Went to WP1, gathered the info and put the new coords into the Garmin. Off to GZ where we found a boulder, but nothing found under or around it. Had a really good search but nothing found. It's either VERY well hidden or, as I suspect, it's gone. Despite the lack of a cache the nice views from the lookout are worth the visit.
It is all over grown and covered with glass and rubbish. We couldn't see the path because of a fallen tree.
It's really overgrown now with a fallen tree which might have covered it.
It's a lovely spot on top of the hill, but underneath, near the LZ, is now broken glass and other rubbish.
Would love to find it as it's quite a challenge to eben find the path now...
This morning I needed 2 more multis to get to 100, it was the goal of the day so to speak. I was in the area so I thought a trek to the lookout would be a worthy cache to help get me there. I grew up a few kilometres south, and surveyed this point from my high school in Balgowlah during a science lesson, but I can't remember ever coming up here.
At the zenith, there was a young mam practising martial arts moves. I gathered the info and made the calculations. It was then a bush bash to GZ, lots of fallen trees and scrub. The cache was found and logged, it is a great place to come. TFTC The Regiate Squires

Tried to do it hardcore a couple of weeks ago and couldn't find it. Came back today with the whole Geofamily and the GPS was failing. Guess it was back to hardcore style again. Found A geocache, but not sure if it was it or not judging by one of the pictures. Could someone please clarify by the picture below? No log so couldn't mark. Thanks!
Started this one ages ago but it was night and I didn't feel like a Bush bash in the dark. Turned out to be a good choice add it is tricky footing to GZ. Recently I moved to Beacon Hill so this became my closest to gone and therefore hag to be cleaned up. Top cache and a beautiful lookout. Favourite point added Cheers!

Great views. Took geodude and his older brother. The older brother is at an age where it is difficult to impress him but even he was mightily impressed by the view.
There is no clear track from the waypoint to the cache so the final part is not suitable for kiddies. Plus the area seems to have become a bit of a dumping ground.
The cache was in good condition and easily found when I got to the GZ. TFTC

Failed miserably on first attempt, got the co-ordinates wrong and ended up stumbling through the bushes in the dark. Came back during the day and checked the info on the plaques, found it easily.
I've been driving past here for months, thinking I didn't have time for a multi, but today I did.
Took one of the more adventuorous routes, up from the park and was surprised when the well-painted, 70s-vintage trig came into view. One of the few that hasn't been surrounded by bush, this one has great views in most directions.
Collected what I hoped were the right numbers, plugged them in and headed down the only thing resembling a track in that direction. The numbers must have been good enough as I soon had the cache. SL and dropped a TB.
Thanks for the view and cache.

As per usual we took the hard way in after not seeing the parking area and entrance! We enjoyed the fine views up top and collected our info. Unfortunately a minor reading mistake has me a bit off. All sorted once we took the time to read the plaque more carefully! It's always the way....
Back off the top and straight to the cache this time! Excellent cache thanks.... Also left a w6r pathtag.

We look for the first clues back in April when we didn't have a GPS, and finally today we went back and found it ! TFC.
tftc tnln sl took me about 30mins worked out the cords found the track easy looked low then high then keeped looking until i found gz good hide cords for me where a bit out should have stuck to the cords and not head back to the top to check if i worked it out right cache is damp and in good order
Found after a bit of a scramble. The cache was fine but the log rather damp and difficult to sign. Accomplished with persistance. TNLN. TFTC.
Found after a false start down what looked like a trail that might wind around to GZ. Eventually just climbed down the boulders to make a quick find. Left a GC. TFTC
We found it! Finally! This was our third time searching. Decided to try another route to the Geo-site.....ahhhhh.....that's where it was....
Very peaceful location

To complete the Jasmer Challenge you need to find a cache that was placed in each of the months since geocaching began in May 2000. Obviously the oldest ones are harder to get but surprisingly caches hidden in November 2003 are also exceedingly rare in the Sydney region. Today I was over at Narraweena so I took the opportunity to tick this box and enjoy the view again.
We'd been here some months back to log the trig but didn't know a cache was nearby as it was a multi. Today I did the sums and headed in the right direction just as a group of lads (school hols) made the summit. Caution was needed to approach the GZ so I circled a bit before heading in. The track is quite hard to spot at the start but then becomes apparent. Found it after a short search, a nice hiding spot for a replacement cache. Signed the log and replaced. Good old Governor Phillip!
Thanks!

