This cache is no more. We picked up the green luncbox labelled dry poole 2 from the hillside. It was broken and raided. We searched around the hillside but could not find the logbook.

We did the cache immediately after the '2004 awards' cache meet on the South Perth shore.

1st cache of the day after the '2004 Awards' event cache. Went specifically to pick up the 'Yorkshire Meet' TB which I originally brought over to WA in July. Will pass him on to Zensunni who will take him back to the UK to rack up a heap more km's.
Took 'Yorkshire Meet #16' TB, left nothing.

Just a quickie!! We racked up about as many K's as possible for TB Yorkshire Meet #16, so it's time to let it go.
Fare thee well!!

Had a little scare the other with a fire in the park.
Thankfully it missed the cache.
But there were plenty of strange spot fires on the other side to the burnt area. :/

Found cache... no probs, seemed to jag just the right cul-de-sac. Great location!!! TN - left blue pencil toy and our calling card. Thanks. 17:15
Thought we'd do this cache on the way home from Dez's Birthday BBQ at Coogee. Hundreds of small white snails everywhere including one squidged in my shoe urgh!!
Nice easy hunt and took PeeWee TB to continue his already well travelled journeys.

2nd Cache today and a bit of a struggle on crutches.
Well camoflaged and we searched for 20 minutes or so before Mrs Gull found it.
Found two bonus golf balls while beating about the bushes.
The pencil is worn down severely but I left my only sharpener in Jervois earlier in the day. Can the next visitor help please.

Finally, the Dry Poole is back in action. I have replaced the cache container with a slighlty larger lunchbox and left it in the location that Oznaturist choose.
The new Co-Ords have been updated and are also attached to this log entry.
Also TB Infidel has been dropped into the cache, he'll need to move quickly he's been idle too long.
Ta!
Skit n majik.

Thanks to Oznaturist for relocating the cache.
Looks like they hit the right tree.
Cache is disabled until I can get back up there with a GPS and a big sealable back or a new cache container. Oznaturist, your replacement is getting a little water logged already. Doh :/

Found this one easily as it was lying in the open, open.
I dont know how its was originally hidden but I have done my best to rehide it. I have e-mailed the owners with the new location and they can go and fix it up if they wish.

It was an easy find, but there were some guys chopping trees in the area and they were heading towards the cache. We were carefull, but if they eventually start chopping a certain tree they'll find the cache Took toy car, left coin.
Just checked on the cache then to make sure none of the kids on school holidays found it and moved it.
The cache is all good, still in the revised location. Just make sure you have the most recent cords for the cache.

Enjoy!

Spent a good half hour trapsing up and down hill, under bushes, etc. Neogeodaughters were all keen for their first "treasure hunt". Alas, found garden prunings mentioned in earlier log, but no sign of the cache.
Also had to avoid some teen muggles about in the playground, and a gardener/retic van doing the rounds.
Curious to know if I was completely off track, or if the cache has been removed?

So near (50m)...and yet so far...thanks to teenage muggles! Waited, waited, thinking they would get bored and move on, but to no avail. Weather too nice, and teenage talk too important. Will have to come back.
Second time around for me.
Could not find it the first time but this time the GPS gods where in my favour.
The last time I was no where near this spot.

thanks

Found at 2005. Found it at night without any problem. The coordinates are spot on. As is my usual procedure, I stopped 10m short of the cache, allowed my GPSr to average for a minute, and proceeded until it zeroed out. I put my bag down and the cache was right there in front of me. It doesn't get much easier than that.

Found it without any probems,But the lacy bras nearby were a bit of a worry, ( Where was their owner?)TNLN
First find with my New GPS. Was a little difficult to find, extremely well hidden.

Went here in the afternoon and there were some kids on the path that the GPS said to go down. Thought we were finished but it turned out they were going down the hill to the playground. Great, some time to look, found it 5 minutes later. Another great park in the suburbs, never would have visited but to look for treasure. TNLN
This is one of those caches where I felt like everyone was out watching me!!! With all those huge homes looking down on the lake they probably where!! What a great area, I wish I had bought a block there years ago they must cost a fortune now. The cache was found with ease, I think at last I am perfecting a technique for caching under cover.
thanks all.
thanks all.
Had to laugh at the abbreviation on my GPS for this one (see attached pic)
Didn't go looking, was very busy with muggles everywhere. Will have to return at a quieter time.

