Logs
Collected the numbers and soon realised my GZ was nowhere near the sort of terrain others had described. Checked some logs and note that clue g is confusing (which windows where?) and also maybe f. (There's a shiny metal seat on the platform)With some guestimation I arrived in the zone and the container located. Happy to join the 20 year list of finders in the logbooks. TFTC Also spotted the rumbling Track Evaluation Vehicle.
Was worried I wouldnt get it as the cache was far from the station, but after a Quick Look I found! Thanks for a nice walk and hunt!
After two dnf I was determined to get this one that had previously bested me. Turns out I rushed too much last time and mucked up the very first step! Might be a bit late for work, but worth it! Tftc
Nice, easy find. It was fun reading through the 20 year old logs. All in good condition. TFTC
For our first cache find of the school holidays, why not stop at a train station while were passing through with EwanF, with an opportunity to fill a Jasmer square! We had no issues calculating the numbers. The final had us questioning ourselves momentarily, but we enjoyed our walk and saw a likely cache hiding area as we approached. It took 5 of us quite a while to find the cache, but after a thorough search of the area I was the one to uncover it eventually.Love an old cache .Thanks ben777 for hiding this cache 20 years ago and keeping it going for so long . This cache has been alive for longer than three of the people searching for it!
At last! Cute little multi even if I got thrown off by one question calculated both options and chose the most logical one.. the correct one! Found it tricky to find; the hint helped! TFTC!
Now waiting n waiting until the dog walkers leave so I can put it back! Popular area it seems!
Decided to give this one another crack before I leave the inner north for good. I enjoyed the stroll down here. I can't believe I missed it the first time! TFTC and sneaky hide. Watch out as there looks to be an animal burrow near GZ
Joined up with SimsFamily to go in search of some jasmer dates which are always few and far between. Today they were around Warrandyte and Mount Dandenong. This was the last cache of the day which had us very aware of cyclists at night with there strobing lights. After gathering the required information we were able to make a quick find.Log signed and replaced as found. Thanks for the Multi cache ben777 8,013
A trip to the North East had AusFox; and I hunting some very old caches trying to tick of a few Jasmer months. After grabbing the old caches I needed on my list we headed towards the Dandenongs for some that AusFox; needed. On the way home we decide one more old one in the inner city. We parked up in a nice close park that would only be possible in the evening. It was surprising home many Joggers and bike riders are active on these paths at this time. On foot we mad our way to get the information required to calculate GZ. We decide to stay on foot once we worked out how to get there. It was definitely quiet at GZ where we found our prize quickly.Thank you ben777 for the multi
Found during a cache walk around the area with Rabbit510 on our anniversary. Beautiful day. TFTC.
I really wanted to get this golden oldie today before it got too warm. But 55 minutes was making it was really hard. My lack of precision in reading the instructions was tge first problem and the temporary fencing means you have to go around. I had to move the car twice. But yipee, got there in the end.
Stage 1:Completed in the rain. Didnt feel like continuing the huntStage 2:Initially approached from the wrong direction and had to retreat and find a better approach.Quickly located and signed
After moping about the house for a few days last week i decided that i really needed to get away for a while. Phillip Island is one of my favorite places for a beach break so i decided to head down there and remind myself what the ocean looks like, its been far too long. I set about booking some pet friendly accommodation for a few days and then threw together a list of caches to tackle on the way down. Last night i packed a bag and had another look at the list i had created, wow, what an eclectic bunch of caches, it should be a terrific day.
I arrived at this one looking forward to my first find of the day, it ended up being more of an adventure than i had bargained for. There is newish fencing almost blocking off the direct path to gz, so there was an added level of difficulty there. Then my coordinates had me a little away from the cache, luckily the hint sorted that out for me. All in all, a lot of fun, thanks!
Was my first long/latt solved GC. The window clue is a bit off tbh. The front of the building is on the street (3) The windows facing the platform are of the side or back of the building. Not the front. It makes a huge difference. Not sure how this has survived without a fix after 20 years. Found it. Found the floor. Many spiders (friendly) no pen or pencil. Will go back and place a pen soon. Loved the solve. Great puzzle, thanks. Should be clearer. Loved that I had to think twice and learn my coordinates in solving and finding. Onward
Final mission for today: Yes, another golden oldie ticked off my list. Numbers were gathered along the way. I sat on the empty platform to work out GZ, and since the sun was still shining, so I took a stroll. At GZ it took me a moment to find the correct location of the cache, but it was soon in hand and signed.
What a adventure! . ben777, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area.
Did the calculations after nearby CITO then went for the wander here.
Pleased to have a quick find at GZ.
Thanks ben777 for placing and maintaining for all to enjoy.

