As stated by Zalgariath this cache needs to be archived, now two months since last archive request.
Unfortunately 2Dogs don't seem to be around much these days. A few of their Sydney Caches have fallen lately. I'd love to be proved wrong but I think the chances of this one getting fixed are slim
Looked and looked, but couldn't find it. All got a little muddy though - with lots of smiles all round ;^)
Judging by previous DNF postings on this listing I think this one is a lost cause. A good search was carried out by two people but nothing (except masses of garbage) was found. Perhaps the owner of the cache needs to check it to see if it is still present. Still, despite the piles of rubbish a group of people decided to carelessly leave behind, it was a nice walk.
'BGowza' and I had a pretty thorough search of the area but to no avail... Still fun despite the DNF! I'll echo 'Zalgariath' and say it might be time for a check... Thanks!
Maybe time for a quick check, its been awol a while! Doubt it would get muggled but perhaps could circum to environmental factors.
Low tide, good light, GPS behaved well, spent 20 minutes poking everywhere above the high tide waterline. Good news is I didnt notice huge amounts of trash (just moderately high ) and the chairs are still there haha. Bad news is apart from one or two places I thought were likely hides I found nothing cach-ish. Having re-read the older logs perhaps I wasnt thinking botanically enough! Still after over 6 month and several DNF's it might be time for a cache check 2 Dogs when you got the time! Nice walk none-the-less.
Went today with a friend, couldn't find it because it got to dark before we could. I found some lawn chairs though... lol
I'll go back another time when it is light.

Found after several attempts at locating GZ, as the GPS was only about 15M accurate with the tree coverage, nice hide pays to look further then you can reach as I saw this from about five metres away (from the right perspective). TFTC
Found it on Sunday afternoon on a low tide.
I had trouble getting GPS signal due to the tree and poor quality GPS. When in the general area I wasn’t too hard to find.
I was pleased to leave as I was being eaten but 1000s of mosquitoes. Repellent would have been good.

Just as I was about to give up the cache mysteriously appeared. I removed the offensive drawing left by some uncouth person and placed the cache further inside it's hiding place.

Found it after 10 min. search and some people think is funny doing dirty drawing in the log book. apart from that is a good cache. thanks The 2 Dogs
14.45.... Found it after about 15mins look around and GZ is about 10m away. Lucky for me where I stood and saw the cache then I tried to reach it but couldnt because it is too high so I used a stick to retrieved it . TFTH SL
Well... after a while putting this one to the back of my mind. I decided to tackle this one again. So out came the tide chart, got my time and headed on back down.
As it turned out I really did not need to be there at the peak low tide. Actually, I would think that the cache is reachable even at high tide.
After a few moments the GPSr gave up maintaining lock on the satellites, that was fine as I have a fair idea where it was after my last 2 attempts.
Within moments I was CIH (cache in hand ) and signing the log. No swaps today, but I can now rest easy knowing that this one is off my list.
It would appear that some locals have decided to take up residence about 10 metres from GZ as I came across 3 plastic chairs under a rock overhang with heaps of litter, condoms and candle wax everywhere.

Found this one while walking a section of the Great North Walk. Wandered about a bit, making my white shoes not so white. Logged in. Left a dice.
As with another cacher, the younger daughter made the breakthrough discovery. We'd missed another cacher today too.
TNLNSL, thanks for the cache,

Found fairly quickly this morning after the stroll down from the road. Shame about all the rubbish that washes up here. TNLNSL, thanks 2 Dogs.
Finally!!! Thought I'd give this one another go after failing last time.
Something willyboyblue said in the log made me think and bingo had it in no time. I really like this hide. Very clever and really tricky if the timing is wrong.
Cache sits high and dry, no moisture considering it's location.
No swaps but I left the Shark Attack TB.
Thanks again 2 dogs for a quality cache location.

