yes... it appears that it has vanished again, it will be disabled until we find a different place in the park to hide a new one....third time lucky, we hope.
Could not find the cache at the expected co-ordinates, though I did see some ideal hiding places.
I just read all the logs talking about snakes and feel rather lucky given some of the paths I took

We did the math at both way points and went on to GZ.
From reading the other logs we know we are in the right place.
It is very very dry and the grass is very crunchy underfoot.
Looked around for about 30 minutes but were unable to locate the cache. We did however find a lot of tracks and rabbit holes. No sign of any snakes but I am sure they are there somewhere.
We will watch this cache and return another time.
Thanks Team Frogger

A quick find saw us collect the SEDeath cache this afternoon. This was our second go at this one. There were more muggles on bicycles than at the velodrome!!.

Another day, a diffferent result! This time the gps took me staight to it and in the light it was oh so easy! T Nothing, Left Goat. Thanks Team Frogger.
Found at 3:55pm. Found accompanied by GeoDano and the GeoMrs as navigator and scribe. 2nd find for our usual weekly expedition. Just goes to show you, you should always leave the seat down (though usually failure to comply results in deafness - from the telling off - not death). Interesting concept of death, nice walk in the park, and we were not dead tired to find it.

Got there after the park closed (at 4pm) but walked in anyway! Found the interesting answers to the questions and then went off to gz, where I got just as it was getting dark. Spent some time searching around with two torches, including in the big tree, but to no avail. If was found recently and there were no particular sings of disturbance so presumably it is still there. Will have to try again!
Have ventured to this park many times on bike-rides,walks etc but decided to enter from the other end. With the the first location found, grabbed the clue and would never guessed in a hundred guesses the "who will die" answer at the seat.Treked off to next spot and could now see the cache name idea! Then to GZ and pottered around for a few minutes in snake country before nabbing the hidden stash .Great story thru the bush multi, nice flat walk ,great remote final location and many thanks to Team Frogger for the challenge.Found at 5.15 pm and TNLN !

A very interesting concept for the wps - and most interesting solutions too . I was on my motorbike today and was able to feel quite securely protected by heavy boots, leathers and gloves while poking around for the cache - even though it's the middle of winter, those snakes have to hibernate somewhere and it sure looks like prime snake real estate . The tree near the cache hide is pretty awesone - surely it can't stay up for much longer!

I can't believe that this has been visited since it's replacement. So we get to score a first to log in the new book (hey we'll take anything we can get!). Yeah, looked at the grass and thought hmmmm snake heaven...I don't think they're too active in winter...still big heavy steps and lots of thrashing around as we walked in. Due to the threat of rain and it being really cold and windy...we had the place to ourselves completely.

Hope that this one doesn't disappear like the old one.

Looking at the cache description, I had no idea what the answers could be. An interesting short walk, and a good hide. (I must admit I looked inside first.)

Very interesting. I was fearing for my life doing this cache. I had nearly steped on a snake doing another cache in this park today and the grass here was out of control.
Death by snake bite.
Thanks.

Third for the evening after working in the area all day. Great park, it deserves some more searching another day. Loved the clue, it really had me guessing and I was way off! What magnificent trees they all were once. Sad to see them dead. The cockatoos were out in force screaching "What are you doing?" but I only had to avoid one muggle.
Took something (can't remember what) and left a little soft toy (a bear or a mouse) which I collected out of a cache in the Dandenongs which had travelled from Vienna. Although not a travel bug I felt he deserved to travel the country and I've been waiting for a cache big enough to hold him. Thanks Team Frogger for a big cache and an enjoyable find.

Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan walked and walked and walked until we found this cache.
This cache has been on our to do list for some time now and earlier this evening it seemed like a good time.
All up the excercise took around one and a half hours and was enjoyed by all.
Thanks Team Frogger this is my style of cache (needed more hills)but it was fun, accurate and enjoyable
Taken- Screwdriver, Left- Lanyard, cloth badge, temp tatto, and australia souvenier ashtray.

Female cache hunter wasn't too keen to trek through the long grass - it was up to the male to convince her it was all for fun! Not many people around so could happily track this one down.

Found cache on visit from Central Queensland. Nice quiet part of town. Beautiful day. Took the gecko to give him a new home and left a badge and a carabiner as a link to geocachers everywhere. Thanks to Team Frogger - Lex.

Decided on doing one for today, but hmm I think I left my brains home today. First off I forgot to add the 23, but didn't notice my mistake because I stumbled quickly on the answer nearby. After I fogot to take away 18 and it left me on the wrong side of the track. I saw some tracks people have made in the grass but with no luck I called up D from team rabbitto. He told me what to look for but still no luck. A second call and then it dawned on me that I made 2 silly mistakes and hadn't noticed it. It was an easy find once my maths was done right. Thanks from M.B Took a party popper and left a butterfly hair clip.