GC Find #905 , and the only one for the day.
Having been working nearby today, I jumped at the chance to finally get this one done after my previous trick of not even noticing it on the GPS last time when I logged the 2 GCA trig caches.
Having been here before I knew where to go for WP1, and very quickly worked out the coords for GZ.
Once the track was located, it was not hard to get to GZ, although the return was easier avoiding the fallen tree.
No trading, but took the Zodiac Geocoin that had been recently left there.
nice spot, thanks.

'bout time I did this one. Tried it a few years back, guess we were barking up the wrong tree. Reasonably quick find in the rain this arvo, cache is still in good condition. Dropped off a Zodiac TB too.
Cheers!

I was convinced we were looking at the wrong location but no - its there - you just need to do a bit of scrambling. Left toy soldier picked up from cache no. 3 today. All in all a very satisfying geocaching day - picnic at the top was ace.
I stopped and did the 2 GCA trigs, but did not realise there was a multi here as well, drat! (the symbols overlay each other on the GPS)
Ah well, next time.

This is what Geocashing is all about. Interesting location, well thought out puzzle, a bit of a challenge and a good hide. Really enjoyed this cache. Thanks. SL.
Really fun! Found it with zargfinders. First time using my new gps. Way easier.

Solved the clues, but then ran round in circles looking for the track. Eventually found a way down and joined it. Super loud crickets chirping was the only noise early this morning. TNLN. TFTC
Found the track easliy and eventually found the cache (helps if you read the clues corectly and "subtract"rather than "add"). TFTC
Second cache for the day. I hadn't been to this look out in an age. I screwed up my basic maths but got there eventually. Loved the clues.
had the wrong co-ordinates the first time so had to go back today with success.
Geo-grand-kids had a good time again.
Left Snoopy dog on a string and took The Travel bug JAFFR3 dog for a walk.

Lucky to find the track leading to this cache, found after a bit of bush bashing and a lucky guess. Was fun to solve clues to reach final destination!
I origanaly had 3 final GZ's with my calculations, so I used the force and found it, thus relising it was my last calculation that was corect.
Then riding home I rilised where I went wrong.
This was my second attempt at this so I was not giving up.

Been searching for this one for a while, this is my second visit. Found it after re calculating and searching the bush.
This is an amazing spot to see just about everything! We parked in the carpark off the main raod and walked up to the lookout where we had lunch. There was a fabulous cool breeze blowing and we gathered the numbers and calculated GZ. Tried following the offshoot track and ended up wandering in a bit think scratchy stuff not quite on target so we went back to the top to check our maths. That turned out to be correct but this time we headed straight to GZ from the flagpole and it was much better - more direct and less likely to wander into the thicker stuff by mistake along the way. It didn't take long to spot the likely hiding spot this time and we left the Koala TB to have a few eucalypt leaves here for dinner. He's pretty close to home in Cremorne now, will he make it there on his next hop?

What a great view from up here. I used to live at Harbord (now called Freshwater) but never made the walk up the hill to this lookout. It took me a couple of goes to find GZ but knew I was on the right "track" from the updated information. I soon had the cache in hand. I left a gold pirate coin and took the $50 Geocash keyring TB to continue its journey.
A very enjoyable multi. TFTC

Great views from up here this evening. This will be heavily populated on New Years Eve!
Locating the maths bits and pieces was not difficult. I agree with the view that no rock hopping is required. I came up from the car park below and spotted what seemed like a path but dismissed it. Whichever way you look at it, you have to go off track to locate the cache, but hey, it's not like we have all not had bogus descriptions before. We got there in the end.
Thanks for bringing me here to this top spot. No swaps with me though.

Yay, found 2nd time around with a little bit of help. We've wanted to do this for quite a while so was pleased to find it, nice shiny new box and log should be good for a few more years yet. Took Fire Engine and started off Geo Cash TB.
Thanks for this cache, we enjoyed it. Well this time at least. [;-)]

Thanks to those reporting a waterlogged cache. We have replaced the box with one of those new-fangled four-clip thingies and replenished the goodies inside.
We may later replace the original log for those interested in archeology, once it has dried out.
Please also heed updated description above about the march of nature.
The hillside area used to be a bit of a community bushcare project, but obviously hasn't been cleared for some time.
The lookout, though, is still kept up nicely, with a flag flying most days.
And the view...well, that's still inspiring.

