Sorry for the confusion cache is no longer here. Cacher logged this cache that she found months ago.
Received an email from Little Miss Muggle advising me she had found the cache. Have placed the cache back on line again.
I'm on a long stint at work at the moment. This will have to go off line till I have time to get here. Sorry
12:43pm Had a real good search I dug in as deep as I could but there was nothing
there, I think the cache is gone.
there, I think the cache is gone.
Found large object, but could not found micro cache. Any chance it's gone? No floods or football on today.

I've looked for this one three times now since Christmas and came up empty. I've dug around thoroughly with gloves. Any chance it's gone?
1600. GZ is right in the center of a "mini tornado" that struck Blackburn on Australia Day 2006. Even so I was confident that I would find this one after I read the clues but alas still no luck again. What I did find however was 2 notes to the tree wishing for luck the birth of a baby. - Good luck to the writer.
Stuck my hand in and up but still no luck. Forgot to bring gloves - watch out for broken glass. I will try this again - thank for the cache.
No luck, didn't have the guts to get really stuck into the roots, maybe I'll bring some gloves next time.
found with xf king. i tryed this one last week and searched for 15mins i couldnt find it. but this time i was more eger and i pocked in deeper and got it.

4th of 6 found at 1.15PM with SDM Geo
This one had me stumped for a while. Took us a while to find and was a little small for a regular sized cache which had me looking in the wrong place for ages. SDM found this one once put his hands on it instead of using sticks.
Thanks for the cache from M.B

Looked everywhere but the right spot. When I ready to give up I gave one more try and there it was. Thanks for the cache.
Found at 1610.
A nice little walk through a gale and spits of rain to a magnificent specimen. After seeing off some muggles (Thanks to my Nokia-lookalike GPS...) had this cache in hand quickly. TNLNSL. Thanks kiwideb.

After a bit of searching, Thylo using a tool, Thyla using gloves and a more hands on approach had the cache in her hot little hands. Don't think thylo was amused.

Found by Ray and Maya at 3:50PM on 13th of June. A cunning hide, well done. We took a large eraser and left a small eraser. Thanks from The Nomads.
We found this cache on a cold grey day and so had the place to ourselves. A lovely place for a walk and no problem finding it. Our swaps were too large to fit in the cache so left nothing and took nothing. Lotsa fun.

Somehow, I inputted a couple wrong numbers in my eXplorist and we ended up in the alley behind the Box Hill cemetary at night getting more and more freaked out as we thrashed around in the long grass searching for the non-existent cache.
Eventually walked home, rechecked co-ordinates and found it.
Eventually walked home, rechecked co-ordinates and found it.
We could see this place been quite busy, but this day it was empty. A surprisingly short search - first try. Lucky today.
Thanks.
Thanks.

While going back over tracks this morning to find some DNF's (coincidentally, all three are Kiwi-Deb caches), I found this one today far more easily than last time. We were looking in a more complicated fashion last time for no reason.
Left a pencil for future cachers after leaving the pen in the car.
]
And now for those who get stuck due to phobias...
Goldilocks tried the big cave, but it was too open.
She then tried the middle sized cave, but it was too dark.
Finally she tried the little cave, and it was just right.

Thought we were in trouble here as a couple were enjoying the shade with a glass of wine and didn't appear in a hurry to move, so I distracted them by sitting behind them and playing with my PDA while Daniel did the kid thing and located the cache - they didn't suspect a thing
Took: Party popper
Left: 12-sided dice

Frustrated
After the frustration at Flax'en Beauty, Samantha and I got to GZ here and apprehensivly poked about before giving up after about 20 minutes.
Biggest issue was sticking hands in holes that were either too small for mine, or too icky for Samantha. Will have to try again some other time, though the checking we did do should have found the cache if it is as easy as other logs have indicated.

Rocked up at about 4:00pm on a Saturday afternoon which was terrible timing! Saw about a hundred people around playing cricket and didn't even bother doing a search. Might return tommorow on the way to church.
This is a lovely park. Our three helper searched the spots but had too search again to finally find the cache.
Left the swaps in the car so took nothing and left nothing
Thanks Kiwideb

I think someone mentioned this would be difficult during the footy season well we were cornered by cricket spectator muggles - Grandma, Granddad, Dad and Kid Muggles galore.
It certainly was spooky having to probe into those cavernous spaces.

Detoured on the way back from a meeting, and enjoyed finding this one amongst the lovely surrounds at lunchtime. I should have brought the little tackers along so it would be THEIR hands probing round in creepy places!

Beautiful oak. Found this one quite quickly.
Took earplugs, left several coloured golf tees.
Took earplugs, left several coloured golf tees.
I am very pleased (not to mention relieved) to announce that the brick is well and truly still in the wall although, based on several e-mails to and from kiwideb, it appears that it has moved a fair bit since it was originally placed. (I guess it is the equivalent of telling someone that you had a puncture on the way in to work this morning and when the information returns back to you hear that "purple elephants wear pink polka dotted underpants whilst flying").
I have e-mailed kiwideb photographs of the new location of the cache so she can decide whether to continue the cache/change the coordinates/change its difficulty/etc.
When we first looked for this cache last Sunday, I actually gave the location that Chookies looked in a quick search but soon decided that it wasn't the spot. Where I finally found it was the 2nd or 3rd place I looked and, although a little bit of a scary retrieve, it's probably actually a better spot anyway.
Sorry for any concerns about this one kiwideb and thanks very much for your patience. For what it's worth, my personal recommendation would be to leave it in its new hidey hole and adjust the co-ords/difficulty rating accordingly.

