Saw Mr.Coffee and the Coffee Clan's note, so while I was in the area with MullinitOvr I thought we'd just have a look. I was looking in what seemed to be the old hide while MIO looked where Mr Coffee's coordinates indicated; neither of us found it.
Mr.Coffee and the "no rest until it is found" Clan found the cache today. It appears to have been found by kids but is fine, dry and OK, it was about 20 metres away from GZ and is a long story why I found it there. It has been re-hidden at 41.08.533 x 146.48.405 and contains the original log book which has a few scribbles in red pencil through it but is fine for future logging. We hope this will be unarchived as it was a great spot to visit and Yes we would like to log this cache.
I have taken photos which I will upload if the cache owner agrees.
Regards Mr.Coffee and the "a point worth the visit" Clan.

Certainly found the woodpeckers home.
No woodpeckers and no cache either.
I'd be fairly certain that this one has gone to the Geocaching Gods.

Hope we went the right way. The gate at the caravan park was closed so we walked in thru the park to find the cache. nice placement, easy to find 24th of 35 finds on this trip. TFTC All Cached Up
Well even with a modern GPS with City Navigator software I still couldn't get us very close. Turned out to be a good thing as we all enjoyed the walk to the cache in the dark. Another find by gspblu who used his retrieval skills to log our find. TFTC All Cached up. Looked like a nice place to spend a night but at something past 4 in the morning we figured we would just keep caching instead of trying to check in.
We all needed a bit of a walk and it turned out this cache provided it. Gspblu did manage to remove the cache. Thanks All Cached Up. TNLN
Ha the madness that is geocaching. We sat on our butts in the motor home at the caravan park just up the road this morning waiting until the Platypus house opened when if we had only turned the GPS on we could have been caching this cache!!! Oh the frustration of it all. MadMOO and BonkersBear raced me to find the cache and the oh so cute Mouse Travel Bug that was there. But the tree sure is in ruins!!! It should hold up for a little longer - but the hole is so enormous now that the whole container comes out easily. In fact we had to hide the container with bits of broken wood etc as the hole is so huge!! We did our best. TNLN Thanks for showing us yet another piece of Tasmania. Oh the Travel bug is coming back to Queensland with us!
The woodpeckers (aka whiteants) have been hard at work and the tree has toppled. The hidey-hole is still standing (just), but very enlarged now.
TNL Country Mouse TB to admire the lovely views.

visiting friends in the area so it was a great opportunity to get out and about on a glorious autumn day - my son found this one, nice spot. TNLN,TFTC.
The meaning of the name was obvious as I neared the area. Once at gz the cache was found in its very nice hide - it must have been made for a cache! Thanks to All Cached Up for putting one here.
What a top spot to spend the night at the place next door! We did, went for a walk last night without knowing the cache was about! Said to Mrs R that I could smell plastic! Sure enough upon checking the box this little number popped up, so before breaky we nailed the woodpecker, hehe. This is another beautiful part of Tassie! Thanx for the cache well done.
9th find for the day, havn't been back to this area for a long time, so much has changed since then, found fairly easily, log book is full but i didn't have a spare with me, TFTC.
Great location, fantastic views, the fauna is rather noisy in the evening. The guard possum wasn't pleased when we found the cache. TNLNSL TFTC! Please don't tell anybody about this cache, it is too nice!
Returned to find this one, was left alone this time and nearly gave up when I clicked with the clue and found a tight spot, and viola there it was!!! co-ords were a few mt's out but if you think about the clues, it is a breeze

Ah yes, this was a beautiful point, and a very clever hide. Stopped and had lunch, while Lars and Oregon the TB's played. Who should turn up? Wow, it's Swampy . Found by TTE. Cheers Quilter
I did not know that it has been archived as I am on longer hollidays. I still found the box lying on the ground near the tree. Logbook is still there and I did log. I did put the box back in the hole, so at least it still exists. The box can be removed if it should be closed. Nevertheless thanks for this one, as I was sleeping on the campingground.
This cache has been found by children and so will not be replaced.
Pity - this was a good cache (well, I thought so...)

We like these types of hides. Lovely spot for a BBQ and to enjoy the Tamar. Nice and easy cache.
Nice area for a stay. Strolled down to GZ and found cache quite easily. Had a bit of a look around and moved on to the next one.

Visiting from SA, was surprised to find a South Aussie’s cache. Retrieving it from its hidey-hole took longer than to find it . TNLN. Thanks Cached.
Some weather you guys have down there has destroyed my hidey hole tree!!
Will consider options on what to do with this one. Might give me a chance to use the general vicinity for a permanent b*&(^*^% cache put out for the event.
Thanks!

The tree that the cache was in has unfortunatley been split in half in a windstorm and will be removed by the local council. I have removed the cache and have it at home as I live close by. please contact me if you wish to relocate it or pick it up or i can find a new spot close to old one. Richard.
Found with robtas, a place close to our holiday retreat.
I knew where it was before we got there, I know this place so well.
The name of this cache says it all......

Found by Debbie and Michael Suitor with Robtas as an introduction to the sport. All OK and log noted.
Found at 1400.
Two senior muggles were sitting right next to the cache, so we casually introduced them to the sport, sworn to secrecy of course. They took the website address and were going to give it to their son... another potential geocacher. Anyway, a very easy find. Took waterbombs, left Olly, the Sydney games mascot.
Thanks All cached up.

Found this one without the GPS but with some local family help (have now introduced waylanders to caching).
Left some waterballoons for summer fun.

found this one without a GPS one look at the map and we walked straight to it. Of course we do visit this spot about twice a week so that may have helped. can't imagine how many times we must have walked past this in the past without ever seeing a thing. Great fun. I think the kids are hooked.Thanks.
Found with no problems at all. Great BBQ area and good swimming spot at high tide. Great hiding spot. Thanks!
Found fairly easily. We enjoyed lunch at a nearby hotel with our non-geocaching friends and then, (after explaining geocaching), we all set out for 'the find'!
With 'our' GPS in his hand, the male half of our non-geocaching friends found it!! ..... Wow!! .. Excitement plus!!
They took 'pins' and left 'our readied' swap, which was a little toy bus.
Thanks for the fun and the 'great hide'!

Yes, a beautiful point! It was a beautiful, sunny, tranquil day. Found on our 'escape from Hobart Show Day' northern cache trip - and we found out that Malbena was doing the same!
Took a mini padlock and left a boucey ball and finger monster.

Grew up in this area so I know the place well. Found it with out to many problems. Topped it off with a beautiful day.
By the time we got here the weather had turned from a fine day to a very wet one. No 2 found this one after I declared it was not where we both thought it should be. Now back to the car before we drown.

Left Cork board markers

Decided to take the better half for a Sunday "Mothers Day" drive, what else would you do on Mothers Day but go caching Found without too many problems, if I told you how I'd be telling you too much The posted co-ordinates were spot on, GPS zeroed out about 1.4 metres from the cache itself. A pleasant afternoon for caching, the wind could have done with a little less 'bite' in it though. Took Scout Adventure badge, left a dog collar in case someone wanted to take their GeoPooch(tm) for a walk around this lovely area.