✓ Kurung thanks you for the cache!

I decided to smash out the Multi in the morning before heading up for a coffee/cafe meet up in North Fitzroy, I got the numbers but didn't have the time. Headed up and completed the Merri Creek CITO with plenty of free time to continue the rest of the multi afterwards for a debrief walk.
I stretched on down, finding the container and signing right away. Thanks for a good multi!
Picture attached of the morning clean up too.

I collected the information for this cache on my way to the CITO nearby and did my calculations back in the car after the CITO. It turned out that the final coordinates were on the other side of the railway line and a fair walk away. I was already pretty tired and needed to recover before trying this one. I then decided to approach the cache from a different direction, which proved successful. It meant we had a shorter, flatter terrain and coincidentally showed another aspect of the Creek and the park we had been working in.
Back in Melbourne for the third day of study in a row. Hitting the books and doing extensive reading is fun, but getting out and about and getting some fresh air is a good idea.
We are making an effort to complete more Multicaches as we have only found a relatively small number. It doesn't hurt that is an older cache we are also working to find more of.
We both know this area pretty well, having lived in nearby suburbs at various times, and there is always a good selection of coffee shops in which to grab a hot beverage.
So with a hot beverage in hand, we made our way to collect the required information and make the calculations.
Once the calculations were made, it was off to find the cache. It is wonderful to find caches that have been around for so long and in good condition. Although a line for the great animated adult comedy Archer did spring to mind.
Thank you for this Multicache ben777.

Great to catch up with a few others counting and calculating coordinates. Quickly found, thanks heaps.
A smiley and an old cache, what could be better than that. Thank you for maintaining this cache for so long thus letting so many find it.
I like to try and find the older caches so pleased to have a smiley here at last. Thanks for placing the cache and keeping it going for so long.
Calculated GZ easy enough but took AGES to figure out how to get there! I went a long round about way - like 3 sides around a rectangle, only to find others had had taken a short cut... But glad they were there to shake the millions of ants off the container!

*Cache find # 14118.*
I noticed this one very close to the CITO today and as it is a very early cache placement, I couldn't go home without finding it.
I had started but before heading to GZ, I headed off with a few others to another cache before returning to this one and on to GZ where the cache was found quickly with help from robmc.
Plenty of ants on this one.
**Thanks to ben777 for placing this cache.**

I decided that this year I will concentrate on my Ausmer grid and this is the first one to be ticked off.
As I had to work today I made the long detour to here to try and find this one.
A nice easy multi and now to work out how to get to GZ.
Nice and quiet around here and I had the place to myself.
Only thing is that ants have decided to call the area home.
Thanks for keeping such an oldie in play for so long for us to come out and find.
Thanks ben77 TFTC

Thanks for the great cache. Seen that this had been replaced, so finally in the area to go and grab it. In the dark too, it within 3 minutes found the original cache with the original logbooks and all. Fantastic to read all of the logs dating back to 2004!
Didn’t find the replacement, but the last log was in mid 2019 with the last finder lining up with the last person finding prior to being replaced! Wish that counted for some unloved of 3.5 years!
Thanks for the great multi.

I took advantage of another trip to the city to work towards clearing out the CBD, and also catch the train to a part just northeast of it that I hadn't really explored but was curious about nonetheless!
Also piquing my interest today was the city's e-scooter program; it was my first time using them around Melbourne and to travel between geocaches which was a lot of fun and very convenient, if a little pricey!
I was somewhat randomly compelled to visit Rushall Station of all places today, though this old multi helped to incentivise the trip.
The train ride towards here felt mostly familiar until Clifton Hill where, compared to most of the few trips I make along these lines, I headed 'the wrong way' and wound up right where I needed to be!
The numbers were able to be collected only moments after I hopped off the train which was a pleasant surprise.
Once I'd finished my calculations, I spotted an e-scooter and figured I could have a bit of fun getting to gz!
Embarrassingly, I tried to get there from the north only to realise that there was a creek in the way and, not wanting to go for the cliff option, I headed back under and around this time, thoroughly enjoying every bit of the 15km/h I was going.
I eventually found myself at gz and parked the scooter before heading over in the direction of a few dogs and their owners who were enjoying the area.
I took a seat pretty much on gz, then when I was adequately convinced everyone was distracted by the animals' antics, I retrieved the cache and signed the logbook within.
I doubt I'd ever have ended up at this peaceful part of the world without this multi... that was until a train came around the bend and momentarily wrecked the aforementioned peace!
Thanks to ben777 for placing this multi here and continuing to maintain it!