Hmm... I think Team Frogger are going a bit batty sending us into a toilet block... [xx(]
Anyway, ran in ran out and heading off to the next point, popular park, there was people all over the place.
Once again in this park the GZ stood out, and like a few others I looked in the obvious but wrong place first
Cache is in good condition. I grabbed out Otto the pipe and the poncho, leaving behind a personal fan.

Found at about 4:30pm Another one that has a problem with his maths. Need to really work on my + and - signs. Problem was that there appeared to be a "cache track" in to the wrong spot. Quite a few people around, must have been wondering why this guy was taking photo's of all the dead trees. Left TB Otto the pipe, took nothing.

Found at 2.15pm while still on my lunchtime break (better get back quick). Great place Froggers. It was a bit swampy where I was walking and I was hoping to spot a real frog. Took: Tennis ball, Left: Stabilo pink highlighter.
18:47 Found with Loonster just after sunset. We drove to the car park closest to this cache however the ranger was closing up for the evening so we headed on over to the northern car park a couple of k's away. We went and found Rumpletweezer and couldn't leave this one behind, so we made the hike over. I managed to bugger up a couple of calc's. First forgot to add 23, corrected that then forgot the sub 18. Corrected that. You think I would learn from a mistake [:o)]. We found the cache and swapped a SES magnet for a CD. Thanks Team Frogger.
Found at 18:47 with sikma. Mmmm few words with sikma cause he wouldn't listen to me. I told him he was wrong. still it was good fun.
My First ever Geocache - this park is like my backyard, I'm here at least one a week - and must have walked past this geocache a thousand time. Didn't find this too hard - short search Took a Caclucator and left a music CD.
Thanks for a good Cache Frogger - and a good introduction to the sport.

Found by The ELTHAM Mob on a pleasant Sunday morning after spending most of the night watching the Olympics - Ozi Ozi Ozi, Oi Oi Oi!! I used to do a bit of x-country running in this park so this area brings back good memories; although after only a few hours sleep I am not up to running this morning
T: Scented Pillow (Which I have been informed is a teapot trivet?)

My last and 6th cache for the day. Arrived at the park at 3pm with plenty of time before the gates lock at 4pm. Collected the 1st clue and promptly calculated wrong, 2 times. How sad is that?
Found the 2nd clue and I was on my way.
Cache was found at 318pm. Swapped a party popper for a man in a parachutte.
Thanks for bringing me back to this park Team Frogger always nice to revisit.

Found on 31/07/04 at 1330 AEST. 4th of 7 forthe day with Facitman. If only we'd checked "nearest waypoints" when we approached Rumpletweezer we would have found this first . An error in addition resulted in us being about 25m from GZ but a re-think resulted in a find of a noce large cache.

Found 1:30pm by Facitman and Rhinogeo, 4th for the day.
Rhino and I kicked ourselves after approaching this cache while searching for Rumpletweezle. Arrived at first co-ordinates and moved through clues towards GZ. A typical maths error resulted in a bit of unnecessary cross country travel but once we remembered how to perform basic addition we arrived at GZ and found cache.
Tool small screwdriver and left scented bean-bag (taken by Facit-family from their first ever cache, about time it went back into circulation)

Holy snapping ducks beaks Batman, who thought there was so much death in one park.
I was quite fascinated with the clue at the first waypoint. I would never have thought that would happen. A very cool set of clues though.
The cache was located after trudging through the knee high grass (I see the rain has done wander for the grasses here) and banging my head trying to see what was going on in the most likely spot.
A very large cache it was indeed, but well concealed.
I took a Pony Unicorn thingy and a Hairclip.
I left a Paratrooper and a Strechy Lizard (he looked at home in the grass around here).
Thanks for a very cool set of clues and a good cache.

Very pleasant bike ride to 1st of two caches. Found it fairly quickly. Probably not seen by anyone on foot or bike, but there was a lot of aerial surveillance. We like this place so much that we decided to leave the other cache for another time.
Took Clicker and Sticker, left Kid Creole.

