Tftc, nice hide.
Starting to get sick of orb weavers this trip though, suggest bringing a stick

Good hide thanks

Easy find on a return trip from a boys weekend away with a good mate of close to 30 years. He's a chimney and what better thing to do whilst he's faggin than to find a cache. Gz and cache in good condition.
12/25 a bit of a scramble up the hill made me regret not having breakfast or lunch. A quick find once at gz.
Nice stroll to find this one, Does need a new container if anyone thinks to take one!
Suscoe was heading north today with our final goal being Devonport.
It was a clear day with loads of sunshine.
The temperature got to around 24 degrees as the day wore on but the breeze kept things pleasant.
We enjoyed our trip today and found a good range of caches and even got to chat with a local farmer along the way.
We have been amazed at the wonderful countryside that we have seen as we have travelled around Tassie, it has been a terrific two week visit.
Thanks to Biggles Bear for this hide, a nice walk up the hill.

We got lost! Went downhill instead of uphill then it took us a while to find - look for rocks if you’re struggling too! Was lots of fun though - thank you!
On a roadtrip to Mt Wellington and the quick stopover was great for recharging the batteries.
Nice hide quickly found, thanks CO.

This was not so quickly found. Being in business clothes didn't help either. But once I got to GZ I spotted the hide.
The container is damaged. The UV has made it brittle and it is breaking up.

A quick find whilst taking a short break on the way back to Hobart. TFTC

Last one on trip to Hobart. Six plus a multi. Makes for a lengthy trip timewise, but enjoyable. TFTC
Thanks Biggles Bear for placing this cache and keeping it on the geo- game board.
Nice little hide, over the bridge and up the hill!
Done this Cache on a weekend away to Hobart all by myself so was able to find 44 caches including some lengthy multi caches. Also got to see my favourite comedian, some family and friends and a spot of shopping. Just what this girl needed!

Found with Mtrax on our mini Tassie holiday! Today we drove back to Hobart from Launceston... Once again, the rain held off, and the sun was shining! Mind you, it was very windy! But that was OK. This was a nice cache find along the way - albeit there was no heavens gate, it was not a drive by, and the container is broken and needs replacement! - thanks BB.
Bit of a tricky hike, wasn’t too sure on the whereabouts but we got there eventually.
After a quick wander up the hill, we found the cache after a short search. The clips on the side are broken, but other than that the cache is fine. TFTC!
Tried to find over year ago but Vodafone was sending me around in circles. Now got Telstra. FOUND IT. TFTC
Well now, this cache was a surprise. I needed a trad for a challenge I'm slowly working towards and randomly clicked on the nearest trad on my route up north from Hobart. I was pleasantly surprised to find a Biggles Bear cache at this location! There aren't too many around from 2003 I would've thought and after parking nearby and admiring the topiary I walked the path and then deviated from it on the way to GZ.
Lovely little wander uphill to Gz not really a marked path and the path may be more difficult in winter but with the Sun out and dry I enjoyed it all good with the hide TFTC
Tassie Trip Day 135 - Well after making the trip into Hobart on the wrong day to see the wooden boats on our return after doing some shopping for a few thing we made our way back to Ross and along the way made a few stops.
This was also a quick visit to the little boys room along the way to the well hidden cache.
Thanks biggles Bear for leaving this cache for us to find.

Gosh, hardly a drive by and I was not wearing the appropriate shoes for going in the bush. Beware of thorns. A quick find at GZ.
Nice little walk. I like finding these older caches. This cache is now a 'small' Sistema. It's holding up surprising well with part of the lid broken off. I took the broken pieces away to dispose of. If someone can bring a small Sistema as a replacement it would be good. TFTC Biggles Bear.
TFTC! The edge of the lid of the cache is broken. It seems to be waterproof for now but probably won't last much longer. Here's a picture of the cache (does not show the hiding place)
Stopped here many many times over the years, but have never had a real reason to explore the area til now. Not a bad view from the GZ, worth the small walk.
Cache container is in pretty bad condition and could probably use replacing. A new log wouldn’t hurt at the same time either.

Sorceysal and I travelled over on the Spirit of Tasmania for a few fun packed days in Tasmania. We were on our way to collect a juicy apple geo pic when this popped up on the screen.
Those topiary animals amused me as I walked up the hill to the cache. Not sure if it is a drive by any more though.
The cache was found right at my feet when I checked the arrow on the GPS, and looked up again for a likely spot.
Thanks for the chance to ‘rest’ the legs here Biggles Bear

