Logs
Almost 18 months without a find and the owner ignores requests for help, maybe it is time this one was retired.
Can the owner please check this cache and help all those who are looking or wish to look for it. With Christmas fast approching others are planning there caching trips. Please post a note for those watching.
Looked all around the GZ. There are many nooks and crannys but unless the description/clue is made more explicit there's not much else I can think of. I'm guessing that, given the large number of other people failing to find it, this one has been lost to the sea during a storm or something. It's a pretty exposed location to the elements.
Nice quiet day and spent plenty of time looking around but another DNF for us beginners
Well another failed attempt. I first logged a DNF way back in 2006.. Apparently that time it had been swept away, This 2nd time too many muggles about . Today had a decent search seeing that the owner says it's there.
It's rated a 1.5/1, so why is it that so many of us can't find it in the last year or more, AND even the owner has trouble finding it.
I have a nagging suspicion that maybe it may have been subjected to cache creep. It may still be there but are the co- ordinates actually correct? Is the cache at the coords listed? Or has it moved?
The hint could be updated cause it's not very helpful at all. There are just so many as the eye can see. Might as well be no hint at all.
In it's early days cachers found this with no difficulty, given it's rating this shouldn't be this hard.
Please help put us out of our misery.

In 4 days time this would be the first anniversary of another DNF on this one . Maybe a better hint would assist.
Met up with Usat31 again on our way out for his second search here as well. Good Luck (but will secretly curse him if he finds it). [:(!]
Watch some young kids on their boogie boards leaping out into the wild surf. Madness!

Gee I would have liked to have posted a find here today, but like Pipes & his daughter, Mr Us & Big Miss Us we were unable to find the cache. I think now that we may have been making the cache more difficult than it is, after a chat with a previous finder later this afternoon.
The young grommets were putting on a bit of a show, and it was a nice day for a drive anyway.
We will be back again, but sooner than the almost 2 years since we were last here.

Cheers

Spent another fruitless 45 mins searching here. To no avail, Scratched knees, and fingers.. hot and windy.. I know its a micro and found in August 2008.. but any other clues mate? GPS was right on the spot. but no luck..
Spent twenty mins on hot sun this morning searching the nooks and crannies..to no avail..maybe the geckos we saw sunbaking, ate it? Have to come back.
Nice reef, but the cache in very bad condition... needs to be in the box...
Thank you Tairra

Again couldn't find it after a fruitless search. Even after settling the GPSr, no luck.
Cache check please.

Had a good hard look and could not find any trace despite the clue. Any chance to confirm it is still in place?
mmmmm Had quite a serious look around at all the nooks and crannies to no avail. Has this gone missing again?
Will try again in a few weeks.

Found this one easily thanks to the good co-ords! Funnily enough we overheard a family (of foreign origin) calling to one of their kids later on in the day, who was called "Kinell", which made us think of this cache!
Thanks,

It was not to hard to find. I had a great view of the boats in the Sydney to Hobart race.
Muggles every where, pretty windy and hot, Nice area, great views. took a bit of looking eventually found, Nice hide.
Took a while to find this one . I was standing right on top of it. Forgot it was a micro cache

this is the second attemt we did at this one after turning up over a year ago with 3 gps and 6 people and not being able to find it during the day. This time we had 4 people no gps and it was night time. What are the odds hey.
Found with Team Wintonio and 2 mates at 1:05am. Couldnt sign the log as we forgot a pen.

Headed out with Team Batty, Razz and Bero for this one without a GPS. We had unsuccessfully searched a while ago when it had gone missing, so we knew the general location. It was raining, it was 0:30 when we set off, walked in from outside the park. Found after 15 minutes of searching. Great spot. Didn't have a pen either so we'll have to go back to sign the log.

I didn't know where to look, so many possible locations??
After some searching Bushy2233 found GZ.. As we signed the log we noticed the spear fisherman in the huge swell, the weather was terrible, dark and grey.. Just shows how far people will go for a feed of fresh Aussie sea food..
Thanks TNLNSL

Took a little while to find, even though I had guessed how it would be hidden. Just as well the spot is somewhere worth hanging around!
When I got there it was raining a bit and the police were in the carpark - I thought it was gonna be tough and then I wondered how does this one stay dry?
Then I found it and my questions were answered - just as well it didn't take me long - I'd left the car lights on!!
Thanks for the cache - quite a nice spot really - but if you are in a vehicle with low clearance or balding tyres don't try to park too close to the cache...

