I called by this evening to check for the cache. Unfortunately, the place where is was hidden has now been capped with metal. I presume the workmen disposed of it at the time. Cache will now be archived. (I suspect it would no longer meet current requirements anyway). Thanks to all who have looked for and found it.

Had a try for this one with Robmc but no good. That's what I rang you about actually Muzza and after you rang me back my phone went flat. Thanks for returning my call anyway.

Attempted this one with NEXT! @ 09:58. We could not find it despite a thorough search of both ends of the structure. I felt like a monkey as climbed all over the thing. It really gave my fear of heights a something to work with, oh nelly, don't look down.TwistedTwisted
Climbed up and looked on top of the vertical things, found a couple of nasty looking spider who didn't want visitors but no cache.[xx(]

09:58 Searched for about hour! Not on or in structure. Did a thourough going over with Scooters Mob... maybe good to check if it is still there. Noted that some work has been done around the area and maybe a railway worker wasn't as nice as the last Wink

Oh, I got to see a diesel version of Puffing Billy and got a wave and a smile from both the train driver and the guard.

This one may have disappeared. Try at your own risk.

Will try to get out there soon to check.

Melways indicates a road most of the way to this one but trust me - it is not there! Walked beside the railway track along an easy foot pad on the northern side until gz and then the clue made the find quite easy in the daylight. Didn't record my swap. Thanks Muzza. The train was operating but I didn't see it.

This one had me tricked in many ways !!Firstly no logs since feb 17 ..umm 5.00pm now,semi-darkness and about 7 degrees.Parked at a level crossing and saw the trek was about 500m ,couldnt find a bush track so walked on the train-line the whole way !Rounding a bend, coming the other way on the track was a guy walking his ,we passed on the track and a casual goodday occurred even though the signs say track walkers prosecuted !!Walked over the bendy high bridge and darkness was setting in.Settled in for a search and slipped and slid 5 m down the damp slope !!After the brush up ,moved around and searched but couldnt find ....umm.Is it here at all ?...Looked up and 100m away walking across the bridge in the semi-dark was a man and i could see he had a GPS and paperwork. He got closer and he introduced himself as Phil as the Nutcache team !After a brief talk we teamed up a searched this end-but zip !Then tried to work out west-clue,but no sun now so thought we would try opposite end.WE hit the new area ,here-there and after a few minutes Phil found the well hidden stash truly well hidden !!We had a great cache talk and couldnt believe how you can go for months and not see another cacher-but we bumped into each other on a bridge 20 m up in the air,in a forest ,5.00pm in near darkness and at this spot considering last finder was feb 17 !!Anyway had a great challenge here, enjoyable rail walk ,good cache chat and truly good adventure .!!Thanks to the Coffee Scroll muncher for the adventure and cache ...TNLN.

It was good to finally meet Greg from The Farmers 5 at this cache. Both our GPSrs took us to the wrong side of the bridge to start with then changed their minds later. The cache was well hidden and some agility needed to retrieve itSurprised. We had a good chat on the way back about some of the caches we had done recently and a few hints given for finding themWink. TNLN thanks Muzza.

The GPS did not want to play at this one, so I resorted to the clue. It was a great structure and we walked all over it with many photos.
Took: Mondo, Left: Wombat
Thanks, Robmc.

Had a bit of fun with this one - had memorized the route to take, but put the wrong wp into the GPSr (put in Huff'nPuff #6) and ended up doing a bit of a Cook's Tour until we ran out of road Smile. It didn't cost us too dearly fortunately and we were soon back at the level crossing where our walk started. It was a lovely stroll in the late afternoon along the train line and a bit of excitement to retrieve the cache after we located it by using the clue. I must say that I wouldn't like to be caught doing this retrieval in an urban area - as it was, a trio of young trail bikers asked us what we were up to, and I told them we were just examining the bridge. If they'd been older I would have felt compelled to come up with a better explanation but they were probably not supposed to be riding there anyway and they soon left.

TNLN (I was just happy to log it in place without taking it away for a decent examination of the contents Smile.

Thanks again Muzza

Great area, found the hiding spot OK. Took room freshener and left stapler. Thanks Muzza a very enjoyable area.

Headed of to this cache after doing treasure bucket, then decided would be better to see if we could drive a bit closer. After driving a little while, managed to get about 100m closer, but the walk was going to be a lot more level. With darkness ariving near the cache location foud the GPS not being very accurate. Had to back travel a little bit, and started the search, but came up empty handed. Resorted to the clue and had another search in a slightly different spot. Lucky I had a torch with me.

TNLN.

... and so how many times per week do we go to the gym, muzza??? Wow, what a sensational location for a cache. And what about that MO, was that a fluke or more pure muzza magic?

With EuDes herself becoming a tad restless, the clue had to be read but even so, a very good Geko had me right at the spot anyway. The find was at 13:20, the retrieve, well ...

Left a stretchy hippo for a Flying Doctor's sticker (out).