In Tassie for a few days with 6hinemoa2 for some fun caching in the Southern state. Not sure if this is classed as a drive by LOL. TFTC
Made the stop on my trip for some snacks and drinks, but also time for a cache or 2. Managed to work out the path route to GZ and made a quick find once there. TFTC.
After completing the Apple today with Gridge98 on our way home stopped in to collect some caches!
Came down to finish off the Apple isle with JLROCKSTAR today! Was happy to find the ones I hadn’t found! Was so windy today and haled at one point! TFTC
#14380. Day 12 of our 3 week holiday in Tasmania. Today Robmc and I left our cute cottage in Oatlands and travelled north to Low Head. We enjoyed our stops at Tunbridge, Ross and Campbell Town, collecting a few caches and admiring the beautiful convict built bridges and architecture along the way.
This was our first stop for the day near the topiary birds in this pleasant park. Not quite sure I would call this a drive-by but I assume it has changed hiding place and certainly size over the years. Up the hill we trudged to GZ and soon Rob had the cache to hand. Some kind person has dropped in a new piece of paper to keep things going a bit longer.
Thanks Biggles Bear

Day twelve of our holiday in Tassie. Bettyboo3747 and I are traveling from Oatlands to Low Head.
Stopped in at the historical towns and admired all the convict buildings, and collected a few caches.
Our first for the morning. Woke up the legs with a short walk up the hill to an old cache.
Nice to see a 200ml micro in Tassie!
Thanks, Robmc.

Nice quick and easy find. Great to find such an old cache still active. Thanks for bringing us here and for the cache.
It is not often that I log caches found but I couldn't pass this one up. I am pleased to see such and old cache still active. Thanks so much. A favourite for surviving so long.
Well, the co-ordinates are spot on but I just couldn't find it, so I sat down to read some logs and looked around at an obvious pile of rocks (for a geocacher anyway) and easily found the cache. TFTC.

Thanks for the cache.
Found with EsromL on a brief visit to Tasmania from Adelaide.
I can confirm that it is definitely not an ‘Adealide style drive by’.
Thanks Biggles Bear for the cache.

Today we travelled from Hobart to Launceston and enjoyed stopping for your cache on the way.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo NOT a drive by though (and yes, I am from Adelaide). FINALLY found it!
Actually we stopped here for a picnic lunch of salads and apples - yum - such a lovely park nearby this cache to sit and relax in.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What a most unexpected little get away.....I needed some R&R and the lovely micaparamedic needed to cache in Tassie to meet a challenge cache's requirements, soooo a plan was quickly hatched and we were on our way.
Gary was good enough to do all of the driving (a real treat for me) so I just relaxed as we explored various beautiful locations that Tassie has to offer.....and we even picked up a cache or two. [^]
The weather was fantastic, the food was delicious, and I was delighted to catch up with some very special people.
Thanks so much for the cache Biggles Bear!

Finally got around to doing some logging. Travelling around in Tasmania and grabbing some caches along the way. TFTC
GPS wasn’t playing along so it was a bit tricky to find. Also recommend hiking boots and a dry day for this one!
Hi BigglesBear, thanks for this cache.
I was returning south, after a funeral service in Launnie this morning, and took the opportunity to stop here for a wee break. I headed up to this cache, but there were a young couple having a muggle snuggle by the tanks, so I left them to it. A bit disappointed, but then decided to go look for the other cache nearby.
Whilst there, the couple had returned to their car (possibly to the relief of their backseat passenger waiting patiently). So the coast was clear, and I headed back up and made a nice find, no snakes today.
Coincidentally, when I got home, and as I update this log, geoSon is watching a HarryPotter movie, with both snakes and muggles.
Thanks for the adventure.

I've come to Tassie from Sydney for 3 days just for the purpose of geocaching. I had 6 caches on my to do list to help complete my jasmer calendar and this cache was one of them. I found 2 yesterday in Launceston (where I am staying), DNF'd another one in Launceston and I have discovered that I will be ill equipped to get the other 2 on my list. So 3 out of 6 is a pass right? Quick search of the area and I had located this cache. SL #3219 on streak day #1833 TFTC
A little further to walk in flip flops than expected but a great place to break up the trip
Gave up on this one the very moment after i stepped on a tiger snake on my way to it. You can keep this one. Phew. Got the heart rate up a bit.
Had great intentions of finding and logging this as a FOUND, however after onthrun stepped ON a Tiger Snake.... all bets were off Heart pumping!!! Maybe another time.... thanks anyway.
Up and up! You need to fix your log book and a new plastic zip-lock would be good.
After 5 DNF's it was good to finally make a find. You get yourself in a bit of a rut when you have consecutive DNF's, not knowing if it's muggles or it's just taking a while getting your eye in for new CO's. It doesn't help either when there is only one able bodied looker in the team.. Nice to finally make a find. TFTC Biggles Bear
Not quite the drive by I expected but you certainly was the hot topic of conversation in the car for the rest of the trip to Hobart Biggles Bear. What a great way to put a break in your travels. Cache found in good condition. TFTC
What a great way to get out of the car and get some fresh air. Thanks Biggles Bear
Found it after a bit of bush bashing, then searching. Path to it is rather marked now days, and even the 'alternative' route shows signs of wear. Good footwear is sensible, since 'Sunday shoes' aren't made for finding this cache. Cache could do with relocating (to alleviate wearing tracks into the hillside) and a new container.
