As this cache has been disabled for months I'm temporarily archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, and assuming it still meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

After 2 no finds we've temporarily disabled this cache until we check it out.

Interesting spot, nice views, but didn't find cache. Spent about 15 mins looking, but too many nasty, spiky plants took much of the fun out of it, and I lost interest.

No can find but many likely places it could have been before being muggled.Twisted
Nice view all the same. Reckon the walk to the end of the point would be really hairy (a bit chicken) Big Grin

Tried this one and seached for about half an hour to no avail. GPS settled at GZ but could find nothing in the area. Great view from the ridge.

Two adults and 5 kids under 6 couldn't find it?? Not sure if its still there????

We found it. Nice day but a little windy. Nice view. Took the cars and left a highligher and pen. Thank you The Hill 4 Big Grin

The old cache was removed when I visited the location last weekend. Now just the one, larger cache remains. Glad you enjoyed the location.

We found the new cache but didn't spend enough time to find the old one. Don't leave this spot without visiting the end of the ridge just past the cache - the view is great. I took a travel-bug and an elephant and left a small screw-driver

Found one cache but not the other - perhaps the TB is in it? Strolled a short way out on the nearby narrow ridge between the massive cliffs with churning seas below. Quite glad that the cache was not put out there! T:Pooh L:a wriggly snake. Still slightly puzzled about the name... Thanks, Hill 4.

Found it!

More when we are back in Germany.

Thanks and regards,

An interesting development. Friends were in the area and went to check out the cache for us. They found not only the replacement cache but the 'missing' cache as well which was a few metres away from where we'd originally left it. Both caches are intact...so, this should be an even easier find as you'll have 2 to choose from. Sort of doubles your chances.

Took some friends on their first hunt. I think they're hooked. Left Globe Trotter T. Bug.

First Cache great fun lots of excitement found cache pretty easily.

Had to come down and help the family move some furniture, so thought we would duck in and have another attempt and claiming the new cache.

Got to the cache location only to realise that we didn't have the new coordinates, we knew that the new location was about 10m from the old one so we widened our search and found the cache quickly and easily.

Thanks to The Hill 4 for another cache towards the 100.

T - Rascal TB, $1 Scratchie and a Dragon Fly
L - NZ Silver Fern Keyring, and some animals

Replaced our missing cache with a new one. Dropped off a Travel Bug as extra incentive.

Were down in the area for the long weekend and we thought we would take some newbies to their first cache.

Got to GZ without and problems however after about 1/2 hour of searching and a phone call to the Spindoc Bob hotline we couldn't find the cache.

Found the termite mound easy enough, but the nearby bushes revealed nothing after a lot of searching. Perhaps it's not there any more, or perhaps we just had a bad day! Hoping to return, so would appreciate a hint email if anyone else finds it? Cheers.

What a lovely walk! Love the views. Found cache easily. Took LOR figurine and left Winnie the Pooh.
On our way back from the cache we even sighted some whales!

An early start on a cloudy but calm autumn day with friends & a bunch of kids. Found the cache without difficulty - awesome views and a really interesting place, especially the flora in the area - quite different on the headland to that found only a few hundred metres away. If not for the cache, would probably not have visited this area, even though holidaying at the next beach; glad we did!

Took an SES whistle; left a glitter glue pen.

Great cache - thanks The Hill 4!

Did this cache as we returned from a south coast wedding. A lovely spot that we would never have gone to unless it was for caching. TN but left a whistle keyring. Thanks for showing us a another nice spot.

Witchy Woo (my wife) found this after I passed the hiding spot. We dragged Em and Gee along (sister and brother-in-law) on our way to Nelligan. The wind was a strong southeasterly, so we didn't stay long. TNLN.

BTW - I think we spotted one of your freedom fighters in the bush! [B)]

A pleasant walk with great views along the way. Nothing exchanged. Thanks. Greg and Bev

Managed to find this without too much trouble. Brillant view from the point. Very spectacular with the steel gray rain clouds moving across the distant hills. Left nothing, only took rubbish left by previous geocacher (naughty, naughty) Well worth the visit, glad I brought a camera with me.

Great views - and a wonderful site!

Realised when we were 300 km away that we had lost our cache pages on our way out of this one (sorry folks!). I see my a lter log that someone found them - thanks for clearing them away! We will clear rubbish from the next cache site as pennance.

Happy new year!

My first cache for the year.
I really enjoyed this walk and views.
In my previous life as a Canberran, I visited all parts of the south coast countless times, but never this spot.

Took nothing but photos

Thanks for the hunt

Paul

Looks like I only missed Diadem by a couple of hours on this find.
I also had to think very hard for a while as to why the name matched the area. He he. very good.

BTW I think that a bird watching club must have been around the area on the afternoon I was there, as I saw 4 groups of people with binoculars, bird books and cameras with very big lenses while I walked along the path to the cache. Nice spot for it.

It's been a few hours since I found it and the logic on the name has just hit me. I have been visiting the S. Coast nearly every summer of my life and I had never been to this area. I particularly liked the views along the way. A nice easy find at the end. TNLN.

Nice short walk to this one. Scenic location and easy find. The cache is in good condition. had no swaps so took nothing.

Found by MattS and ThomasS. Like numerous other caches before, the title of this cache became clear once underway. This was our 3rd cache (of 4) for the day, and our 2nd virgin find for the day! I though the wind at the top of Pigeon Hunt was severe, but here was just ridicules. I estimate that gusts would easily have reached 100km/h. And whilst standing on the edge of a cliff (on three sides) that is actually quit scary! Still, managed to take a couple of photos – the views were spectacular! Took a glitter pen, and left an SES keyring.
Thanks Hill 4, for the excitement, and another corner of Australia discovered!