I have been curious about this rather morbid cache for a while! I was very amused to see what the first clue was actually referring to! The cache itself wasn't in the obvious place so I was stymied for about 5 minutes until I spotted it. Took a combination lock and left coasters. Good to see a nice big cache container again. Thanks Team Frogger.
Yes, it was the Stoker who got to trip merrily through the long grass, keeping one eye out for scaly chappies. Was glad to find it without too much hunting, and it was a nice place to sit whilst filling in the log. Took a little koala and left a frog clicker. Thanks Team Frogger
Found at 2:00pm. Thanks Froggers. A nice bushy park. Thought it would be more morbid but turned out to be fine. K found the cache straight up, ruining H's chance for a hatrick for the day.
We saw a large snake on the way out so be careful to anyone around this area at the moment. Especially on the last leg.
Took wooden bangle. Left Car stickers and butterfly clip.
Thanks from D, K & H B-A

Some wicked people hadn't put the toilet seat down when we went to find the first answer, but apart from that, everything went off without a hitch. Took the really nice frog card, left a camera case. Thanks Team Frogger.
Decided to go looking for this cache after a hard day at work. It was a nice sunny afternoon and perfect for a walk and for caching. Found the first waypoints without a drama. Found the cache after about 10 mins searching, through interesting terrain, wouldnt be a very nice experience for anyone who had a phobia about certain native wildlife. Took the magnetic game, left koala and bracelet.
Thanks team Frogger, great to be able to put faces to the names as well after the Summer Fiesta!

We were trying to beat Vombatus to this one but on the way put in the wrong goto and found Rumpletweezer by mistake.
Put correct goto in and enjoyed an other walk in this pleasant environment. Found cache and made exchanges, also found Vombatus had beaten us by just over 2 Hours.
Took Coloured Clips
Left Screw Driver.
Had to remain hidden in grass until some joggers and a couple of bird watchers passed by.

Found at 8:50pm. After messing up the first calc (by -10) I had trouble finding the next location. Thankfully with the given info I was able to find it without much fuss and discover my mistake was. After that it was a casual stroll though the park. The good thing about doing it this late at night is that it's quiet, only the wildlife, a couple of joggers and numerous bunny darting before my path - what a surprise.
My swap has been a survival kit (out) for a combination padlock (in). I've also taken TB iiGeofrey for a ride. Thanks team frogger for a pleasant night out.

Found 17:20, yet another park we might not otherwise have visited, and yet we've been so close so many times thanks to team frogger for dragging us out to another great location. Unfortunately the cache bag got left in the car so no swap was made.
My last cache for the old year, and what a good one it was too. Like the others, I too made guesses as to the nature of the first answer. Boy did I get it wrong big time.
It was a pleasant sunny day for a walk. I did my calculations, headed for location 2, repeated the exercise and moved on to GZ. There's a bit of a track forming through the long grass, so no worries about encountering any of our slithering friends.
After quickly locating the cache, I took a Duck Survival Kit. In its place I left a St. John Ambulance Survival Kit, a calculator, and dropped off TB Geoffrey for a bit of a rest during the New Year Celebrations.
Thanks to all the froggers for an interesting and surprising cache.

an interesting lesson in death,
an easy to find cache,

We finally found a cache large enough to keep him.

Great to see another cache in this huge park - welcome back Froggers! The first location had us making various guesses as to the answer to the question - very surprised to find something none of us had expected, and certainly something we would never wish to encounter there! !!
Once again, JuzMac and I made the advance assault on the cache, only to have maccamob catch up and make the discovery. Was glad they were willing to walk through the high grass first - hope they cut it soon.
Just missing Derringer by a couple of hours meant I was able to grab the TB Bear Memories after its brief rest in the cache.

After being driven here by Maccamob and travelling with GeoJo we arrived and set off for the first clue. Got that pretty quickly and had a good laugh! The second clue was also fairly close by but we weren't prepared at all for where the cache was actually hidden. Very well hidden and MaccaDad certainly more adventrous than the rest of us!!!
Thanks!!!
left nothing and took nothing (our first day!)

Found by Mary & David at 1520. Mustn't have missed Derringer by much? Well - you learn something new every day - in this case about what must be a rather unpleasant death on one hand, and a very insidious one on ther other. Glad to have some family company along today, although we really should be at home getting organised for Christmas. Still, hard to resist when the caches are calling. Took frog which looked familiar, left Pochahontas doll.
Good to see Team Frogger back in action after what must have been a good trip overseas - thanks for this fun cache.

Found after a pleasant lunch at the nearby picnic tables. Thanks for an interesting outing. Nothing exchanged. Greg and Bev
The Emu Mob was pleased to be the first to find this cache. Emu-D and Emu-M attended and followed the dead-ly clues. Emu-M was mort-ified to find a toilet seat up! We approached the cache in death-ly silence, and Emu-M found it without too many dramas.
We took Scorpio the Travel Bug (the first we've discovered), and a beanie frog; we left a toy car and a table tennis ball. Emu-D will drop Scorpio off in California in January.
Thanks for an enjoyable cache, and the insight into the perils of living in our fragile environment.

I found this cache without too much trouble at around 4pm this afternoon. It seems I was just a tad optimistic in my hopes of being the first to find this one, and getting my first look at a travelbug - turns out I was about 6 or 7 hours late
I took a table tennis ball, and left a key tassel.
Thanks for the fun cache, Team Frogger!
