I walked through the hotel and out the back door. I sat Mr Bear in a bench near the back door and snapped a couple of photos. Then I walked around the grounds for a bit and found a nifty item in the far corner. Thanks for bringing me to this nice hotel and grounds.
I loved this history lesson ... in 2011, with a couple of buds, I found 800+ caches in 1 day on Route 66 (California). Vort.
This was an extra special stay at the hotel. It is wonderful history and restoration We really loved the experience. The meals were great too.
I was with team Fam2Go on a road trip to Yuma Az for a mega caching event. We stopped here on the way home. This is a great piece of history at this location. There was snow on the ground from a storm earlier in the day. TFTC Tom
While passing through Winslow we had to stop to see the two virtuals. Interesting history and great statues. Photo attached, TFTC
Very cool spot, but not necessarily at 8 in the morning when temperature is 9F!!!! It was absolutely freezing. I hope to come back here when the weather is more geocacher friendly.

I'm on my way to Colorado Springs to spend Thanksgiving with family. What a nice hotel. It would have been fun to have stayed there and saw some of the stars. Thanks for taking me to such a beautiful place. I had to get someone to take my picture.
We are from Australia on a driving tour of Route 66. Found this on an early morning round up of caches in Winslow. I managed to get 14 before 8am. I not only went here for the cache, I stayed overnight. I will post a photo. TFTC
Stopped by here while taking the long route back to the valley. Walked through and enjoyed the history and interesting art by Tina Mion.

What a trip on the old route 66 together with Saxony. Today from Gallup in New Mexico to Flagstaff in Arizona.
This was one beautiful cache of many which we could found on this day.

West bound on Route 66 heading down to Grand Canyon tonight before getting into LA in 5 days or so. TFTC
[red]We made the quick stop on old Route 66 to visit a few area caches. This was a neat looking hotel in a neat town! Thanks for the fun and the reason to stop![/red]
US11. Several people were lounging on the grass waiting for a train. I must say it did look like a very interesting place to stay, but not for me today. Thanks.