Hello again,
Good little cache. You have to be careful with GPS reception under the bushes.
I didn't see any dry pools.
Left a golf ball to play with in the park.
Cheers,
The Hendersons from Kalgoorlie

Found this one on my home after working in Bouvard.Found easaly T.N. Left caling card. Thanks. The Trekkers
8.30pm: Finally found on spot after 2nd attempt. Glad to come at the night where there are no kids around to be worried. Container is full goodies and no room to add. TNLNSL. Thanks Skit & majik for email other day.
5.00pm. After spent an hour to search it and couldnt find it. Used both given co-ords. Noticed there was a sign of marked area where cache has possibly been and removed? Also saw the wasps too. Kids were around by and took the garden prunings away to make a chubby. Possibly a cache has been taken away and lost? [?] Recommended the cache (if it is still existing) be moved out of way and away from the kids as they play around too close as it is their favorite place to play.
Had to really look for this one. Another interesting spot to bring a SA visitor.
Left green bear and a frog.
Took travel bugs TAD and HOLDEN DEBATE, both off to Adelaide.

A nice playground here for the littlies, alas no luck finding this one We looked for about an hour, tried both sets of coordinates to no avail. Jan took Harmony down for a play on the swings while I kept hunting around. Even tried deciphering the hint, but in the end we gave up. Will try another day.
Just a quick look to see that all was well, and to deploy our first travel bug, TB Tad. Keep hunting!
Had to give up on this one. Too many children playing around the cache area. I did not want to draw their attention to the cache.
Will try again another day.

We were on our way home when we detoured for this cache. Found after a short walk down the slope. We searched for about 5 minutes before finding the cache. Now I know where the cable ski area is. T: Lifestyle Homes keyring, L: a soft toy and the Holden Debate travel bug.
Just checked on the cache. Still there.
Sure you had the updated Co-Ords? We had to move it due to a Wasp's Nest.

I could not find this one. I got to the location and then made two phone calls for help, one to lynpatnathan, but still no cache.
After searching all arround I had to give up

7.00pm My last one for the day. Did take a little longer than the rest as I was a little bit off, but found it in then end. Thanks. TN L calling card.
Quite an impressive view for the urban sprawl. Nice position Skit & Majik.
Found TB Sully and he appeared to be suffering from heat exhaustion so we took him home for a nice meal and new drop off point tomorrow, after we take him 4WDing.
Taken: Sully
Deposited: Keyring
P.S. - no wasps spotted in area.

Cache has been relocated. Still roughly in the same location just another group of scrubs.
Couldn't see any wasps in this location but please be careful.

While searching for this cache we were fortunate not to encounter any wasps, but did catch up with the owner Skit who arrived just after us to relocate the cache to a safer spot. Found it easily due to blue string, thanks Lyn Pat and Nathan. Didn't take anything except Scolly's co-ords and details. Left out of space stickers and necklace pen. Thanks for the find Skit and majik, maybe we'll run into each other again some time.
4:30 pm: WARNING WARNING WARNING. Beware of the Wasps. Cache has been RELOCATED slightly…..We went to do this one and managed to get stung by wasps living in the bush. We have relocated the cache about 5 metres away in some garden prunings that someone decided to dump here. We tied a Blue string to the cache and then tied that to a bush. We have posted the new coordinates with our log entry but would consider the Skit and Majic would be better to return and move the cache to a location on the hill of their own choice. We chose the new placement because it was close not because it was the best place to put it (but it is well hidden so you may decide its Ok, we just prefer to leave it up to the owner to decide the final decisions for their own cache).
While we were here we dropped off SOLLY the TB and wish him more rapid travel in the suburbs. Remember he carries one of the coordinates for the LOST cache so he is a worthwhile reason to do this cache. We also put in toy of the old woman in the shoe and took out a blue ball. On the way down the hill we found a golf ball so we will add that to cache sometime.

While here we left Solly behind. He was stuffed into a container a bit too small for him we think but as he is soft it shouldnt hurt much.
Oh no. I hope everybody is okay.
I'll head over and relocate the cache first thing tommorow and make sure there is no nasties about.
I'll disable for now to make sure no one else heads over to find it and only find the wasps.. :/

WOOHOO! First to find. Ahhh virgin caches are great.
First for the day.
This has a nice view.. and the Cement plant you can see I'm sure is just cover for a rocket launch facility....
Took a constable care sticker. Grabbed the cache and moved into cover so noone could see us hanging around the location...
Thanks for the hunt!
