Such a great location, the cave under the rock is a stunning geological formation and stunning views. A caching weekend in the Penrith area with a group of canberra cachers. Prior puzzle solving had a wealth of caches, more than we could do but made for full days and plenty of choice. Log signed with team name CPI24. (Canberra Penrith Invasion 2024) The group is MinnieK, Fitzy_65, joolay, Contesta, Flintstones, sacada, Gliss, Nibletricecakes, Tankengine, dty73, Youban and myself.Weather was nice and warm and company great. A challenging weekend at times with my ongoing health issues but managed best I could. Lots of events, morning catch ups to focus our day with dinners to relax at the end. Good to meet local cachers at them too.The Saturday was a local busy day, puzzles and others as we passed. Sunday was the pretty day up in the blue mountains with scenery and short walks. Monday was another local day of groups and some independent caching to round out the weekend. Thanks for your cache!
Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back. The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating! We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: Wow what a spot. The view is amazing like many other areas around here. But OMG! The inside was more amazing!! Loved it. Tftc!!!
Spending some time caching around the NSW/ACT southern tablelands with lots of side trips. TFTC. The second day of caching Penrith with the Canberra mob (CPI24). Today was a trip to Katoomba in the blue mountains finding many old and interesting caches.Lots of great treks with fantastic views.Final dinner was not at the Panthers club with the grand final on tonight.A great hike to a wonderful view. Fantastic.
Chooo ooo [Found] with dty73 and youban and a bunch of other Canberra invaders! Signed CPI Canberra Penrith invasion! on a caching invasion of Penrith! Thanks EcoTeam!
A cache trip to Penrith and the Blue Mountains with a large group from Canberra, signing with CPI24. A number of caches planned and others added on the fly. A fun group outing on a beautiful spring weather day. This cache: A nice short walk and the spectacular view. i did the T3.5 version just from the top of the rocks. Still thrilling with the wind to come back down again. Thank you EcoTeam for putting the cache out and maintaining it.

Day 16 of my interstate trip. Today I had a good look around the Mount York Campground area before packing up and moving on to Sydney where I will be staying for the next 4 nights. I managed to find 10 caches today and no DNF's today. No abseiling for me took the easy way in. Great spot.TFTC EcoTeam

Over in Canberra to attend the Easter Mega with tmann421Tons of local caches done while here and this was one of them.Enjoyed the touring around and all the containers found.
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. FP
After spending a bit of time at Scenic World this morning, this cache was our next stop. I wasn't feeling well, and was very light headed so did most of the walk but ' the egg' made the final ascent on her own to play it safe. We'd waved to some people at lookouts across the valley as we heard their voices so clearly.Pics taken by her at GZ and me along the the way. Thanks for bringing us here, and for such a wonderful old virtual cache.Favourite point for sure! Thanks EcoTeam

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.Today, we visit Blue Montain.Guided by the GCs, we hiked in its beautiful mountains. Very beautiful landscape. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
Another adventure before returning to Sydney. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Found with Blue Jay on our visit to the Blue Mountain area for the day. Pouring rain curtailed our morning but we saw some wonderful sites when rain cleared in the afternoon. Photo attached. TFTC. Toffee Man.
Out and about with Geoson, felt compelled to do this virtual. Did it the easy way scrambling down from the road and then an easy climb to the top of the rock. Thanks for reason to see the view.

