Mummy helped me find it, and it's taken ages for Daddy to get around to logging the cache for me.
It's been almost a month since I posted my NM log with no response from the CO. I even emailed them about it as it looks like they come from overseas. No response that way either. This cache is in a bad way so I guess it's time to flag it for possible archiving. It's located in a really pretty spot so I hope maintenance is performed soon!
We were doing a fundraising barbeque near here, so I took a Venturer and Geokid up to see if we could find the cache.
The track wasn't really pram friendly, but we got there.
The GPSr bounced around heaps and we resorted to the clue to find the cache.
When we did, we found the lid had cracked and the cache was full of water, so we couldn't sign the log.
We put the cache back upside down so it would have a chance to dry out.

This cache really needs a new log and new container. The log was sodden and the container was cracked.

One false start to find a way in but I soon found a path leading in the right direction. Arrived in the general area of GZ but my GPSr was showing around 10m accuracy. I looked in an obvious spot but no cache was found. I resorted to the hint and on my way to where it indicated I came across the container. Although it had some bark and sticks over it, it was basically out in the open. Not quite where I would place it. I suspect it may have suffered from some cache creep. I noticed the crack in the lid and opening it up I discovered a sodden mess. Although the logbook was intact, it was saturated and impossible to sign. This cache is in need of some serious maintenance immediately, in fact, a complete replacement! Despite what I found, the area in which is hidden is a little gem and I thank ToolkiT for bringing me here with this hide.

Beautiful walk today even though it has been pouring rain. Thongs were a very poor choice even though it was only a short trek. Cache needs maintenance, log is soaked and seems like it is because there is a crack in the lid. Great spot for a cache tftc!
16/02/13 5:25 PM. Cache #442. Current streak: 160 days. Easy find in a patch of hidden wilderness in suburbia. As others have mentioned, this cache needs maintenance - while it wasn't completely full of water, the log book was totally saturated and in the process of turning into a pulpy mess. So I've photographed the lid as evidence of my find. TFTC }:)
Found cache but is filled with water. Couldn't write on log book. Whole thing smelled of old milk.
Nice bush walk. Cache lid has a crack so there is a bit of moisture in it. Dried it out as best I could. SL TFTC
Nice walk and good description. Cache needs attention. Had water in it as the top is cracked
Found this with only my car gps today. Took a bit of circle work because of that. Great piece of bush, it smelt a bit sewer-y today. Quite an old cache, coming up to 10 years.

The last cache of my night caching run with GeoSon and GeoDog. Was wandering around the bushland a bit, looking for objects that matched the hint, with the gps flickering around erratically. In the end, we spotted a typical bushland camo pile, and signed the log.

It took a while but I found it! I hadn't been here since I was a child - great location.
Entered by the River Rd West entrance and was soon zipping along the creek. At the right moment I turned up the hill and was looking for the items mentioned in the clue when I noticed the cache right at my feet! Thanks ToolkiT.
A nice spot with a nice stream nearby. Introduced my cousin to geocaching. TFTC
What a lovely pocket of rainforest with a stream running through it. If only I had better shoes - I had to resort to bare feet - not fun. Techno Marksman and I initiated a new geocacher today so a great first for them. a quick find once we read the hint as the GPS was pointing us to a spot over 10m away. TFTC
I was getting dark and I was llooking in wrong stop eventually I found it YAY!
I went along to this cache with brand new member Aekadi and thought it was quite a nice location and overall just a pleasant cache. The weather was terrible and it was getting dark so this find almost became a did not find, but luckily Aekadi's sharp geocaching eyes spotted the cache.
Also my new geocaching hardware works like a charm! TFTC!

It was quite windy when palmereldritch and I went but it was a very enjoyable walk and fun finding the cache.
Didn't use GPS - more of a challenge. Just followed clue then stopped thinking it must be around here somewhere, looked down and there it was beside my feet. I hadn't been able to see it as I approached though. Don't think many people come on this side of the track.
Log is completely full including the cover, needs replacing. Managed to squeeze my mark on but no room for anyone else.

Took a detour on my way home... Maybe not the best idea only equipped with business shoes after getting back from work interstate lol!
Well these shoes have been in the bush before and it wasn't that bad I had to go for the PAF here I must admit!
Great bit of urban bush, great old cache, awesome fun. TFTC!

I'd ventured in to near GZ a long while back when a bushcare group was in the area so couldn't search. Today I returned and expected a reasonably quick find given recent logs and the good clue. Well would you believe that I went to what I thought would be GZ by the GPSr and the clue and looked high and low after first searching the likely spot when I arrived. I didn't find anything that looked to be a good hiding place so expanded the search high and low until I found myself 20-30 metres from GZ which I knew was too far.
Went for the PAF who didn't answer then I returned to the area I first searched and walked straight up to it, it was just about in plain sight but could I see it? If I'd walked a couple of metres to the right when I first arrived I would have tripped over it! Camo was a bit weak but if I couldn't see then how could a muggle?
Signed and replaced. All quiet here in this beautiful patch of bush on a gorgeous sunny winter's day.
Thanks!

