That many unfounds without an owner check is not at all nice.
I didn't find it either. I think I was in the right place - but with reception like that who knows.

sorry everyone, cache has gone, and i don't have time to replace it at the moment.
Sadly as with the others, I did not find this one. The clues were useful but I too no longer think it is there. We did enjoy the New Years celebrations that were going on in the area though.
Had a go at this one with missleah, no joy with it. Even after a call for clues on the geo-phone to bigmickb didn't help. Maybe a cache check needed on this one.
Pretty sure I was in the right spot. 8:30pm and nobody about, had a real good look but could not locate this one
It ain't where it's supposed to be. Had a real good look and even got a hint. No luck. Perhaps a cache check?
The hint and cache name were both very helpful in finding this one. TFTC!

This was a bit of a challenge given the difficulty in accessing satellites but otherwise, a great hide. The log is definitely full. It needs replacement. There were lots of bystanders to dodge so I had to wear my sneaky eyes... Thanks, SWAG jord.

It's there alright!
I was in Sydney on a business trip and did a few caches before and after work - scouted it in the rain during the evening and was able to find it using the clue rather than the GPS, once I established the approximate location.
The cache is in good order although the sheet has been folded so many times that it will probably only survive the 4 or 5 blank spots left - it is nearly full!
I suggest that it might be a good time to drop in a new Log.

Did a quick check while going past-- it doesn't appear to be there, although I didn't get the time to check if it may have wandered to a slightly different spot.
Hmmm – quite a trick spot! I had looked here early on, but having not found it, I dismissed it. – Given that, neither the name or the clue helped. However, persistence payed off, and I found it eventually! I think it needs a new log sheet… TNLN. Thanks SWAG jord.
Satellites sure suck when geocaching in urban areas. Gps had us 100 meters away at one point. Thank god for the hint.

Found this one on a holiday together with my cache buddy Marcel.
As I use my own account nowadays, I really like to log this special one too.
And it is not only special because it's a long way form home, but also because I found it on my birthday.

Spent some time narrowing down the location with GPSrbouncing but found and logged then waited for Sacada to come along. Gave up and went back to last place I saw him and met up and followed him to Cache. first for the day rest of the day was 2 out of 5 attemps so dissapointing.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
Satellites make it tough on this one... but yep... we found it. Great spot and easy to avoid the muggles. TFTC. TNLN.
This was my first geochache ever!! The GPS reception is sketchy and had me going in circles for a while, but once I found a place to sit down and think it practically showed up in front of me! Be carefull because people do tend to congregate at this spot, for some reason. Very excited to find my first one and very motivated to look for more!
This Minnesota gal is happy, to record this one, as my last geocache find in Australia!! This one took me awhile, but I finally found it. Thanks millions!!! I enjoyed the challenge.
My second find!! Would have been my first but for the following very important mishaps:
a) being so new to this sport, I was trusting my GPSr a little too much & began searching in the vicinity of San Francisco. Reading through the logs, all clues were twisted in my warped and, now fevered, mind to 'prove' my location as correct
b) I translated the hint in my head & subsequently spent many fruitless attempts looking for a tap. I found many, many taps and several 'taps'. After discovering my mistake I knew exactly where it was. "This is in the bag," I thought.
Which leads to:
c) Muggle-timing. They seem to swarm from nowhere when I near GZ. I need an invisibility cloak.
d) Bad acting. Faking a heart-attack in order to replace a cache is a bad idea - it just attracts more attention. (No I didn't really - but I don't think any really believed that I had just decided to sit there & read in that icy wind).
I promise to improve.

While we were sitting down waiting for some satellites I looked around and everything seemed to fit the hints, so I had a little bit of a search around and there it was.

A tricky urban cache, in a very busy location.
It took me two attempts to find this one. GPS reception ranges from very bad to non-existent.
I started looking on Sunday afternoon but there were too many muggles around to search properly. Like many others I missed the cache when I first searched this area.
After reading the clue, I came back early Monday morning. There fewer people staring at me and I managed to find the cache straight away.

