cache I bumped into them at, they were unable to start their car. Gave ebenie a lift into Kulin, where I continued the journey through to Corrigin. The final leg of the day was back through Yealering and Wickepin to Narrogin. All in all, a solid day that racked up a few dozen finds.
Really happy to knock off this older cache in this ripper spot. The cache’s lid is finished with. We have an event here in June. If the cache isn’t replaced by then, I’ll endeavour to bring a new one down. Cheers Drogger!
Join me at the 10th anniversary of WAGB in Narrogin on Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June 2023. There’ll be plenty of geocaching fun to be had, I can’t wait to see you there!

Kapelula, Meme28 and I C Nothing are once again hitting the roads for another geoadventure. This weekend we are heading to Kulin to turn some solved puzzles into smilies but along the way we will be finding many more as we pass through. A weekend full of laughs and adventure awaits. Logged as Mik. Cache found in good condition.
Spectacular view! Signed as MIK for Meme28 ICNothing and Kapelula! An oldie on our radar on our two day tour of the wheatbelt area!
This one has been on our radar for a while. Glad to finally have the time to get out here. TFTH!
Thought it was time for a road trip with I C Nothing and Meme28, so we packed the car and headed off to Kulin and the surrounding areas. Logs signed as MIK.

Heading to Kulin to conquer the THH series, picked up a few caches along the way. Even managed a first to find on the way home. Thanks to the CO’s for placing and maintaining these caches.
Was driving past so we stopped to get this cache. Mr OOH YEH did the climb to get the cache and once at GZ it was quickly found TFTC
We are locals and to be fair had a pretty good idea where it was hence it was the first one we went to.
Live this spot. Easy climb & great find for the kids. Paper is messy in the cache.
Found 2hil3 walking with some co-workers showing me around! Got here just beforesunset after a roundabout way here through bad directions lol. TFTC
Cache was quite exposed and interestingly enough a strange entry into the log book by clearly a non cacher. None of the Travel Bugs that were listed as being in there, where there, so left the two I had in my possession.
Great spot. A fairly easy and lovely walk up the rock. There used to be a lot of lizards here until people took all the flat granite rocks away and they lost their hideouts and homes. Saw 6 lizards over the whole rock today.
We BOTH hiked up to the rock on a rock & after catching our breath admired the views before locating the cache & signing the log. No deep nasty holes to negotiate, so perhaps it has been moved. Left an unusual TB. TFTC drogger
Day 2 of the Holland Track Adventure
This trip had been on my 'Wish List' for some years
The problem was Logistics
I had to get the timing right...…….So many Variables!
Weather
The best time of year is after winter to avoid the very worst of the cold and wet, and before the weather gets too hot in summer
We were very fortunate to get nice warm sunny days and mild nights with no rain, the track was mostly dry and the deep mud puddles could easily be skirted around on dry tracks
Company
I did not want to tackle the track on my own as my vehicle is not fully set up for hard core 4 wheel driving, no winch or high lift kit which would be advisable, especially after rain
Luckily I found a group of other geocachers who were planning to tackle the track and I quickly agreed to join in the group
Today was the day
After spending many hours the previous afternoon removing all my work tools and other stuff out of my vehicle and packing in all my camp gear, I was ready to go early in the morning
Stopping to fill up with fuel on my way out of town then continuing on to pick up my passenger Mistraluna
While we had discussed a rough plan of finding caches on the way to Hyden I was not prepared for the coming adventure that this day would prove to become
Luckily we had all day today and tomorrow to get to Hyden where we would meet up with the other members of our party
On the way we stopped to top up with fuel and headed for our first cache of the day
From the fuel station we drove east to Pinjarra then on Pinjarra - Williams road, through Dwellingup, continuing east until we reached the power line road just past East Boundary rd. We made a left turn here and started heading north
The road was quite good and I did not need to use 4 wheel drive
I was thrilled to see a great number and variety of wild flowers along the roadside which I had not seen before
Our journey continues
Cache 13
Heading east on Yillminning road we came to our next stop
I enjoyed stopping here to inspect the rock formation and the views from the top were spectacular in all directions.
A quick find and log of the cache then a bit of a look around before heading off again

Trackable Voyage de Noce was not in this cache
This trackable was dropped in the cache 30 May 2017 and has not been logged since
It was probably picked up by another cacher and not been logged
I hope it turns up but in the meantime could you please log as missing to stop it showing in the cache inventory
Thanks Mark

Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately, with two trips to Borneo in the past few months, followed straight after by the WA Goes BIG 2018 event down in Dunsborough without even unpacking my bags properly. It was while helping out at the BIG event that I was lucky enough to hear about an upcoming geocaching adventure tackling the Holland Track, an experience I thought I would never be able to be part of, being a single woman without a real 4wd of my own. But the planets aligned for me that weekend and the offer was extended by SeabreezeOZ that I was more than welcome to come along. And of course I just had to say yes, yes, yes!!
So the wheels were set into motion, and yesterday was the first day of our grand adventure. We got as far as Gnaala Mia Campsite in the Dryandra Woodland before running out of daylight. As expected, the night time temperature out there was very cold, but at least we didn't get rained on. After packing up and hitting the road again, we picked off a few other caches in the area before heading over towards Narrogin and doing the same. The day was getting away from us and we still had quite a few km left to cover, so it was time we headed in the direction of Hyden, our intended overnight spot. We soon found ourselves in the vicinity of this cache, and we enjoyed the walk from the information sign up to gz to find the cache. This was the first of many inselbergs we would visit and climb over the coming week. All good with the cache which we found, signed, replaced before exploring the locale a bit further. Great location.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for the rest of us to come and find Drogger.
