As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Looks like this one has been caught in a fire. Will try to get back out there and place a new one.
Swapped the bike for the 4x4 and went for a drive. Been here before we knew about geocaching. Spent about an hour searching and prodding the ground and looking under rocks. To no avail. Certainly needs a service check as it could have been melted as said before.
Still the views are worth the drive. Last bit of road very rough.

We are like the previous finder, spent a good 45 minutes looking but are under the impression that in the last fire the cache has either melted (if it was a plastic one) or is under a lot of stuff from the fire. Maybe maintanence visit is required to confirm or deny this. It is a long drive into the area to come up empty handed even with the great views that it offers.
Looked and looked and looked but couldn't find this cache...even with the clue. Found a million other great hiding spots, and a metre long lizard, but after searching for well over an hour, the non-cachers in the group got a bit impatient so we had to call off the search. I really hope this one hasn't gone missing because it is in a great location. We had the place to ourselves the whole time and the view was glorious. TFTH!
Found it!
More when we are back in Germany.
Thanks and best regards,

Visiting from Melbourne and staying at Club Beaches, Alexandra Headlands. Went to the Eumundi Markets this morning. Wow! What a busy place even early on a Wednesday, can't imagine what it was like last Saturday on the long weekend. A nice sunny drive through the forest but how quickly the cold, dark clouds come racing in.

Combined a longer cross run starting close to Pbbybbynova Qnz to get to this Geocache. Would have been quite easier with a car ...Great view. Some muggles around between a shower or two. In/out:nil
Combined a Dirty Weekend [trip # 11 Blackall Range], introduction of Kylies friend jenny to caching and a picnic all into the one day.
Great views, easy enough access and an easy enough find. Had morning tea up here before heading off for the rainforest walk and more adventures.
Hailstones the size of golf balls brought traffic to standstill for a while on the way home.
Took travel makeup kit left Xmas decorations.
Thanks for a great cache in a spectacular location.
ps For those outside the SE corner of Queensland Dirty Weekends is a great book of local 4WD trips to get the 4WD out into its natural element and get a bit of dirt onto it.

Found whilst visiting a local market. Had been here before, but were not waypoint armed, so didn't know the cache was here.
Thanks four bears, and congratulations on the Fifth bear!

Any excuse to get dust on the Suzuki. Unfortunately we didn't plan on getting a great big restricted access sign:-(
The weather was perfect and we anticipated a great view.
We'll go back again and find it!
EDIT - While playing with maps on Trackmaker I found another map of the area(UBD on CD) and it seems that I found a road where there is none! No wonder access restricted.
Next time we'll use newer maps when we go searching:-)

And How Glorious It Was! Our 28th cache for this trip north from Adelide. We weren't too sure about this one with a bit of rain this morning and towing the sleeping quarters behind the geocruiser.
The view are pretty neat. Left a makeup kit and took a stapler. Thanks Four Bears.

Found at 1.35pm, our 6th cache of our Qld holiday from Adelaide. Took Plantman Pet Rock #24 for release in SA and Left Striped Possum. Good abseiling location here. Thanks to The Four Bears.
Found this cache quite easily once we located the right way to get to the area, as came completely unprepared and left all the maps at home!!!!! oh well, just show's you can find things with the GPS only.
Left Plantman pet rock #24 and took teddybear keyring.
Thanks for a great location, it was the start of a wonderful day of sightseeing!
Regards
Jo & Nick

It was very wet and windy so alas no glorious view or accurate GPS reading but we found it eventually.
Took a glitter glue pen and left teddy bear keyring and "Cat In The Hat" travel bug.
We were with the Gilliland Gang for their first find.

Found our first cache today. Went with Rob & Lisa. It was difficult to locate due to bad weather, but we found it in the end.
Ready to try for other locations.

Negative: Foul weather and high winds
Positive: No-one else around to disturb the avid geohunter.
An easy find in a great location. As it looked a little exposed to me, I covered the cache with a bit more of the local leaf litter. I didn't trade anything today but I did put a stash note in the cache.
Cheers,
Simon.

Found 2 Feb while on a Sunday Drive. Excellent views. Explained what I was doing to a couple of other visitors to the lookout. They were very interested, so I may have introduced a couple of new recruits to the activity!
