Have visited this site three times and failed to find it even with an additional clue. Suspect it may have been muggled.
A nice day for a walk in the park, thanks for another place that we didn't know of. A good find, my sort of cache, Thanks Moneydork
2nd visit to this cache, the 1st one early last year. Don't understand how I could miss it. Coords spot on and in my hand within seconds of getting to GZ.
I thought like a cacher and found this easily as soon as the human and dog muggles moved off.

We found this cache after one of us valiantly scrambled under the fence. At the time there was the obvious signs of a very serious fire in the distance. An incredibly hot and windy day, so not surprising.

On vacation from Finland. The gap in the fence was locked, and of course I was on the wrong side. After I got sure it wasn't on my side, I crawled under the gate. It took me some time to find the cache - I looked at the right place quite soon, but missed the cache at first time.
When I started to crawl back to the other side of the fence again, I noticed there was barbed wire attached on the bottom of the gate. Now how didn't I notice - or get stuck on it when I came?! I managed to stay unscratched, and even my clothes are still in one piece, so no biggie. TNLN.

Found it, eventually. Was just about to give up when I gave it one last shot according to clue two. Co-ords were fine. No swaps. Lot's of muggles to dodge. TFTC. Linleye.
Dropped in here on my way down to Christchurch (end of holiday ) but didn't find it. Armed with the information on this page I think I might be OK if there is a next time! Signal is good and strong, which is a bonus.

This cache showed up on the radar as we approached so I decided to have a look see. My heart sank as I approached, as there were a group of children playing very close and a football game in progress as well.
I did a walk past and selected the likely hide and for speed decoded the hint, which actually hindered things as, I ignored my instinctive choice and went for the more literal hint term. I only had a few seconds between kids coming and going. I had to walk away for a while but then went with my instincts and moved in for a successful grab.
I moved away to log the find and waited several minutes before getting an opportunity to replace the cache.
Not quite the five-minute drive by I had expected!

Dylan and I found the cache - no thanks to the clues - not in grass as the clue says - try looking a little higher
Yaay - first site for CPAZ.
A little tricky, as we checked the spot a number of times before finally looking a little closer . . .
Great views of freshies on Herbert.
Many thanks to Nandor for kindly donating the GPS - owe you one.

Mordor&Andre were here. Found on the 2nd visit without any trouble, 'twas dark first time round. Added a Mordor Goblin.
Picked up a truckload of travel bugs, and dropped off one -Moneydork got it immediately
Found this cache and dropped off all the TB's I have for the NC TB Race. It's time to get this race started, these bugs have been waiting at the starting line for 1 month, where other bugs are nearly finished the race, so it's time for everyone to jump in and help the under-dogs!!
Wended our way between small muggles, clad in red & black and booting odd balls, and pretended to take dog for walk. Cache found easily. TNLN Thanks Moneydork
A quick find on the way back to work, saw the bag. Covered it up better when we left, Didn't have any swaps on us so couldn't leave anything. Thanks.
I snuck the TB "Nemo" past its owners (who I stayed the night with) when I replaced my ChCh park cache.
Cache has been replaced. Same location, same instructions.
I have double checked the co-ords, with a different GPS. My original co-ords are correct.

My wife and I turned up again after work armed with a new hint. This time using some sturdy 'searching sticks', we combed every nook and cranny once again - but couldn't spot it. Had to leave after 15mins as people walking by were looking at us really strangely - and I think the nearby practising softball team was getting suspicious. The annoying thing is that I'm pretty sure it's still there - we just can't find the particular hole it's hidden in!
Came in once more tonight with Swanny and our lights to give this one last go ... and we found it - but not in a whole condition - well actually, we only found the log books, which were in the grass. Looks like this one's been plundered. Swanny remembered from somewhere, that if you could sign your name in the log book, then you are allowed to call it a find - so that's exactly what we did - even though the log book is looking in particularly bad form. Swanny has the books if you want them back - in the meantime, I suggest this cache is archived.
Well, Nandor and I went back again and finally got to the bottom of the problem - only the contents remain! I've attached a photo of the contents which I have in my possesion. Suggest the cache is archived/temp disabled until it can be resurrected.
Turned up again for another round of searching, this time in daylight, and with the wife (For extra-searching-power!). But nup - still no cache. Just got an email fromt the cache owner today with another hint - might have to quiz him a little on where this little blighter is ...
Even searched around the other gap in the fence, which stangely enough was 61m away! (See other logs). Ah well.

Quite stumped on this one. Turned up with Swanny this evening in fading light, although we did have a small torch with us. Combed the area but couldn't spot it. Maybe it's floated away? I wonder how near to the gap in the fence this cache is? I can't think of any hidey holes that we didn't search in the area. Not a lot of grass ... it's all been mowed! [?]
!0.00 hrs-searched for more than an hour-in vain. Next year better. Thanks anyway.