I travel to Blue Mountains from cache to cache and spend an afternoon in Scenic World in Katoomba in rain forest and cliffs. Another super old cache. Send a FP. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Czech republic.
wow, what a cool hidden spot!when i saw this mega old virtual cache with this unique d/t combination, i immediately looked into where i could hire equipment or tack onto a tour that includes the boars head in their itinerary.sadly the timing wasn't right there, so instead i decided to choose option two and march myself out and onto gz instead.such a cool place. i ended up hanging out here for ages, had lunch in the shade of the overhang and clambered all over and around the rocky pinnacles here. i'll definitely come back at some point to abseil down the boars face and clamber all around the devils hole. but for now, please accept this sad selfie of me on top of the rock.this is the third time i've come across this combination and the first in virtual form. this is also just the second time i've ever found a cache placed in september 2003. a very long time ago.thank you for taking me to this epic yet easy to reach lookout trail thingy.
I actually went abseiling in Newcastle only two weeks before coming here to find this virtual! Unfortunately no gear / company on this trip however, but still following the official listed requirements I took option 2.... "The easy way - A relatively short walk in via the main road."I then scrolled through all the photos and found the original picture published with the listing titled "EcoNic at GZ with the GPS You'll need a photo like this showing the same geographical features to claim your log". I stood in the exact same spot EcoNic was standing, with the same view behind me, at and took my required photo which has been uploaded to this log! What an incredible spot, such a short walk from the parking coordinates but the final CLIMB up onto the rock at GZ was quite exhilarating in itself even though it was only short. And the views from the top were outstanding! Thanks EcoTeam for keeping this alive for so many years
I completed this virtual cache as I headed home to Adelaide after the QOGM events around Longreach. The plan was to be away for about a month. I travelled up to Longreach via Broken Hill, Cunnamulla, Charleville and Barcaldine, camping and finding caches of interest along the way. I am heading back home via Brisbane and the NSW coast to Sydney, then across to Adelaide. However my plans are pretty loose and subject to change, often on a whim! The weather so far has been good, albeit a little warm at times. I am hoping it stays good for the rest of the trip.I have had to be quite selective with the caches I have found as there are so many that I am passing. As a result I have mostly targeted non-traditional cache types, although I have also grabbed a few Trads opportunistically here and there.I would have loved to complete this one the way it was intended, but unfortunately I dont have the equipment, nor do I know anyone locally who could assist. So I had to settle on the walk and clamber to GZ instead. Thanks EcoTeam for the virtual cache, which has contributed to an interesting and enjoyable trip. And a favourite point for keeping this old cache alive!
Week 6 of our retirement holiday. Have been caching in NZ, Tonga, Fiji, Port Macquarie, Gwandalan and now here in Blue mountains. Love to earn a smiley! It was cool to see a group of abseilers on the rock from the official Boars Head lookout afterwards!
We are on our long-awaited journey around the world in 99 days. Second try after canceling in 2020.
Our fourth stop after Los Angeles, Hawaii and New Zealand is Australia.
This time was of course used to find some geocaches here.
Today we were searching for the Virtual **Wild Boar - EcoTeam#11**
At the given coordinates the needed picture was taken quickly and after sending them, ther is a new smile on our geocaching map!
At least we would like to take this opportunity to thank EcoTeam for the great view and for creating this Virtual!

This trip is the...2023 RUTHERGLEN MEGA TRIP This cache-which challenge/why?LGAleg stretch can't pass a virtual older cacheHad a great time catching up with friends and caching ourselves silly at the Mega over Easter. Now I'm heading home and putting on the steam to be back in time before Anzac Day.I've been contemplating this one for many years, mostly as to whether I was even going to try it. I'm not good with heights and I seem to be getting worse as I get older so this was a real challenge for me to even consider, as there are some serious heights involved here. My biggest problem is that when I'm really scared I either hyperventilate and/ or freeze and that could be a problem in a place like this. I decided as I was going past that I'd at least have a look at the place and then make a decision. Pulled up and nervously made my way along the little track, that was okay. Usually people don't like the shrubbery so close but I was happy to have it as I felt safer with it all around me especially as it was all growing upright indicating there was more likely to be flattish ground underneath. The heart rate was going up as the numbers rolled down as I expected GZ to be on the edge of a cliff. Also my device has a usual accuracy of +/- 3m (flip a coin as to which) so my caution here was not without reason. (It had GZ about 5m beyond the cliff top so this was a case of near enough is good enough!) Was a good view from here if one wasn't too scared to appreciate it. Chewed adrenaline while I took some happy snaps and then made my retreat drenched in sweat. Phew! Done!!TFTC

Probably not the best day to head up to Katoomba for a few caches - so many muggles around and parking anywhere - even at the lookouts - was a nightmare.
As a result I bypassed a few caches I'd have otherwise grabbed. But still nabbed a good number - including a full AL after being lucky enough to get a parking spot at Leura.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Started here and I was surprised to see a family coming out of the track as I was heading down. A short but steep walk down led to a short but steep climb uo the Boar's head. Can I say that I found the climb up easier than back down - so much happier when I can see and test the footholds.
A great spot and views. I'm just glad I'm not abseiling.