We had gathered the coordinates but didn't have time to pick up last time here, so today it was a ride to get the final. Took a super dodgy small track with a cliff at the side from the station, and soon arrived at GZ. Thought must have calculated wrong, however gave another search and found the well concealed cache. Gem! A nice park to visit, thanks.
Parked close by, and began to gather the required info. I was nearly run over by a cyclist who obviously couldn't read all the signs regarding dismounting.
I sat to calculate the coords, and checked the satellite view to try to figure the best way to get there. I decided to take the most direct route, even if it did test my fear of heights.
At gz, there was only one muggle in the distance, playing fetch with her dog - although it seemed the owner was doing most of the fetching!
Using the undone shoelace trick, I soon had the cache in hand, signed and returned to its cosy hiding spot.
Thanks for bringing me here today by placing this cache, ben777

I had visited this multi a couple of times to check and recheck GZ, only to confirm it was indeed missing. I saw it had recently been replaced so it was great to finally tick this old cache off the list.
Thanks ben777 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to find.

This ancient cache has had this sad blue face staring at me for a couple,of years Today I was out with echidna44 and it was a quick find this time an enthusiastic dog kept interrupting our search by bringing us its ball demanding we play Thanks for maintaining this historic cache ben777
Out with au.fait, we returned to this multi after logging a DNF in December 2020. An easy find now that it has been replaced, but we were ‘helped’ by a dog with a ball who seemed to think we wanted to play. Thanks ben777.
Thanks ben777...we enjoyed this cache! Got us thinking whilst enjoying the tranquil scenery...just us and a some dog walkers! Final coordinates are pretty good and hint helps if you get stuck! Tftc
Collecting this one was a good excuse to give my new rig a test ride. GZ was quite busy with dogs and muggles so a stealth collection was needed.
Not many loud noises today with track work up the line causing disruptions to services.

Hi Everyone,
Finally managed to get this one back on line. New container in a new hiding place very close to the original.
Thanks for your patience!

Hi all,
It seems some people are having trouble finding this one. I'm going to disable until I can visit and verify the status of the cache. It's been a long time since I've visited.
I will turn it back on once all is good again.

I’m really not sure this one still exists. While my maths is not great, I think I have the correct coords. Those train wheels really do scrape!
Got the correct coords (double checked) and still couldn't find it. Guess I am "stumped" for now. It got dark so I had to go.
Having a lovely time with echidna44 but a rather frustrating caching outing with several DNFs Too much pudding clogging the geosenses. As we drove by here commented that was another DNF and realised I’d missed logging it about a year ago Oops
Out with au.fait, we needed the exercise after all the Christmas food, and decided that we would do a bit of caching. The problem being that we had a few DNF’s and our excuse was that we were overweight and tired.
As we passed this multi, it reminded us that we looked for the cache at GZ about a year ago, all to no avail - so I am logging a DNF now - sorry -

We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
After double checking the information and our figures, unfortunately this 1.0/2.0 didn't want to show itself to us today!
Thanks for the hunt anyway ben777.

We collected the clues easily but was slightly stumped on how to get to the the final location. Got there in the end though and made a quick find. TFTC!
Today was my last in Victoria before catching the ferry to Tasmania to visit family and friends for a couple of weeks.
Most of the day was spent finding caches in as many of the LGAs in and around Melbourne as I could. I mainly focussed on puzzles and challenge caches, but also grabbed a few traditionals, multis and a letterbox where I could or It worked better.
A nice, quick and easy multi that I was able to complete while in the area late this afternoon.
Thanks ben777 for the cache.

