Logs

19-Nov-04
This cache has now been archived.

The nearby bridge tended to collect needles & other "unpleasant" rubbish. Due to the cache's proximity to the bridge a number of cachers were going under the bridge to look for it.

Thanks to all the people who have logged their visit to this cache, and to Red Dwarf for hiding it in the first place.

Please make sure you visit some of the other caches nearby.

12-Nov-04
Due to the age of this cache, and the nasty rubbish that tends to collect under the nearby bridge, this cache is temporarily unavailable (pending cache removal).

Unfortunately I didn't find this cache, it found me - spread all over the search area were bits of GeoTreasure, a zip bag with pencil, a cache container but unfortunately no log. I hoped it was a false find but Charlie Brown's calling card was the clincher. I put it all back together and added a new log book. More searching and I found what was probably the cache hide. I put it back and hope it doesn't get muggled again.

Found this one on my way home from work. Easy spot to park and a reasonably efficient find. Thanks Red Dwarf.

29-Oct-04
Doing some caches nearby we thought we should give a go as well. Easily found amoungst all the trash.
Thanks

My first cache in australia..

nice spot, took my quiet a while to find...
tried to put TB Lucky Me! inside, but box was too small...

so, TNLN

13-Sep-04
Found this one on the way home. Only a short search required. (I would have found it immediately if I hadn't ignored the GPSr as it was pointing directly at the cache.)
I didn’t have any swaps with me, so TNLN.
Thanks Red Dwarf.

01-Aug-04
I have searched for this one on bike rides from home without the aid of GPS. This time I found it (what a difference a GPS makes). Reasonably well hidden but found it within a few minutes.

29-Jul-04
Nice easy one to find for beginers like me. did this one on my way to work. swaped toy car with SES keyring.

20-Jul-04
Found it without any trouble, no swaps. Regards Philma.

16-Jul-04
A nice lunch time cache although the type of trash located nearby caused some concern for miss 4. litter aside it was a great site and we had a bit of trouble locating what we needed. No caving for us as we found external access. Took coin and left some batterries for any power hungry cachers.

09-Jul-04
Found it after a quick search. Didn't find the decoy that I read about. TNLN. Thanks guys.

05-Jul-04
Having no car I found myself on the wrong side of the railway line so I gave up because of time.

01-Jul-04
After having an previous attempt at this one I managed to get back to this cache and this time I walked straight to it, thinking why didnt I look there last time. Anyway TNLN, but enjoyed our first cache find with the Dingbats.

01-Jul-04
This cache is less spooky in daylight and easier to find too. I considered taking the 7kg gas cylinder, however it was stamped 1982. Dingbats and The Rats scurried off to the next cache.

27-Jun-04
After two misses, I am pleased to say i got this one pretty quick:)

didnt see a decoy
did look in and around anywhere and everywhere
and found it!

The new geopup Amy stole the cache whilst I was writing the log out, lucky i grabbed it before she got away

Imagine me explaining that one hehe!

Awesome! Our first cache. It was quite dark and we were afraid of sticking ourselves with one of the numerous needles around there. Need to be very careful! Saw no decoy... Previous person didn't close the lid on the cache properly, but plastic bag seems to have keep everything dry.

25-May-04
I visited on dark but with a torch. I searched for a while. It certainly wasn't in any of the obvious spots. I did notice two pencils on the ground amongst the other rubbish.

22-May-04
Found it on the second try today. On the first try, I couldn't search too hard as there were muggles nearby fishing. You wouldn't believe how big the fish are around there!

Came back later with a couple of muggles friends. Cache was found by one of them - Isla Nixon. We also found the decoy (first!).

Cache is in good condition. Took a keyring, left a ballpoint pen.

30-Apr-04
I did a cache inspection today, and the cache is in place, although it looks like the decoy is gone. Does anyone know who originally placed the decoy? It was not Red Dwarf or myself.

As the cache container is big enough to accept some small swaps I have filled it up so that you will have something to swap for.

This area seems to collect rubbish: I removed three bags of it from the immediate cache area today. If you are doing the CITO thing there are bins next to the nearby car parking area (just up the bicycle path a bit).

22-Apr-04
This one alluded me today, didnt even see a decoy. Maybe next time.

10-Jan-04
Glad everyone is finding the decoy. I wonder what it looks like as I didn't place it LOL!

07-Jan-04
Found by Mary & David at 1215. Misled by a couple of the recent logs, so wasted a few minutes looking in the wrong place. After giving that away we were soon encouraged by finding the decoy, and almost immediately after that found the real thing. Thanks to Red Dwarf.

29-Dec-03
ditto on below. I climbed into a small hole under the bridge. If I need drug paraphenalia, I know where to go.

28-Dec-03
Found the decoy and then the real cache... Nice one Red Dwarf - you've redeemed yourself after the horror of Mugwump Wink

KitPie was busy watching the 6 Sailor Moon DVDs I got her for xmas, so I jumped on my bike and rode a long, meandering route to this one from Enmore, checking out some other interesting things on the way and testing out my new handlebar GPS mount.

I must be a little out of practice, as it took me a little while to find. Made my mark in the shiny new logbook.

21-Dec-03
Added a new bigger logbook.

18-Dec-03
At 0100 an easy find, Thanks.

Also the next person needs to take some paper or a log book.

Have you ever noticed that among the graffiti which gets written under bridges, (Most of it can't be reapeated here), there is always a phone number that you can ring for a 'good time'. They mustn't know about Geocaching Huh?

Thanks Dwarf easy peasy one. I thinks we're getting close to collecting the set.

19-Nov-03
Found it in 2 secs thanks for the travel bug

08-Nov-03
Dropped off the travel bug "Earth". My apologies for the delay to anyone looking for this!

05-Nov-03
Three caches in a row today with very little search time. Nice to have a break from those awful puzzle caches.

01-Nov-03
A quickish find third one for the day, 3rd log for TEAM SWAG on evanesence...

Left a pencil...

01-Nov-03
4th log for TEAM SWAG.

Assisted SWAG Aft with this find. We were looking a little 'too hard' for a while...after our adventures with M5 madness.

Shame it's only a log cache...

13-Oct-03
My first solo cache. And a fairly easy outing for it as well.
It was a buzz to find it though, I have been waiting a number of weeks for a lend of the GPS from SWAG tim and finally got it last night.

Kudos to Red Dwarf for providing Public Transport Caches. Beaut for those of us without wheels.

03-Oct-03
Found miles of smiles travel bug and have moved it on. This was our 4th Cache for today and its still only 9.25am. Great hiding place Red Dwarf.

02-Oct-03
With a cache so close to Ebenezer HQ, how could I resist!

I found the decoy cache pretty quickly (nice one), and with a bit more searching I had the actual cache too. I know it says log-only, but the cache container seemed big enough to fit the Miles of Smiles TB.

30-Sep-03
Didn't take long to find this one. As always, be careful of syringes.
My 3rd cache found for the day, and first from Team SWAG.

There would have been room for a pen in this container, but I didn't want to leave mine.

26-Sep-03
After refueling at Adora we had enough energy to make it here and in a flash we found someone’s stash and then the cache. Then all we had to do is ride back to Homebush against all that wind. That reminds me about a guy who called his boat Passing Wind and did not realise the joke.

26-Sep-03
Looks like we were following Tangles around all day.
After running into Tangles at Toom, we had a suspicion he'd been here too. Sure enough, the virgin cache had been logged.
One of 4 micro caches for the day, and luckily too, we had run out of swaps.
There is great playground over the bay where we parked.