daughter was doing some acrobatics on a nearby tree and happened to spot it while upside down. Kids took one or two things and i am really sorry to say, after carrying in a bag full of swaps, we got distracted and completely forgot to leave anything. Sorry to the next person who finds this. i overcached on the next find to compensate!.
Low tide and a great hide. The birds was singing "Take a break Take a break". Took TB Lighthouse and dropped TB The Cape Escape.
It was low tide which did help. This cache could be in a lot of places. GPS coverage wasn't the best either. TFTC TNLN SL. P.S. Wear strong foot ware.
Finally finally found it. After several years and many attempts I finally found it.
Took Nothing. Left TB Swiss Lighthouse II

Some 16000km away from home but only 600m away from the place of our friends where we stay for our Australien holiday. Found it quickly even though the etrex had difficulty in getting a decent signal. amazing the wilderness so close to rural area. nice place for a cache - we enjoyed it very much.
The tide was out and the Geoboy seem more interested in squelching around the muddy mangroves than actually looking for anything. After a while I got him back on track and we found it shortly after. This is a great spot for a Cache.

As c.j.b. noted, the satellites weren't with us that day. We looked everywhere and found nothing. Taking a hint from a previous log, I even got up high and looked around for that elusive flash of plastic, but the area was shadowy with late afternoon and there was nothing to be seen.
I wonder if this one's been Muggled?

Tried this one again today. Tide was in and made scurring around the rock a little hairy.
Will come back at low tide.

Well, came back at low tide and had a good look up and down and still came up trumps
Pitty, such a lovely area.
Crumbs, would appear to have been quite a few searching for it, surprised we did not meet

This would've had the most inaccurate GPS location readings I've ever had while searching for a cache-- at best the accuracy was 20 metres, and usually between 30-40 metres. Charl and I searched for nearly an hour along about 60 metres for no result.
We searched the area for about 30 minutes. There was a very high tide - I am not sure if this should have made it easier or harder but we couldn't spot the cache. I'll try again another day.
We were a bit lucky here I think. I managed to spot the container from a distance and guided Robmc in to make the retrieval. He couldn't see it from where he was despite being much closer than I. Thanks for another one.
Fortunately the tide was in which reduced the search area considerably, and meant that noone stomped mud into the car.
It took a while to locate though. The GPS gods were not so friendly today.
Thanks, Robmc.

31st find on a caching trip to Sydney with chewinprickles and Robmc.
We managed to get to the general area around GZ OK, but then the GPSr consistently wanted to send us for a swim. Ignoring that suggestion, we searched many likely spots until the telltale sparkle of a hidden container was spotted from a distance. Then it was an 'easy' retrieval and log. TFTC

Bugger...
Attempted this one while waiting for cricket muggles to go away from Multi-purpose park cache.
Had really bad SV signals, kept on wanting me to go into the water. I think there is a clue in the cache description about this though.

It was a thoroughly delightful stroll from Buffalo Creek reserve following a section of the Great North walk down to this cache. On a perfect autumn afternoon we wended our way along the mangrove clad bank of the river to GZ where the cache was found in short order. After the duties it was back whence we’d come. Thanks 2 dogs – lovely spot. A really nice walk. We made no swaps.
At first this was difficult as the GPSr never displayed less than 15 m to go. I wandered around a little, relying on my cache finding skills than the GPSr. After 15 minute I found the loikely place and the cache. My advice for cache hunters, which I decided to use a few minutes into my search, is think about the name of the cache, when you can easily do it, and this will give a clue to its approximate location. Love the location, cheers Two Dogs - TNLN.
We had just finished orienteering on Sunday so we headed down some of the same tracks we had just run and found this little gem. Great hidey spot...you need to take the time and stand still to spot this one!! Thanks 2dogs..the cache is looking great for an oldie!! Took geocoin. TFTC.

Found this one quickly. Fortunately, because it started to rain when we started walking. Before, we let the mini-Antipode play in the playground on the other side of the park. We met some people with dogs, so he was happy The cache itself is not extremely geokid friendly, but we didn't care that much as it was raining anyway. Stupidly, we forgot to put the coin in, so we had to re-retrieve it. Took: Pooh, left: Pooh (another one)+geocoin
standing on a log, i looked over, and there it was !