Second find of the day (our anniversary ) (geepers, and you go geocaching then?!?) We walked past it a first time (with hardly any reception) when looking for a place to eat. After dinner, we tried again, this time I started walking nearer to the road and we had quite ok reception, excellent. The clue gave it away, so in the end it was a quick and easy find. We really enjoyed it, this is what we call a real urban cache!
With the help of the hint we found this one without to much trouble. Great day for caching.

In Sydney for a week of caching from the UK on the pretence of attending a company conference.
I'd been searching for this mid-afternoon without success.
GPS reception is very weak in the area, but there's enough, when combined with the cache name and/or the clue to work out where it is. It was a bit too busy mid-afternoon to search thoroughly. As I'd walked into a door at the Cargo Bar on Wednesday night I had a huge black eye - seemed to me that I'd be perceived as a druggie looking for a stash, so was reluctant to search too hard.
Went to a colleague's leaving dinner that night and we ended up in Golden Century. Leaving at midnight we (me plus a virgin cacher) passed the cache - I was quite surprised - and found easily.
I thought that the clue was misleading so replaced the cache in a different location (around 30cm away) to where I'd found it, but which is where the clue says it should be.Hope this is OK

Went in to darling harbour for the home show this afternoon so had to do a couple of caches. The gps lost it once in amongst the buildings but soon found something matching the description.
Not THAT Summit -- very confusing for native Sydneysiders. Took the combined brainpower and observation skills of three people to find (plus suicidal walking-down-the-middle-of-the-road-to-get-GPS-reception behaviour from Cal).
I thought that this cache would be easy but I was mistaken. I found a mention of a summit and I think I was west of it but that about as far as I got. I know I got a fair few weird looks from passers by I put up with it
I will be back for this chap.

Our last successful find after a very long day of caching. we went straight to this one. it was very very handy to have street maps on our GPS as we had next to no reception the entire time. the cache was well hidden and took a little while to grab. there was a couple of people sitting down near the road but they seemed to involved in flirting with each other to pay any attention to us.
1st attempt GPS got me to the general location and then ran out of time. 2nd attempt went commando for a quick lunch time fix and located it in minutes.
Took 2 tries for this one. Friday night was a mass of people and couldn't search that well. Sunday a.m. went right to it. Interesting little spot, and great for a cache. TFTC, haven't had much satisfaction with these city micros, so I was glad for a find. GPS is all over the place and in and out with all these buildings.
Took us a little bit due to jumping gps. Clues finally lead us to the right spot. Great first find in a foriegn country.
Will head out for another to drop off TB's tomorrow.

Third time lucky for this one. C.J.B. did what none of us had done before and actually reached into the gap. He found the cache right away. Very clever container. Thanks SWAG jord.
Difficult to get a gps lock, but located eventually with use of the clue. Spent a while trying to retrieve without raising suspicion from the locals.
thanks for the cache

Well finally, a cache that is actually accessible.!
after 2 other DNF because of extenuating circumstances, this was a releif to find.
very good location, intresting littl area of china/old sydney town.

Paxeiro, Kelvin and I couldn't find this one, even though we tried the clue. The GPS coverage was poor, so maybe we were looking in the wrong place.
Tried last night for this one but was unable to look due to high muggle traffic nearby. The GPS was all over the place and nowhere at all, so I decrypted the clue. I knew where to look but had to leave it until tonight.
With the poorer weather, muggle numbers were way down, and a quick search revealed the cache. GPS again had little or no idea of where to look, but the clue from last night was all that was needed.
Thanks for the cache.

yeah found it without the hint... standard style of cache for an urban offering in these parts
"Breakfast cache" at 7 am, when there weren't too many muggles around. Needed hint. Has anyone found it without?