When I had a look at the geocaching map for the area ahead of our visit here, I noticed the very rare D/T combination of this virtual. Unfortunately I do not have the knowledge or equipment necessary to attempt it the hard way, so my muggle friend and I settled for a walk in from the road. That was very rewarding in itself once we reached gz, when we were rewarded with such beautiful views, and could have place completely to ourselves. We took a lot of photos before feasting on some snacks on top of the pagoda, and after about 30 minutes we started to make our way back. This hide is why I love geocaching, I would never have experienced this place if not for geocaching, so that’s a definite FP for me.
I’m trying to get to a 100 logs before leaving Australia, and today I only need 8 logs to accomplish that. Hopefully doable during the day.
A big thank you to EcoTeam for creating and maintaining this geocache, so that the rest of us can entertain our hobby.

Chtěli jsme obejít LAB a odlovit bonusovou keš, ale celý den tu létal vrtulník s materiálem a všechny view pointy kolem vodopádů byly jiné. Tak jsme nasedli do auta a pokračovali po výhledech směrem na Cahills Lookout.
Na jeden vyhlídkový bod jsme si přivezli oběd z Katoomby, kde jsme našli parádní obchůdek s pečeným masem a moc jsme si tu pochutnali. Místní ptactvo je neskutečně drzé - opravdu na něco takového člověk není připraven .
No a pak jsme šli na tuhle virtuálku.

A quick walk and a fun scramble at the end! Amazing views, glad to get this high terrain!! TFTC
After a morning hike under the shady sandstone cliffs, I came out into the open near here. Abseiling would have been the wrong direction. The little climbing on the last few meters was fun. It was also easier going down than expected. That was a very nice end to my trip to the Blue Mountains!
Hi
great view thx for this virtual and showing this great spot! I have to admit that unfortunately I only have the easy version to offer. we had to go further and take even more impressions with us.

Yeah, I didn’t do this one the difficult way.
Another stunning view of this spectacular part of the country. Obviously I’ll have to come back again and do it properly!

Two new-ish ALs lured me to Katoomba today but you can't come to town without grabbing a few normal caches as well ... and this one in particular. It's been on my to do list forever but weather and/or time has been against me on past visits. I thought it was going to be the same today but luckily, the gale force winds we've had for the past couple of days have dissipated somewhat and it was a pretty pleasant walk out to the views.
Thanks for bringing me here Eco Team.

Wow, that was a small adventure to get here, at least I did not meet any snakes. Thanks for the cache!
After a week at Lake Macquarie, I was on the long road home via Orange, so had an opportunity to pick up some older caches to tick some Ausmer boxes. I hadn't visited this end of Katoomba before, and this was a great location for my daughter & I to do some sightseeing without plenty of people around. We made our way easily from the road to GZ & enjoyed this rock formation & the views it offered. TFTC, fave for me!
Up in the Blue Mountains this weekend for a spontaneous solo run of geocaching as the rest of the novos were busy back home with either school assignments or work or both. Gives me a chance to hit some of this higher T stuff which the family tends to let me go do on my own lol.
Not having a lot of luck this arvo with either road closures or diabolical puddles putting an end to any caches I might have been interested in. This one here was ok but the bush was just soaking wet! Can't remember having so much rain! Great views thankfully at GZ (ie not too many clouds/ fog) just as it was starting to get dark. Awesome to find a retro Virtual. Dipped our [novo Jasmer coin](https://coord.info/TB7AXHF) as this is a new month for us, just 11 to go. TFTC, EcoTeam.

Phew! Even the walk from the road was freaky. I hate heights and it was rainy AND windy today! I narrowed on on GZ being close to zero and this is where I landed- clinging to the rock face staring a displeased lizard in the face. He came out to stare at me like “are u leaving soon?” And the answer was yes! Here’s some photos of me at GZ with said landmarks. TFTC
Finally managed to get out here in between rain fog and freezing cold weather in summer
With many years of canyoning, abseiling, vertical rescue and bush Search and rescue, I couldn't leave this one untouched any longer!