This has been my (latest) nemesis cache. I've been here a few times since I first DNF'ed it in March. Today I returned determined to find it, as I have been before. The difference is that this time I succeeded. I would have sworn I had searched every possible hiding place within 30m of here, but it seems I missed one.
Very erratic GPS signals led me on a merry chase, without any clues it was just too hard so gave up.

this has been work in progress, been down here a couple of times, just so many hiding spots, must have walked over it and pass is 20 times at least. great challange
Damn, me dad found this one first. A top class hiding spot which took around twenty minutes to find. This was the first of our two the second one being Sugarloaf on the "Great North Walk".

Got here at low tide by shere coincidence. Half an hour of scouring, not helped by wayward gps readings, failed to produce anything.
Off i went on a mission!
Arrived at low tide, GPS took me to within 1 metre with accracy of 10M.
Where would i hide this , i thought?
Looked everywhere, nooks and crannies, up and down with no luck.
Managed to cover my sandshoes with Mud, and to top it all off, managed to somehow, step in a really fresh dog Turd on the way back to the cache mobile...Great...!!
Bummer!!

Our first cahce and we don't even have a GPS. Just spent 20 minutes searching while walking the dog. (He appreciated it)
Took a little while to locate - thankfully it was low tide. Took to fish, left springy keychain.
Thanks 2 Dogs.
Thanks 2 Dogs.
The GPS was indicated the cache 10m out on the mud, but I searched the shoreline within 10m in each direction and found many good spots for a cache, but none of the spots I found held one. After an hour of searching around the low tide, I gave up defeated.
We must be hot on the trail of GINS1E but unfortunately not as lucky. Spent a while looking for this one without success. As with GINS1E the GPS showed 10m out into the water, most likely due to poor GPS reception in the trees. Lots of likely spots but no success despite having 12 Geo-searchers on the job. We will be back.
Travelled with the Coxes but couldn't find this one! Good job GINS1E! Thanks for doing the cache!

Cache #2 @ 12:00noon
Well last time i was here it was low tide and i had a broken wrist, now the cast is off and i'm back here again, also it is now dead high tide, now this really starts to narrow the searching down and i spotted the cache in no time, little difficult trying to retrieve the cache without getting myself wet but i managed, GPS was still saying GZ was 10m out into the drink.
Log book felt a little damp and i think the reason was of the Koala bear swap in the cache was keeping the lid open a little bit, so i took the Koala and will move him onto another cache so its not so much a squeeze.

Well, went for the third time, and couldn't find it (again). This is the first time I have been there at high tide. Didn't realise so much of the area went under water. I have no idea where this one is.

i was lucky and got here as it was low tide, slowly scrambled down to GZ "which isn't too easy on the slippery rocks with one arm in a cast from a broken wrist" but i managed to get there and found myself at GZ i looked and looked and found many "Grooves" in the Mangroves that a cache very well could be hidden, except i just couldn't crack it so i pulled out the phone and logged onto "Mobile Geocaching" and looked up the past logs, still no real help as i was sure i was looking in the right spot, i also noticed a bit of an occy strap on the ground at GZ, wasn't sure if thats the one Dirk left in January? except i got one hell of a scare when i looked into one of the holes in the Mangroves at GZ and found myself a Muggle with a water front view. "see photo's"
most likely I didnt olook in the right spot.
could not get the gps to agree on where the GZ shoulld be for more than 5 mins. searched from the end of the road to the end of the mangroves without any sign of a cache
so many places to hide.
previous logs give hints that it was obvious from a certain angle.
perhaps not any more.

Went in on high tide (Not a smart thing to do) and found this cache without any trouble. Thanks Dogs. TNLNSL. Regards Philma.
Nice little place, didnt take too long to find, left the gpsr to get a good fix and went for a look, on my way back to check the gpsr there it was no need to check accuracy but when i did it was spot on. took carabina left red car. Thanks
This cache epitomised my day's caching: [B)][8]! I spent just over an hour tramping around in the mud (and twice sitting on it!) with a GPSr that insisted that the cache was 12m out in the water. I knew it wouldn't be there, so I checked potential hiding places in the rocks and in the mangroves. No cigar! However, it's hard to know where to look when you don't even have a reasonable GZ to work with. After 45 minutes, I cracked and called The 2 Dogs help line.
After a pleasant conversation with Snifter (of brandy? ) I had a hint about where it was probably hidden. Now my GPSr started to behave, and told me that a certain area was 2m from GZ. I searched around within 5m of this point (again) for another 15 minutes or so, but had to give it up in the end. I was cold, wet, dirty, and cacheless. I wish I were better at this. I've never logged so many DNFs in a week as I have here in Sydney.

