This one has had problems with muggles in the past. Sadly I will archive it and maybe find a different location or make it a good camo.
Thanks to 2Dudez for the photos.

A beautiful spot to see the two lakes. Had the place to myself ... if you don't count the cattle.
Would have loved this to be our 200th Find, but like Dandent before me, the cache was nowhere to be found.
Checked all spots big enough for a lunchbox (and the smaller spots as well), but only found an empty Coke can in one of the possible holes.
Thanks for bringing me here.
PS.
DJ,
I have photos of the most likely spots. If you want, I can email them to you to confirm I was in the right place.

... well I found the gliders ... and the wind was roaring through the lake valleys this morning ... stopped to watch the guys flying their gliders for awhile ... then snuck off to grab the cache ... but darn it ... came up empty handed. Had what i thought was a good look - but only retrieved rubbish from the nooks and crannies ... hope it is still OK

Found at 1325 hours.
Came down to have a look at the glider flying held every Australia day weekend. Excellent model aircraft flying. SNuck off and had a find while everyone was looking skyward.

Found by edmil & maddie. This was our last cache for the day. We decided to stay overnight at the nearby caravan park and soon picked this one up. TNLN. Thanks for the cache.
Such a picturesque location. Easy find at 1605hrs. One muggle walking her dog but soon toddled off. So nice to see water in such an otherwise dry countryside.

We picked this on up on our way to Lorne. The views were incredible across the lake on this clear and not to hot day.

Dear God, it was WINDY as hell up there on the day Dvixen and I came through. I thought we were going to get blown away. I can totally see why people fly radio controlled gliders up there. Unfortunately, no one was flying when were were there. I wished I could have seen those.
The cache proved a bit tricky, but we found it after about 15 minutes of hunting.

This was also my 200th cache! I thought the previous one was, but when counting up tonight, I realised I'd gotten excited too early

Found with Eynowd on our road trip. The wind was so strong my sarong nearly flew away before I could finish tying it! Tricky find with the wind blowing up so much dirt & leaves.

This one had us "stumped". Get it? Until we relented and decided to look at the hint. Very sneaky but well done. All in tact. TNLN, TFTC.
Found along with Pterandon who had found this cache some months ago in the dark but would not help as they enjoyed the view which is well worth the drive.TNLN Thanks. No remote gliders here today as they would have ended up in Colac.
It was blowing a gale today (it nearly blew the geo pajero off the car park!)
The cache was uncovered, with the lid off, full of dirt and pine needles and jigsaw puzzle pieces were blowing around - probably all the work of the wind.
We cleaned up the cache (Mrs Fatnav was surprised by a spider!) and stocked it up a bit then reburied it a little deeper - getting a few face fulls on needles in the process courtesy of the wind. Great spot.

10th of 12 caches on Head Chefs quick overnight work visit to Warrnambool, only had limited to do caches along the way, but made the most of it as still had to work!
Wow what a great location, would love to live here.

Found at 5.50pm GAFF1. Great location for a cache as it was exactly where we were going to camp for the night. We found the cache totally exposed and when we opened it there was a nice note from a muggle who thought that the game was a great idea. After signing the log, we dug the container in a bit deeper so that rain would not wash off the pine needles etc off. Took: Breath freshener. Left: Laser stickers. Thanks djcache.
Found at 8pm. No-one soaring in the dark, although the wind looked good for it. The cache is looking a bit taken over by the muggle kiddies and the contents are somewhat meagre, so took nothing and left a bouncy ball.
A bit too easy of a find today. Log has muggle entries, thankfully they are pretty wrapped in the whole idea and have left it as is. TFTC
Although the other cache does have great views, you can't see the lakes from it. (I didn't notice a botanical garden there either )
This would be a cold windy spot in winter.
TNLNSL. Thanks, Robmc.

Found on 03/02/06 @ 1110 AEDT. Having found a few of Djcache's caches (try saying that quickly 10 times ), I was expecting this to be equally tricky. It was a nice change to have an easy find . It seems that some muggle children have been finding it too as they left a note thanking 'whoever put the box here'

Found by Roma and Max.
More elevated views of the surrounding countryside and a pleasant place for our midday meal. Cache container was exposed and had been found by children. However they acted in an adult manner and pasted a log inside the lid declaring they enjoyed the find and then stuck decorative numbers both inside and outside the container.
Their “rehide†was a small price to pay for the retention of this cache, and we left it, in it’s niche, more appropriately disguised.
In another Mondo Figurine and out a Star Wars Pen.
Thanks djcache, it’s rather symbolic of our game, that you were contemplating an attack on our hides in Bendigo, whilst we were here.

2nd of 45 caches to log. Found this one on the 1st day of our holiday trip. Didn't have the printout or co-ords for this one but I knew where it was due to a previous look on the net so Jen and I tried to find it just by looking around the gardens for likely spots. Have to say we failed and a phone call to my son David got me the co-ords and the job was soon done. Haven't noted a swap so I guess we didn't do one.
Thanks DJ. By the way, could I remind you that I still need some help with that base map. I apologise if you have sent some info already. I haven't seen my email for a few weeks and we are in Cobar right now.
Thanks very much again.

We attempted this cache on our way back from a short trip to Warrnambool and it was the first time we'd been up this hill. The views were fantastic, although once we stepped out of the car, the frigid wind certainly took our minds off the vistas! (brrrrrrrr).
The kids soon retreived the cache and we retreated to the warmth of the car to check the spoils and fill in the log.
Left: Star Wars pen, number stickers
Took: Sticky notes, blue hair tie.
Also took: dice & domino(these extra items had fallen out into the car and were only discovered once we were 20km away!)
An interesting theme at magnificent location - well done djcache and many thanks.