Was looking in the wrong area when I double checked my numbers and realised I did some basic maths wrong. Got the right numbers and found it straight away. Thanks
We approached this one from across the creek, so we went to WP2 before WP1. I'm kind of glad that we did because the heartache of standing at WP2 and seeing the path blocked must be unbearable. As it was we had no trouble following the paths and arrows. This is a little hidden gem isn't it? The trains here aren't rushing one tiny little bit. I wonder where the tightest corner is? Between Flinders and Southern Cross? The cache was in absolutely excellent condition - it was nice flicking through the original logs and seeing the old names. Thank you ben777 - quite the adventure.
It's always good to find a 2004 cache, even better one still with the 2004 log book. I followed the modern custom of signing and dating, but clearly back in the early days the log book WAS the log. I know the area well enough to expect where GZ was, and so when my inability to count ticket machines put me somewhere else I just massaged that number until it produced a GZ where I thought it should be. And was. Thanks ben777 for this cache.
Kenbryl, Jenno3, Sean.75 and I headed down this way to find a few caches and escape home for the day. This was the first one on Jenno3’s list and we found it without any issues. Tftc
Here today grabbing some older caches. Head to gz and got required numbers. Kenare Sean.75 and kenbryl along with myself finally made the find. Tftc and multi
After working out the co-ords for Gz, we all headed over to find the cache. Cigc. Tftc
I headed down this way today with Jenno3, kenare and Sean.75 to convert some dots to smiley faces. Win win so far!! Its not like us to get a multi right on the first go!! LOL. TFTC
The final day of the Melbourne Parkville Mega event with the Godfather Freddo and gridge98, and it was a day of high terrain adventure caches, driving around collecting the Handbag series, and then riding around some more of the various river and rail bike trails collecting the Parkville caches.
A last cycle ride collecting a patch of Parkville caches on a nice lazy yet sunny Sunday afternoon. Thanks to the preparation and management of this cache, cheers.

Found this one this afternoon while caching in the area during the mega weekend. We set about gathering clues for this one and after knocking out a reasonable set of final co-ord's we headed off (firstly checking google maps as we were not too sure how we would find our way to the gz) and after a little searching about had the cache in hand. Thanks ben777 for the nice little multi and the hide and for showing us a little of this area.
I was out caching today with Happy Feet 1, Happy Pants & Omega Man our main aim was to complete the handbag series then find a few extras on the way back to the event.
Thanks for placing this cache ben777

Why is everyone always rushing? We have learnt that sometimes it is good to stop and smell the roses!
Generic Mega log:
Our trip to the Mega was shorter than the originally planned 4 days due to various personal issues. But a late gap in the calendar meant a FIFO for Brad only rather than the originally planned DIDO for both of us. Ruff_Ruff and TBQ also missed out.
Fortunately Brad was able to hook up with some enthusiastic teams for a busy time. Logs were signed /stamped with individual team names, or in some cases the various teams' initials of KBFGDJM were used for a group log. (or variant anagrams thereof.)
Thanks to all the tireless workers and hiders for all the great caches and for another excellent Victorian Mega Event

Out this way with Happy pants, omegaman1971 and Di Morgan. The main objective today was to do the handbag series after doing all the puzzles. Took the opportunity to also grab anything else we came across, along the way. We saw a number of other teams and visited some nice little park areas, while completing the series. We had no DNF's and made some good discoveries and clever hides during the day. The logs where signed HHO, while we had some fun and laughs along the way.
We gathered the relevant info, which allowed us to make a quick find once at GZ.
Thanks ben777 for placing the cache for us to find and doing the maintenance to keep it in play.

Mega time, we packed the bikes and headed south for a weekend of caching, company and
lychee beer.
Day 2 and we headed down the Merri Creek trail collecting a few caches along the way with Robmc and BettyBoo. Another epic multi we have tackled in fits and starts, tody we collected the final on our way past. We found the container a little way from where the satellites were sending and the clue confused us for a bit.
Thanks for adding to a terrific weekend ben777

Found It!
I found all the clues and then set off to GZ. I took the long way around since the short way was blocked by some people working on the train tracks. Nice little park!

Apologies for the generic log below:
Away for the weekend with Freddo and Davidwazza to the Parkville Mega.
My first mega that I had attended and I had a really enjoyable time.
Some of the log books were signed with my name others were signed with just a G part of the group name, a combination of KBJGD.
We were happily joined by KB who was a machine finding a lot of the caches.
Thanks to the CO for all the placement of caches, the earyh caches answers will be sent in the coming days also.
We were very successful in finding majority of caches but some we DNF.

We would not have found this without the tenacity of H_Quinn. Persistence. Eyes. Skill. And she said GO ME!!!!!
Found on the Parkville mega event round trip. This cache added to the experience.
Thanks ben777. and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!

