No response from owners (and it's a vacation cache anyway.)

Alas no success after Sad after a tough bike ride into the wind. Searched every bush for half an hour - wonderful views. Suspect muggles have removed cache!

Flushed with my success at "Quokka Treasure" I hiked the next couple of kilometres to this lighthouse cache hoping for a repeat performance. Alas it was not to be. As per previous logs the coordinates had me nowhere near any staked bushes. Started a sweep of the area and checked many but regular arrivals of muggles meant my checking was less than thorough.

Left a little disappointed at the DNF but enjoyed the great views.

Found no problems on a caching day to Roto! Fantastic bike riding day, TNLN. Cheers

...great uphill ride and even greater views. The cache was easy to find, although, a bit off the posted coordinates.
T: Nothing
L: a cat pendant and a band-aid

P.S.
...I also did a little boo-boo Sad It was quite windy so I temporarily put the zip-bag that was containing the box in my pocket...you're guessing already... I forgot to put the box back in the bag... so for the next cacher, please, if you have a zip-bag at hand (or any other bag will help), take it with you to protect the box...

Stigma sleeping so I had a leisurely ride and uneventful time locating the second cache for the day. Spent some time looking at some of the history in the vicinity. Sorry I only brought some pink tape and exchanged it for a similar coloured golf tee. Knockout

The GPS was sending us behind the lighthouse. The cache was found pretty much as the hint said. Which was 29 metres away.

However the person before us was a muggle and has left a log stating they did not realise that the red box was part of a game until after they took it.

They returned the log book and supposedly all the stuff except the red box as their daughter took a liking to it as a lunchbox. So now the cache is a small icecream container in a plastic bag. I put it back where I found it but that is no guarantee that I got it right.

Took Nothing

Thanks

At this cache site, definitely watch out for snakes. Managed to find cache after hunting around quite a bit.
Met an old work buddy who was on a tour bus that arrived. Had a chat, showed them the snake that was hiding in a pile of rubble. It became aware of all the people and headed off for the safety of the bush.

Last cache for the day. Took us quite a long time to do this one as cyclists and tour buses kept turning up. In the end we managed to bag it without being spotted although I suspect people wondered why we were hanging around for so long.

Moved on and walked up to the "West End".

Our last cache of the day. We had to do this cache whilst we were in WA. I use the cache page for this cache as a clue for a cache in England; 'WA6025',GCK47J. We came up here, decided where the cache was and just as we were about to recover it 2 muggles arrived on a tandem. Then two of the tour buses arrived. Once they departed we were able to recover the cache and sign the log, but before we could rehide it two couples arrived on bikes. Once more we waited before we could get the cache back. Big Grin

Found as a joint exercise between the Paddy Trackers and Where's Wallys on a great 4 day holiday. Cache had taken in some water and didn't contain geocaching notice, so could probably do with a little TLC and maintenance. Windy as hell, great views and good exercise on the pushies. TNLN.

Oh wow this cache was a mission!

After riding all the way out there (killing ourselves on the hills and detouring past little salmon bay...) A couple of muggles followed us up to the lighthouse.. this was all fine, they left pretty quickly.. in fact right before a tour bus arrived... everyone got out.. and just as we thought they should be about to leave, ANOTHER bus arrived!!

So i took heaps of photos, and we wandered over to check out the army buildings on the adjacent hill - just as well, we were sitting near the house, checking out the view, and the heavens opened - if it wasn't for those tour busses, we would have been out in the middle of the island at this point - but we found a nice sheltered verandah at the house, and sat out the downpour.

the downpour scared off all the muggles, and we promptly went back up to the lighthouse for an easy find:)

Container was full of water, so i drained it out, took a marble and left a croc and something else... (the cold and rain froze my brain and erased my memories...).

Thanks for a great cache, the views here were FANTASTIC (even saw that evil rain heading towards us, and an amazing rainbow that ended on the ocean in this wonderful haze of light.

GeoTom and I (GeoDad) travelled by BaySeeker bus to the base of the lighthouse road. Hiked up the hill, nice view from the top. Found the cache using the modified co-ordinates of sweepy and varuna. Didn't realise how small the cache was until we arrived with a tennis ball to put in it, but it wouldn't fit. We took the mini adventure TB as private cars are not allowed on the island and left $1.50 ( all the change I had Sad ) GeoTom took some pictures and if they turn out OK we will try to post them. Great location for a cache. Thanks for the adventure.

11.30am: Found it perfectly with accordance to Sweepy's and coordin8z's coords. Travelled by Bayseeker bus and got off to walk up to Wadjemup Lighthouse (600 m away) to enjoy the beautiful 360 degree view. Left a new logbook and a snap plastic bag. Took nil. Thanks for great location.

Found it, completing all the caches on the island Smile The ride up was hard work. Lots of people around, difficult to remain unseen.

This was my second cache of the day. The GPS actually led me to the middle of the gravel area, so I looked at almost all the bushes around the perimeter before finding the right one. There was also a quokka right near it, so tht was fun to see. Took nothing, left nothing.

I did this cache with Sweepy and wife.
It was quite a walk from the bus stop, but once there the view was super. Had a little difficulty finding the cache as we thought the coords were slightly out, we had two GPSrs working on it. We think the actual coords are
S32 00.440 E115 30.271.
TN left calling card.
Thanks for the cache.

Should have trusted our instinct and gone for 'that' bush in the first place.
Lesson-look very carefully. First to find!!
We felt that the co ordinates should be slightly adjusted to s 32 00 440 E 115 30 271. We were 63 ft away from the cache at the coords on the sheet.
Lovely day, lovely location.
Thanks very much.