Quick dash in and find after a party in the area to fill a calendar date. Came in from College rd North, crossed the creek and walked straight up to it. Nice piece of urban bush indeed and great to see such an old cache in great condition. TNLN SL TFTC
What a great piece of urban bush. Followed the arrow but nothing looked promising. Of course, gullies are often unreliable places for reception. Read the clue and baktrakked about 10m where I saw a familiar hide. Dropped a GC. Log is 110% full. TFTC
Should have been quick but it was getting dark and GPS was jumpy.
But with the clue it was easier.
Great little park, wouldn't have come here without geocaching (though saying that when I was a muggle I didn't go bushwalking very far from home at all!) TFTC
Rescued trackable as this isn't found that often.
oh and log is full.

I had the same experience as stokoefamily and found it on the way down. SL, dropped a TB and a music CD took green froggy torch thingy. TFTC
Lovely spot. So tranquil. Watch out for rocks by stream they are a bit slippery. Doh!
There are so many crafty places this could have been hidden. In the end I almost tripped over it going uphill but didn't notice it until coming down hill! Tftc point for the park.

No possible to find if is snow, but... when the last time have being snow in Sydney? J-LEST-TEAM
I believe I found the tree mentioned in the hint, but saw no trace of the cache. I have to admit, though, that I curtailed my search because of all the spider webs I was running into. Not too many people walk that way, apparently.
A nice spot by the creek. The GZ coords were a little off. Picked up the Notorious coin. TFTC
Lovely quiet spot in the bush. Took red/blue man, left bright-eyed green man. sl which is now full. tftc
14th Cache collected on my "40 Clicks and 40 Caches for Tim's 40th" big day out. A nice easy find. The link below may be of some interest. TFTC.

After a bit of searching found it early this morning while walking the dog. I did not know this track existed. Lovely piece of bush.
#380 I started my walk to this cache from River Rd West. The creek was very dry, and the track is becoming a bit difficult to follow. I veered left too early and crossed the dry creek. I then saw the path on the other side of the creek after a while so I went back there. Then I realized the GPSr points back to where I came from. Saw the big fallen tree, and a little climb up the slope and spotted the Geo-"hide". Not really sure if it's still a camo, but it's quite obvious sticks don't just group themselves together. And I can also say that for carefully arranged rocks. Dropped off Templar virtual GC and Yellow TB. Thanks for taking me here. TFTC!
Found it after 15 mins or so - great walk through the bushland which I never knew was there - thanks Toolkit.
Reperio at 1735. Last cache for the day, and with the sunlight fast fading away, it was practically dark by the time I got to GZ, and with the GPS not settling on a specific spot, figured that finding the cache might be like finding a needle in a haystack. Went back up to grab the torch and headed back down, and searched around for 10 minutes before turning around, and the torch light hit it. Very nice trail through here.

easy find! dark though. log book needs replacing. also slightly damp inside. took japanese playing cards left motoraad garage sticker.
Walked down to this one today but at GZ there were Landcare or council blokes working on weed removal etc. I walked on by and came back hoping they were gone but they were across the creek. Pretended to talk on the phone and then gave up, walking past them back up the hill. Would you believe they all followed me back up the hill to their car?
Didn't bother going back down at that stage though. Will come back, it's a lovely spot.

My GPS read 18m away, and we were giving up hope of finding it. My friend then saw it as he looked down in dismay and all was worth it!!!!TFTC!!!
Hi, I found this cache with aniisawesome when I did not have a geocaching account. It is my first cache and the reason I have not signed it is because I did not have an account when I found it. If you do not believe me please ask aniisawesome for confirmation. I hope you understand!!! TFTC and love the location!!!!:))))
Last for the afternoon in a great little spot. Best cache of the arvo. Cheers Dropped TB off.
Another pleasant park tucked away in the middle of suburbia; once I read the logs and hint it was an easy find. Thanks Toolkit!
A nice and relaxing trek to the cache. However, crossing the lake on the huge stone proved to big very slippery. Found the cache relatively easy. TFTC.
That was the second time I've tried looking for it. The first time, I expected it to be further down the hill. Anyway, eventually found it.

Great walking track. Got to GZ and looked for the location referred to in the clue. As per previous logs, things are probably not as they were when this cache was placed almost eight years ago. But if you take that into consideration you will find this cache where it ought to be. TN L a Barnhall Rugby Pin SL TFTC Cheers.........Gaztek
My son found this by accident as we walked back down the hill. Immensely enjoyable.
An extraordinarily peaceful and beautiful walk in the middle of suburbia that I had no idea was here. The light rain made it all the more atmospheric. I will have to come back and walk the whole track when there is no rain. Cache ship shape and dry.

What a great little valley.
Enjoyed the walk down into the valley from the main road. Once we got close, had a look at the hint (as I didn't trust the GPS signal in the valley covered by trees on a cloudy day).
Search all around the likely location, and was getting frustrated. Finally decided to give up and go home when I almost stood straight on the cache.
Left Sunflower Telephone TB (I've had it on me for too long) and launch my Badge Collector backpacker TB out into the wild.

