***** REVIEWER NOTE *****
Hi Artemiskid and the Gang
It appears that this cache has been inactive for quite some time. Is it going to be replaced or should it be archived to make room for possible future caches? If the cache owner does not contact me by 21 October, I'll assume the cache needs to be archived.
While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other cachers from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location. Also, if you haven’t done so already, please pick up any remaining cache bits as soon as possible.
I want to thank you for the time that you have taken to contribute to geocaching in the past and am looking forward to seeing your cache up and running in the future.
Thanks for your understanding,
Regards,
Zero Gravitas

Hi this Artemiskid owner of the Cache.
It looks like the Cache has been "Muggled" and is now closed, sorry about that.
Cheers Artemiskid and the Gang.

XC on the Southern Cross Road Rally with 120 other motorcyclists...
This is the third stop after West Cape and Cape Reinga..
Rode to base of hill and climbed the 751 steps..!!!! in leathers.!!! Tried to get GCMGWW but I think it has been muggled..
Looked for this one and found what I thought was the cache. A large ammo box.. No sign of any other container.. I looked for a while under the suggested flax bushes to no avail.. So if this isn't the cache I think it is muggled.
There was nothing in this container either.
So this is a "I think I found".
Couldn't write in the log.. there wasn't one.
But logged through travelling companions.
Recommend a maintenance visit.

Wind and driving rain up here, so we were the only ones. Still great up here in these conditions! Cache found after a lot of searching as GPS pointed in two totally different directions no matter how often we went back and forth. Clue a bit obscure, as pruned plants do grow! We were the first geocachers in 10 months! Locks like the time to avoid is the x-mas holidays Picked up travelbug and will place it in a more busy spot.
Unbeliveable number of people up here today. I didn't feel comfortable searching so sent the kids in and didn't look myself. I see that someone found it yesterday. Oh well - we will be back in a couple of years for another attempt. Thanks
What a hike! Loved the view. Ended up being the only cache we did on this tour of the eastern most part of the north island. I hope more cachers take the trip out to this remote corner.
Deniesel found this beautiful cache without having read the description nor the secret hint, just by the pure coordinates! It wasn't easy, but somehow, she sniffed it out. Thanks for the great location, this was our 12th find on our tour thru NZ. In: Debian TB, Out: NZ Keychain

The last time I was here was two years ago on the same 4x4 safari I was on this time. That time it was sunny and hot. This time it was rainy and cloudy. Lots of people around today, most from the same trip I was on. Pretty easy find in between watching out for others. TNLN logged visit.
Thanks
Thanks

Hi once again, as mentioned before I would check out the situation and was sorry to find the hiding place disturb.
We waited for most of the visitors to leave, having a closer look at the seen of the crime and found that a pre-new year clean up had taken place around the bench seat area.
While looking, met a young couple from Canada / Hamilton, we introduced them to the sport of caching and added a new element to their holiday.
We planted the cache in the same area, so no changes were required for your G.P.S.. Please read the ENCRYPTION for update information.
Cheers Artemiskid and the Gang.

As per other logs, we couldn't find it either. The area was nicely cleaned up.
How annoying it can be waiting for some muggles to leave the area. we thought that maybe they would get blowen off the top.
As Rick-a-mortis said, we believe it may have gone missing when the area was cleaned up.

Well what a cool place, I pushbiked al around the north and south islands when I was at school.
awesome day for a walk apart from the wind or was that gales. The muggles didn't help for a far away point we had to wait almost 1.5 hours to dive into the flax bushes between visitors.
We think that the cache has been taken away in a clean up as behind the seat has been trimmed and it looked as if the flaxes should have been up to the seat back, you may have to check this one as it has been a year since someone has found it.
cheers anyway from tgawookie & rick-a-mortis

Hot climb to the top, just got cache out when lots of people came up. Told one family about geocaching when they sat on seat next to me. Had to wait some time before cound hide it again , 4 kids running around light house, No swop.

Cloudless, scorcher day. Would have had better views if not for the heat haze. Had to wait for muggles to go.

Found a guy wandering around with a GPS at the Lighthouse.
He had never heard of Geocaching but was also looking for Kerosene Creek. I told him about this site and how he could find a Cache there.
The cache was an easy find and quite visible from the seat.
I hope I concealed it better. Many tourists at the cape today.
nothing traded

We went up all the stairs to the lighthouse but it was worth the effort. And the history of the lighthouse was interesting to read. The weather was really good and we had a beautiful day driving around the cape. TNLN

An easy find once I abandoned the GPS and decrypted the hint. Still lots of German tourists mixed with asians this time. I noted the deterioration of the information to log my nearby virtual cache. It may need to be archived soon. Took nothing but photographs & left only a log entry. Thanks, Neill
Puffed my way up the stairs to be greeted by a truley awesum view.....
another easy find
swapped nil
