I Have taken over this cache from NZWide Will unarchive once I have had a chance to check on the cache

Caching our way through NZ and stopped to grabbed this one. Found no problem, but I have to agree the 35 paces should be more. TN/LN. Visiting from Utah, U.S.A. Thanks for the fun! Bean Stompers

P.S. Logging this after our return trip to the states. Cache is still there so we'll count it.

Thanks

35 paces for who? We thinks they are tall man paces.
What friendly fourfooted muggles at the carpark !!
- Pencils, ruler & sharpener set
+ Wine glass/plate clip & travel toothbrush (unused)
Running too low on daylight & committment to make the climb.

[Still there - safe and sound!
We found that it was more] SSE, [rather than just plain] SE, [but does that make sense??? Wink
+ safety pins
- bolt / carabiner (whatever this is!)
As we were trying to get home quick, we're going to come back another time to climb this mountain - it doesn't look too bad from down there Wink]

Searched for more than one hour. No joy-gone? Lot of rubbish.
Thanks anyway.

My last cache on my visit to New Zealand. Had a wonderful time here! Found about 80 caches and several TB's, most about to fly across the world. Thank you for this cache!

Took a little while to find. Found by a Happy 2nd time cacher after a bit of walking around.
A cool area of bush, and nice place to stop on way from Kai Iwi Lakes back to Auckland.
Cheers for the find.

Once more no chance without description, but this place was worth the visit too. At first I went alone to the top of the mountain where a heavy wind was blowing. Due to the clouds the sight wasn't that very impressive. Returning from the summit I searched for nearly half an hour around the picnic place and the nearby meadow but I found nothing.

Been waiting for a chance (read "excuse") to do this one since it went in Smile
Didn't have time to do the full monty today as still had long drive home, but it was a welcome break from the tarseal. - Nil, + small bottle of shampoo (No idea where it came from!) Thanks very much, I'll be back to visit this imposing geological feature.
Cache in good nick.

Amazing climb that was definitely facilitated by the natural stairs. Didn't have any goodies so I neither left, nor took, anything.

Thanks for leading us to the best view we had all day! The cache was a quick find and the climb to the top was well worth the stop. Nil in or out as we forgot to bring our geocaching goodies...

Headed back to Auckland ..... getting late ..... wern't going to do anymore but Jamie checked extrex map and cache was showing only a couple of hundred metres away .... so it was a quick left turn and up the hill.
After rummaging aroung in the bush for 20 mins or so, we had to give up due to rapidly failing light.
Cheers

We found this as the first cache of the day without problems. The cache is in good condition.
After this we climbed the hill. This was a bit harder to do. But the view was wonderful and a good reward.
Thanks for hiding the cache.

stopped in while passing. i came across a freind (surgez) while approaching cache, he had just found it.

did not walk to the top, with broken knee and time constraints it would have been long and tedious, when i visit the area later this year i will definately walk to the top.

took: nothing
left: nothing

This was our second visit. Didn't find the cache the first time as we didn't have our directions with us and it is vital that you read the directions in addition to following the coordinates. Our advise: read, read, read. More advise: climb to the top and take in the breathless views!

Good cache: Taught me to pay attention to the directions a bit more closely. S.E. is a general direction not pin point accuracy, so always see the big picture. After all that the walk to the top was exhilirating with fantastic views from the top. The walk down was even more exhilirating trying to keep up with a young gazelle racing down in front of me.

Had to keep the compass honest to find this one. The walk to the top is a slog but didn't take as long as I thought. Certainly worth the climb.

- combination lock.
