Will establish as to whether the cache has been geo-muggled and if so will replace with new one - considering there has been no finds for the last 3 logs.

Checked this for a second time - last time at dusk today in daylight - if my guess at where the cache should have been is correct then there is nothing there - have reported this to cache owner because of last couple of logs. is a lovely place - it would be a pity if its gone cheers niteowl
Had a good look around for this one, with no result. Was demonstrating this strange hobby to my sister while on a visit from Hamilton. Given the 2 previous fail to finds (one after 2 tries) maybe a check of the cache is needed? Found the items in the hint, but the final directions are not very specific, especially for a mico.
Mmmmm.. been here twice now, once today and once yesterday. Can't get the hang of this one at all. Checked the logs and I see some have found it quite easily and others had lots of difficulty, I'm one of the latter ones! Lots of muggles abound, especially the players over the fence who've been in significant evidence on both visits. Not to be deterred, I'll be back, and choose a time without the next door neighbours so that I can hunt unimpeded.
TFTC and I look forward to actually finding it!

This micro stumped us!! We hunted for quite a long time without success but needed to press on in our travels - maybe next visit.
My first Geocaching experience, found it without too much difficulty, thoroughly enjoyed it.
wasnt many muggles around today so it wasnt long before i found the cache.
sunny but windy

An interesting location. My smallest cache found to date. Looked but removed nothing.
Went hunting with MadActuary and parents, found this cache reasonably quickly - it helped that we went at dusk.
Took out TB "marcus" - he is going to the beach tomorrow with me and MadActury. We also left a golf tee.
Xmas Cheers

Great cache site. Found by daughter Lydia. Took a little searching but eventually found. Not too many people about. Introduced father-in-law to geocaching. Rapt!! Left Marcus on the move TB. Came from Canada to visit the sites.
Yay we found it, took dolphin, left business card. Nice spot.

Found it! cache too small for our toys. TNLN. No pencil BTW and forgot our own, so no log from us.
Just a relog of this one because I logged it with our clubs account (MUAC) back then.

Not the best time of year for the gardens. Tricky at the very end. Logbook and contents are a little damp.
Found the area easily enough, but had only just started searching when I suffered a case of mugglus-interuptus. I tried waiting them out, by they obviously had more time than me. Will try this one again next time I'm down (hopefully in spring - the place would be absolutely magical then). TFTC
We started at the other end of the gardens and enjoyed the early morning walk. What an awesome set of gardens/park. Good on you P. Nth. We struggled at the site and had almost decided to give up and then there it was peeking out at us.
Took the digi fish (not really knowing what it was) and left Buzzy Bee

What a beautiful garden! I loved it. Found the cache pretty quickly. Took nothing, left Digitalfish #2131. Thanks!
An entertaining break from the Nth Is Badminton Junior teams event. Wrong time of year for roses, but a lovely serene spot. Logbook notes were very wet.

Thanks for the search.

Last cache before heading back to the motel and getting dressed up for graduation! This cache was easily found, especially approaching from the right direction it was easily visible. I tried to hide it a little better upon leaving. No exchange made. Nice rose garden! Cheers Gav [519]
Good name for this cache. The garden was fragrant all right.
The cache was rather wet and in poor condition.
Took clothes peg, left business card
Thanks

Our last cache in the North Island this trip before heading back to Christchurch. Saw it straight away, but you'd only see it if you were looking! A quick log before departing for the airport. TNLN

Found with a work mate as we were down for the weekend for work, his first time caching and he loved it.

#72. Whoops! Set off a little late and dark had fallen by the time we found the right area. Fortunately a cacher is always well prepared and we managed to find the cache with my mini torch (from a cache in San Diego if I remember rightly!). Nice hiding spot. Took nothing, left bead.
Thanks

A great sunny day for a walk in the gardens. Found cache without too much difficulty - a good hiding place. No logbook in cache and a bit damp, so put contents in a seal-lock plastic bag.
In - 2 foreign coins (Euro and Fijian)
Out - Kooch ball

Visited this a long time ago!
I was down in Palmy for a week long course, and before I shot off to Wellington I took the oppurtunity to stop by and find this cache.
At the time, I remeber arriving at GZ (or so I thought!) and finding some old muggles making out. Ick! I re-read the cache page and discovered I needed to count the number of rose beds in the area. After wandering around for a while, I determined that I am not going to be successful in counting the rose beds. I flicked on the ipaq and strarted drawing the area, thus hoping to count my sqiggles upon logging the cache.
Sweet! The love birds have moved on. I started searching, and for a good 20-30 minutes I could not find it. I rummaged everywhere and started to get frantic as my time was quickly disapearing. I must have something wrong I figured, so the search area started to expand.
No luck.
Hmmph. Ok, lets relax, have a drink and a cigarette and use the hint.
Click! I quickly found the cache and logged the find.
Upon returning home a few weeks later, I discovered that my ipaqs battery had died and for some weird reason, nuked all my data - including the drawing/squiggles of the rose beds.
*sigh* no way I could log this cache...
until I talked to my good friend runzz, who was down in in palmy for work within these last few weeks.
I told him my story, and he explained that the cache had changed and I no longer needed the number of rose beds for the log. He also said there was a sign up which had the number stupid me!
Anyway, here is the log 5-6 months late.

[?] How many garden beds are in the Dugald McKenzie garden?
It's easy to find if you have a nosy around.
Fragances will be out soon - it has been winter afterall guys!!

Bit of a yucky day but a nice spot for the family excellent hiding place, cache was somewhat damp and the wee note book disintergrating so if someone would like to try and take another one along might be a good idea. - dog whistle + fridge magnet (with smiley of course)
Managed to talk the family into doing "just one more" before we headed off to the museum near Ohakea.
It was a fine, but cool morning. Frangrances were somewhat muted but still evident. The coordinates were spot on according to my etrex. Had four of us searching and this time my partner found it after just a couple of minutes. Good hidey hole.
Added "Spencer on Bryron" keyring, and removed "Destroy" keyring!
Thanks from the Giffords.

Oh what a cunning hiding spot
Found pretty quickly as just had to think like a geocacher although my father in law walked right past it which I enjoyed as he normally spots them first
Anything strange about two men walking around sniffing flowers? I was grateful that there were no people around
Another great place to come and enjoy for a picnic
Went for a walk around the area afterwards and also enjoyed the bird aviary close by
Will have to bring my wife and little daughter here next time we’re up
Thanks again Magooza for another hunt
- Nothing
+ Key blank
Cheers and good hunting