Our 3rd cache for the day on our visit from Nelson. Took about 5 minutes to find once we were in the area. Mrs SoBad ('the bloodhound') sniffed it out.
Found without any trouble, as its my home rugby ground. Might want to look at changing the cach because it was quite wet. NTNL Cheers
Have had this on the to do list for a while, and after finding Heathcote Hideaway, decided to check the nearest waypoints on the GPSr and made a "detour" back home to South Christchurch via this one. Had a previous look very early on in the geocaching game, but didn't know how to read a GPSr very well. With a few more under our belt, we had a good idea how to follow the "arrow" and made our way to the general area very quickly.
Conton had done a good job of rehiding the cache, as I kept saying to middle buckoboy "It has to be here - the coordinates are spot on!!"
While looking bewildered, we were joined by Ridders76 and had a nice chat. Maybe it was the combined thought waves which were being used, but I put my hand down and ... there it was!!
Log book was signed and no swaps made.
We felt good about finding this having not read the new additional hint!!
Thanks Moneydork.

Well we can't take credit for this one. Met up with a bewildered looking pair of buckoboys, who were determined to find the cache. And Viola! Right before our eyes, the elusive cache was discovered. The log paper was a bit soggy.
I have added an additional (free) hint in light of the issue that some have noted with the co-ordinates.
Finally. Our GPS was out by about 61 metres but with some Bohemian luck we finally got there.
Cheers

Finally found this...interestingly gps was showing 61 metres.
A difficult find and had to squeeze under neath the gate.
The extra clue made the find possible.
Thanks
The Bohemian.

After coming here twice before we finally found it on our third time here.
Very hard to find as the corords were way out.
Thanks...

Checked on the cache today.
It is still there, but was slightly damp. Dried it out and added another log book (as the one in it is getting full).

Hi Moneydork
This was our second attempt at this one and still no luck. We even had Aunty Lyn with us while you and Badger Ferret were out ferreting some where. We will be back as we are feeling geocachingly challenged by this wee blighter

Finally!! We had been past here about 4 times, every time there were heaps of people about. Luckly we only live a few km's away so its not out of our way.
This time we walked straight up to it. It was the smallest log book I think you could get.

Went to look for this cache this morning, too many people about.
We went back tonight but the batteries went dead on the GPS.
Next time!

Went there on the way home after work. Unfortunately, due to winter hours, it was already dark. That and the dead seagull nearby(!) and assorted fungii was somewhat offputting. I'll try again next time I can get there during daylight hours.
I'm new to geocaching, so the total inaccuracy of my GPS at close quarters came as quite a surprise!
Edit: Of course, it helps if you ensure you're using the right map datum. Then it helps if you make sure you updated the coordinates after selecting the right map datum.
It looks like finding it will have to wait until the weekend. I don't fancy poking around there in the damp evenings or early mornings.

Last of the day, the sun had set, and there were still some kids playing footy nearby. Managed to find the cache pretty quickly and write on the smallest log I've seen! Cheers Gav [189]
This one was supposed to be our 1st for the day, in our big ChCh Adventure. (up from Southland) Went ear;y on a Sat morning and place was swarming with people. Got to the right spot but with soccer on one side a rugby on the other we had to leave it. Next time!!
The TB Red Dog travelled back thr ough ChCh with me.
Thought I'd log him in so that he gets the airpoints.

Revisited 9 March, signed, and left nothing but footsteps, took only memories . Sunny day so took photo too. Originally found 5 March - too soon for a Wild Weeekend!
At last! A sunny afternoon, and the revisit paid off. Yes, the GPS got me there and careful reading of the clues (used convoluted thought processes!) finally worked. I'm am sure I at looked at the cache site on my first visit but somehow missed the container [B)]
Took the lipstick (granddaughter has a Barbie!)
Left a paradise duck.
Thanks, Moneydork, for an entertaining time. Rod M

Tomorrow we're going to Australia but today we had enough time to do this cache. The campsite was only 2,6 kilometers from the cache.
After a false start on the wrong side of the fence, Varuna and I (minus sp00k - someone has to work) found the cache using the clues - the second in particular was much appreciated. No exchange.
Accompanied with Ciotach (minus Sp00k) to this site. After we went to the wrong unaccessable fence, found it quickly and simply at the right place. It was quite a good one. TNLNSL. Thanks.
Went yesterday but the ground was full of Senior rugby trialists. Went back this afternoon but to no avail, as yet. Came home to rebuild my confidence, contemplate the various philosophical meanings of grass, and to see what psychology has to say about 'thinking like a geocacher'. Will be back! Rod M
A Papa Bear solo excursion.
I was on my way to check out a spot for an upcoming event, then remembered that this cache was in the area I was driving through, but not yet on the GPS. I typed in the coords and found I was 300m away!
A squelch across a very soggy oval, a pause while a sullen-looking teenage girl slouched onto a nearby seat for five minutes, a couple of false alarms, and then there it was.
I took a marble (I'm often being told that I've lost mine, so now I have proof that I haven't) and left a dinosaur capsule. (I hope the cache container remains waterproof, or it's gonna be FULL of random dinosaur!)
Thanks, Moneydork, and welcome to the ranks of urban cache-setters!

Amazed to find the park full of people on a Monday morning. A softball team was hard at practice. Sat and watched them as I filled in the log. Coords were spot on. Thanks Moneydork
Thanks Moneydork. You saved us from a "cacheless" weekend. I was just about to turn the computer off and the alert came in, so out we dashed. Love the neat little container! No exchage made.
Again, thanks for the cache