First of 4 finds on Monday morning! Got to GZ quickly, once I took the correct fork in the path! I think most of the branch in the hint has broken off sinse the cache was initially put out all these years ago, but you can still see what was being refered to! Cache was turned up quickly once the GPS steadied - all in good nick.

What a surprisingly beautiful spot very tucked away. Quick find with a geobuddy didn't take anything but will be back first cache for the day.
Enjoyed the short bush walk to GZ, especially after a big night of wining and dining. Lovely hidden valley in the middle of the suburbs. Quickly found the cache. All safe and sound. SL TFTC

Parked in Best St - not the closest but a fantastic promenade in our favourite kind of wilderness. Gps unreliable at GZ and looked too hard at first. Replaced cover without which this one would be really exposed - TFTC BigMickB TNLNSL

Lovely spot - better second time around taking the GPS into the bush, not leaving it in the car and guessing where it was (such noobs!) Good hiding place, although the horizontal branch was not the largest in the area! TNSL left keyring. TFTC
Not sure what time of day Floli visited, but when i rocked up this evening, to say the place was buzzing too would have been an understatement!!! As soon as i sat down to write in the log, i was homed in on by a million bzzzzzzzzzzzing b'****ds who latched onto me and proceeded to steal pints and pints of my lovely red goodness.... Ok, yeah... slight exaggeration, I didn't QUITE need a transfusion, but i AM covered in itchy red lumps!!!
Was it worth it tho?? Yep, Of course (not that i wouldn't nuke the mossies if i could [{:)]!! Beautiful place, hard to believe it's not in the middle of nowhere..
Picked up SS minnow TB

After the buzzing of the city we enjoyed the quite walk around the Cove! T4TC and greetings from Switzerland!
boxing day was a bit damp, but that didn't stop me attempting this one as I was really please to find a vintage cache like this one , the only Sep-03 placed cache I haven't found and a bonus it wasn't too far from where I was staying so I picked my moment and found my self in a small road and a lull in the rain made me think I chose right to go an get some caching done, bah a little rain..
When I looked at the GPS I was a bit worried as it pointed directly into the bush, but came to my senses and followed the path then fortunately creek still allow a short jump and after a short search and then I consulted hint found it, all good, pretty good for 7 Year old cache..
Dropped "part of log trackable"
thanks

Came in from College Rd North and followed the most likely path down to GZ, used the clue for a quick find. Nice spot TFTC.
Long day of bike riding and caching with frodo, chunx and eggs (BH and TDD).
Gorgeous day, light breeze, limited muggle activity.
Found this beautiful cache nice and easily. Although we did take the wrong entry point to the park, which resulted in a difficult half hour of bush bashing and cob-wed weaving!

Found with Bunyip Hill, last of the day. Would advise to take the river rd entrance into the park, as Fox st does not really join the track. A beautiful spot in an area of suburban bushland, this place was great! Cache was in good condition. Thanks ToolkiT

Found on the way home after work (with a slight detour of course! ;p ...but its not really a detour if a cache is involved!). Thanks for bringing me to this wonderful spot of bushland =)
I didn't have my camera to take any photos as walking down this track was great. The bush is green and alive after the recent rains, and it smells like a bush/forest area should. Followed hint and soon had cache in hand. All looked good. Hid cache again and walked back admiring the scenery. Thanks for bringing my here. SL. TNLN. TFTC.

very easy find due to the camo being very open. put more camo on and picked up a TB
Couldnt find a decent parking spot at first after initially driving down Fox St, but did a U turn and found College Rd. After a short hike down and a creek crossing, we found the cache easily. Re covered with some more camo. We were amazed at our luck to have two trekking type caches to start the day off with. TFTC, great park
This one took a lot of searching for. GPS seemed to be sending me in all sorts of directions - but never close to the cache. Circled the area lots of times, but stumbled across it in the end - more by luck than judgement. Took TB and left TB. TFTC
If you like moss covered rocks, a bubbling stream and damp trees then this is the cache for you. The last to find was a group of non-caching paramedics, guess it was not hidden that well. We could see it from a distance away too, but it is now better camouflaged. Took a TB and left a TB. We loved the short walk in and back out, so thanks for a really good hide in a great location.
Woo! First find, was a little harder than I thought as my gps was not as accurate as I thought it was. And I was looking for a different sized container. Keep your mind open people and a second pair of eyes is always helpful.
Big thanks to my girlfriend for spotting the container.
Big thanks to my girlfriend for spotting the container.
The track in from College Road (north) is definitely the way to go here. How quickly civilisation disappears behind you as you head down the hill. I was sprung at the cache by Martin, a Council bush regenerator. He was real interested in caching and is buying a GPS so I think there will be a new convert as a consequence of our encounter. Dropped of 2 TBs (one from Narrabri and one from Hobart). Many Thanks BigMickB.
We took the wrong way in but at least it was down hill. After we found a trail it made it much easier. Good hide and TFTC.
This cache had us looking for ages, the EPE was bad, and the clue had us in the right spot, and it wans't for a good 20 min I was standing right next to the cache. TFTH...SL....TNLN
Found with little difficulties. There was a lovely track in from the end of College Rd and the clue helps to stop people rummaging all over the place. Nice one. Dropped a GC.