Eventually found it. Was in area this morning and searched for about 20 mins or so and gave it up. Came back with the tribe this afternoon and found it within 5 mins. In the same spot i was in that morning ...Doh!

Found by Mary & David at 1205. An interesting walk. A fisherman was busy a hundred metres or so further along the track, but he was out of sight at the cache. Glad the tide was out this morning. Had quite a hunt around then, while wondering where it might be, there it was staring us in the face. Took happiness kit, left an occy strap and a karma card. Our thanks again to The 2 Dogs.
Reception was very poor under the clouds and tree cover, I spent about an hour searching a wide area in the rain, but at times the GPS was suggesting I should be getting a lot wetter. As I was running out of time I called the help line, which was answered by a helpful but injured Webguy. His photographic memory helped to narrow the search area considerably, and within seconds I was holding the cache. Thanks Dogs.
Walked 20m past GZ before realising that I'd gone too far. Walked back and got the prize within seconds. Relieved to find it!

We had been here before, we had walked away very frustrated, we were determined not to again.
We arrived to what was supposed to be our final of the day, well, it was, for the whole team, but thats another story I am still suffering from now as I write this.
Anyways, it can sometimes be better to come back after a few other finders have been through as they do not always put a cache back exactly how it was put. Today was no exception, as I was talking to Swampy, I spotted the cache for 30 feet away. What did Swampy want, hmmm, to take me out till the weeeeeee small hours till we could hardly keep awake.
We grabbed a glow stick and left a magnetic key holder and also took the tb that had just been deposited in this very day.
Thanks doggies, I won't be losing any sleep over this one anymore.

Since this was around the corner from Leek's Sugarloaf (slap!) we decided to call in on the way back (scratch). Its a nice quiet part of the river yet one feels many have travelled this way before. Anyway, we braved the mossies (slap, scratch) and settled in for the hunt only to be told by the GPS that we needed to be 4M off the shoreline. We were about to roll up the trouser legs (slap slap) when Young Wiggins spotted our prey in a somewhat more accessible position. Sometimes you can just look too hard! We took a little carabina (thoughtfully marked "not for climbing"), squeezed in young Pippi Longstockings TB and a white die. Thanks Dogs (slap..got another one!!)
This was a great chance to see a little more of the Great North Walk (which I had been hiking earlier in the week). Only spent a few minutes here before Shaggy found the cache. TNLN.
How bad do I feel? Two previous attemps from which I've walked away empty handed. This time I rock up to GZ with Shaggy who spots the cache within two minutes of our arrival! Doh! Otherwise a really nice area. Thanks again Two Dogs for another top location.
Found it. No wet feet either! Now to get the hell out of here before the mossies start sucking the marrow form my bones due there not being any blood left in the skin. Took nothing, left a little Aussie Bear.
Did not see any crabs but there was a couple of guys setting crab traps just up from the cache site. Funny it’s the last place I would have thought you would catch crabs.
I got up at the crack of fart and headed down from my mates house to hunt this cache. I could not get any kind of GZ however so looked everywhere. I gave up for a bit and watched the sun over the water, had a second try still could not get a GZ so gave up after looking in just about every possible spot.
Hmmm, good reception, had a pretty darn good look, could not find this one. We will be back.
Nice easy find at low tide. About the only place it could have been.
No swaps.

Out on the road again today with Mind Socket and Kit-Pie... Took the short and steep way in to this one, and after waiting for a man to stop washing his dog in the river very close to GZ and admiring the armies of soldier crabs popping in and out of their holes, we found this one fairly quickly...