Thanks for another beauty Muzza.

Hints for Young Players #3: Make sure you have put your swap in before you replace the cache, especially for a hard retrieve Red Face (triple d'oh)

Found at 2pm 1st out of 5 for the day.

After digging holes for my own cache I discovered there was a cache not to far from here. Only a 600 metre walk away actually. So I decided on doing this one. But I thought darn. I'd better put my shovel back in my car before they think I am crazy. So I drove to the crossing nearby and walked next to the track from there. The Co ords were close to perfect. And I saw the cache within seconds. A very good hiding spot, but it would be hard for people like my parents to get at it. hehe thats why they dont usually come caching. But thanks for taking me to a fantastic part of the track. No muggles around today.

Out with caughtatwork, after finally figuring out which cache we were chasing ( refer caughtatworks log ) we arrived and went for a stroll. Obviously he had read the hint as my GPSr led me astray. Oh well a short walk back to the cache which he had spotted and I had to retrieve ( cool spot ). Did the log, piccy thing and replaced the cache. Nice area for a stroll.

Thanks

We decided it was a nice day for caching in the Dandenongs, so Uncle Jiffy along with my two daughters and I left for a fun day out in the sticks.
We took longer to find the way into the cache area than we did looking for the cache. It seems that we were trying to get to #6 by the roads, but #4 by the GPSr. I take full responsibility for being an idiot this time.
Once we worked out what we were doing, we found the best way into the cache area, taking heed of the signage that sent us the long way around.
As we approach GZ, the GPSr still had 40-50 meters to go, but rather than trust the GPSr, G, J and I decided to hunt here, while Uncle Jiffy went over there.
J and I found the cache a few moments later and Uncle Jiffy was back to do the logging thing.
Took shell and koala, left koala and jaguar.
Thanks for the cache Muzza. It indeed an area that I have never been to before, but very much enjoyed.

Found at 3:25pm. After just opening her mouth to say that fording the creek wouldn't be a problem due to lack of water, Mrs Alsume promptly stood on a wobbly rock and landed ingloriously in the drink! Fortunately nothing much hurt but her pride. A tricky hide, but found after few minutes at GZ.

Took US 5c
Left magnetic frame

thanks muzza

Found at 4.05pm after we were convinced that someone had taken it away. Glad the train didn't come past while we were there. Took: Pulling strings, Left: Clip on koala.
Thanks muzza.

Out for a pleasant stroll with a friend who's just bought a block in Gembrook; she actually spotted the cache. Shouldn've paid more attention to the clue! I'll be back with her next visit to find the remainder in this lovely area.

Really like this one - made it to the bridge without any problems, no trains or muggles about, managed to retrieve the cache without to many problems - although I'll probably be sore tomorrow - TNLN

After a lot of looking in the wrong spots finaly found. Didn't have the cache sheet so no clue. On getting the cache a muggle walked over the brigde and I was very quiet so as not to gain attention. That worked and even her dog didn't see me. That out of the way loging and swaps were done and the cache was repacked. On replacing the cache unfortunatly I droped it and it landed with a crash and the muggle I had avoided previously was now comeing back. I was sprung. So I picked up the cache and headed off casualy and took it for a 15 min walk then returned and rehid it. I think I shall have to go shoping as the cache now has a big crack in it[:i].

Thanks Muzza

Very interesting find, Thanks Muzza for this cache it reminds me of the more popular puffing billy bridge down the road. I think I will come back to this when the train is running and get a few photos.
Left some stickers, temp tattoos and Cloth badge. Taken nothing.
Thanks again Muzza

We were mislead by the "Bridge Track" sign and ended up at the wrong bridge. It was easy to wander along the railway track to the right bridge. After a quick search we were interrupted by some people who proceeded to walk over the bridge. One of them admitted that it was dangerous but defended that on the basis that they were locals. They also drew our attention to the TV that someone had thrown off the bridge at the highest point to see what happened. It seemed like a lot of effort to cart a TV there for such a stupid reason. When they had gone, the search (took a bit longer than expected) revealed the cache which was then retrieved with some difficulty at about 3:15pm. Took some playing cards and pull-string fireworks and left an "Eternity" keyring. The cache was returned to its location just before Puffing Billy reappeared.

After a couple of wrong turns which lead to places we would not go again, we were on the right track, but stopped at the wrong bridge. Trust the distance on the GPS is all I can say! Took some time to find once we were at the right bridge because we were looking at the very first support, and lucky Hubby is tall as it is not for short persons. Took the craft paint and left a plastic shell and sea-horse.

Found at 12:30pm. On our way back from a visit out this direction, we plugged in the co-ordinates but didn't turn on the GPS'r till almost too late. Just before it picked up satellites, I had turned off on a side road and ended up by good luck facing exactly towards where we needed to go.

A pleasant and easy walk. Your "as mentioned onlookers" passed us on the way followed by a converted utility pretending to be a huff.

