Loggin a DNF. Couldn't find this cache - even tho we persisted after running into other cachers who said that they couldn't find it either. Perhaps the recent efforts of the landcare groups has resulted in it going missing......
No luck. Did find a huge nest of furious red bull ants tho. Ran like crazy to get away . I think this one is a goner. Beautiful spot.
Evidence of replanting trees around GZ. Also evidence of peoples No 2s in bushes. Not very pleasant.
We could hear little voices in the scrub so the Chief switched to stealth mode so he didn't alarm the kids who were obviously playing on the beach.
Great views on a windy day. Geokid enjoyed finding something bigger than a micro for a change. She wasn't dissapointed, especially after we found the mother of all caches soon after.

Took a while to figure out how to get to GZ with the signs up about re-vegatation in this area. Eventually found an alternative route (best not to do at high tide) and found the cache all well in its hiding spot.. Thanks for showing us this spot..
Found by caughtatwork at 15:15 on 25/03/2011
This was a fun cache to find down the steps and across the beach at low tide. So many rockpool, but all devoid of life.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Nutcache for this cache. It was a simple find at GZ, but the approach to GZ makes this cache a very worthwhile location to visit.

Found by Peter and Muggle Bill ( friendly muggle), on the Island for an assault on the "Not Drowning - Caching" series. On our way back to the lodgings after doing some shopping at the Newhaven IGA. A nice easy find, TNLNSL, thanks for the cache Nutcache.

Found while heading down the Bass Highway with C@H to do some caching. Had a bit of a detour around KooWeeRup due to some major flooding across the Bass Highway just after Tooradin. We even drove through a strip of road (along with two other 4WDs) submerged under water at least 600mm deep for a few hundred metres just to get back onto the Bass. Certainly had the heart racing there for a while. Eventually got back on track. Took a while to find but with a bit of help from C@H who had done this one before it was soon located. Thanks for the hide.
Not so often visited. Lovely spot. I left an orca finger puppet and took a car with two drivers. Thanks Nutcache.

At this time of the day the only muggles were the mosquitoes and there were squadrons of them, hence we apologise for the poor writing in the log. Cache contents were a bit damp – perhaps condensation, could we suggest a packet of silica-gel – sorry we didn’t have any with us.

found at 10.00am nice spot, spent my school years over here. I remember spending many fun filled hrs down here in this area swimming and learning about our environment. Things haven't changed much as I had to be very quite lots of little muggles doing what we use to do when going to school here. TFTC TNL1

I finally got out to check on this cache today. Yes it was very wet inside (about half full of water). I have replaced the container and logbook and dried out the few swaps that were left inside. I have also altered the coordinates slightly to try and improve the accuracy.
Sorry for the delay, I have been very busy. I still plan to get out to this cache to repair/ replace it.
The first cache find for the Brodie Bunch CC !!!! Fantastic !! Was off the road so didn't have to worry about muggles which was an issue
earlier in the day when looking.
Took yellow car, left behind Canadian Mountie figure.

After spending the morning at the Koala Conservatory and then playing Maxi Golf at Amaze n Things and then lunch in Cowes we decided there was time to do a couple of caches before heading off to GMelb's Parents place (at Baxter) on the way back to Melbourne
Cache was damp - 2 logbooks very wet but some dry paper in a log bag enabled it to be signed TNLNSL
We then spent some time exploring the area and skipping stones across the very serene waters.
Oh also there is a sign requesting people not to acess the beach (therefore cache) via the small track but to use the boardwalk 50 metres west.
I will upload a photo to this log when we have uploaded the weekends photos to the PC
TFTC Nutcache and bringing us to Elsie's lovely place.

Sooooo much water in the cache.
Found it with Vicki, Winterlune and co. (Replaced it upside-down so that any water will drain out.)
Thanks, Nutcache.

