(346) Another nice easy cache, I was walking back to my car and a farmer took interest in me walking in the dark.. By the time he reached the car park I was on my way.. Never mind.. TFTC, Took Kiwi TB.. SL.
Found: 18/05/2010 16:07 . Find #16 for this trip to the SI. The constabulary were set up with a speed gun directly opposite the rest area but they weren't interested in what a funny bloke in a campervan was up to and drove away just after I found the cache

had a great time finding this cache. dad had to climb over the fence to retrieve this cache but found it all the same. TFTC
Wazza and the Wenches are travelling around the South Island on a caching holiday for a few days.
After having a good look around, and having a few more hours left to drive today we elected to abandon this cache and try again on the way back the Christchurch.
We only had co-ords in the GPS so were not aware the cache has moved from its original location.

[Found after a second visit today. Maybe the clue could be modified? -frog+badge] Cache is now stream-side of post not the road-side. Cheers.
Couldn't see much of the mountains as it was overcast and cloudy. Parked our geomobile a short distance then took a brief walk to GZ, where we discovered a GC, took a photo and left it for the next visitor to find. There was a sudden drop of temperature as we got back to the car where it was warmer before continuing on our way. TFTC wjbwc.
We spent great four weeks caching in NZ. NZ nature and the caches are amazing. Thanks for all the caches, the great adventure and greetings from Czech Republic. In: tb
We found this cache with Standa.Sefl during our holiday in New Zealand. New Zealand has very nice nature, thanks for all nice places. Greetings from Czech republic.
This was the 10th day of our vacation in New Zealand. This was our 51st cache. We traveled today from Takapo to Kaikoura. The weather is beautiful. Kaikoura is a beautiful ocean spot. Along the way we found some cache. This was a nice spot for a lunch break. It took us awhile to find the cache. Thanks and greetings from The Lowlandfamily from The Netherlands.
1630hrs Good view of the plains although a lot of smoke haze today. The Italian Job was here.......! Our blog www.motorhominginxs.blogspot.com

found It, thank goodness the GPS was having a bad day as it pointed to the area people had been using as a toilet, I advise you to wear shoes just in case your gps leads you astray too. the area where the cache is clean tho.
Looks like I never logged my previous attempt - there were muggles nearby last time, and I simply couldn't find what's described in the hint as GZ was way off! Today on the way back to Christchurch to fly home, we found the cache immediately! TFTC and greetings from Queensland!
3rd cache of the day found at 7.15pm,nice quick easy find ,decided this was as good a place as any to camp for the night before continuing my bicycle trip north tomorrow to christchurch TFTC
As I arrived a muggle popped out of a small tent pitched at the side of the carpark. Waited for him to pack up and leave before hunting for this one. Quick and easy find, cheers!
The GPS didnt want us to find it.Thank goodness for the hints. But we did find the Black Rubbish Bag yuck. And just as we were about to put it back in it's hidey hole a Campervan pulled up,even though they sat at the table with their backs to us,stealth was required.TFTC.
Thanks for the cache, was a bit too overcast today for a good view of the plains though.
A quick find on the way to the airport for our return to Australia. Used the clue as it was too cold and rainy to search properly. TFTC, a good place to break the journey. TNLN.
A quick find on the way south today. Interesting exercise verifying all the mountains and updating my memory of what they should look like. Signed log, left elastic tie, TFTC!
It's Christmas. We are on the way from Christcurch to Dunedin. This was find #5 of the day. TFTC
Never stopped here before, but what a nice wee spot. Family enjoyed it. TFTC TNLN
Found this cache one the way South, another very nice spot with great views of the Canterbury Plains, a quick one and an easy find, TFTC TNLNSL (1213)
Searched in the wrong spot at first where we found a large black waste bag and hoped that wouldn't be the cache...after rechecking where the GPS was telling us to go it didn't take long to find the real cache container. TFTC, and greetings from Sweden!
Nice quick find so had time to stop for a drink before continuing on our way to Ashburton.TFTC
Very similar veiwing site to the one on the west coast road that also hides a cache, this one however is a much larger container. Pity I had nothing relevent to put in. Very quick find for Wotefa as she went straight to it. My GPS was a little more wayward. TFTC
Good excuse to break the mind numbing straights. Nice example of a lookout showing profile of mountains. TFTC
My driver didn't believe me when I said turn here and we almost went sailing past.
Cheers.
Cheers.
This was our first find after nearly a year off - overseas travel - a great pity we did not find the opportunity while overseas. However great to be on the job again. Easy find with coordinates spot on. TFTC
Great to have the excuse to stop here. Wonderful view of the mountains covered in snow with a clear blue sky. Had to walk around people asleep in a van. TNLN TFTC
Had to wait a while until a guy finished his cigarette then headed back out onto the highway.
The view was stunning today although quite strange conditions. The sky was 100% overcast on the palins but over towards the mountains it was perfectly clear with the sun glinting off the snow.
Many thanks

A nice place beside the loud and busy highway and a quick find. Thanks for giving a look to ... ein weites Feld ( Theodor Fontane ) and a short stop on our way to Christchurch.

Seventh and last cache of the day en route from Mt Cook to Christchurch. At last a cache box big enough to hold some swops so we took luminous skeleton and left karabiner and CGroovy Cachin' Dude TB. Unfortunately this could not be logged for some time afterwards so the TB has been grabbed by someone else before the drop off could be recorded. TFTC.
Found with Mogni during our 8 days of caching and touring around the South Island of New Zealand.
A nice and easy find... no problems in locating the cache at all.

Very happy to pick this one up - the wind was blowing a gale at that stage of the day. Amazing I signed the log and got it back in the container! TFTC.
Another nice easy find on a cold day with good coordinates. I love these excuses to stop the car along the highway.
