Super quick find in a beautiful location. I grew up in Cape Schanck so all of these caches are so special to me TFTC
We upped the terrain rating on this one by bush bashing straight down the hill. We definitely increased both terrain and difficulty rating unnecessarily but we love leaving the track We have been coming to Kangaroo Place for years but the youngest member of the gang usually got too tired. Shes 7 now and has levelled up in stamina and endurance so this one was an awesome adventure! We returned to the car via the path but the stunning little pockets we found on the bash were worth the extra effort! Ive never seen so many lillies in the wild! Easy find once at GZ and we also found two decorated chicken eggs in random places off the track too! Beautiful location. TFTC PS This shooters notice was out today so im guessing July and August will see this cache pretty quiet
Having a few days on the peninsula, so searched out some caches. After completing the Merricks - Red Hill rail trail and finding a few solved Jack Speak micros, I stopped off here to do a short(ish) walk. After a big day of walking and cycling on Saturday and Sunday, I was only planning to go as far as this cache this afternoon. Enroute I caught up to a group of muggles carrying on two conversations at the top of their voices. After attracting their attention (not that easy), they allowed me to overtake, and thankfully their voices faded as I outpaced them. Arriving at GZ, I figured out fairly quickly where the cache was likely to be. Retrieved, signed and reset just as the bellowing muggles began to be in earshot. Rather than be subjected to their high volume barrage, with my muscles warming up, I continued on along this scenic trail to find a few more caches. All in good dry condition. TFTC Muzza
After finding #5 I headed south towards Cape Schanck and took in this one. Pretty easy find, and a lovely area. Thanks for the cache.
Spending the week at Rye and found whilst caching in the area with Bogonghazy. Thanks for placing the geocache
Found with LittleBoss2 on a day exploring all the bush trails, and caches. Thanks for placing, loved the walk in. Now onto the next one, thanks Muzza
Came here on my day off to try to see some kangaroo and it was quickly successful ! I then decided I would continue walking the trail to the first geocache. After finding it as well I decided to continue walking a bit more before coming back to the car. Thanks for the discovery !
Easy find, neat rickety old bridge. Was actually 2 boxes to find. Might need to look under some greenery. Thank you
Found by Bob at 1150I sometimes get back into geocaching while house-sitting (in Rosebud) for my son when he's on holidays and it was fun to get this real oldie today. I did some of the others in the series a long time ago but I doubt I'll ever get them all. The cache has obviously been replaced not too long ago and is in pristine condition - although someone has added some sort of blue stamp which has leaked and it's a bit like one of those dye bombs they put in ransom money packages!TNLNThanks muzza
Thanks muzza. Cache in good condition and nice to be out here walking, rather than running the 2 Bays trail. Time to take in this beautiful scene. Happy end of financial year. Giddy up
Mission 2 Goal for the day another Golden oldie. Finishing up my walk via this path and back up the track near the kangaroo look out. Didn't really see any kangaroos today apart from a few hopping away. Cache container in good condition log book okay.
Quick find on day 2 of our walk from Dromana to Cape Schanck, helping geokid pass the morning happily. Lots of bone weed near here, trying to pull up a few along the way…
After finishing my work's Christmas and break up lunch nearby, I had plenty of time before needing to head home. Still recovering from a hard training session, and I thought a long walk might help. The walk did help, but after the drive home they locked up again. This is a lovely area and I saw 2 different echidna and a large lizard.
Great old bridge here. Starting to shoe some wear, but I didn't have any problems walking over it. The runners who to the Two Bays Trail might be a different situation.
I was able to quickly find this geocache in good condition after moving the blackberries out of the way.
Thanks for the cache Muzza

The first little find on our Greens Bush hiking circuit. With the beautiful backdrop of tree ferns and the trickle of the creek we looked in and around the obvious structure and found the cache reasonably quickly. Tftc.
An early finish to a nearby job give me a chance to check out the area and grab a cache..
My visit to the Peninsula was triggered by a plan to find the ** Double Calendar Challenge ** cache for my 3,500th find. With that task complete and still plenty of time left in the day, I was now stopping for a variety of caches as I started my way back to Melbourne.
I could have taken a detour from the *Long Point Circuit* to find this cache while heading for ** Double Calendar Challenge **, but that would have messed up my "find count"... so instead, I waited until I was heading for home and walked in from the Boneo Road... as I expect most people do. Apart from a few blackberries to battle, it was a nice, easy find.
Thanks **muzza** for another cache that you have kept going for quite a long time.

Love Bridge overpass, decided to do this whilst completing the other circuit trail nearby. So nice to sign a fresh log book and cache is pristine!
GPS taking me to a tree before the bridge so had a look there as well, but going by the clue I couldn't find there were lots of overgrown blackberry bushes etc
Fab day out to a new destination and lovely walk. A nice enough day with no rain drops to dodge saw a spontaneous new plan to head down on a multi mission that includes working towards 400 caches on the Peninsula - quite a challenge when you live in the mountains Also a great opportunity to meet up with buddies from way back at Flinders after the hunt. TFTC and the FUN and maintaining this little bewdy.
Found this cache with Hann this morning as well as two bays #6. luckily got both and made it back to the car before the whether turned bad. Didn’t take to long to find this one TFTC
This is my first find for 2020 it seems. I had on a previous attempt at getting to this cache, tried to approach from the kangaroo viewing grounds, only to be met with a very steep climb down the hill and having to go back up again. That was a bad idea, but that was then. This time, my buddy and I enjoyed a pleasant stroll along the trail, chatting. I started searching obvious places that were not GZ having not read the hint and the GPS not settling, but glad I did as I was hoping it'd be near the bridge. Not quite a regular, but cache was found although maybe not replaced properly after it was last found. Log signed and we returned to Boneo Rd.
Thanks to muzza for bringing me along here.

