Sadly, the cache appears to have been muggled and no trace could be found last weekend.
Visited today and had a look around... The river is low again and it is a nice spot for a cache...
In view of comments regarding the state of the cache from the last visitors I have temporarily disabled this cache until I can attend to it, hopefully 30th Oct
A nice walk from our camp on the river bank. The second tree is now a stump. Would have taken some time if not for the hint. TFTC
The container was very wet, so emptied it. Log book is saturated. Regarding the hint the 2nd tree is now a stump.
Tide was up here in the not too distant past, C@H took a great little video of MrJibblets emptying out the water.. These PowerTankPens are great. Find #579
Grabbed while out with Mr Jibblets and Spladem on our weekend away for the 'Yarrawonga Meet,Greet and Eat'. TFTC
What a great spot to run into a fellow cacher! Congrats Blacklegend17! Hope to meet up with you and your family around the caching traps....maybe even in our neck of the woods! The cache hide had us a little unsteady on our feet and even broke a heal of our shoe but came up with a big smile. SL TNLN T4TC
Rocks Rocks & more Rocks.
Would not have found without the clue, would have been to many rocks to move.
Had the cache in hand after about 10mins of searching.

Thanks OzGPSJunkie for the cache.

#511 @ 3.30pm. On our fab caching day out with team Haveanez. We had been looking at this one for over 6 months now and couldn't wait for the opportunity to give this one a crack as it seemed quite a difficult one. We had tackled something of this nature up in the Victorian High Country (refer Who said anything about fair) but it was on a much larger scale & we had come up empty handed on that one. Amazingly Mrs H (who has an eagle eye) soon had the cache in hand . Whilst logging we sat back and enjoyed the view of the bridge - the keen eye of the GeoPrincess had both her parents very impressed - she understood the purpose of the wheels/pulleys.

Found on our super day out with Skullracer1!
Yet another one of those 'were going to be here forever' moments! So many spots it could be!! And the GPS was jumping around like a 4 year old on red cordial!
Well, with a few pairs of eyes we got to the search, but not long into it Mrs H spotted the hide! Phew!
A nice spot with a great view of the river & the old bridge! A top spot!
The new hiking boots worked a treat on the rocks!
TNLN.
The log book was feeling a bit damp.....it may need to be checked if we have much more rain.

Found while out caching with my mentor Obi Wan Blacklegend17. First for the day, and perfect sunny weather. had to be careful not to break an ankle on those rocks!
When I arrive near the river.. aaaarrrgggghhhh!! Rocks! I hate it but I try my best to find it..
It takes forever to move each rock every rocks... till found it.. Finally !

Nice spot, but pretty nasty hiding a cache in a pile like this. Those rocks were like ice blocks this morning! Gave up searching after a while. Not our favourite type of hide, I'm afraid...
Great spot, kids had a ball on the bridge we looked and looked but had to give up,we could not find cach, GPS went flat before we got correct location, we will have to come back to this one.
Found by Greg 1410H 11/06/10. Talk about a needle in a hay stack. I could not locate the hide until I read the hints. The coordinates seem to be way off. TNLN TFTC.
Didnt have much time this arvo due to failing light as I passed through town. After reading that the hint was not accurate I wasnt in the mood for a haystacking cache hunt so it will have to wait for another day!
Nice spot, like the veiw from GZ had abit of trouble walking on the surface but got there in the end.

forth vist to find this one. first time during the day we always seemed to get back to this one at night... after some dumb luck found it by chance the hint was kida helpful gave a liitle idea as to where it was but not acurate at all...
Bit disappointing when this happens but will be back great bridge i got lots of time to study while the rest of the team searched for this one.
Gave up at 2.00 pm, so many rocks, so little time (well, lunch beckoned!). Plus we had to contend with a fishing muggle nearby and curious muggles walking the path above. We did find a golf ball and if there hadn't been finds since the last DNF we would have agreed it had gone. Interesting bridge though. For those who come after, please remember they are only easy if you find them!
Don't you just hate rocks [?] A sigh of relief when this was found. A lovely stress-less setting to write the log. Perhaps a few more stars when the Murray floods. Clear skies!
....edit...(I wrote this log after reading above no find log - hence I have posted a pic. Cache is safe, well, well secured...). Tricky sucker to locate thought. 2 lookers 10 minutes.
Took a little bit of finding with all the rocks here. Not sure that the hint is accurate. Cheers Gav [5417]
Found a green screw top lid off an SPC container but no cache. Ah well.

Give me more sweat and keep looking for the cache but it's hard to find and my friend explained me what she read the paper so I go back and look at last found it as my feet are pain which I wear sandals.. TFTC
This cache took me a little while to find as there were a couple of muggle enjoying the veiw from the middle of the nearby bridge, once they left i had the cache in hand in a few minutes using the metal pole as a guide... Heaps of muggle's camping just upstream...

Well it was great to be back on the right side of the boarder and nothing beats a cache under a rock when the whole river bank is made up of rocks.