We definitely went all the way around. Our first attempt had us on the wrong side round. Our second attempt had us walking around the find without seeing. Our third attempt had H_Quinn saying ‘found it’. TFTC
Calculations were fairly straightforward but took a while to work out how to get to GZ. Once there it was a quick find. TFTC ben777
I was out this way and needed a cache for this year and month to help towards another challenge. An easy find on a Sunday morning. I wasn't sure how to get to GZ once I'd calculated coords but driving around and a short walk was easiest. Many thanks for keeping this one going!
While in the area for an appointment, I had targeted 2 caches I had to get. The appointment finished early, so took a look at other local caches.
At the train station, I was surprised to find that the closest station was at the station. Not a usually a big fan of multi caches but how could I not go for it?
Nice easy multi, even if I would say the myki readers are yellow.
Got to gz and enjoyed watching a couple of dogs playing football before finding the well hidden cache.
Thanks for the cache Ben 777

A Day off work and what better way to spend it than to hit the bike paths in the Big smoke and collect a few smilies.
With well over 35Ks ridden, it was perfect weather to be knocking off some of the Parkville caches and the odd others that were on or near the paths.
Most of the people I came across on the paths were friendly, and when in need with a slight mechanical or needing a directional tip were happy to help out a fellow cyclist.
For someone not used to Melbourne, I gotta say biking is the way to go to get around, and also tackle the caches, in the city area.
After gathering the info I was backtracking to find my way to GZ. After a bit of a hunt I was coming up with nothing. But rechecking numbers, then watching a train screaming around the bend, all I had to do was spread out a little to make the find.

On my way home from visiting my son who lives in Collingwood, and also this cache has been on my TODO list for way too long, I had to park along the road, and got all the required numbers while trains ran up and down the lines, sat on the nearby seat and worked out a feasible set of cords, had a short walk past the local garden plots, and under the rail bridge to the GZ, where I had to do a bit of searching for the hide, I stamped my sign, and retrieved a TB, Thanks for the hide here, ben777, all is in good condition here today

Today I had an annual leave day from work so I decided to bring the bike over to ride the trails here to find some of the new Parkville Challenge caches that had popped up recently. It was pretty chilly on the hands so the gloves were out for the first couple of hours which made it quite annoying using the phone having to take them off. The forecast 10% chance of rain didn't happen though so that was great. I tried to do most caches I came across on the trails including, letterboxes, multis, trads and challenges so the day had plenty of variety.
This cache was the closest to where I had parked and after a bit of clue gathering I had a GZ and headed off ... in the wrong direction. A few minutes later I had the right trail and got to GZ and found nothing matching the hint so I searched nearby in case I got a number wrong.
In the end I triple checked and got the same GZ so a better look around and I soon had the cache in hand. Dropped off a TB.
Thanks ben777 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Sometimes you have to trust your Geosenses... and sometimes you don't. A few days ago I diverted through this way on my ride home to find this cache. I know the area, so collecting clues and getting around wasn't too hard. Then I got to GZ and it just didn't feel right. Geosenses said I'd gotten something wrong. It wasn't what I expected, it didn't seem to match anything that I'd read in previous logs and it didn't look like a place to hide a cache. So I hopped on the bike and continued home without even really looking.
When I got home I sat down and read previous logs and checked my calculations and it seemed that maybe I'd been right after all. So today I went back and had the cache in the hands within 30secs. Sometimes you just have to trust the numbers and no your gut! TFTC

Today I am on the countdown to my 3000th cache. I started the day on 2986 and this was the third taking me to 2989.
I had previously picked up the required information but for whatever reason that I cannot remember I didn't pick it up.
I hopped on the bike and made my way to the GZ which was clear so I soon had the log signed. TNLN. TFTC.

On a long ride today, I was targeting this and three others for my dates hidden calendar. With only 12 to fill, this was my first.
I must confess to being unaware of this Station until a few months ago when a friend took me here on a ride. This ride has now become one of my favourites, as the stretch of Merri Creek is beautiful. Today, I collected the required information, being careful not to fall for the tricky one about the seats, and headed toward my calculated GZ. However, the maps seem to suggest a path I could not find, so I approached from a much more circuitous path.
Approaching GZ, I rode past a walker playing with her dog, but thankfully GZ was away from her. I looked here and there in likely spots before discovering in an even more likely place. Thanks for this great multi, ben777. A favourite from me, primarily because it should have one, but doesn't, but also for the considered final hide.

