Greetings from Geocaching.com
I have been looking at caches in the area that have been temporarily disabled for a while now and it looks like your cache [green]"Forty Two"[/green] has been under the weather for some time. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time I don’t think we can do so any longer. Therefore, I have archived this cache. If you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
When repairs to this cache are completed and it is time to have it reposted, it will be no problem. Just drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. You will still be able to access your cache page just as before by going to your “My Cache Page†and clicking the link of your cache.
If another cacher is watching this cache and wants to help out with the reenabling of this cache please contact the cache owner to offer your assistance.
I will be more than happy to take a look at your cache again to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks,
i,riblit

We probably found the spot where it should be, but it wasn't there. Afterwards we found that the cache was disabled already... Too bad
I'll temp disable this one till leek gets a chance to check it out..
As for ownership this cache was placed by reddwarf (with my help) when he moved away I took ownership.
When I moved overseas Leek volunteered to take over that task..

I think this cache is no more and i have a feeling the owner is overseas and wont be able to check or replace this cache anytime shortly, maybe it should be disabled untill it is checked or replaced?
This was the first cache I tried after I arrived at my nearby hotel. I thought I found the likely hiding spot, and even tried sticking my hand in to feel for the cache. Alas - no joy. I tried peering in, but in daylight, it was too dark to see anything.
I returned in the evening with a torch and checked the same spot, again without success. I looked for other possible spots but found no cache. A quick call to a fellow Melbourne Cacher, Dak's Emu Mob provided me with Leek's phone # and I called to ensure that I was looking in the right spot - I was. After a final perusal of the hiding spot, I gave up and returned to my hotel. If its in there, its got covered up pretty well.
Thanks for the cache, pity I couldn't find it. It was an ideal hiding spot.

Our second cache find as Team Tuzza. you would have thought asking a bunch of scouts to take a bearing would be easy........ apparently not. but we found it and logged it. YAY!
Success! Our first ever cache and what fun! Who knew that these little treasure-hunts were scattered all over the countryside (and in the middle of suburbia!). Logged the find as "Finders Keepers" only to discover the team name already exists in the USA! Oops! TN but left... Bling! Thank you!
I used to spend a lot of time in this area and had no idea this place was here. Nice easy find. Thanks Leek.

Stayed at a friend's house and went "Aha!, a cache only 141 metres away." Unfortunately, I had to walk all the way to the train station to be able to cross the train line, so I actually ended up working over 1km to get there. Had trouble getting good GPS readings in the area, but managed to get a compass bearing eventually and found it easily.
Our first for the day. Contents other than the logbook were wet. Took them home to dry them out. A nice easy find. Cache also needs a new "congrats, you found it" page. TNLN
My last north sydney cache for the day and having been down the road on a few previous occasions it was good to get back and knab this cache.
Note to self: read clues properly. 'A' is not 1 as I read it. Once I sorted out my SHORT comings the cache quickly revealed itself. Signed the log and was on my way.

Foud this one after work with no troubles with the hints given.Read that it was a log only cache but i found the TB Vic D.Beaver, going to take him to a good home in the Blue Mountain.
found this one at 9:15pm after having sushi at chatty. it was a really nice easy find, esp. after the trouble we usually have when night caching. we left a die and sticker for the fun of it. thanks heaps for a brilliant cache!

Dropped off TB - remembered it would JUST fit, and it did. Cache is back in action - go get it!
No wonder the previous two couldn't find it, it was not visible 3 feet down the hole. I chased a lizard in there and used a long stick to drag the cache out. Team Webguy did a good job and the new log is still dry (make doubley sure you put the lid on properly) Another nice spot!
Walked down the road to Forty Two to drop off a TB, but couldnt find it! I'm SURE I was looking where it was when I found it a couple of mths back... oh-oh! [?]
Tried for this one today..... No Luck.... I just know from the instructions that I was right on top of it... but I was not going to stick my hand in that hole and grope for something I could not see.... On reading the other posts, I wonder if it is still there.... Kayakahn

Easy find in the dark.
As many previous finders have stated, the cache is stuffed. The container needs replacing with an airtight and waterproof one, this one is not. Everything inside is soaked and useless.
I have left a new log book, in 2 ziplock bags, but, I noticed tonight when we were putting it back in the cache, both ziplocks have holes in them.
So, could the next finder PLEASE or owner bring a new small ziplock, otherwise the new log will be soaked quickly as well.
Cheers

Nice and close to home, the algebra was a nice touch. Used a stick to probe the hiding place - I wasn't sticking my hand in there.
Unfortunately the cache is soaked and everything inside is soggy although it was sealed... couldnt write in the log so left a business card which will probably absorb the moisture shortly. Cache owner needs to go and re-set this one.
Loving the urban caches!