Find number 1 today during a cache day trip from Tocumwal to Wagga Wagga with Blacklegend and two of his kids. The day was nice, warm and sunny and we had the car well packed with supplies and all the electronic equipment we thought we might need to help us with the days caching. Blacklegend had done this one and after I was searching in the right area for a while he told me he could see it from where he was standing so I approached from a different direction and found the cache. Did some swaps and signed log. TFTC.
Start of a huge day of caching with my mate Marty (Quasar3671). Cache No 1. Took the kids down and they helped us look for the cache. Found reasonably quickly and a few swaps made. Walked straight through a spider web complete with spider, which decided to hang on my arm for a while... No bites though.
2nd find of the cache run and 2131st total find at 15:57.
A nice quick find.- Finally!! We had to resort to the clue though, and even then Penny & I were looking in different spots. I prefer the steel pole as a reference.

Green lid. Bit of plastic which mist have been part of the container. Needs desperate maintainence.
We looked for 20mins couldnt find it saw the remains of spc container nearby hoping this was'nt the cache,
Like so many before us this cache proved to be very frustrating.
Muggle mate and I spent more than 30 minutes tying to persuade GZ to release its bounty, all to no avail.
Like others, we found the remains of an SPC container but paid to attention to it because the last searcher was victorious.
Looks like it will have to wait for the seasonal road closures to lift near Old Man Murray and we will ride back this way to claim the last two remaining caches in the district.

I was warned this cache might give me trouble, but I had bought along a secret weapon to help me find it, a Marcus Vitruvius.
Armed with this deadly caching weapon I proceeded to attack GZ ferociously and GZ bit back by throwing me off balance, causing my navigational device to dislodge from grip and was almost gobbled up by GZ.
I pounced back and forced GZ to give up the prize, and I was rewarded with a smilie in 10 minutes and in 1 visit.
TNLN, Cheers

Looked for this one for a while but only found the reminants of a container as said in previous posts. Unfortunately it looks like its no longer there!
If the cache container was a plastic 1kg square, screw top SPC, with a green lid, then, the lid has been smashed from the jar & 2 sides of the jar is all that remains.
Our first for a while. With the hint in hand, we at least narrowed down our search area.
We found a container at the hinted location, so, looks like it's gone sadly.

Five of us visited on three different days to find this, but couldn't! But have had a look through the logs and there are some very detailed descriptions of where it is and will return to try again.
micheena - Lovely area to visit. Can see myself returning to just enjoy the scenery.

16 of us (yes, 16!) looked again today after 5 of us could not find it 2 days ago. Confident from instructions and previous logs, we were disappointed, but believe it has been muggled. We found 3 metres down the bank from the 3rd tree a toy dinosaur. We also found a screwtop clear container with a green lid closer towards the railway bridge and several empty UDL cans nearby.
forgott to log it in we found it though with my family
great place to hide it left some stuff to. =)

Found today, 08/04/2009 at 1.10 p.m by "The Astronomy All-Stars". Just started doing this, introduced by a good mate. Took the family (me and 5 kids) for a day, this was the first of 3. Took a while to find, using a cheaper car GPS and had to rely on the clues given. Took about 15 minutes. I live in Tocumwal, so this was a good place to start searching. Kids had a great time. Took some items and left some new ones, cant remember exactly which, but wrote it in the log book.
First cache of the day, on our trip to Qld for an 80th birthday party. We decided to start our caching in NSW and this was the first on our list. As the last two finders registered DNF's we were a bit aprehensive about finding it, however by using the clue it was an easy find. Whilst we were there a homemade paddlesteamer/houseboat chugged past to the surprise of the locals. We took a photo which we will put on later. Took lanyard, left blue nailbrush. Thanks OzGPSJunkie for the cache.
Alas we coudnt find this one. The coords were at least 20 metres from the clue and 30 min search in 40 degree heat was too much....Maybe next time!
Looked under about a hundred rocks, and came away empty handed.
The nearby rail bridge is quite interesting though.

We were up in the area after catching Steamrail's 'Spirit of Progress' heratige train to Tocumwal, so we decided to get the only cache in the area while we were here. Didn't bring the GPSr so we had to rely on the very good clue and Google Maps printouts. Found after a 5 minute search. Nice to see a good size cache.

91 - Found Wed 31/12/08 at 2:36pm. Tried it without the hints with no luck, so used the hints and previous log entries (twice) and almost gave up, but went back for one last attempt and we found it at last. Lovely view of the river. TFTC.
Found without the GPS, hint only. Had parked in town while buying the newspaper and decided to walk up to discover the cache, filling in time as my colleagues were fishing. TNLN
Did with Sandalrock, who found within minutes of arriving at GZ. Fortunately, we managed to complete this one without breaking any equipment or body parts. TFTH!
Pretty much like all the other logs, this entry should be started with a FINALLY!!!! Twas in the area for work and thought I would give it another shot. Armed with my lunch box and story of being on a lunch break, I began my search with the help of the clue. However, like last time I knew I was in trouble when I began recognising rocks from when I upturned it a few minutes before hand. Sensing defeat I cracked out the phone and read over EVERY entry hoping to get a clue.
And there is was... Alansee's from August last year (the day before we last attempted it). With renewed vigor I followed the clue and found the hide almost immediately. Hazar! Me thinks a year and bits worth of caching also helped me recognise a normal cache-coverup as we were new to it back then. Didn't have any swaps due to work and am happy to tick this one off.