I have abseiled down the Boars Head multi-pitch route several times, many years go, pre-GC and BC (before children). I will dig out some old photos (Hmm .... prob pre-digital even). Today we were visiting a friend in the Blueys, and I took the opportunity to hunt down a few geocaches I've intended to find for a long time. This was one of my afternoon highlights. I'm giving this a favourite point. TFTVC EcoTeam
Parked at the top of the trail and took the ‘easy’ approach down to the rock. Even so, at the age of 73, I found one or two sections rather steep and challenging and care was needed at GZ. However, made it safely back to the car and really appreciated the early morning adventure. FP awarded.
20+ years of abseiling and canyoning in the Bluies. 14 years of Geocaching. 14 years of saying "next time" to grabbing this cache. Well, today is Next Time!
Cheers

I was a bit worried about the path but I followed it down even though the path said go left. All worked out fine in the end. Awesome outcrop and so glad to ge done this. Thanks for bringing me here EcoTeam #11
Found today with Joolay on a drive to Blue Mts. What a lovely spot and rock features here.

Over from Perth on work, so while in Bathurst I've spent a bit of time each day grabbing a couple of caches.
Last morning in town before heading to Sydney airport this evening.
Stopped off in Katoomba to grab several caches including this one. Did it the easy way with a quick walk down from the road. TFTV

The fog and rain that had set in over the last few days, had finally cleared. The sad part was that I'd be leaving town today and heading back to Sydney.
I took the short trail from the top and walked down a sandy path to the edge of the cliffs. I took note of the strange trees here, or at least they were strange to someone from upstate NY. I've been enjoying my time here in Australia and discovering new plants and animals around every corner.
The trail was unmarked and a little hard to follow, thankfully I had GPS coordinates to guide me there. I made my way out onto the rocks and took a moment to enjoy the view and examine the eroded sandstone cliff face and cave. It was so cool and truly a great place for a cache.
My phone was showing me that I was close to the posted coordinates, but I knew that I had to do better. I moved out of the cave and climbed up the side of the weather carved sandstone cliffface, a short way to the top of the rocks. These were simply stunning views. I looked out across the valley at the mountain peaks and farm fields far off in the distance, the roads and cars moving along them on the other side of the great divide, I saw people gathered far away at a parking area, looking like they were getting ready to do an abseil of their own, so far away that they didn't even respond when I shouted out a hello and tried to wave to them.
I took some pictures from different angles, unsure of what was needed, as I couldn't pull up the photo on my phone to compare.
I could have spent the whole day up here. It was a remarkable spot.
Thanks for the find.

I did the easy way. I am well known for my fear of heights and, as there is no way I have the required abseiling and rock climbing skills, the "intended way" was not an option for me. Nevertheless an interesting place to visit. Unfortunately the fog and mist completely obscured the views today. I will return at some stage.
After climbing up and trying to find the hiding spot for 5 mins, we realized that all we needed was a photo. Unfortunately it was a bit smoky.

Another great day on our one-year tripp around Australia. We love to travel in this country and we love to look for geocaches. This geocache has again shown us a place that we might not have visited without geocache.
Thank you for the geocache !

Spent the weekend outdoors with friends. I had a very rewarding time - reaching #5000 finds, clearing more of my 50km radius and collecting a range of caches that work towards different statistics/challenges. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to the game.
I targeted statistics-related caches on the way home on Sunday. Stopped in at Boars Head for this Virtual. A reasonably short but manageable scramble to GZ. Amazing panoramic views here! Thanks For The Virtual!

Day 10 of our vacation in Australia from Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA. Today we left Sydney for the Blue Mountains. Couldn’t ask for nicer weather. It was really foggy in town. Not sure where but some point driving up into the mountains we drove above the clouds. Echo Valley was crazy busy today. I had a short list of caches today. We only grabbed 3 of them though. We got to enjoy several look outs, two water falls, one big hike, and three sisters! Tftc. PS. No climbing gear, as it wouldn’t fit in my carry on if I even had climbing gear. We found this place beautiful, and without drones, running screaming kids, and big crowds like secco Valley. We loved the cave like rock formation. The rock was still a little wet and I didn’t feel comfortable climbing. Hopefully our photo meet your standards. Again, TFTC
A quick and easy find. We got a heads up from a friend about the easier route to GZ and we found it quickly enough. Another lovely view over the hills after scrambing up the rock. Whoops forgot to put the GPS in the photo. Cheers
We are spending some time driving from Katoomba to Bathurst. A nice place to be, a few caches here and there, and a wee bit of driving fun too! In the smaller log sheets we signed as MK+KR to save space.
Thanks to all CO's for placing and maintaining their caches. Cheers