Nice place to be on a nice day. Upon arriving I first thought it could be anywhere, but fortunately the co-ords were spot on.
thanks.
thanks.
Cache replaced.
The location coped a hammering from the recent storm swells, so I would assume thats why it disappeared.
It was a bugger to find even if you knew where it was to start with

Nope - along with the past 4 cachers who have been bothered to log a DNF, we couldn't find the cache either. Along withthe muggle activity, a micro may well have been washed away with al the recent rain.
And yep - I swore too!!!
Please, could the cache owner have a check of this one - it has been a long time since it has been found, and with at least 5 cachers now not being able to find it, I think it is time.
Cheers.

We had a pretty good look for this one, but no joy.
Can the cache owner pls check this one out? Alot of muggle activity here, so may have been removed...

Searched around for 15 mins, unable to locate.
Can the owner do a cache check, last found April 19, 2006.

Searched where i thought the GPS was indicating and found exactly what the clue said. looks like the littlies have been moved around. Has this cache been muggled? Even checked the nooks and crannies in the biggie. But no luck. Can the owner do a cache check seeing that the last time someone actually found it was some time ago.
Worked with Team Bat77y and Team Super Best Friends, but alas, with 6 of us searching with 3 GPS's for an hour we came up with nothing. We must be blind or something as most people seem to have found it quite easily (Maybe it's gone??)
But we'll be back to try again, it will not beat us.
Thanks

Found this in January while out with Sc00t and Fugu, nice spot, the crashing waves were fun to play with.
Thanks
Thanks
Team Booya had bever been out to Kurnell before and thought it was about time. Cache was in a gorgeous location (The clue works )and we had fun looking in all the rock pools and watching the waves.
The entry road is closed so we parked on the side of the main road, still, its a very short walk.
Thanks

Your first micro and I hope not your last Effrem. Took two attemps to get this one, a sneaky hide. Thanks for the cache. Regards Philma.
Cache #3 @ 4:38pm
An easy find in a nice area although i don't think a wheelchair would get to this cache so i don't understand the Terrain rating of 1.
and the hint made me start looking in the wrong spots but once i ignored the hint i found it straight away.

A relatively easy find after digging around in a few nooks and crannies Thanks Effrem.
After a couple of minutes of poking around, we managed to find it.
I'm sure the access road has deteriorated since I was last there.

Went for a leasurly (12km) walk with the F in Aft, this was the first ime in over a year that she has actually come with me whilst I was caching.
7:02pm
A quick find, in a nice spot, views were great, had to get out before the gates were closed. Signed the log and kept going.

Out on a ride with some friends. What a top day! Hardly any wind and not a cloud in the sky. Found it fairly quickly since the co-ords were spot on. Thanks Effrem.
Our first of nine finds for the day, including a clean sweep of the Kurnell penisula. Went looking with Shaggy and Abuseme, but Shaggys made the find. Nice area! Thanks Effrem.
Our second attempt at this one. No wonder we couldn't find it, we were looking for something slightly larger. Nice one!
Looked for a while in search of something big and obvious. Reread the log and then had success looking for something small and sneaky! Last for the day and time for an icecream.
Hecta found this one after Ebenezer had a first try a few days ago. Today there were fairly strong coastal breezes (aka freezing gale force winds)and we recommend holding onto the cache container, rather than putting it down and then chasing it all over the place! Too choppy for us to notice any whales.
Could not see the whales from here only spotted some guys from a camera club taking photos of the rocks.
My daughter told me that the GPSr was saying it should be right where I was sitting, so I looked around and immediately spotted where it would be. I think we were lucky though - there are a LOT of spots where it COULD have been.
I searched in quite a few possible hidey-holes for this cache, but it seems that none of them were the actual hidey-hole. I will have to bring Hecta along next time to help look.
what a sneaky little spot but with such acurate coords took 2secs, 2nd for the day and great spotting from my wife, yes she comes as well
Out to the caching hotspot to knock over a few caches today. Not a good idea as Kurnell was full this weekend hosting a festival.
A nice easy find, but I didnt have a pen so I had ask a muggle for one. Thanks Effrem

So many people, soooo many watching eyes. Worked out where it was but took some time to make the retrival without being observed.
Nice placement Effrem.

An early morning find for us. We sat and enjoyed the view and remembered those that fought for our country.
No luck for me today at the end of a long day of caching at the new captial of caching - Kurnell.
Looked in plenty of nooks and crannies but obviously not the right ones.

Third time to Kurnell this week - one of my favourite haunts when I was a youth.
Found it easily thanks to the footprints in front of the hidey hole.
Thanks Effrem!