Nice easy first cache for the day. Unfortunately the cache was full of water and log book soaked and full. This cache needs maintainance as soon as possible please.
After a bit of poor satellite reception I found this cache in the spot I first thought it would be in.
Note that the log is now completely full. I should have come prepared, but perhaps the next finder could bring a spare log book with them.

The more seasoned cachers will remember this one as the site of the final GZ for the old Barrel'o'GeoMonkeys Cache (http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=2825)
Some great memories there!
Found this one easily, much easier than Barrel'o'Geomonkeys!

It's nice to discover a hidden spot like this in the middle of suburbia. Didn't have a compass with me but the GPS track feature worked well enough and there weren't that many hidey holes after reading the clues.
I really enjoyed the walk along the bush tracks here. TNLN
Thanks Red Dwarf and Toolkit.

2ed time here. First time I was here some council guys were clearing the weeds from the area. So although I knew where it was it was difficult to reach the spot. As the previous logs stated I am glad that I fit the build and have long arms as well. There is nothing to 'took' and not that much space 'to leave' so 'signed log'...Thanks guys.
Found the plaque, did the maths and off I went. Right! Nice easy find, bit of a stretch, though. Thanks Red Dwarf and ToolkiT.
Last for the day, A nice stroll down to this cache, You need to be from Longreach.......... TNLN
Found by Mary & David at 1140. A pretty spot, and an easy-enough find. We were accompanied by niece Ellie, who spied and retrieved her first cache. Our thanks to Red Dwarf and ToolkiT once more.
This is not the first time a cache has been hidden in this area. A nice easy one, if you can hack the paces. We left our calling card. Thanks Dwarf and Co.
Interesting one this one. My third find of the day. Started at the train station and was confused by the plaque comment (couldn't find it!!), but eventually worked it out with some lateral thinking....
Nice walking trail to the bridge and a well hidden cache - didn't want to put my hand down there!!!! Eventually built up the courage after some walkers went by and signed the log book.
Enjoyed doing the maths and actually got it right! Didn't know which end of the bridge to take the paces from, but that soon became apparent.
A pen was to be found inside the cache.

Attempted this one previously in failing (failed?) light with no torch and dodging the raindrops - didn't take long to decide to retreat to fight another day. Second time it was most definately daylight with no rain in sight - turned out to be a nice quick find. Good cache.

Nice and easy, with nobody else around. Just dropped in after attending a wedding nearby.
Thanks guys.
Thanks guys.
Nice area to place a cache! Not too far from the station I walk to every morning to get to work. Had to wait until I'd finished uni to nail this one though. Was blessed with a sizeable gap in muggle traffic to search.
Top work Red Dwarf and Toolkit!

After a break due to the new arrival in our family I decided i had to get out and cache, this one was fairly close to my current workplace so off I went with compass, Calculator and GPS, a short walk later and some maths done the cache revealed itself.
Pedalled across from Mugwump to do this one. Being familiar with the area, I only used the GPS to get an initial bearing. Logged the cache and was on my way in no time.
If you're into urban exploration, go upstream and give your back and legs something to complain about.

We came, we saw, we logged. A straight-forward sort of amble - once on the right side of the railway. Hope we weren't spotted by the numerous dogwalkers about. Thanks RD & TK.
It’s nice to see the local council doing its bit to save water. Pouring rain and they have the sprinklers going. Seem to remember doing another cache in the same area.
With the brain now in meltdown (8 finds, 2 misses from Palm Beach to here), I didn't even bother to to do the calculations. Thanks for the clue. Also had trouble with getting the thing out, like the others.
A great hiding spot.
Thanks fellas.

Attacked this one early in the morning before the Atarmonites were up and about... The battery on my camera ran out, so unfortunately no photos from the hunt this time... An easy find, but I nearly lost it... Could quite get a grip on the cache and kept pushing it further and further out of reach... In the end I managed to get a couple of fingernails on it and made my mark...
A nice reserve guys... didn't know it existed...

Found it
The bridge was right where I thought it was from the description too - Had some trouble retriving the cache from its nest. Norse_man was also present.
I left a pen in the cache for future logging