Picture with Karma Reprint. I wasn't keen going off the road here and over the cliff but the track was so clear to start with. Then it wasn't so good and I had no idea how things were going to work out. It was such a revelation when I saw where we were going to end up and that it would be a manageable scramble. I wanted to take lots of pictures but it was such a magic place I just enjoyed being there. Tftc

This cache was my main goal for the day! 5 hours and 11km later, I finally reached it by foot. Talk about one hell of an amazing day.
The track to GZ was not so obvious, and the last part sure was a precarious climb! But all completely justifiable, as this is a T5 cache. It's all been so worth it, to see this place as the sun was getting low in the sky. I can't find the words to describe it... Just... So beautiful... So peaceful.
I'd exhausted myself out now, so I got an Uber back to Katoomba station from here. TFTC, and have a favourite.

We never miss the opportunity to find a Virtual Cache and so as we were passing not too far from this one today we simply had to take the divert off the main road to come and do this one. Although we had a borrowed rope and our abseiling equipment with us in the vehicle we didn't have time to do this cache the T5 way today. That said, we didn't do it the T3 way either but instead took an off the beaten non existent T4 route, climbing up from the bottom via some serious bush bashing! Finally we reached the top and were then soon at Ground Zero, where the clamber up to the platform was the easiest part of our hike! Wow! - what a great view from GZ where we took the required photo as well as several others. After having admired the super views we then took the easy route back out. Thanks so much for this golden oldie Virtual Cache and a favourite point awarded. Greetings from Zimbabwe
Was eine fiese Kletterei.

TFTC! Wonderful day around the Blue Mountains and Katoomba. This is a great view point that we treasure. Thanks for bringing us here!
Well I stuffed that one up and took the wrong track until I was well below GZ. Then back up and try track number two t othe north. A bit of a short scramble and a climb up and wow, what awesome views from up here! Quite a beautiful spot you folks have here.
We were in the area and noted this was nearby - we went over to have a look and though the weather was not at its best we managed to get to GZ - though as we progressed we did have doubts we were in the right place - once we go really close we knew we were and knew what we had to do. We both got to the top and photos taken
Unfortunately the poor weather conditions did mean the view was not great
Anyhow a great virtual

First stop on a fantastic weekend of geoCaching around Katoomba and Lithgow. Agreed to meet B@W here for our targets of D6 and Daylight. I arrived a little early to grab this virtual. Beautiful blue sky day with temps forecast to reach over 30. Glad we are going down into the shadows and then underground. Spectacular views from this location and enjoyed the scramble up. Unfortunately no abseiling planned for today.

I found this virtual cache with Martin Cousins and to think I’ve been coming along here for years to do the Multi pitch abseil here at Boars Head and never done this cache. Photo of Martin Cousins

We made a tour from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. It was a beautiful sunny day after the thunderstorm. At the three sisters we had a look what to find in the area. This one was very attractive. At the GZ we have to climb some meters to have a great view. Thank you for the cache!
During our great roadtrip through Australia today we spent an amazing day in the Blue Mountains before going on to Sydney. On our route we found a lot of great caches. This was one of them.

This year, for the second time of my life, I travelled on holiday to Australia. The last tour has been in 1995, but this time something was a little different. For the first time I didn’t travel in a group, this was my first tour, were I was totally alone. I had booked the flights to Brisbane and from Adelaide and for the three weeks in between I rented a very small campervan, in which I could sleep and was able to do a little cooking. For me, this was enough.
In three weeks I was able to drive more than 5000 kilometres and could find around 90 caches, including all of the Australian caches from 2000. To finish the Jasmer Challenge was the other thing I wanted to do. There was only one month open and this was October 2000. With two different caches from this month in the country I could finish the challenge and in the end I visited them both. The best thing is: I didn’t need a cache of the USA to complete my Jasmer.
----------
Today was the only day of my visit in Australia with really bad weather. It started to rain in the night and didn’t stop in the morning. Later I could see a small avalanche blocking one of the small paths going down the cliffs and much water flowing over a different path I wanted to walk. Passing though would have been dangerous, so I went back the way I used before. I had forgotten my wallet, so using the public transportations wasn’t possible. I am happy that I could see the three sisters during my stay 23 years ago.
From the right angle this was an easy cache. When the weather is OK! Today it wasn’t, so I had to change my clothes and use a different camera for the pictures. This small camera is waterproof and this was necessary today. I did my best making pictures, but the final result isn’t very good. I post it anyway.