I checked this cache this morning and sadly it has gone. As it was a replacement cache for another cache that went missing I will not be replacing it. Many thanks to those that found the cache and thanks and sorry to Chookies who let me know it had gone missing. Thats 2 caches in a week that went missing.
The poultry flock visited this cache today, but were disappointed to go home emptyhanded !
We believe the cache has been muggled, & sadly its hiding spot destroyed (no doubt by someone with lots of space between their ears). The suspected hiding spot, which was damaged, looked magnificent! A photo has been taken & sent to Kiwideb for confirmation!
Thanks for the hunt kiwideb

After an afternoon of pre-Christmas shopping on top of the hill, we decided to finish up with some caching. A trip here and the cache was very quickly in hand at 15:55. A nice hide but a scary retrieve. It reminded me of a similar experience exactly 52 weeks ago today on the other side of the equator although EuDes herself wasn't with me for that one.

Having carried around the listing for "Another Brick in the ..." for many months we tried to find it last week and hunted for well over an hour with the gps playing up as we tried to find the point that was most commonly displayed as ground zero. Alas we went home disapointed and uploaded our track into the computer... we know to expect a bit of error but at one point we were traveling at 2323Km/h to a point 7 Km to the west and to an altitude of just under 13 kilometers above sea level.
Ive been told that this probably had us in the satelite!!![?]
Went to log our failure only to find that the cache was no longer listed and that it had gone to god!!
(Maybe thats why the gps was leading us to heaven!)
*Note to self- Check that cache is still there before looking for it!
The faulty Gps went back to its maker to be replaced with a new unit and we thought it was only fair to break it in on the tribute to the cache that caused the demise of its predesessor.
This time the satelites put us right on top of GZ with no problems.... (and stayed there!)
Had a good feel around in the right spot without success and had all but given up on that hiding spot when I caught a glimps of a reflection so back in again to return triumphant!!
What a Beautiful structure the home of the cache is!
Looks older than me!
Thanks KiwiDeb

Had to resort to the gloves for this one - everything seemed a little grubby, but found it quick smart and continued on my way
Didn't have any problems finding the cache, thank goodness, as the preceding day had been a very sad effort.

Found at 9pm. Our last of 7 for the day, a personal best! and we think its time to go home now. We're not addicted, we're not! This cache has been a thorn in our side for so long... We have been here twice before with nothing to show for our efforts. It has been the main theme of many of our nightmares. We found it tonight, not a muggle in sight unlike our previous day time visits so we could look more thoroughly. Still took two checks in the same place to find it though. TNLN Glad to finally have found this one. *yawn* Off home to log some caches now. Thanks again Kiwideb! (hopefully we will have pleasant dreams now).
Mrs dRanger's first find turned up TB Sylvester so he is going somewhere less crowded.

I had about an hour to spare so I thought I would give this one a go.
GPSr took me right to GZ and being dark meant there was only one thing I could see nearby. I'm sure it is a beautiful park by the light of the day.
I notice in the logs that quite a few people have come chasing this one in the dark.
Took a white car and left TB Silvester to continue his journey.
A bit tight inside the cache so I'm sure he would appreciate getting out soon.
Thanks kiwideb [:o)]

Finished work at 7am and decided to add another log book. Thanks for letting me know it was full. Cache is dry and in good condition. Today ended up a good day to hide another 3 caches too.
Found 10:45 on a Sunday morning.
It was fairly quiet at GZ.
Saw obvious location of coords but it was a challange to find the cache.
Took: little green heart shaped clip.
Left: ear plugs
Tks Kiwideb.
Note: The log book is full, I had to add a bit of paper to enter my visit.

First go at geocaching; just wanted to see what it was like.
Don't have a GPS so used Melway for UTM position and guessed location from clues in some of the other logs.
Its sort of fun finding cache but the contents seem a little pointless to me. Put in nil, removed nil, didn't write in little visitors book; which is pretty full by the way.

Searched all the other likely places...
found it....

I certainly not blind, but that location stood out. It's beautiful. Fortunately there was not a person in sight (just after 3:00pm) so I took a little bit of time, thought the situation through and bingo, another kiwideb cache to add to my growing collection today.
A took a gnome and a turtle. I left a Finger Freak and a Car.
Great spot kiwideb. It would be even better in summer. Thanks.

Found on 26/06/04 at 1550 AEST. 3rd one today with Facitman & Family. This is in terrain familiar to the Facitfamily so we were able to locate GZ quickly. Finding the cache took a few minutes though . Snufkin was particularly enamoured by the mushrooms growing at GZ and decided to stay. Facitman, Dufus TB & Bear Memories TB wished him a comfortable stay.