Visiting Phillip Island for a Square Dance on the Saturday. This allowed Jeanette and I the chance to go caching on the Sunday.
This was our first cache as it was only 500m down the road from our B&B.
As 80degrees said there was water in the cache. It rained last night and there was more water in the cache.

Found at 12.15pm The cache contained half a cup of water. The log was soaked so added a piece of rainwrite paper that we signed. Thanks for taking us there.
Found it eventually in the wet despite the GPSR behaving oddly. Too wet to investigate the contents but thanks for the cache.
Tristan the Travel Turtle Tag (TTQWTC) has come for a flying visit back in time.
This one took me quite a while to locate, I was about 10m off - which I suppose is acceptable.
Once the cache was located, I needed to pour out all the water!
Not just a little damp, everything was wet wet wet!
The container seems to be letting in water and a new waterproof one might be needed in the future.
Thanks nutcache!

New to the official world of caching but have been involved since 17th of April 2009 (my first cache find). But have only just gotten a log name. Time to log all the wonderful caches that I have been finding since I have been caching with The Empire. My name in the log book is H.
Nice relaxed day of caching at nice locations. Nice easy find with this one.

Found the cache with a bit of hunting. Very pretty and well hidden beach. The cache was a bit wet...well drenched. Drained out the water. Took the rubber ball and left a toy car.
Found at 1115am. Easy walk to find this cache. Great views of the water. Directions to cache are exact. Log book is full. No more room for any more logs. TNLN great cache
I was tempted to take the direct approach, but then decided to follow the signs directions and go the longer way. It really is a nice spot. Some anglers around the corner, but they didn't seem to be very successful.

We couldn't take credit for locating the hide. Caught kiwiholden in the act while arriving at the scene. He promptly handed us the cache and left. Took nothing, left nothing. There were muggles nearby so we had to rehide the cache quickly. This is a location in Phillip Island we would not have known about if not for the cache. Thank you for taking us there.

Find # 760 @ 12:45 and second of nine finds for the day.
Wandered down towards gz and noted a couple with a young child playing at the waters edge. I had to pretend I was bird watching and they soon ignored me. I was able to quickly make the find, signed the log and was in and out without being noticed.

First one of the day. Amidst a slight downpour where I got considerably wet, we went looking for this cache. We found the co-ords spot on which made an easy find. TNLN, thanks Nutcache for the cache.
Took a few minutes to find our way down to GZ, thanks for the great hide... just watch out for some of the prickles!

Great little spot with lovely views! Dvixen, Xtumech, Gabbadabbadoo and I were on Phillip Island as part of our weeklong roadtrip holiday, and this was the first cache we managed to find on the island (never did work out any of those pesky mysteries... mainly due to a lack of time and net access at the hostel).
The kids talked to the two guys fishing nearby while Dvixen and I found and logged the cache.

I haven't been to Phillip Island for nearly 40 years - so, when I decided today was far too nice to be at work, I thought it must be about time to check out how it's changed. This cache was my first stop on the Island, and turned out to be an easy find after an enjoyable drive through this very scenic area.

Came down to the island to visit some friends for the weekend. Matthew, their three year old son needed to burn off some energy and was hounding me to take him treasure hunting again! So off go the boys for a mini adventure. 1st find for the day. Enjoyed the view and the hunt, but the weather was a little cool and spotting with rain, so did not spend a lot of time in the area. May come back again for a picnic in summer.
Took ‘Jimmie’ the travel bug.
I’ve included a picture of Matthew investigating ‘Jimmie’. This is a geocacher of the future as Matthew enjoys the adventure of the hunt (but is happy to play with the toys for a while and then leave the toys in another spot so other kids can find them).
TFTC – a good time had by all!
Cheers Ric

Found at 2.42pm. Took Grandma Looney out for Mothers Day and her first caching experience. We recommend the local chocolate factory.
This is a beautiful little spot. Even though it's May, I was tempted to go for a quick dip.
Found a broken sistema container in the vecinity and thought the worst before having a harder look and finding the treasure.
