This was again a great time to catch up with friends old and new. It is now time to put these memories into the safe box.

I was happy to be able to get back into caching for a day, even if it was only a social cache.
Great to see some new faces and the old faces.
Thanks Steve and Deb for putting it on.

Jade and I are going to try and attend. We are a bit rusty at this GPS thingo so I hope we can find the coordinates.
Nice to see the old faces, even those who have been unusually quiet of recent times) and the new cachers.. Not to mention putting faces to names that have been around for a while and finally made it to a pic-inic!!

Tony and Jade attended their 5th Queensland Geocaching picnic. Great to see geocaching is getting more and more people joining every month. Thanks to everybody that attended and thanks to Steve for organising the event. See you all again for the next picnic on March the 16th. Alby and Wendy will be hosting this one.
Nice to catch up with everyone today before the heaven opened up. Merry Christmas all and see you in the Autumn-time.

Event caches must be the easiest and most social way to log a find. Glad we were able to catch up with you all at this one.
Thanks, Alby & Wendy, for "putting your hand up" for the next gathering. See you all there.
Cheers from the Dohertys.

Thank y'all for a fun afternoon. Hope to be able to re-pay the hospitality in the future. You have a great tradition going here.
Hi Folks
I have been caching for 2 years now and finaly made it to a picnic. It was great to put faces to names after all this time. Reading and writing cache logs will mean much more to me now & I look forward to catching up again soon. Time permitting, I hope to set some more interesting caches in the near future.
Cheers for the season

An enjoyable day was had by all. Putting faces to names was great (that I could remember). Thanks Steve & Deb for preparing this and also thanks Alby & Wendy for nominating to host the next event. May I suggest name tags for future events, including username & Christian name, as it may make it easier for newcomers to integrate & socialize more effectively.
Great arvo, it was good to finally get to and stay at a picnic. We will see you all at the next. Thanks Steve..
I'm sorry to steal away a couple of your cachers. I was just researching my prospective finds for a Xmas trip up into my homeland when I spotted the event cache symbol.
Unfortunately Red Ochre Geocaching of Dubbo (Central NSW) will be holding the Beni Trophy Challenge and as I'm the organiser I won't be able to come up, as much as I'd like to, it sounds like a lot of fun.
We will be up there on or about the 22nd until the 2nd when we will be returning to Dubbo via Newcastle. If you jug works email me you coords and contact number and we'll try to drop in for a cuppa.

Hi all,
Andrew and Maryan are not going to be at this one as we are going to a gecaching weekend in Dubbo NSW. We will see you all at the Autumn picnic and will let you know what the southern geocachers are up to. Hope you all have a great time and a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in the New Year.

New to Geocaching, I'll try to get there as I should still be working here at that time. Sounds like fun
hi all, i relativly new to the game and would love to come along, i'll do my best to make it.
Looks like we might be able to make this, This time of year can be unpredictable, but we'll try. Looking forward to meeting fellow Cacher's. We love this sport and it will be good to put some faces to names... Fingers crossed we'll see you there.
First off...Konichiwa (That's hello in Japanese) to the Doherty's. I will be departing from Okinawa Japan and arriving in Brisbane on 8 December. I will be on a 400 mile bike ride to see the area (Thanks to Tom for the advise). I should be back in Brisbane around the 14th so I will try to make it. Sounds like a great time! Can't wait to hit a few caches!

Although I'm rostered to work on the 14th, I'll probably take the day off. So....subject to fitting around morning ballet and gymnastics commitments (the kids', not mine!), Team Manta will most likely be there.