Found this little gem of a cache (while we were following the Vulcan trail) on the way to the SA Fourth Festive Frolic Weekend that's being held on the Queens Birthday long weekend.
The cache was totally exposed & the box was cracked. We repaired it as best we could with duct tape (and the puzzle box inside too).

Part of our Sunday recovery drive and did whilst doing the leurid view cache. Great view. Nice day to sit back and do nothing

Did this one after tackling "a Leurid view". Interesting geography with the two lakes.
The lunchbox was sitting on top of the cache hiding spot in full view! Methinks this one has been muggled again.

We stopped here for lunch on the way up to Halls Gap. Great view, but no gliders in evidence on this day. The nearby gardens were nice, too. Took photos, and 30cents in coins; left 25cent poppy coin from Canada and UK 1p coin as well.
Thanks for the great lunch stop!

This cache has been found by two lots of muggles in recent weeks. One has even been back to check his find. I left it covered with a sprinkle of some extra camo.
We had just rode our bicycles up the hill, so I may have been suffering from an oxygen deficiency.

Lovely spot surrounded by water and views. What a wonderful "old arborial specimen" in what was a relatively easy find. Made sure we hid it a little better than it was.

I have already found this cache. Back in January of this year as part of dak's Emu Mob. dak and I were doing the Vulcan Series at that time. Now I am solo. So I am logging them again as myself. Found it well covered, in the same place as it was before. I now have another name for this cache. It could be called "Swooping on a Breeze" when the Maggies are nesting.[B)] I used to hand feed families of Magpies in Park Orchards, and thought that I had an immunity to 'swooping' because of my,(in my head), affinity with the species. Think again barcoder![:o)]

Can see why spot is popular for gliders. The cool breeze however does keep prying eyes away from the seaching geocacher. As I had Lukey-boy Jnr with me, he felt a new highlighter would be fun to draw on himself with so,

Logged this one more for the sake of logging it than checking out the view. I'm a local and have been there many times before. Yes, the view is spectacular, but with only a short time between mowing the lawns and going to work, I didn't have the time today. It was a nice easy find, despite being well covered, even more so once I put it back and buried it a little deeper. Had planned on a second assault at 'A Leurid View' as well, but the heavens opened just as I was leaving. For another day.
Found 11:45, an easy find as the cache was completely exposed in it's hidey hole (we rectified that problem when we re-hid it) more great views.
Thanks DJ Cache, took Spinning Top and left mini pinball game.

Well this time around we found the cache that was hitherto removed from the site. We replaced the Cache sheet in the container and noted the visit, obviously whichever muggle removed the cache has returned it.

We have just returned from our caching trip to Victoria so were not aware of the other more recent logs till today. We went to this location on the 18th April - the container was in the open in the hollow but still in good shape. Some local kids had written in the log book and looks like they had made some swaps but it all looked OK. We buried the cache entirely in the soft wood mulch (at the posted coordinates)- so should be OK for the next cachers going to the area. We enjoyed this spot very much and thought the Botanic gardens were delightful (had lunch there). Thanks djcache.
Well we found it sort of. Took a friend to this cache site as the Leurid View was "impossible" to find. Upon arrival (and some party members had been here before) once the (known) site was located there was no treasure. In the vicinity lay remnants of the cache and Imogen found DJCACHE's note on the ground that was once on the box. This cache has been compromised and nothing survives...sadly.

I will just have to find a better spot I guess. This is disappointing as it is my second trashed cache in two months.
The other one I can understand but this one should have been too hard for muggles to find. Guess not.
I'll just have to go back and make it harder.
I can see why people hide micros.

Discovering that we had left the paperwork at home for this one a quick phone call to FullonPhil solved our problems. With the information required to locate this cache we proceeded to a very interesting location with excellent gardens. Like GeoJo we took the longer but more interesting way.
No 2 walked straight to this one without the help of the GPS.
Left Pull strings
Took protractor, and then several photo's of the nearby natural attactions

Was on my back from a "wish interview" in Warrnambool when I suggested we should make a stop to check out the view. Having a choice of this cache and nearby "Leurid View", I thought this one sounded a little easier on the legs! Kerrie and I stopped at the gardens and walked the last 100m (realising later we could have gotten a lot closer!)
Co-ordinates are now spot-on - the cache was quickly located and Snoopy was swapped for a Viper matchbox car.
Kerrie's very impressed with my GPS - who knows, I might have converted another muggle! Brilliant views of the area - a fantastic location to visit DJCache.

Found by Mary & David at 0900. Lots of memories here for Mary - her father was the school teacher at Darlington and relations would be brought to the Gardens for a picnic. Incredible views, and you can see some of the places where we have placed caches on the Volcano Trail. Took Point Cook magnet, left sticky notes and some motel soap. Also left TB Arty the Armadillo for some R&R. Our thanks to djcache - after talking to dak's Emu Mob by phone about where this cache might be the other day, we just had to see it for ourselves.
I had to work hard to log this one. The initially published longitude (E143 00.000) looked too good to be true, but I went there anyway. It put me in the middle of a very flat, very barren cow paddock in Boorcan. I called the maccamob help line in case he knew how to contact djcache. He couldn't help with that, but he did consult some maps and suggested that E143 06.750 to E143 06.850 looked about right.
By this time I had read the hint, so once I got to the car park at the lookout, I located the cache quickly. In fact, I had my sister (Emu-J) with me, and she located the cache. Maccamob's guess was just about spot-on. Geez! Even when he hasn't been within cooee of the place, he knows where the caches are!
IN: Point Cook fridge magnet, small torch, domino
OUT: Butterfly hair clip
Thanks djcache for the (unintended) challenge, and thanks maccamob for the help.
