Nice quiet place where you can spend ages looking and we did. But no luck.
Thanks anyway SWAGers
Thanks anyway SWAGers
Was out with the GeoBro and this was our 10th and last attempted cache of the morning - but sadly, after 9 finds this was a DNF for us. What a bad way to finish our cacheing morning. Oh well it was fun anyway. Thanks SWAGgers
One more sunny day for geocaching !
This one was quick found, just few metre from the GZ. Very nice and quite place

Found the container just laying on the ground not hidden. I placed it in a more hidden spot close to the coordinate.
Great cache! Loved the beach and the playground. Second cache of the day! Saw some suspicious rocks and WAH LAH! There was the cache! The hint doesn't make sense though. But TFTC any way.
Was at the park for a play with the kiddies and we grabbed the trackables and will move them along.
Just came by to drop off some trackables. I saw a beautiful big black & patterned butterfly on the way in, gotta love Oatley!
Found this cache while out with the little geo-kiddies.
This is why I love this hobby, finding little gems like this. This is a great little reserve. I doubt even some of the locals know about this one. Play equipment for the kiddies, a small beach and netted swimming area, picnic tables and a great view across the George's river.
Thought we had the place to ourselves today but on the way to the GZ I spied a couple of local bush care volunteers working a little too close by. Luckily they finished up and left, leaving us to search for the cache. It wasn't much of a search, the cache could be spotted easily as soon as we were near the GZ. The Cache is in good order. After a quick sign of the log we returned the cache with a little more camo.
A great beginners cache for the kids. TFTC!

Arriving via the DRY route today, this was my forth stop of the day.
I had the whole park to myself this morning and it was beautifully peaceful, I wish I'd brought a picnic snack.

Spent the day cyclo-exploring the Oatley area with some caching action.
Fun day out with a tally of 11 finds, 1 DNF and a few 'didn't bother trying's.
- - -
This was the 3rd find.
On approaching GZ, I could see the cache in plain view. It seemed to have been moved from where I thought it should have been hiding. So after signing, replaced to this spot (2 metres away from where I found the container) with a few camo. Hope it's the correct spot.

I managed to walk straight to this cache with my phone still in my pocket, but thinking about the clue. TFTC SWAGgers.
A lovely descent to a really pretty spot. Luckily it was an easy find so I got time to admire the view.
TFTC.

Having done wet or dry 1 about a month ago with J. R and myself ventured around for number 2 of the series. We again approached from the dry. R spotted from about 10 meters away. We added only a little more natural camo, to prevent from being muggled

Out and about on Souvenir Day exploring some of the parks and bush lands hereabouts. Nice park and very quiet today. When arrived at GZ I didn't need the hint and soon made the find. I grabbed the TB and discovered the dog tag in there. Signed the log and placed back. TFTC SWAGgers.
Passed by this morning, a quick detour on my way to work. Dropped off two trackables and checked everything. All OK even after a very very wet weekend in Sydney.
After a rather tough night, I walked out up for some night-caching, and I found this one! TFTC

I came the DRY way on my walk around Oately enjoying the views and the caches.
GZ was not a very safe area this morning due to a large amount of broken glass in the grass and leaf litter, watch your hands. A very large branch had fallen off the nearest tree and was spread on the grass very very close to GZ. Judging by the freshness of the leaves it fell last night or this morning. Glad it didn't happen while I was here!
The cache was quite visible so I found some suitable camo to disguise it being as I assume council workers will be here soon to clear the mess and may clear away the cache too if it was left how I found it.
I went back a different way, on a bush track which was nice.

Having just turned a nearby DNF into a Found It with Mikev26, he decided to help me grab this one which he had found a couple of months back. Came by the dry option. Easy park and grab. Hidden away from potential muggles but not too difficult. Not a muggle in sight this afternoon. Signed log, took some photos and onto the next one. TFTC. Left Anne of Green Gables fridge magnet. #206
12/09/15. 12:02 PM. Cache #2986. Streak day #447.
4th of 7 today - Penshurst, Mortdale & Oatley.
Came here after "Myles Dumphy" and had a short walk down to this nice park. On approach to GZ, my first guess of where it would be was wrong, but second guess was spot on! Signed log and dropped in a TB. Watch out for the bull ants a couple of feet above GZ. Back uphill to the car, where I watched a mother duck walking along with her new brood. Now off to "Aladdin's Cave". TFTC.

Great cache and great spot! Real stoked to see that I'm first to find after it being replaced, TFTC
Replaced the cache this afternoon. The vegetation has died back significantly since I was last here. Should be better hidden now. Left Lizzies Lion from WA for the next finder. Good caching.
Came here with Cachecapyburra having found it before but was completely gone, owner really needs to check this one
I looked around quite a bit but turned out failing to find the cache. Called on my good friend who has already found the cache and he looked and it could not be found. I fear that muggles have gotten to it. Please check! Lovely spot though
GPS had me going all over the place for this one, but after kneeling down in the right spot, the cache was in hand. Thanks SWAGers ^_^
Found with some of the cast and crew from the Sydney based independent feature film 'The Lives We Lead'. (I'm a cameraman / Director of Photography (DoP)). We were filming some scenes in the park, and I just 'sensed' there could be a cache nearby. A quick consultation to C:Geo on the phone and my suspicions were confirmed
The cache log was a bit damp as the lid wasn't fitting properly. We completed the log as best we could!
TFTC! VK2GOM (Rob) and others.

How will I get my kids out if this park???? I'll be doomed to stay here until they get too hungry.

Made my way to the venue and there were group of teenagers and young children playing "Duck Duck Goose". There was also a kid in a sumo wrestler costume... hahaha. I made my way to GZ and spotted the hiding spot immediately. The hint added to the quick find. Also grateful for the bubbler.. was so thirsty... Thanks for the cache!
After the Event we went for a short walk to find some caches on the other side of the bridge. TFTC !
Another really nice spot, and another ridiculously quick find by youngest. Didn't even have the chance to start looking

A nice morning walk by the dry route for me. Spotted the cache on approach. Thanks SWAGgers
Beautiful spot! Not too hard to find - but little boys need to open their eyes!
Found by the Rarsides. We found the the location and then had to search around for the hiding spot. This was our teams first Geocache!!
Nice and quiet both by land and water. Took the land option and certainly found the nautical hint useful. TFTC
Yebo, after yesterday's severe rain this little park sparkled today in all possible shades of green, marvelous!

Spotted this on the way to the cache. Beautiful spot - what a hidden treasure! Left a Travel Bug trying to find its way back to the states!

Spotted the likely hiding place as we approached. Muggle family had their backs towards us watching children in the water and didn't even realise we came and went. TFTC and bringing us to this great location
Try wet and dry. The ground was very soggy after some rain.
Cache was dry at least.
Cache was dry at least.
Found it.... Probably took longer than expected. As soon as we found it, some muggles arrived, so had to be careful.
I added a purple guitar pick to the cache.

After the quick find at Vantage Point, spotted this one nearby.
Arrived at the park and followed the path to the play equipment - where a family was playing. I wandered over towards GZ and spotted the hide from about 20 metres away. Managed to extract the cache from its hide, and moved to a bench when the family wandered past. And lingered.
Waited about 5 minutes until they were moving on, and started back to GZ for the replace. Then they lingered just in sight for a bit longer. Sigh. More waiting.
Finally got to replace, but I have a feeling they were suspicious.

This one unlike another nearby is tide friendly. First one ever for us. Perfect for Alex who is 8. Enjoy
It would be nice if when you find a trackable that you log your find so others know where it is. If you don't then we can only presume that it has been stolen. Think of others so they can enjoy the game also!
