Another old cache in the area, so it had to be found on a day we mainly concentrated on solved puzzles. It didn't take StreetWalkerNZ long to sniff it out.Lots of people out and about on the green, and on a Tuesday. Don't people work around here? TFTC.
#24312. It was a warm day for a bit of up hill but it didn't take too long to get to GZ. Once there it was a quick find. At the time, the cache name was a mystery (as was the riddle). Neither seemed any help in finding the cache. When I came to log the cache just now (over a day after finding it) I worked out the origin of the cache name (any bonus points on offer ). TFTC.
Today out and about on 240 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC
13:57After spending the morning tidying up our collection of those "grapes" on the Barossa vines, we couldn't resist seeking out a few more smiley tokens before heading back to camp. Our thanks to 'Freddo' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.37777*This log composed and published using Geocaching Swiss Army Knife (GSAK).*
We spent Saturday afternoon wandering around in North Adelaide with our good friends Phetlern. We found a good range of caches as we travelled the streets and parks. We were please to explore this area, the old homes and churches are delightful as is the parkland. Thanks to Freddo for this hide.
Had a couple of hours to spare before attending TAFE.Let's go caching I said to myself.TNLNSL TFTC Jeffjulie
A sneaky find with the dinokids today. Had to wait for a few golfers to pass but then we managed to quickly find the cache and sign the log. TFTC!
I've been looking forward to this day for a very long time. Not only is it a chance to earn a souvenir or obtain the "Feb 29" addons on my project-gc stats...It's the day of "The Great Leap Forward" mega event!!! (GCA1DNA).I've never been to a mega before. So I am glad this day is finally here!I'm aiming to grab each type of cache and each cache size to obtain the project-gc addons. I also need a challenge cache, a field puzzle, a D5 and a T5.Thankfully, half of them were published at the mega event site. That made it super easy.We had a big day at the mega. Now was time for some caching. GooseyC and I went out towards the city for the last few sizes and types required. One of the last caches of the day. It took way longer than it should have. Eventually, I figured where it would be. Sure enough, there it was.Lots of bats here tonight. I live another day.Log signed. Thanks! Thanks Freddo for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 4029 on the 29th of February 2024.
Out for a walk in Adelaide with *frilk* after attending the "MEGA" in the morning with reminiscing on places previously visited, found this one very quickly....TFTC
6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots

Then depending on the time that we will have left at each of our stages, all caches allowing usto visit a nice new place. We only visited a tiny part of this beautiful country which makes us want to come back although it is not next door and I would also remember the warm welcome of Australians and their kindness.I sincerely thank all the poseurs without whom the exploration of all theseplaces known or much more discreet would not have been possible. I was hopeful this would be far enough off the fairway, to avoid having to wait for passing golfers. Unfortunately, the golfers today weren't too good, and they needed to stray off course.Patience was the key. Cache was soon in hand.TFTC
Visiting my sister in the hospital across the street, but I had a little extra time to try to find a few geocaches. No problems here.
With an unexpected trip to the City of Churches, landing in town late this afternoon and then realising I needed a regular find for today, it was a quick scan of the walkable options. Lots of puzzles that needed solving…not enough time for that!….and this one 1.5km as the crow flies. Off we went, eventually dodging flying balls. We got to GZ and made the find, quite the way from Rundle Mall.
Thanks for placing the cache Freddo.

I’m curious about the naming of this one! And I’m not sure what the answer to the riddle is in this context. But regardless, great find of a cache in great condition. Carefully replaced the natural camouflage. TFTC!
I am neither long nor skinny, and I'll leave the rest to your imaginations.

Unfortunately, only found the empty opened container without log book, somewhere next to it. Put it back where it could be. Urgent maintenance recommended. Therefore only photolog!
Clocking up cache finds for the May Wheel of Challenges on this lovely Saturday afternoon, which has now turned into night-time caching!
Cache found 7m from GZ

Ventured into no man's land while out on the bike collecting a few caches today. No stray balls thankfully but I was glad to be wearing a bike helmet. TFTC!
Thanks Freddo for the cache and ongoing maintenance. I found it a week or so ago, before an appointment nearby, then forgot exactly which cache it was. In the area again, so now logging.
Wow what a great weekend I just had; a very nice weekend trip to Adelaide with the family and I got to meet a few cachers as well. Absolutely enjoyed Adelaide, the walk around town, the people, the laid-back environment, the layout of the area, the friendly cachers and the great caches too.
Day two of my trip and I was allowed to go out on my own for the day and cache away. I set myself a list and I wondered around down towards rundle mall, grabbing adventure labs, earth caches and anything along the way. Some nice hides and some fun ones. Some strange looks from passes by at points but no one stopped me at all. Adelaide is definitely a place I want to come back and visit again.
I got a call from James who asked how I was going and if I would like some company for the day. Why not, and with a drive around town we got in some caches that he also needed for the day. We went up to North Adelaide and the skirted around the parklands of Adelaide. I then was dropped off so as I could make my dinner appointment with the family. Thanks for the great afternoon James.
This was our next cache. We had to contact the CO to see if it was missing or just us missing the mark. I had to laugh at my buddies description to the CO. Turns out we had the right spot but no cache and the CO kindly suggest for the interstate traveller to sign as found, Thank you.

What a crazy turn of events this cache was. I arrived at GZ to see that the cache was apart the log on the ground and the container on the ground also, thankfully it was easy to put back together. I have hidden it at GZ but away from muggles. As i left this cache, i returned to my car to find that i left my favourite pen back at GZ, so it was a big run down the hill to find this pen and it was there. TFTC Freddo
FORE!!!!! found the cache easily enough but just watch out for stray golf balls tftc
Found it, but not without sustaining a geo injury. Be careful you don't scrap your arm going in for the grab. TFTC
Down in Adelaide today doing some caching and also to go to the Van Gogh Alive event with the family. 11 cache finds today and a couple DNFs due to muggles.
Nice easy find at GZ today, all in great condition. TFTC Freddo.
