Why did the turtle cross the railway line? We don’t know but found one stuck on the train line with its head in the wrong spot. Being an experienced turtle rescuer I located its rear end before picking it and making sure that was aimed away from my body. Turtles have a nasty habit of empting their bladder when you pick them up and you tend to get covered in the stuff.
Placed him on the edge of the dam thing and just as he was about to enter the water an egret swooped down and carried him off.
Found the cache and did all the normal caching stuff.
Note: there was a bottle of something (ink?), which is placed next to the cache because it’s leaking.

Got here late in the day – found the cache easily but unfortunately didn’t have time to have a good look around so will have to return some other time. Fabulous views – worth the trip up the hill just to admire the view. Thanks Hoop Snakes

Hellooooo Denman. What a top spot and gee if we were fitter we would love to go exploring here
After one false start when it looked to be the right spot we found a rock ledge and a stump but nah.. oh look they extend right along the whole edge.. GPS said we were 230 metres away so off we set and as we approached the co-ords (me with a limp from a knee injury, hubby bent double over a walking stick, our kid - are we there yet and borrowed kid - hey come back, slow down, get away from the edges....)
we found the cache and a bonus of a kangaroo skeleton (which the boys found pretty cool coz it looked liked a dinosaur skeleton)
So found the cache grabbed Saddam left three things and took three little things (argh forgot what they were). Great views so we decided to walk DOWN the mountain while hubby drove. Met some kids who regularly frequent this area met a couple driving up with a gps ?????? Hi wish we had said hello!, had lunch at the Royal and set off home tired but happy and with 2 travel bugs. Both will be relocated very soon Thanks all for a great day.

Sadam has arrived and is watching over Denman. If this fellow doesnt move on within the month I'll move him closer to the coast!
Had another one of those days. Decided to go caching so what happens? it starts raining for the first time in eons. So Im driving around the mountain checking out the sights and realise the gps is pointing to the bottom of the mountain, so down I drive and start bush bashing looking for this cache. I finally get to ground zero where there is a pile of boulders. I searched everywhere while in the back of my mind Im wondering where the cave is meant to be. I finally give in to the wet and cold and make my way back to the car, getting even further wet and cold. I check the cache page for hints and then notice the coordinates are not the same as the waypoint on the gps!. Ive got no idea how they were altered but after correcting them and driving back up the mountain I found the cave and the cache(love the hiding spot!)
Found the cave, then found the stash - took the monkey for a trip into the cave!
Thanks for the fun and great views on a beautiful 23 degree Winters day!

Found this easily as the sun set on another beautiful day. The cave was pretty impressive too. TNLN but removed the liquid chalk as it had leaked through the container.
The full moon and the orange sky of dusk over the township was very pleaseant. We had a close encounter by the golf course with a kanga of roos. Thanks to The Rats animal instincts and reflexes we narrowly avoided contact.
I had put the waypoint for this cache in my GPS back in April prior to a camping trip through the Barrington Tops but didn't attempt it then. So armed with only the coords and a 6 week old memory of reading the page, I bravely took a right turn off the New England Hwy and headed for Denman. Hmmm, cute little town, river actually has some water in it!? Drove a little way out of town and up the steepest bitumen road I have ever driven up! That was unexpected!
I found the cave OK but after looking around for a while I gave up on the hunt. Now having later read the discription I was looking in the wrong place. However I am a bit confused as the cache is called "virtual" in both the hints and the detailed discription. Is it still there or can I claim a virtual find?
Nice lookout and a beautiful view.
Thanks!

will correct the main page when I can get the page unapproved, sorry about this!]

After the Microwave I was not sure if I should wait before doing this one, in the end a tree made the cache unreachable by road.