After trying to find a parking spot on a Sat night either in Darling Harbour area or in the lower city, we gave up and as we drove past, 3 of us jumped out commando style and raided this one.
We did our best to look like a drug deal was going down in the back alley and after signing the log somewhere on the page, we placed it back and called Swampy to come pick us up. As traffic was so slow, he had only moved a hundred feet down the road so we remounted our vehicle and off we went.
Cheers

After leaving Giba we planned on doing a few city caches but the lack of parking put paid to the plan. The Webguy troupe and I bailed out near this one, leaving the chauffeur to inch his way along with the traffic while we found and logged the cache. Webguy jnr did the honours, we signed the log, replaced the cache and walked the 50 or so metres to Swampy's current position in the linear car park.
No problem with parking, I just turned into the lane and parked at the summit. Plenty of muggles about but were all too wrapped up talking on mobile phones or other business.
Found this one with Alsume at 20:30:30 (he found it, I filled in the log ). What a great little hide. Pity I forgot to bring my 3 TB travelling companions as they would have loved the extra kms.
Thanks SWAG jord.

What a great day to go caching. Not too difficult to secure except for the fact that gps coverage was a bit of a pain.
nice one.. well placed, had no trouble finding it, very cool way of attaching the cache to the surroundings.
excellent cache for my first ever find
excellent cache for my first ever find
This was a pretty tricky find.. All the urban canyons had my poor GPS12 confused to all heck, even out in the open! The last 50 metres of walking was done by extrapolation of our course due to loss of signal, before my GPS gave up in frustration.
Nevertheless, it wasn't too hard to find (with the help of the clue!)
Thanks!

7:45am First cache in Australia! Not a great fan of urban micros, but this was only 500m from Hotel. TFTC
Found at 9:55am.
Good hide SWAG jord. Overshot the mark eastward by some distance, which was lucky as the name makes sense when the cache is approached from the east. GPS reception was crap in the shopping arcade so it took sometime to recover once back outside. Found cache in spot I had looked at once already, obviously did not look hard enough.
Thanks SWAG jord.

Mrs Rat was right on the money with this one and we quickly knabbed this cache.... Clever little spot.
In town to see Cirque du Soleil and staying just around the corner. I wish I'd had the hint for this.
GPS was playing up badly around here, so plotted it onto a map, and wandered around until it made sense.
had a great feed in a nearby chinese restaurant, a great area to wander around at night, thanks.

A double first! Our first urban cache find, and our first micro cache find! GPSr all over the place until within 40 feet and then pointed straight to spot! Needed clue but thankfully not many people around. Thanks!
Luckily my GPS has a basemap with all the city streets, so while technically I didn't use the satellites having the GPS itself helped to get my bearings . Once we were at the spot it was pretty logical to find since we had read the clues.
r2c11e and I read the logs carefully, studied the map and understood where we were going without needing a GPSr. On arrival, the cache revealed itself after careful inspection. Very clever stash, thanks.
Being a city worker I love these urban caches. Bainsworld and I, read up on this one over coffee, figured out our strategy and then took a stroll from the other end of the city. Thanks to the clues in previous logs we found this relatively easily. Lots of muggles about so I had to pretend I had a rock in my shoe to give me a cover to replace cache. Great hiding spot well done SWAG jord, Thanks.
Found it after a thirty minute search, should have read the clues. Great little spot, thanks SWAG jord. Regards Philma.
Was a little hard to pick up a clean signal, but with not much to go on, Team Boyaa found it nice one
the etrex had a bit of a hard time finding this one, but it got us there in the end!

I thought I had logged a previous DNF for this one but looking back through the logs, I guess I didn't.
I was stumped on two previous visits back when I had only found 10 caches or so, this time I had it located within 30 seconds!
Nice one.

Got to town with an hour to kill, so I went for the nearest cache. Walked straight to GZ and then the name made sense.
Log completed and I still have 30 mins to kill.
Well done SWAG jord.