In the attached image, Fox in Jox and I are pictured on top of the pagoda. Not sure why the Fox is waving his arms about.
This was a highlight of the 16+ hour road trip from Canberra to Harden-Murrumburrah, Young, Cowra, Carcoar, Blayney, Bathurst, Oberon, Lithgow, Katoomba, Linden, Springwood, Blaxland, Penrith, Campbelltown, Camden, Mittagong and back to Canberra. Glad we chose a car with good fuel economy or the petrol bill would have been whopping. Also glad to have a comfy vehicle with a cool bag in the back.
Great to grab this old virtual!

Fox in Jox, AngelG27, TikvaNZ and ZQX (aka FATZ) went on a Saturday Windmall Wander to pick up waypoints for the Great Aussie Icon Hunt #3. Along the way, we picked up good DT caches, caches in new counties and Ausmer/Jasmer caches.
This cache gets me another county, but has a great view for the effort.

That was an epic adventure.... for me anyway. I chose to go from the main road and the track was lovely. I found the feature boars head without issue and started to climb. Got to the point where my head was just looking onto the platform and then I froze. Now to put it all into perspective, I'm 5'6" and 102kg, a granny, unfit and doing this on my own. And I'm not a climber in any way shape or form. Thought I could do it but apparently not. I decided that I could not safely get on top with shaky legs and heart thumping about to jump out of my throat. So went back down to get photo to take a picture of how far I got. Bad idea. Really bad idea. Mind took over and would not let me get myself that high again so the shot is about 2/3 way up. As I didn't actually get on the top, will concede if CO deletes my log, but I'm hoping that I can still claim given that it is a virtual. I would love to come back again and with someone so that I can get up top properly but will have to wait until I can get out of Canberra another time. I'm so glad that I got tofind the location though as the views were amazing and different to the standard tourist shots. That's why I love geocaching!
Found this one today in a trip up the mountain to visit customer. I don’t know why I haven’t done this one previously perhaps my fear of heights. Just pop my head over the edge today. Thanks for the placement in a magnificent part of the world Cheers
What a spot!
We seemed to get close to GZ following our phone and then our open cycle map went a bit nuts and we bush bashed 50m or so to get to GZ.
I would imagine not many 4 or 6 year olds have been to this spot - and while mine didn’t climb to the top, but they did go to the bottom, and to the ‘window’ near GZ. Pretty cool.
The terrain over the last few metres was a bit steep for them so Daddy went to GZ the ‘easy’ way. Great views up here. Thank you so much for sharing this spot. FP for the adventure.

Our second visit near Katoomba. This time we went to see some viewpoints we missed last time, the Wentworth Falls, and then went to Glennbrook for a short walk to the Red Hands Cave.
We chose the easy way for this cache, as I did not fly in my climbing gear from Czech Republic. However, I hope my next australian trip will include some canyoning and I might as well come back for a proper difficulty!
Thanks!

Done on a very very very windy day! An awesome trip with the fear factor greatly increased by the high winds. We nearly bailed at the first abseil but continued on - the slot in particular was pretty interesting with the wind howling through. Sadly too dangerous for any pics in there. You can see the strength of the wind on the rope in the last pic, without a person on belay it would have been horizontal.

Been back here a few times now to do both the Abseil trip and the climb back up and out. Such a fun location. Here is a shot of us as we drop down the first Abseil. and then climbing back up the other side to the walk out.
Today was blue mountains day for Madeye&Moody and me. After enjoying the local attractions and the daylight we were almost a little bit late for this one. But the place is wonderful for sunset.

Took drive to Katoomba today and this one was on our must do list.whoo what a fantastic view. I did get wobbly legs on the platform though.we walked the short track but did see absailers across the valley. Thanks for taking us here.
This was a great cache the views where great we seen some great views today that I have never seen before I have not been up here for many years things have sure changed
A day out caching with DLTurner, kazzacosmo and ReggieJohn, we collected a few caches on our way to Katoomba and did a couple of tourist spots, our main objective today was this virtual. The walk in was very doable and a fantastic view was our reward. Thanks for bringing us here it was s great day and a fav point as well
I used the easy way to get to the GZ. That was a nice walk down the path with great views. Thank you for showing this. TFTC
