it needs new cache container, due plastic box is broken into parts, paper Logbook isn't protected anymore
Found on a great day out with my son and JJNHH crew. Need a new container. Log in good shape but need a new container before the rain comes.
Saw a wedge tailed eagle hunting on the way here. Very nice spot. No red burn offs visible today (too windy probably), but some folks wearing red clothes were visible over by the trig as we left GZ. Thanks for the cache --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------In the spirit of reconciliation we would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of country on which we geocache throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We (the pants people) pay our respects to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
Found this on a very warm, windy Canberra day with grey skies threatening to open at every turn.Made for rather an invigorating hike up the hill! Which was exactly what I needed. Will have to return for a sunset next time. Thanks for the cache
Ascent puffed views rain
Geohound and I were out pack training for my upcoming Flinders Ranges hike. Although intent was to keep the heart rate down on the Mt Arawang Summit Trail, we were racing rain and daylight.
We took the chance to settle the breathing rate out with a boulder frisk without pack on back. Took in the views like Diadem described during initial placement, surmised rain coming and cracked on. Logbook damp but writeable. Container intact but locking mechanisms MIA now. TFTC Diadem!

i was doing my "SHIT" Training ~ Semi-High Intensity Training; to get my fitness back after my surgery i had,
A walk to the top of Mount Arawang, all off-track walking,
without looking for Geocaches,
then on top i did "rock hoping" training, and saw this box between the rocks,
so i have discovered this Geocache, without any coordinates and searching for it ....

A walk to the top of Mount Arawang where we enjoyed spectacular views all around us. Dark mountains in the distance with swirling white clouds, and rolling Emerald Hills directly below us.
It was lovely to find this old one at the top of the mountain and we have added our name to the log.
Thanks Diadem

A beautiful morning walk up down and around the mountain with J+J.AU that turned into a couple of hrs. Weather started out great for the day and turned pretty warm later on. All caches found fairly easy.

#1594 My second find for today and actually my main goal being a required hidden month. Scrambled over a few rocks before making the find and all in good condition. TFTC.
Found on a walk up Mount Arawang without the rest of Cheesemobile. No pencil but cache in good condition.
We took in more great views from this cache, this time towards the south west. Cache found in good condition. Cool older cache. Thanks for hiding this cache Diadem
Out with a small group today to collect some caches on Coolamon ridge. Great views from the top. Tftc
What amazing views from here. It was a lovely day to be out and about. Gentle breeze bright sunny day. Caches today signed by name or Capital Crunchers.

Today I adventured out for only the fourth time, on Lockdown Day 15, for a much needed hour of exercise. Lucky for me this area is within my radius.Bonus!
Logs all in good condition unless otherwise noted.
Thanks to the COs for putting out and maintaining all of these caches for our enjoyment!

Found with tubblesberryboy! Tftc:) We put a little something in there to swap, but also pen isn't working.
First time up this mountian, it is so incredible and I am blown away by how quiet it is here... barely a person seen. Which to an introvert, is truly a great thing. Tftc
I took a trip to Canberra to complete 'The Science of Discovery' souvenir campaign. Lots of Adventure Labs experiences and a handful of older caches made this a very successful day outdoors. Thanks to all Cache Owners for their contribution to this recreational activity.
Decided to climb Mount Arawang in the late afternoon. A brief scramble at GZ before finally locating the cache. TFTC

It was a perfect Canberra spring day today, even though it's not even spring yet. Since there is snow on the Brindies, we thought we would take the GeoPoodle out for a walk somewhere where their were both views and geocaches, and, today, the lucky winning location was Mt Arrawang.
We headed in through the horse paddock, and then up the steep climb, before heading down in a westerly direction and picking up the caches down that way - and we even spotted and logged a trackable..
This was cache number two, and, apart from the muggles taking a break nearby, which meant more stealth than usual, it was quickly found, and signed.
Thanks for the Cache Diadem

Red it is...Awesome it is!
Needed this cache as it fills a hole in my Jasmar grid.
I made a bee-line to this cache from my previous find, and now over to the trig before heading back down.

A straightforward find with the GeoPup as we rambled around and over the mountain on a gloomy day. Thank you!
Nice spot thanks. GPS put me about 6m away for a while but found ol’ red eventually and in good order
I wandered across the saddle to take in the views to the South, and made this lovely find. TFTC.
Cache 6247 on 19 Jun 2020.
After a week of working from home I felt the need to grab a few caches, and since it was a gorgeous day, arranged with the boss to have this afternoon off. Decided to focus on Cooleman Nature Reserve as there were a few caches in the vicinity that I could grab on a round trip. Managed to score nine caches for the afternoon in glorious weather. I really like caching with other people, but it was nice to head out by myself too. Lots of kangaroos and black wallabies spotted. Walked on paths, tracks, footpads and desire trails - really enjoyed the exercise and the lovely views from all over!
Second cache of the afternoon. It was sort of red - Pink to be more exact. But the red pen worked a treat! Great views from up here as you would expect.
Thanks Diadem for the cache and the fun!

E E E E EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE [Found!] at 4:03!
Important caching day for clearing purposes. Got Tuggerong, Tuggerong hill and many other places today. TFTC everyone!
A quick find here, avoiding the muggles nearby and pretending to open my snack box, which was the cache, lots of blackberries around here. Log signed and cache replaced, great views from here as well, TFTC Diadem!!!

Very cute muggle family sitting just out of view of GZ, no the little girls didn't want to go swimming... Lots of passing traffic, longish wait to retrieve, great views, thanks
**This Cache:**
Despite 4 recent DNF's this cache is definitely still here! In-fact I found it in less than two minutes thanks to the bright pink container peeking out from below some blackberry's and rocks. I did have to clear away a few blackberry's to retrieve it which is probably why it hasn't been found by the last couple people, they were too scared to look under the thorns
Cache in in great condition and coordinates were pretty spot on!
Thanks Diadem!

**Today:**
After enjoying a successful caching adventure around half of Cooleman Ridge a few days ago, and then being cooped up at home for two days straight without even stepping foot out my front or back doors, I decided it was about time I left isolation again to get some essential exercise! Too many days off, glad I still have a job in this crisis which I go back to again on Tuesday
Chose to clean out more of Cooleman Ridge today, and did a good effort only leaving a couple of ones that are easily accessible by car to grab on an off day. DSD joined me on the walk as he also had two more up here he needed to find!

Four cachers hunting but no joy today. Either a really good hiding spot or it’s gone...
Sadly spent way too much time up here searching with no joy maybe next time I did enjoy the views TFTC
I decided to take the long way back to the car & pick up a couple more smileys. This one took a bit of searching in the dark, as the GPS was poor. Cache soon found, though & in good condition. TFTC!
Found this one after looking for quite a while in the wrong places on a beautiful evening hike with the kids.

Yep, red it is... A "Red alert" day with a large fire in the hills just to the West (Pierces Creek area) and high winds predicted... The winds came, with a bit of rain... But the fire is still out of control. So this location seemed like an interesting place to come for some after work Geocaching therapy, and seeing the name of this cache - meant I had to come for this one today...
TFTC - for some odd reason, it is strangely enjoyable, and slightly surreal, sitting up here, in the cool wind, watching the Sun set over the smokey hills... and the choppers flying home across the narrow bit of green country between Canberra and the fire...