Guess what!!! I found this #@$% thing!!! OK, i'll admit to having help... but after 2 years, and a number of visits, i'd nearly given up. When I was given a really good tip on how to find it, I couldn't resist the opportunity to get this one off my DNF list.
It turned out to be a beautiful sunny winters day, and a great day for a drive. So when I arrived at the familiar parking, spot full of anticipation, guess what I found... Muggles... not just walking by, but sitting near GZ!!! Ahhhhrggrhhhh! Fortunately they were gone when I got back from drive in the forest.
A short search later, and this elusive piece of plastic was finally in my hands. I took a pleasant quiet few minutes to sit and sign the log with a big sigh of relief.

Found with Wombat Warriors 1 after spending a lot more time contemplating rocks, took nothing but left a wombat keyring, will add some photos as this one was a challenge we were determined to overcome after our last effort.

Third of fifteen cache finds for the day, the cache was found at 16:40 in the company of chewinprickles on our trip north to Brisvegas. I was bit apprehensive about doing this cache but I found it under the fourth rock I turned over so it turned out to be a nice quick find, there sure were a lot of rocks here. Thanks OzGPSJunkie for the cache.
After a false start earlier this year I had a chat to Roostaman and gained some helpful advice. Armed with this advice and accompanied by BoyRacer the cache was in hand within minutes of arrival at GZ. Found at 1640 in failing light. TNLN. Thanks OzGPSJunkie for a challenging and devious cache.
Had the pleasure of finding with Fred. Really nice spot on the river. Sun was setting so moved on pretty quick. Some of those rocks are really nasty, TAKE CARE on the rocks it would hurt LOTS if you fall over.
I'm not sure why I do it to myself... Was heading home from Melbourne, and there was just enough light left to stop and have another look with my new GPS. After strenuous objections from Mrs Murf about me heading out onto the rocks, I spent another long while wanding around this pile without any joy...
If anyone thinks they can provide me with a detailed enough spoiler to allow me to find this needle, then I might one day consider revisiting this haystack...

1 there is about 200 tonnes of rocks here
2 these rock are very unstable and very dangerous
3 there rock are here to stop erosion and they should no be turned over.
I only waisted 100 km and 45min searching. I warn others as you may loss more.
You need to explain that there is 300m x 15m of rock pile.

Spent the weekend in Tocumwal attending a family wedding and stopped by to find the cache before heading back to Adelaide ... and to drop off a TB that we've held onto for far too long.
Almost was going to log this one as a DNF. [B)]
It took a little longer then I expected to locate the cache, especially with the bright sunlight reflecting off the rocks making the shadows between the rocks almost jet black in contrast ... it was very hard to see in there. [xx(]

Found today, after an unsuccessful attempt yesterday hampered by heavy rain. We used the clue as we saw what we were up against when we arrived! Even then, we had trouble and only found the cache when we extended our search area. Turned out the cache was a little exposed, so if we had looked there in the first place we'd have spotted it right away! Nice view of the river and bridges from here. TNLN & SL at 3pm. Thanks OzGPSJunkie for our first NSW cache!
We must have been either very attune or very lucky. Found almost right away. TNLN. TFTC!

There are 1000 spots to hide a cache here, if you are looking in the right area,
Reading previous logs, it appears we were looking a few metres from where cache located -
Like others we found the hint less than useful.
If you are not looking in exactly the right spot you have no hope.
Lovely area by river, we camp near here on river bank, when in the area.

Finding a cache in rockes like these can be difficult at the best of times without misleading information! I found the cache (still in good condition thanks to cdmark) But I found it the clued distance from the start of the slope, (twice that from the edge of the rocks) and 2 metres towards the rail bridge from where the clue says. Cache creep? perhaps, but it made a difference and it took me 20 minutes to find. TNLN and thanks to OzGPSJunkie for the cache.
Our first cache heading from home base in the Goulburn Valley to Narrandera in the Riverina for the 'Something to Do on the Long Weekend' cache expedition! Parked close to GZ and admired the amazing steel structure nearby as well as a great display of crazy dirt bike action on the opposite shore. I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of potential hiding spots, however, D spotted it pretty quickly. Cache lid is pretty badly split but we managed to make do with some electrical tape which should hold for the interim, however, in view that the tape is black we had to add some additional camouflage to the hiding spot as I was worried it may stand out like a part of Rover's anatomy! Thanks for taking us to a great spot OzGPSJunkie.