Yes, the hiding spot was very obvious, until you got to GZ!!! Just another brick in the …really. I took the car and left a key ring here today. Thanx Kiwideb. Clear skies, John.
After trying "Brick in the wall" about five times unsuccessfully this gave us some satisfaction. Never noticed this beautiful object here before. Took lock ,left racing car.

After being treated to 'brunch' in the City for Mother's Day by my off-spring, I decided to do a 'spot' of caching after they left, before the day was out. Seeing that this one is almost on my door step,I collected my GPSR and set off . Loved the location, and found it ok after thinking that it had been taken yesterday.
Thanks kiwideb.

Found after a quick search on my 2nd attempt.
It is one of the many ironies of life, that I didn't have a pen in my handbag (not proper caching gear I know, but I had just come from work) and there wasn't one in the cache either. Its a strange thing with handbags, everything's in there but the kitchen sink, unless you really need it!
Will return there tonight to complete the log.
Thanks Kiwideb!

We headed off to this cache without plotting the location and parked near the original cache. The correct direction showed up on the eTrex as being the other way so we had a nice walk through the park. We passed a magnificent oak tree that we had admired (and photographed) in previous visits. Now it was time to start searching and since there was no one around this was quite easy. The cache was found at 3:55pm. Took a wooden Santa and left a mood ring. Thanks Kiwideb.
Not a very easy place to search around, lots of people enjoying a beautiful Good Friday in the sun.
We went and bought ice creams and sat around GZ pretending we were having a little picnic. Took a little while to find but we were succesful in the end.

Compared to the last Kiwideb cache I was at, No Bunny Rabbit Hare?, this one was deserted. I found the cache quite quickly, but was a little scared of getting bitten by something in the process. Tried to drop off Snufkin TB, but it wouldn’t fit so TNLN. Thanks Kiwideb.

Expected to find a wall at this location so it was a surprise when it turned out to be something else. First spot we looked found a dead rodent or something so gave that spot the flick. But after checking all other locations it was time for the bi hazard gear and the body bags. Removed the remains which had passed through the gas and blotted stage and where at the runny and gooey stage.
Did all the cache stuff and cleaned up the area.

We had to make 2 visits to find this one. On the first occasion there was a family picnicing at gz so a search was impossible. This time there was no one around which was just as well as it took us a while to find. Nothing exchanged. Greg and Bev
Found at 12:45pm - the most painful cache ever. K cracked head on a low hanging branch then I turned around and cracked my shin on that darn little plaque stand right next to GZ . Then K found it the spot I had just seached whilst I was rolling around in agony just to double the pain .
Thanks I think from D,H,S,K,H & A B-A & N (the ring-in)
Took Eye Magnet.
Left Christmas Sequins (and a small sample of my blood, but that's on the plaque and not in the cache)

Found 1535. Had to take quite a few tourist photos at this one as there was a couple sitting about 10 metres from the GZ area. Luckily for us the cache was hidden from the eyesight of our nearby guests so we managed to get it out and back in again without raising the slightest query! Thanks to kiwideb for this one, another little area we never knew about! Took magnetic keyholder and left santa figure and mini padlock.
2nd cache found for me! Found at about 2am in torchlight so there was no worry about footy or cricket. Possums and spiders on the other hand... GPS took us pretty much straight there. TNLN
The area was fairly deserted when we were there, so easy to hunt for hidden caches. Just left a glow-in-the-dark comet, didn't take anything.
Found 16:30, the near by cricketers where far too involved in their game to notice what we were up to.
Took swivel snap and left dice, thanks KiwiDeb.

I found this one straight away after deciding which "structure" the description was referring to. My GPSr pointed me to the man-made one, and I was prepared to be amazed at how a cache could be hidden there.
I quickly realised that the other structure was the appropriate one. The next problem was retrieving the cache under the noses of the cricketers practising in the nets. This turned out not to be problem, and I found the cache quickly.
IN: Memo magnets
OUT: Pencil sharpener

Found after a 5 min search. Sort of obvious where it had to be but difficult to retrieve nonetheless. Took & left nothing.
Decided to take the dog for a walk/run, so off we went after dinner to find this cache. I used to play Samurai in this area when I was a kid - boy has it changed over the last 40yrs.
GPS took us 6 metres south west of "the object" and as there was nothing on the grass at that spot, we decided to check the actual object and found it in a few moments.
Took butterfly clip and left a green paper clip.
Thanks Kiwideb.

Found at 10am with Muzza, actually Muzza got it first. A great spot to stop and relax, with birds chirping in the background. The only thing slightly disappointing was being beaten by Maccamob.
Swapped an eraser for glitter glue.

Found this one in ten seconds (although Alan-san reckons it was eleven). Nice easy find on the way to 'Mullum Trail Bike'. Took some glitter glue and left a butterfly.
Thanks for the cache Kiwideb.

Found by Mary & David at 1610. Best place to be on a warm afternoon. Unfortunately, two old ladies sitting near GZ thought so too, and we had to wait about 10 min for them to leave before we could start looking in earnest. Not long to find the cache after that - a good spot for a cache to hide in. Surprised to find the logbook empty. Took lion, left keyring. Thanks again to Kiwideb.