Didn't find it but, wasn't far off by all accounts. Should have read the clue. Will be returning very soon. The Governor is obviously getting in the Christmas spirit though.

Cache did involve some bush bashing, but there is a kind of path which will take you within about 10 meters of the final cache. From then on it is bush bashing.
Great fun. Thanks

This was our first Multi and good fun, we shall do more....
Nice and simple clues led us straight to the cache although did a double check as the part about being all on the trail is way out! had to bush bash all the way from the look out to GZ.
The log is still wet although with my own pen managed to sign log.

Lovely views and a bit of history thrown in as well. Found but too wet to sign log. Lid was not secured properly? TFTC
The lid was not fitted correctly and water has got in. Log is too damp and pens won't work.
Got there in the end. Had to abandon the kids though ! Not sure about "no rock-hopping or bush bashing, just stick to the paths and trails". Maybe there once was a trail, but there's no evidence of it now !
Great views, lovely place for a picnic. Thanks
PS: The contents were damp. Sealed up as best I could but I think the container is past it's best.

Our main purpose for visiting here was the waymark (trig point) nearby. Having read the cache description and logs it seemed like an interesting one.
So off we went on a warm day to the top of the hill. The views were great, but the sun beat strong. So it was quick trip to the plaques, key in the coords into the GPS and then off to find it.
Cache was found quickly, but the contents were very damp and the pen didn't work. Without our pen it when had to leave our 'mark' in the logbook. Suggest using a container with a rubber seal to keep the moisture out.
A great location for a geocache.

I was eatting a very late lunch close by and decided to hit atleast one multi-cache for the day. The WPs weren't too difficult to work out. The views were great. I usually dislike multis but this one was worth doing. The log is soaked and should be replaced.TFTC
Thx Diego for the co-ordinates... it took me 3 attempts to this one. Nice cache, unfortunately it was all wet and the pens didn't work. Needs a bit of TLC.

I came to this one on the way back from the beack. The track was indeed overgrown and it was quite a challenge to walk it in sandals and shorts. I've added a waypoint to the beginning of the track. Took the geocoin. Dropped a frog and a croc.
Have driven past a few times over the last year for work but never had the chance to stop. So today on the way to the beach to cool off was a good opportunity. Took a little while before I spotted the 2nd plaque and then I was off. Found the somewhat overgrown pathway in and quickly had the cache in hand.
Took TB, left Geocoin. Things slightly damp inside but not too bad. Thanks Reigate Squires, then it was off to Dee Why (how do they justify parking fees at beaches anyway?)

Had a bit of a bush bash! View amazing-have been a beaches girl most of my life and never been there. First multi tasker.
Tried about 4 different ways to get to this before we discovered the "path" down to this one. Like the last entry said, it is pretty overgrown. Just a tiny repeat hint for others - you don't need to climb down the cliff to find this one =)
We liked the clever directions to WP2.
There was no standing water but contents (including log) were still pretty damp. Took armstrong bracelet, left Googly Eyes.

Nice views of the distant ocean from the top of the hill. After plotting GZ we initially tried one track which went through a hobo's camp but in the end did not take us to the cache. Returned and went a more direct route which was easy enough and were soon carrying out the cache duties. Good lookout.
Nice multi. WP2 took a bit of finding, especially to find the start of the track. Awesome view from the lookout; you can see a really long way. Container and contents are a bit damp.

It's been a long time since this cache was last visited, and the track is a little overgrown. Nevertheless, the cache is still there, albeit a little damp. I drained the water from the container, but didn't have time to leave everything out to dry thoroughly.
There's all sorts of trinkets in the cache - I took nothing and left nothing.
Another interesting spot that I'd never bothered to visit in all the time I've lived on the Northern Beaches.

This was meant to be a quick last cache of the day just before sunset. Unfortunately I think any track that was there before is now overgrown. We didn't feel like bush bashing in the dark (especially when it says you shouldn't need to) so we gave up. We did manage to catch a magificent sunset from the lookout though, unfortunately I left the camera in the car.