A real nitty gritty city cache if ever there was one. We pondered for a short time before finding the Summit, then all became clear. Not too many passers-by at night either. Took a look; left our mark. Thanks Jordy.
Pulled the car right up to this one. Very sneaky hidey spot. Thanks for the nice quick cache.
GPS reception was hopeless, so the first thing I did was turn off the GPSr and put it away. The second thing I did was to spend about 5 minutes looking for likely hiding spots on both sides of the street; but I came up dry. I couldn't figure out why the cache was so named.
Then I decrypted the hint, and it all fell into place. This is my first Sydney cache (and the first of seven for the day). TNLNSL.

Even though I work in the CBD I have never before ventured over to try to find this cache.
As we were in the city today doing a spot of shopping (bought a couple of nice warm jumpers from the sale at Grace Bros - yes I still call it that) so I decided to pop over and have a quick look.
Lucky I had OziCE with me, as the reception at GZ was poor. My map led me pretty close, and after thinking about the clue we had the cache pretty quickly. Hecta and I appreciated this cache, as it reminded us of Eagle Rock.

A nice little cache to start the day off with after obtaining a US Work Visa.... A Government passport is a wonderful thing in and out in under an hour, more that what i can say for the rest trying to obtain "normal" visitor visas.....

Had to pace count this one out from the corner to get to general location.
Very tricky, busy cache.

Easy find after a wander around the block sorting out the week signals. Thanks Jord
Back in the city and would you believe, I forgot my GPS.
Anyway the cache was found very quickly, took it for a walk to write in the log, then putting it back I pretended to be tying up my shoelace, but my shoes don't have laces...

Found this one without the use of a GPS. Just used oziexplorer maps and the clues given. Had to wait for the right time to get the cache without being seen. Well thought out cache.
Second cache of the day... needed some patience to find unobserved moments to retrieve and return the cache... perfect water break time.
2nd cache for the day, the GPSr led us right to the spot (even down in th canyon). We sat on the hill waiting for the security guards to be distracted (I think they were just on their lunch break). Acting nonchalant, lounging, spotted itm signed it and slipped it back home.
Seriously urban - nice spot.

got to the summit... almost to the top...

After reading the logs and plotting the site on the mapsend software, I went for this one without the GPS drove past the site found parking went into stealth mode grabbed the cache, filled in the log and returned the cache all in about 5 minutes.
Easy to find this little cache. GPS was next to useless. Needed some hints from Sandyfeet. Then it was obvious.
Thanks guys.

Yes! At last, a successful days caching in Australia. This was my last day before flying back to England and I wanted to make amends for my dismal 2 caches from 7 attempts in the previous few weeks.
This was my first of four finds today (7 attempted), and it was the quickest. I had established that I was unaware of a certain way of hiding caches, and this was one of three hidden this way. An easy find... when you know how ;o)
Thanks for the cache! TNLN.

Managed to scale the dizzying heights near the summit, desipte leaving the rock climbing gear at home. After reading Tangles and GEK's logs, plotted this on the map at home before going out and found it without switching on the GPS. Nifty little hidey hole, Mr Swag Jord! Love your work!
Another fail I'm afraid. This was my third failed to find out of seven attempts so far this trip to Australia from England. Looked in places where I thought it could be, but the signal was non-existant around GZ and I have no maps of the area so gave uo looking after about 20 minutes.
Tangles' co-ords were spot on. I've logged the equivalent WGS84 coords. Even without them any eager lad or lass should be able to spot the clues.
Best advice I can give: forget about trying to use your GPS to find GZ - it will just frustrate you. Look it up on a map first, then come to the area prepared to do some leg work scouting the entire area.
By George! It's an easy climb to the summit.
I'd love to get a copy of the detailed map that Tangles used. No map I looked at had the Summit marked.

What does canyoning and caching in the city have in common? GPSr don’t work very well if at all in both locations.
Plotted the position at home and noted the mistake and just like looking for an exit route for a canyon a bit of detail map reading soon had the likely location identified.
So it was just a matter of nicking down during a free lunch break and after a quick search had found the cache.
No GPSr was used to find this cache but the following
co-ordinates where taken from a map. 333849E 6249886N Aus66.
