For your info;
There seem to be a couple of out of town cachers over this side of the hill at the moment, so I've put together an event cache (not yet approved) for a little get together TOMORROW NIGHT 30/12/04.
Coffee, my place (S42.42.303, E170.58.733) 7:00pm 30th Dec 2004 for anyone who's keen.
Sorry about the short notice.
Moneydork.

Very nice weekend and fantastic bbq dinner! Thanks folks for the hospitality - pity I had to leave early due to the poor health of my driver!
This is a quick thank you after returning home from a great weekend, with fabulous hospitaility, and demonstrations of thinking like a geocahcer, to make the trip so memorable. Now appreciate that GREEN is the colour of ferindship and congeniality!! Will be editing and augmenting this log later when we group our images and thoughts of a fun time with Team Moneydork. Rod and Margo

had a great time thx m/d and family for the bbq and somewhere to stay we will be back little buddie thx badger-ferret
Dalmore (Rod and Margo) are looking forward to the Event. We've booked in a caravan site at the Racecourse and got the tickets. Won't be bringing any children, but the writer is in his second childhood - does that count?
Those of you who are interested in the Wild Food Festival can book tickets and make enquiries online. Follow the links from this site: http://www.hokitika.com/wildfoods/
One of the Team Moneydork members will be working at the Food Festival - see if you can spot them.
I am planning a geocache hunt for kids (using Mum & Dad's GPS(s) to find cache boxes with lollies in them).
An indication of how many participants with children to expect would be helpful.

Do you want to meet up with some fellow cachers before the food festival? (so that you can all attend the festival together). Meet at the Moneydork Mansion (ie event cache co-ordinates) between 9:30am and 10:00am on the Saturday morning and we can all go to the festival together.
PS: Sorry that you can't make it Nick and Bernadette. Maybe I'll see you in ChCh the following weekend.

Both Bayman and Koshka will be present both at The event cache and also the Wildfood Festival. Wayne, please check with your partner re accommodation for us. Pity your Mom and Dad can't be there too - would be a great family occasion! Looking forward to catching up with you and your family. - Carolyn
We had initially planed on coming over for this, but Bernadette noticed that it is the same weekend as the City to Surf that she is doing (no chance that I will be doing it!) so unfortunately we won't be able to make it (Which is a bugger as we left a few Coast caches to do over the weekend)
