Sunday funday! We got up early and headed to Jordon Springs for breakfast. It was quite nice and one of the yummiest mochas I have had in a while. After that we met up with our friends (fitzy_1965, minniek, Joolay, contesta, Flintstones, Aquilus1 and sacada) to cache up to Katoomba and back. The day had its good points and bad:Good - great company, fabulous views, amazing places, finding caches and fantastic food. Bad - too many muggles, AL and Geocaching App meltdown. So frustrating! We found a handful of caches and got back to Penrith for an awesome dinner at Ros Niyom which was so delicious and the staff amazingly attentive. Not hard though, as we were the only ones there - everyone else was probably watching the NRL Penrith v Storm (Penrith won). We did a few caches on the way home after dinner before the roads got busy with very happy residents. This cache: what a spectacular spot in the world this is. Loved being here. Tftc!!!

what a lookout!everywhere i seem to go around here there's a great view. this one gave the perspective of narrowneck's inner side. this spot would be great to watch the phantom falls from. when i first arrived in katoomba a handful of days ago, i spied this one and another that were almost from a different era ago. so this almost two decade old geostash had to go onto the must visit list.had a gander around first before hunting down the stash, unfortunately discovered it strewn around ala the attached photo. put everything back and sat a bit to try and dry things. signed anywhere i could.tucked it back from where i assume its been mismanaged. bad lyrebird, bad.thanks for choosing such an awesome spot to hide a box waaaay back when, and keeping it alive for us all to keep finding. huzzah!

Geohubby (GeoTigerAce) and I are headed off on a 4 week holiday from Brisbane heading to Canberra, Parkes, Katoomba, Sydney, Melbourne, Ballarat, Dubbo, and Coonabarabran as our main stops, with lots of side stops along the way planned. A much needed road trip to take in the sites and spend some time away in nature.Over the course of our 4 weeks I wanted to focus on Australia's 'oldest' caches, and caches of interest (e.g., iconic locations, interesting locations, lots of favourite points, and places I have never been) as well as hitting my next milestone (#600). It has been a wonderful trip and we have seen so much, and spent a lot of time caching and exploring little places of interest. Thanks to all of the cache owners for maintaining these caches and bringing us to beautiful places on our travels, and challenging us to keep on looking at the world just a little bit differently. Lots of memories have been made.Day 10: TripCache #44: GeoHubby's Birthday! Unfortunately we spent the morning at the dentist trying to find a solution to the broken tooth problem (Fantastic dentist in Katoomba fixed it!). We then grabbed some lunch and headed down to Echo Point. Hubby had never been here, and it had been a long time since I had. Such stunning views - different to what I remember as a child - but I think more impressive as an adult.Another great cache in this area. It has been lovely spending time here. All good at GZ, log signed and replaced. TFTC.

We were here - Joodie & Joodax
after work walk, wine and relax!
Team SWAG Thanks for the cache and yellow dandelion.

So today turned out to be a very nice day. It didn't rain . We directed it to the Blue mountains, to Katoomba and it was great. We basically spent the whole day hanging around the Three Sisters viewpoints. Here you can see how little is enough for a person to be happy .
We wanted to go around the LAB and catch the bonus cache, but there was a helicopter flying with material all day and all the view points around the falls were closed. So we got in the car and continued along the overlooks towards Cahills Lookout.
So here is the view, sir. I have to share here about FitiPaldi ️️️
******************************************************
Chtěli jsme obejít LAB a odlovit bonusovou keš, ale celý den tu létal vrtulník s materiálem a všechny view pointy kolem vodopádů byly zavřené. Tak jsme nasedli do auta a pokračovali po výhledech směrem na Cahills Lookout.
Tady je teda panečku výhled. Musím se tady podělit o FitiPaldi ️️️

Was riding back to the campground and decided to stop in and get this one since no one was around. Yesterday I did attempt but there was a couple close to gz. Today I was just signing the log and a group of people arrived. Its a busy little spot. Thanks for placing this cache

16-Oct-22
Took advantage of sunny skies by spending the day in the Blue Mountains. Glad to finally spend time in this area after having to postpone due to poor weather throughout the school holidays. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their caches.

This one was needed for my jasmer grid and I saw that Seanso had just replaced the container by the logbook was in need of a new one. Bought one with me today in a sturdy ziplock bag and replaced. Inside the cache was a bit wet. There was fog all through the valley so oh didn’t appreciate the view which must be amazing from here TFTC

26-Jan-22
Found! Needs to be replaced though still all wet

22-Jan-22
Found. However needs maintenance as log is saturated. Did not have materials to rectify on me.
Will return next weekend and rectify if not already

21-Jan-22
I’d scouted this one before my half day trip to the Blueys, I saw the cache container was in dire straits, I also saw it was originally placed back in 2004 so had to keep this one going, cache container replaced but desperately needs a fresh log book. Tftc

31-Dec-21
Very wet couldn't sign your logbook

The container is busted. There is no lid. Everything is soaking wet. We have positioned it under a rock in a cave-like spot so it has some protection but it really needs a new container.

17-Dec-21
Yep it was drenched. I had no replacement with me.

14-Nov-21
On our way back from the Narrow Neck plateau we did a quick stop to find this. The wind was so strong thanks for the hint we didn't went to close from the cliff.
At GZ quick find. No lid on the container. Log book wet. Maybe the next cacher can grab a new container and a new logbook. We didn't have anything in our bag.
TFTC

03-Nov-21
Enjoyed a nice afternoon walk down to the lockout and spotted two black cockatoos nearby having a chat. Once they flew off we proceeded to GZ and made a quick find. With the cache in hand, we signed the log before replacing it as found. The container and log are in poor condition and in need of some TLC. Thanks for the cache Team SWAG.
