All good things must come to an end, and a cache in a sign when the sign is gone is no cache at all.
For those who never found it, the Trimbles sign used to have a set of coords on it, to a ridiculous number of digits. Enough that continental drift had probably altered the last digit, let alone what the quakes might've done to it!
Thanks to the finders who wrote nice things, and to the helpful folks who replaced it and the logs a couple of times on our behalf.

I'll head out here tonight and check it if is still in place. Things may have changed as a result of the fire earlier this year. Cheers Gav
156 - Trimbbles was very happy to troumble with me tonight. I had tried earlier in the day but there were way too many people around to even think of trying. Thankfully most had gone tonight and it was a quick in, grab and sign. TFTC
Managed to find this one in the dark on the way to work...just to start the day on a nice note
Tenth and last find for me on a day of caching with MacPacFamily Mum.
Interesting to look through the log and see who else has been this way!
Must be a busy area, I can understand the cache info saying "not in business hours."

found in today's the day's search cache. Everything I went through on foot, in the city and in nature, and thank you for the interesting places in New Zeland. Greeting from the Czech Republic
Discreetness was no problem today as tere was no building behing this cache. easy find.
I use Trimbles at work and Garmins for geocaching, stopped off on the way home to wait for Santa....thanks for this one, nicely hid.
Easy find at 10.pm after a drive around trying to get to the correct location, Lucky the Male cacher clicked onto the Trimlbes name lol
Found it - My GPS was playing up last time I was here - Cache is fine and accessable
Drove past GZ today. The cache is not behind any fences, but there is a shipping container and a port-a-loo right by it.
A bit of demolition work going on at trimbles at the moment - GPS showed that GZ was behind a barrier - You might want to check that this is still there when the work has finished.

Walked around Trimble, which have never done before. Easy find, saw a cute sheep, and broke a nail trying to get the log out. TFTC.

Found with badjelly. Doing this on a Sunday while quiet. Place is a mess.
Looked for this once before and had to give up due to muggles. Quick find in the dark on a Sunday evening.
The Trouble with Trimbles was the fire!
However there was no-one about today, cache is outside security tape as Crux4 indicated, so a quick find as expected.
Thought I would grab this one last weekend, but after the Have Your Say expo the family muggles weren't in the mood so put it off till today when Kinder Surprise brought me close so took the opportunity.
Thanks

There was a big fire today at this building (http://tvnz.co.nz/national-news/chch-fire-injures-firefighters-damages-equipment-1-57-video-4178264).
Be very careful! I checked GZ, the cache is still there, but just 1m away from the security fence, so you really need stealth or better wait some days because at the moment there are a lot of fire fighters, police officers and engineers at GZ!
I can't provide new information in the next days because I'll leave NZ for some weeks this sunday. Sorry.

You are right about accurate! Very fitting cache site! Quick find after Whare wharanui. TFTC.
Quick find at 4.30am today after an airport drop-off. Needless to say, it was pretty quiet! TFTC.
Found it. If I had known trimble was here in NZ I would have chosen their geocaching program instead of the one Im using.
So much for not being a busy street today - made it difficult but found and signed - thanks
TFTC. 2am and I couldn't sleep so I popped out for a quick early morning cache. Signed log.
Got away from quake epicentre after 4.9 to some quiet place. Good cache glad it was Boxing Day as perfectly quiet day for this location. Wouldn't like to do it on a week day! Ta
lovely moring for a walk with the family. Sunday traffic was sporadic & we just had to contend with the lawn mower dude...easy when you've got wee dudes at hand!.....
Drove past yesterday just before the end of the work day and can see why it should be left at such times. Took an early morning walk and got to GZ at 6.45am. Still quite a bit of traffic about for this time on a Saturday morning but enough gaps for me to make the grab. What a cool and entirely appropriate spot for a cache. TFTC, Biggles.
Early evening at the weekend, couldn't believe how much traffic was around. TFTC.
This was a drive past, it appeared on my gps as I was on my way somewhere. A quick look found it no problems. TFTC
A quick find on a very wet days caching in the city , thanks for bringing me here and setting the cache .

Early on a Sunday proved to be a good time to visit this cache. No one about, and when we spotted Trimbles we had no Troumble making the find. Thanks.

Awesome place, found on a public holiday so no traffic around - apart from the business owner who guessed why we were there and came and chatted to us! TFTC
Was stumped for a couple of minutes then clicked and found it immediately. TFTC!
Nice cache. I like the relationship to the organisation / company nearby. Took the Hawaii Micro geocoin that was in it
My first cache where the coordinates where at the cacheside!
Thanks

Found with YuGeo4 and maklacycle, this was a very interesting cache, arrived at GZ and took a double take and then realised where I was suppose to look for this cache, interesting little hide and a quick find, THANKS, TFTC TNLNSL (1179)
First thing in the morning on a public holiday is a good time to sneak in for the find
GPs, which usually is as slow to react as a supertanker, was acting like it was possessed! When it settled down Agent 104 took us right to the spot and it was quickly retrieved. Our second attempt as first had been postponed when we spotted the Bagpipe band were having their practice in the car park next door.
Found on a cold wet day,as we thought it would be quiet.Huh not so.Why do muggles want to be back at their work place on a Sunday. They disapeared and we grabbed it quick.TFTC.
this was clever easy find if you are on the right side of the road seeing is believing read well.
Almost gave up and then had a flash of inspiration. Hint somewhat confusing though. TFTC
Easy find on a Sunday. Work close by, but this is not an option during the week. TFTC
