TFTC First problem i didnt know what a Fresca-Qualos was. 2nd I didnt know which was the front so couldnt tell right side. I spent a lot of time but still could not find it. On holidays from NSW
Took a trip to Anlaby Station, and while we were in this area, we visited Eudunda. Never been before and enjoyed our look around. TFTC.
Found with Mel7119 while travelling in our motor home. Nice spot. Logbook full. TFTC
Had a good look around but no cache was revealed before the allotted time was up.Hopefully I'll have more luck next time. Thanks for the hunt Skippy.I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of this Land, and their continuing connection to it. I also wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*
Second time looking for this one - not where I originally thought - log was too soggy to sign so took photo as evidence of finding
A quick find while heading to NSW from Yorke Peninsula spending a couple of nights at Bower to grab a few caches.TFTC
Travelling around Australia. I came here to visit a friend working in a farm around ! That was his first cache ever!! Lots of emotions!! Thank you for this nice one
Something special or unusual goes here:It was hot. The object to be searched was metal. The metal was hot. The ground was hot. I think I got sunburnt and some burnt body parts but I found the cache. The things you do for a smiley. [B)] Did I mention it was hot [?]The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday Trek with just me and Mrs. Sewer Rats. I had itch to retrace last Tuesday's Trek up through Morgan to Waikerie for lunch, cruise back via the Sturt Highway and clear out a few more caches. That itch just needed to be scratched. We made it to Morgan for a late lunch and made it to Waikerie around dinner time and back to the Rat's nest as the sun set. A few more laughs, a lot more caches and yet there are still that require yet another trek!**SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks Skippy. for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Nope, not today! We crawled, we kneeled, Chookster got under the damn thing. We poked every orifice on this bloody thing and we came up empty handed. The tracks were hot, the rubble was rough, the patience wore thin.Too good for us today. This was our first DNF of the trip, but not our last!TFTH Skippy
Found on our way back south after spending three nights camping out at Parachilna Gorge, Blinman and Caroona Creek. Very nice to find one of SA's early caches. Thanks for the cache Skippy!
Contrary to the previous finders observations, the tracks were extremely cold this morning and I could not find the prize. Too clever for me.
Well it was time to start the long drive home from rural SA to the ACT. I decided to stop in Eudunda when I seen the information about it being the home town of Colin Thiele, who is actually my great uncle! I had no idea this was his birth town and the town is dedicated to him. I absolutely loved the short time I spent here, and it sure did pull on the heartstrings seeing the statue for him and all the write ups about him. I must spend more time here next time I am coming through
Took a bit of searching, but got there in the end, signed and replaced as found. The tracks were super hot today, scolding my knees and hands as I searched.
Thanks for the cache placement Skippy

On our travels we stopped to grab this cache, a little trickier than we thought, geo hubby started one end a i the others and soon we had the cache in hand, signed the log and hide it back in its spot, thanks for placing this cache
Of course it is in there on a rainy day. Down I go. Grabbed it in the third spot I entered and logged then replaced and went to wash up. The aircon can dry me off. Thanks for this one! Loved the gardens and met a lovely Volunteer. Sat with Colin for a second. I still read his books to children I teach. Such a treasure.
Day 13, week 3 of 5 weeks holiday.
Rockhampton Queensland to all over South Australia.
18 degrees, almost pleasant, the rain has given up. For the moment.
Trying to finish off the silo art in the area, we are at Eudunda and I head off from Buttons while she snaps away at the silo’s
I get the one just down from the viewing area first and then head to this one.
Everything is wet, I hate water.
10 minutes later Buttons comes along to save me from kneeling down in the mud and hands me the cache.
I knew I kept her around for more than her baking talents.
16 years of Queensland Rail didn’t help me at all here, I knew what the hint meant but was too busy watching the rain head towards me.

Went for a dusk walk after setting up camp, lovely stroll through town, not a quick find, lead up a few wattles by previous logs! After scrimmaging and poking a hand in, found it quite far back.

My caching, sadly, has been reduced lately to weekend drives with SpidermonkeysGrandma, out of Kapunda. Every direction from Kapunda. This cache was found on one of these drives. Many thanks for keeping me smiling.....
Today I headed north for a day of caching around Eudunda. It was a perla of a day for caching perfect temperature, blue skies and it was good to be alive.
Found around 50 caches for the day. Saw loads of sleepy lizards tying to cross the roads.
Lovely area will be back soon for more. So many caches to find so little time.
Found this eventually TFTC

quick find.
found with Mogni. Headed out in the general direction of clare and planned to clean out clare before the June Long Weekend End Event in 2022. As usual there was ALOT of caches found before then and only a couple of caches where found in clare before staying in Farrel Flat for the night. The next day was cleaning out Burra and slowly making our way home. Damn doing multi's takes so long, since the final has a habit of not being in the direction you are planning to go next. All caches that where found that were brittle or damaged were replaced and logs found wet where replaced, except for nano's. Nano's are evil spawn and you can do your own maintanence on them.

Day one of a camping trip testing out my new swag. I am slowly making my way up to the Flinders Ranges and taking my time exploring lots of little towns along the way.
One of the objectives of this trip is old caches (pre 2007) to satisfy a SFE challenge in Adelaide.
A quick stop in Eudunda to grab only the oldies. Plenty of other unfound caches to tackle the next time I visit.
I didn’t quite get the hint so I looked at some recent photos to determine where to search. Cache found shortly after.
Thanks for the cache Skippy.

Moving from Adelaide to Brisbane, jesswrigley and I decided to drive the long distance to make the opportunity a holiday, taking 12 days and passing through Victoria, New South Wales, and then finally arriving in Queensland. We spent the first few days in SA's Riverland, visiting Morgan, Berri and Renmark; and then drove through Mildura in Victoria. In NSW, we stopped at Hay, Parkes, Merriwa, Tamworth, Port Macquarie, and Coffs Harbour, and then entered Qld to stop for a night in Robina in the Gold Coast.
Today, jesswrigley and I commenced our mega journey to the north! We had a final farewell breakfast with family in Burnside, and then started the drive, as a small amount of rain fell (Adelaide crying perhaps?). We took the route through Kapunda stopping at a few geocaches, and then had a rest in Eudunda whilst grabbing a cornish pasty. We then arrived at a friend's shack just outside of Morgan after lunch, and enjoyed an afternoon of Murray river kneeboarding and water skiing.
It took a few minutes in searching around before finding this geocache. I don't think Google helped too much with trying to interpret the hint. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Skippy for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. A pretty cool area and nice hide.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

Good to get a smiley on this one wouldnt of been the first time we looked for it great to see that the log book goes back a few years
Found it! Lucky my partner is happy to poke about where I'm not bold enough to! TFTC
Sitting on a lovely piece of history from Kapunda. The garden is a credit to the community. The hint was very helpful. Great hiding spot
