Had a good opportunity to have a look for this one, though there were a few muggles on the water nearby. Nothing that matches the cache size / description could be seen even used the hints. May have been muggled / swallowed...
Lovely northly wind made this find easy on a warm day.
My geo kids rode there bikes around a beautiful area
Thanks Mix (where did you get that container?)

This was our second visit as the last time someone had muggled it. Went straight to it with my son at 4.10pm! Great cache.
There was more water on the land than in the lake as I approached in the pouring rain (the rain from that Sydney thunderstorm which moved up the coast). Don't really think I have an easter egg, but I do have a nice memory about MIX caches in the Newcastle region, I seem to do them when it is BUCKETING down. Anyway, nice concept and no muggles about at all.
Found the cache at 1.35pm. Love this place so beautiful area. SL Thank you for organise the cache and hunt.
Found this cache on the second attempt. It has taken a while to get around to find the time to get the chance to get this one done
Had to wait about an hour to get this one. Weekends are probably not the best time to attempt this one, but finally after continually telling myself to be patient an opening eventuated. Great boat ramp area. Pleasant spot.
Thanks Mix

Thanks to Detourism I now know this is gone for sure, it should be back soon (after I deal with another replacement – from Dubbo to Muswellbrook).
Got there a bit earlier today, 09:00 and whilst there was a bit of action at the structure it was only boats picking up fishing buddies for the day.
Had a lot of time to look around at GZ (even with the spoiler) and couldn't find it.
I suspect that it may have washed out from under the structure in one of the extra high tides that have occurred in the last week or 2.
As this is such a pretty place I will return in the future and try again

Arrived at 15:30 which turned out to be a really bad time as there was a family of muggles fishing from the jetty and they had also set up their picnic at the end of the jetty with their 2 dogs.
Decided I would come back early tomorrow.

We discovered a great spot to go kayaking when we found this one.

Found at 11.05am GAFF1. We had started early in the day from Swansea and by now were beginning to get hungry. So we decided to have an early lunch at the shore after finding the cache first. It was an easy find as it was quite visable from the side. This little village is very quite and charming. Thanks Mix for bringing us to this spot. Left an Easter Egg in the log.
This cache was a bit of a trip down memory lane. My Grandparents lived within a kilometre of this cache. I havent been to this neck of the woods for about 20 years, brought back alot of memories as well as showing me new things in the area. Cache was a quick find in a lovely location by the lake
Thanks Mix

Third search on a beautiful warm Spring Sunday morning. Heaps of people picnicing, boating, fishing. Tried to be discrete. Got a good view of appropriate hiding place, but alas nothing to be found.
Man the muggles here a bad, it took me a good 10 min to grab swap and replace the cache for another new one and I new exactly were I needed to go. The cache is completely replaced. When I get time I’ll photograph logbook and post it. The cache is in the exact same spot and has a snap lock bag to try and keep the log dry. Cache on…
A nice location...great to get off the freeway and explore this area .....shame they don't have any overnight accomodation around here
The log book is getting very moist...the pencil may become useless soon. I left the logbook dry out as much as one can when finding it near sunset.
Thanks for this idealic location Mix.

While the fishermen on the wharf were momentarily distracted by catching no fish. We fished the cache from it's hide and did the geocaching thing. Had a quick lunch and a cuppa in the park and fed the poor starving seagulls. Easy find.
Woo Hoo! Our first attempt at finding a cache was a success. Great one to start with being local. After dark made it easy to retrieve undetected although it took 2 trips with some fisherman staying out late. Beware the odour when opening, the privacy of our car didn't let the fumes escape easily.
3:47pm
We had setup the camper back at Budgewoi, and headed out to do this one and another one that was close by.
Easy to find, easy to get out, wrote a quick easter egg in the log and put it back without being seen.
The log is damp, and may go mouldy, it would probably benefit from a silica gel pack being placed in it or just a good drying out.
Nice spot.
Cheers

This was the biggest mongrel cache I have ever done. I hate that Mix and thank god I kept him outta bed at Midnight to find co-ords in the middle of a round-a-bout!
30 minutes to extract and near on two hours to replace. In the end I was going to pet it into a bin and say it wasn't there. Eventually I became crafty enought that I set the camera up next to the replacement spot (even though I was surrounded by families, fishermen, kids skateboarding and swimming and ricers with somethin to prove. Eventually I tucked it back but it took some patience.
Can't remember what my egg was - something about Pink Floys I think.
The Bronze.

I didn't have the cache sheet with me when I did this so I misinterperated the logs in the book. I knew where this was by the HUGE spoiler in the notes - thanks. Was able to find it without getting out the GPS. There were lots of waterskiing type muggles around so stealth mode was important. A nice visit to a great part of Lake Macquarie.
Took the whole family for a drive up to this cache. This has been our first opportunity for the Christmas break and were pleased to find a nice spot on this part of the lake. A couple of muggles in the area but they were busy fishing and didn't seem to notice me nosing about. I filled out the log and unfortunately as it was starting to rain I forgot to put the plastic bag back, so if you intend to look for this one please take a plastic bag for the paperwork. The cache is dry and should be okay. thanks.
Well, at last, we came back and found it! This time it was early sunday morning with only a few muggles about. Our first micro cache! cheers the hoop snakes
up in the area with our rover crew for a booting we decided to crack a couple of caches. unfortunately the gps was going crazy and we had to also use the clue not nearly as much fun (at GZ it was still telling us we were 130m away). don't know how subtle we were with such a big group but there weren't many ppl around. cache was damn hard to open! Laura added an egg for us.
Thanks

I returned.
I searched.
I found it.
Have to admit, the explicit clue was needed, as my GPS's contact with the sky gods still wanted to put us near the playground. I'll send an averaged postional reading to Mix76 for him to ponder over.
Despite considering a return trip alone after the last attempt, I did bring along my fellow trio of rats[:X][8)]. Lucky too, as they were able to body block the view of some dangerously close muggles while retrieving the elusive Easter Egg from hiding.
We took it back to the car, and spent a few minutes trying to crack the seal before a last valiant effort by yours truly (accompanied by some muffled expletives to help it on the way) finally got the bloody thing open. I had taken a photo prior to opening, so I could at least prove we had found it, even if we couldn't have signed the log.
Ended up using a micro pencil in the cache and left an Easter Egg about Spiderman's creator Stan Lee.
Thanks for the fun Mix.

I have re-rated this cache as it seems harder than I thought and added a much more explicit clue. Please use it as a last resort.

Me and micros just don't seem to get on.
Dragged a few friends and relo's out for quick hunt, as I was only 8km away (at least in a straight line).
The GPS took us to a clump of trees next to a playgound. This is NOT the right spot.
After getting lots of looks from the nearby muggles, we had to leave (father in law was starting to fret about missing a televised footy game, as though that was somehow more important!)
Next time I'm down this way I'll attack this one alone and with a vengence.
Bloody micros.
(Yes, I know I've hidden a micro myself, but that's different, cause it's mine.[^])

Visited this one with lots of easter eggs in mind but couldnt find it! Looked low, looked under, put my swimmers on and rescued a square block of wood and a tin can with holes in it but couldn't find the cache! Looked under the structure, under roots, and in the turing circle! Got lots of looks from the kids and adults fishing off the wooden structure and was wondering what we would do if we found the cache with so many people around! Any clues or is it microscopic? Nice location, have some friends who live around the corner, so no doubt we will try to find it again some time. Off to the thin black line, cheers!