Found on a walk in Greens bush with the kiddos. Lucky there was still a piece of pencil led in the container. TFTC
We diverged from the Long Point Circuit to pick this cache up.
Though it added an extra 1.5kms on to an already decently-sized walk, we figured that the chances of us walking back in here to get this one were pretty slim.
Took a nice stroll through the trails until we got to gz.
Two sets of muggles went by before we were able to seriously start searching.
A good hunt later and we came up empty-handed, even after following the hint.
Finally, we stuck our arms in a little further and were able to locate the cache perched a bit deeper in.
Signed the log and returned, all looks to be in good shape.
Thanks to muzza for placing this cache.

Seeing as bow I was in the area I had to divert for this old regular sized cache. The bonus was a very pleasant walk along a picturesque track.
I wouldn't class the actual size of the container as regular anymore but I'll take the rated size where I can find it. Metro Melbourne has a fairly paltry number as you'd expect for urban areas.

Day 25 of my trip from Adelaide to Canberra via Tasmania and Victoria.
After spending the night at Rye, I.meandered around the Mornington Peninsula then on towards Wonthaggi, seeking out targeted caches along the way. It was great that the weather has improved a bit with no rain or wind today.
All in all it was a successful day with some enjoyable walks and 17 mystery, multi, letterbox and traditional caches found.
This cache was found this morning on a pleasant 2km stroll from the road then back out the same way while seeking out a nearby challenge cache that I had targeted.
Thanks Muzza for the cache.

Collecting a few caches in my training walk adds a bit more than just walking. Thanks for the cache
Found with Geo_wife and friends. Made a quick find of this cache, thank for the hide .
Thank you to the creator and I think that it was ingenius to paint it black, making it harder to find.
Came in from a different direction than most. From “hop to it” it’s a nice stroll down through the grasslands through the hundreds of Roos. Quite steep for the last 50 metres but cache in hand. TFTC

I had been wanting to get to this area for some time now so today I made sure that I was able to do that.
While travelling the Long Point circuit, I went right instead of left at the intersection and travelled down to this one.
This track is certainly a lot more overgrown than the previous track I was on which has had a mower through it.
I arrived at GZ and it was a good thing that the hint is there as the GPSr was wanting me at the opposite end but ignoring the GPSr and going by the hint the cache was quickly found.

At last a parking place with an entrance to the Two Bays walking track. A Couple of traditional caches to find before the prize of the Double Calendar Challenge can be reached. This was a pretty spot, and we found the cache on the ground. SL at 10.19am and tucked it away carefully, according to the hint. #5624 TFTC muzza, and now onwards towards our quest.
I just needed a few more to get the elusive dragon so I decided this little series would do the trick quite nicely! We used to do this walk or the bushrangers bay one (or both sometimes!) almost every weekend when I was growing up and it hasn't really changed much since then, well mostly anyway. This has always been one of the best places on the peninsula if you want to see kangaroos as there are always mobs of them around here especially around dusk and one of the things I used to love was how many grasshoppers there were here its always fun to see them all jumping everywhere to get out of the way! Anyway found the cache fairly easily then moved on to the next one. TFTC!
Up for an early morning walk, I joined the roos and headed for this one. There were many mobs here, over 100, with males guarding their groups and many bounding across the high ground. I wandered through and then down onto the track. Despite the hint, this still took me some time as I confused my directions.
A superb walk. Thanks for the cache, muzzy, and for bringing me down here.

Pitter-Patter Pitter-patter the raindrops fall upon the eager geocachers jacket hood as he is on the hunt for a smilie. With my eyes being set on this area for a rather long time now I finally organised to meet up with some cachers to do the new Bushrangers Bay series that was put up last year. But it seems that i was a little early and they are going to be a little late...... SO I thought to myself that I would go and do the stroll to go out and find this cache. After passing some trail runners I soon found myself at the required location and the cache was soon in hand after that. Anyways thanks for the cache and the great little walk
Those tree ferns are pretty huge! Still surprises me that they are on the peninsula and I am not up in the mountains somewhere! Thanks for the cache!

Nice day for a walk so I entered from the Cape Schanck end of the Two Bay's Track. Passed a mob of Kangaroo's who were keeping an eye on me as I walked along the track. Also a lot of Butterflies and tiny little grasshoppers, were taking off in front of me as I walked along the track out in the open. Nice hide in dry condition, thanks for the cache.
I found this cache on the return trip walking along the Two Bay Track. A couple of Muggles were coming pass. On way back the coast was clear. Good chance to have a bit of a break and grab an cache. Thanks heaps
I was in the Boneo Rd carpark in the late-ish afternoon and felt I had enough time to acquaint myself with this area. As recently as July I wrote in my log for the multi to the north that I wasn't even sure I knew this national park existed. And this is certainly the first time I've ventured into this southern part. Managed to find all but one of the trads, starting here. I felt sure I was getting close to this one, without consulting the gadget, when I entered a lush gully with abundant ferns. I'm quite a genius. The cache was then quickly found. Thanks again Muzza for the incentive for a wee hike!

Walked down from the car park through the field of kangaroos coming into the valley I was surprised how many wild Arum Lilies there were here. Cache found dry and in good nick.

Thanks to the clue, it was an easy find, which was lucky because just at that time, there seemed to be a lot of busy foot traffic along here. Also, without the clue, it would have been a wet messy search! Nice one!
Just had to wait for some muggles to pass through before I could have a look but didn't need much time as it was right where I thought it was tftc
Found after a short search- wasn't going to leave without a find! Nice walk, pretty spot. TFTC
