Well this must rate as the easiest find I've ever made.

11th of 12 finds and 2 DNF's during a 2 day stopover in London.

Like others, couldn't find the cache as such. Lots of flowers underneath and I didn't want to look through them. Also in a hurry to make the train to Paris.

Have e-mailed the 'alternate' details to you and posted a photo here as well.

Thanks for very friendly 'when not found' cache.

Cheers,

1130 – Nice park in the middle of London, the cache isn’t there at all. It looks like all the candles have gone as well. Loads of squirrels about and we got some good photos. Thanks for the cache, confirmation email on its way.

Found by Mary & David from Australia at 1630. Only one day left in London. We'd planned to visit Leeds Castle today but the politicians put paid to that idea by deciding to take over the place for their talks on Northern Ireland. Instead we travelled up to Northampton to visit Althorp. This cache was close to Euston Station, so we made our way here when we returned. Turned out to be quite a busy park, with most people sitting around near the statue. Even so, we managed to retrieve and replace the cache undetected. Took sea horse, left Australian 10c coin. Our thanks to Jonnytuna, Daoloth and Craigster for showing us another of these lovely little parks that seem to be dotted around London.

Nice cache, good place to hide!

Found it fairly quickly. We has ome spare time early in the morning before the Plasa trade show opened, so we retrieved this one because it was near to our hotel.

Surprisingly quiet today with very few muggles about. I found this at 12:00 without any problems.

The first disappointment of my short London Cache Trip. I literally dug through all the gravel under the stone with the stick supplied by the previous cacher(?) but to no avail. Is it gone or was I looking at the wrong place? Eventually the gardeners started pruning the roses next to my so I gave up and left. Sad

We were in a park and it was dark. The torch had given up so we had to use the light from my pda to find the cache. Needless to say we used the hint. Found pretty quickly then made our exit from the park. What is it with people snogging in parks? +/- Nothing.