First one back in AUS. Solved coordinates jest before I left at Xmas. Happy to find in the dark as not too many visual distractions although I had planned to take the hint literally. Quick enough find. TFTC
This took a while. Miscounted one of the things and quickly realised I needed to go back. Did a recount and set off again. Then I needed to jump a fence. Got to GZ which is very overgrown with long grass after all the rain. I was about to give up after searching for 15 minutes, but did one last check and there it was. Not as easy to find as I would have thought. I expected the cache to be full of water after all the rain but it was bone dry. This was a challenge.
Got it! It's taken about three trips to the hairdresser to sort this out. Last time i visted the fence was up...luckily for me its gone now. Scrambled around in tbe 5 minutes I had spare and came up with the goods thanks for the cache!
Yay! Found our 2nd multi cache looking after two new geokids. Slight confusion with the benches but not too much trouble and an average hunt until we found it. Didn't take too long. TFTC.
Well I rushed and I rushed and I soon had the coordinates for ground zero. Which is, as previous finders have logged, currently fenced off. Now no self respecting geocacher would obey such a temporary fence, except that there was workman in the lunch room. As they we're not working, I decided to be brace and ask if I could go over to that *** object. Of course he said. But why? So I explained geocaching to him. He sounded interested in the game, and said he would tell the workmen to make sure that the cache wasn't moved as they were going to tidy up of the area. So I hope that's a good outcome! TFTC ben777
In the area today to get some pirate booty from the local geocaching store and concentrate on multi's with wozzle68. After collecting our clues we decided to be lazy and drive to GZ making for a quick find. Just a word of warning though the GZ is temporily fenced off at the moment.
Thanks ben777 for the cache.

A little bit dodgy at the final but we managed to make the find
Thank you for placing and maintaining the cache.

We jumped off the plane, picked up the hire car and headed straight here. We didn't even stop for coffee! I read some previous logs last night, noting there had been some issues with one number but with it being reworked there should be no confusion now.
We did our sums quickly but carefully and were happy with our workings but how do we get there? Walking across a train line home in Tasmania is not a big deal, but it is in Melbourne! After a bit of a false start, we worked out how to get there. AT GZ we struggled, we found what was left of the hint but nothing hidden there. We widened our search dramatically in case we messed up a number but eventually came back and found it only a very short distance away.
THE REPETITIVE BIT
We had planned a weekend in Sydney but the forecast was for rain. With Melbourne looking clear we changed our minds at 8.30pm Friday and came over on the 6.10am flight Saturday. Our aim was to fill in a few ‘placed months’. We picked up our first one in the suburbs then worked our way down to Sorrento, across to Queenscliff on the ferry and up to Sanctuary Lakes for the night. Sunday saw us start off at Point Cook before heading west almost to Ballarat, then across to Gisborne and back to the airport for our Sunday night flight home. 600km and 36 hours later we had achieved our goal, adding 13 placed months to our stats.
Thanks ben777 for getting us off to the start we needed

Determination got us there! We are from Tasmania visiting our daughter for the week. Attempted this cache last year but no success! Finally after thorough searching and reading through past finds we had success!!!! A great find!
I snagged a park and grabbed the info. I headed off for a walk and I found the cache quite quickly. What a nice spot. Thanks ben77.
After finding the new cache Viktorians - Paris raid we set off looking for this multi cache. After punching in some numbers we got out final coordinates. After reading some other logs we got a good sense of where the cache was. TFTC.
I wasn't having a successful caching day today and when I arrived at GZ after finishing both waypoints, I was in a grassed area with nothing matching the hint. So I took a seat to try and see where I went wrong, then read through some logs. One stood out, so I had a quick scan and headed over, could that be where it is? Yes! I'm so happy I found it, then a train pulled in, the squealing is quite loud. Thanks
I did rush there, but not by choice. After I boarded a bus in Kew the kamikaze driver decided he had to make up time. Why I don't know because he was only four minutes late arriving at the stop. He charged along at break-neck speed and stood on the anchors every time someone wanted to get on or off. The front brakes on that bus will definitely need relining this afternoon.
I elected to walk the rest of the way to Rushall station where I picked up the necessary info, did the calculation and finished up in an unlikely place. From there I heard complaining train wheels on the other side of the creek and realised something was wrong with my co-ords. I checked my printout and realised I was working with an outdated formula. After reworking the figures a likely looking GZ emerged and off I went. The cache is in excellent condition. Tftc.