The co-ordinates were pointing about 12m away so we needed the clue. Even with it, it was a tough find and I originally didn't look there because of the low two star difficulty rating. I didn't know that there was a second one of these structures out here so it was well worth the visit.

Thanks Muzza, from D,H,K,H & A B-A

Left koosh ball, took toy.

Number 5 on a overcast, rainy but enjoyable day with Vombatus. After not being able to find the original Huff and Puff #4. back in November (Had old paperwork and didn't know it had been moved) We were keen to get it this time. Closed in on GZ as old Huff and Puff chuffed by full of happy faces. Found this one in about 5 minutes. Vombatus also found some very friendly leeches (wasn't he lucky).
Took SmallParachute Man.
Left Pull Strings.
Thanks Muzza, great cache in a great spot.

Number six for the day with Team Crackers.

You've got to love the train. Cool

Great spot, who would have expected!!

Took Grasshopper - Left my poker hand from the Summer Fiesta (Pair of threes)

I’ll huff & I’ll puff #4 version 2. (2 big bugs 2 medium sized bugs)
Our 3rd in the huff & puff series for the day and it brought back happy memories of walking along here when our children were babies with our dogs before the huff & puff facility was rebuilt for the public. We watched the mobile tourist attraction go past again for the day and my daughter Karen waved to the public with the green frog hand puppet she got from last weekends (it aint easy being green cache by Team Frogger and 2 Tadpoles)
The public loved being waved at by a green frog.
We found the cache after solving the hint due to erratic gps co-ords.
We took some foreign coins, an anklet and a key chain.
We left a parachute man, some stickers, a plastic grasshopper and ant.
Regards, Andrew “Da Big Bugâ€Â

TeamActioncow! - guest starring the 4 footed duo Bella and Teddy found this cache today at 5 pm. Our second Huff and Puff cache today. This one was great fun! Narny found it pretty quick and I did the shimmy to get to it. Took me a long time to work out just the right way to do it. This cache was not very short fat person friendly. Lots of people walking around this time of day, far too slowly, had to waste lots of time waiting for them to go on their way. No swap made as we wanted to get it back in its hidey hole before the next walkers came along. Still no sign of Puffing Billy, maybe he was having the day off. Thanks Muzza for the great cache Smile

This is the third of five Huff 'n' Puff caches for me today. This one is a really enjoyable cache, and a nice walk through the bush to get to it.

I've come to the conclusion that there are two caches at this site: the one that I found, and the one that kiwideb found without her feet leaving the ground. Smile I must have looked straight at the cache, but didn't see it. After my feet had well and truly left the ground, I located and snaffled the cache.

IN: US, Japanese, and Malaysian coins.
OUT: nothing

Found by a tadpoleless Team Frogger, who were very impressed by the hiding spot, very snug fit. While in the USA, we noticed some of their caches had "American Handicapped Association" approval, somehow we don't think this one would qualify Wink
Took jigsaw blades, left incense cones

Thanks for the cache Muzza, you do keep us cache-monkeys happy.

17-Nov-03
Don't know how Kiwideb's feet never left the ground for this one. She must have powers of telekinesis! Had to decrypt the clue, and then located the cache OK. As for getting to it...well it was rather awkward, but I made it. Couldn't take my bag of swapping things, so took and left nothing. Thanks Muzza.

16-Nov-03
Searched for about an hour on this one. We were using the old coordinates from a previously printed page but this should not have made that much difference as we searched the entire area. I don't know if it was the leeches sucking too much blood or just old eyes. After the ease of the other three I was almost convinced it must not be there any more Have since downloaded the corect coordinates and a new hint,(which would not have helped as I thought I went over every spot possible). After reading the last posts we will be return.
Thank for a fun afternoon anyway.

Cache found easily, a novel hiding spot, full marks to the gangers.

Found 14:40, the GPS was not being helpful so the good offices of the Maccamob help line were called upon, and with a few subtle hints the cache was found. Took Miss Piggy and left a small pot of paint. Thanks Muzza for another excuse to visit this area.

28-Sep-03
Found by Mary & David at 1445. A nice walk in from the car park, arriving at GZ just in time to see the local attraction pass by on its way east, complete with a mini-horde of onlookers. Spotted the cache after they left, then worked out how to get at it. Took tape measure, left curling ribbon and a Smile key ring. Thanks for a different look at PB, Muzza.

I spent most of my time slipping and sliding around looking for this cache. Nearly gave up looking after 20 mins. I had left my paper work in the car. Happy to say 5 mins after defeat I found it. Happy to say my feet never left the ground to retrieve or replace this cache. Took a bit of time but I did it Smile
Found at 0840 swapped a car smelly thing for post-it-notes.
Thanks Muzza for the cache and great walk.

Our second virgin cache for the day and our fourth overall. This is the most precarious position Pete has had to get into so far to retrieve a geocache. Great spot Muzza. I’ve included our co-ordinates for comparison to Muzza’s – he has gone to more trouble to work his out though. We made no exchange.
