Hi Blarghster,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings.

When you have repaired this cache, drop me a line and I can review it again for listing on the geocaching.com site.

Thanks for your understanding

Wonderful walk up through the bush to this location. Lots of muggles. Spent 20 mins looking in obvious places and gave us. I printed out the clue a year ago - I guess thats why I did not know it was archived.

Will have a look at soon. Milmac has passed ownership onto me as he felt I would have more time to maintain. Thanks Milmac!

While this was a very nice bushwalk, with lots of Tui's in the canopy, I was not able to find this one. I checked a 10m perimeter based on coordinates, and also walked the 415m line with no success. I did see a relatively fresh banana peel on the side path leading down to the canopy and suggested cache location, so someone at least in the past 2 days had been down that way. Hike was reward enough, but owner may need to visit to verify this cache.

#89. A nice hike up the hill on my way North thanks milmac. Cache is in need of some TLC however - box was half full of water, the log book destroyed and the smell revolting! Did what I could but really needs a new book and new plastic bags.

A lovely sunny day for a walk up here. It was a good 30 minutes walk up - I thought I was a fast walker, but took me the 30 mins! Cache is a bit damp, dried it a little. TNLN Jane.

Good stiff walk up the hill, found the cache no problems. Well worth the walk, nice patch of native bush.

I drove to Tui Crescent yesterday but the heavy overcast cloud shrouding the hill disauded me fro mthe climb.

When today dawned fine and clear I knew I made the right decision. I wasted many minutes fiddling with the GPSr as satellite lock was very hard to obtain. After much waiting it indicated a fix but that was out in the Tasman Sea when I looked on the map! After powering on and off a couple of times it finally worked.
So after a slow climb I emerged to see the great view and soon found the cache.

I had TB GEO-Jaguar along for the ride. (see photo to come)

Thanks Milmac

Started off a misty, cloudy, showery day, but by the time we reached the cache, the clouds had parted and we had an awesome view of Kapiti, (not that the dogs noticed that!)
Awesome walk, expecially if you go all the way to the lookout.

- alien
+ zippy bug

Thanks for the awesome walk well worth the effort![^]

Our second cache for the day - a wet, slippery climb. Found the cache in the cloud! No views of Waikanae this morning. Met a lady who gave us all her ideas of good places to go tramping in the area - what do you know - they were all on our list for cache finds!
+ pumice - bangles
Thanks for the cache

We found it! The trek up was hard for me as I am not as fit as I once was!
Thanks Milmac!

The temptation was too much. A new cache in the neighbourhood. Arrived at the carpark and heeding the instructions (don't leave valuables in car) decided to take father-in-law Bob with me. The walk was interesting and good exercise (puff puff) as we do enjoy the more challenging caches. Found quickly after arriving at the spot (damn father-in-law found it first) After filling out the log decided as we were close we would continue to the lookout. 20 minutes onwards arrived at the lookout and enjoyed the awesome views.
Well worth the effort
- Key ring
+ Key chain laser
Thanks Milmac (written before next day aches)
